From block Academy before I can move on so I feel like building another another portal is very important to graduate block Academy cuz it’s very uh it’s a very common thing that people do I think on Minecraft right anyways I wanted to say thank you to Tia and um for the

Gr school so I’m not I I didn’t uh go to grad school straight after my bachelor’s degree so I wouldn’t know what a grad school course is like yeah basically they don’t teach you from a textbook at all it’s like literally just like all current literature I mean this class is at least

All right where they have suggested readings but they’re all like nobody really uses them if I’m being completely honest um they don’t even sell the textbooks at our bookstore well so that means they just leave you all alone to figure out everything yeah pretty much what yeah why

Um I don’t know do that just make it harder for you well yeah gum gum it all of your studies I I would not enjoy going back to school if I were also really busy with all of this so I forgot what it’s like to be in

College already it’s been a long time yeah honestly like I at this point I just want to get a passing grade and you got this you got this you did you got such a good grade for your last paper right yeah yeah um it’s uh uh I’m honestly like purely banking

On my lab report marks for that class because um long story short I’m not really good at exams and I’m even worse at physics um unfortunately this particular class is like called physical organic chemistry so there’s like a whole bunch of like quantum physics involved that I’m very not good

At wow see quantum physics just the fact that you’re doing quantum physics makes me think of Big Bang Theory I love that show oh believe me I wouldn’t be taking this class if I had a choice unfortunately it’s a prerequisite for another class that I need to

Graduate next semester you do don’t you do like chemistry not physics yeah but like unfortunately um a big discipline in chemistry is called physical chemistry which is basically just the physics of like atoms and stuff what um yeah unfortunately I’ve basically taken all of the analytical chemistry courses

That the school offers which um for people who aren’t familiar analytical chemistry is just basically what makes our like machines go go do stuff and we can get results from it’s also pretty physics heavy but it’s not nearly as intense as like actual physical chemistry um most

Of what we really need to worry about is just electromagnetism and like that stuff and surprisingly uh electromagnetism was like probably the easiest unit for me in like first year physics you know what I completely gave up on physics so I commend you for being able to survive all of those things

Anyway yeah and unfortunately I also took all of I’m basically taking all the organic chemistry classes the school has to offer as well or go don’t even remind me okay but like personally I would say orgo is like the least the lesser of all

The evils like if I had to if I had to personally rank everything first it would be physical chemistry at the very top and then in organic chemistry because quite frankly the entire like Metals block just scares me like I don’t think anything should have like more than four

Bonds you know my my little brother is really really into organic chemistry he even got like a giant whiteboard and bought all those like poly molecule kind of little little oh oh I’m so sorry tell tell your brother that the uh tell your brother that the molecular models are

Moits are a scam he loves M kids so much and he’s just like really really obsessed with organic chemistry and I think he wants to do something like that he’s already he’s still in high school but he’s already studying and preparing for college level organic chemistry and

Thousands of dollars for like a single kit because they’re so rare well that’s what happens when things become vintage and they get out of circulation I mean I’m pretty sure that my um my audio interface it they don’t make my audio interface anymore so the issue is with

Yeah the one that I have is a really old Roland Cakewalk oh my God and it’s so because that they they don’t make it anymore they don’t make updates for the drivers anymore so I can’t use it with my MacBook because the OS systems keep updating whereas the the

Windows systems kind of stay the same and it’s only compatible with my window with my PC uh so that’s why I use it for my streams because it’s pretty low maintenance it’s straightforward whereas the other ones I use with my with my Mac because it can use all of the features

Of the audio interphase but um let’s get started with some block Academy yay so I was reading through all of your comments and I know the number one rule is to never put a place of bed down in the Nether world if I end up building a another portal successfully okay that

Comes with like a massive caveat because like bed bombing is like one of the most efficient ways to like mine strip mine um netherite actually but what do you need netherite for uh for like essentially the strongest armor in the game and like the strongest uh tools and

Weaponry and also you can use it to essentially craft a load Stone so um well with the Curt mod pack that I gave you um you don’t really need it because there’s like a mini map anyway um so now you don’t have to get lost uh but like in vanilla essentially um

Yeah would you can use it to like craft a load Stone and um buy new Compass to it and like it’ll always point to um the location if you’re in the same Dimension as like the load Stone why why is it not loading oh no is it because I loaded it

Enchanting people but I we did have a librarian in another one so I have to I have to look for that one okay I hope you didn’t trade with him oh I I I I don’t I haven’t traded at all in uh in this game yet great just have to

Figure out where my old village was so so on this map if you see like the very end of it that’s that’s why um that was my first Village but I had another Village that was somewhere that I’ll have to figure out where it is but we’re going on an

Adventure the objective today is I don’t know if we’ll be able to find more pandas cuz I already found one in a jungle in the jungle biome but I don’t even know how many jungle biomes are in this are do you think there are more jungle biomes I could find um it’s not

Just a jungle biome it has to specifically be a bamboo jungle for a pandas to spawn yeah so I did find one in one bamboo this whole area right here but do you is there a possibility there might be another bamboo one somewhere also did you name the one that

You already have uh I just called it bam bam why um oh dear why is it going to die my yeah my advice is please make a fishing rod as soon as possible and start fishing like return and start fishing because if you don’t name them they’re going to

Sticks you can just what I usually do is I just keep on making Stone pickaxes because iron is best spent you making like other things I see yeah so we’ll make stone pickaxe you’ll have more than enough Stone to make it all right just do that many three I made three mhm

Okay so once I find this iron thing I have to we’re trying to enchant my pickaxe or something like that my shovel uh sort of first what we’re going to do is after you get um Copper’s useless I don’t know why it spawns so often but it does and and it can’t be

Used for like anything yeah anything useful anyway oh my God is that no oh that’s lapis oh oh pretty that can be used for enchanting oo I’ve been blessed I found a little bit of a of a Lapis strip very nice um let’s see after we get you enough iron or we

Get bored enough that we decide you know what we’re just going to go ahead and seal the Anvil from the Villager uh once I can find this goddamn Village it’s somewhere I know it’s somewhere yeah um after that what we got to do is essentially make a fishing rod and then

Go fishing for uh a very long time until you get yourself a name tag tag and then we use the Anvil to rename it oh is that what is that where you get name tags from like yeah you can get it from fishing or you can get it from Trading with

Librarians I would highly recommend going back up to like drop everything off into like a chest you will end up with a lot of stone that’s true I was like I don’t want any of this stuff and I haven’t even dug that deep all right PE

Yep so I could just just dump everything dump mhm dump dump it into a chest Dump Dump Dump Dump okay I’m just going to dump all my stuff cuz I feel like we’re just we’re just exploring in the meanwhile okay okay I think we’re good let’s go actually no can I dump more

What else should I dump um should dump the wooden planks in the wood as well and the string and the sticks well actually no keep uh keep the stack of 20 sticks and then put everything else in the chest okay yeah you’ll need the 20 sticks to make

Torches and for now go to sleep cuz uh you’re right oh my God imagine if my panda follows me um there’s a chance he might that’s cute okay I actually really like digging in Minecraft I like I like digging into the ground it’s very therapeutic I feel all right we’re heading

Over let’s go so tell me what other tips there are in Minecraft that I can learn so the only time you can make a oh my God gravel son of a [ __ ] ah godamn gravel um so the only time you can make a or get a name tag is

If you fish it uh if you one you can fish it which is the easiest method in my opinion even though it’s very RNG heavy because the other option is to trade with a librarian for a lot of emeralds oh damn it is a lot of emerald which is why

I say you’re better off fishing so then what does the name tag do is it for what kind of animals can you use the name tag for you can honestly use it on any animal including Hostile Mobs yeah wow so if you ever want to go ahead and

Catch a creeper for some God awful reason you can and essentially by naming an animal it allows you to um make make it so that it doesn’t despawn under like any circumstances MH um um normally for like pets and stuff like animals that you can

Tame such as like cats and dogs and like birds and stuff they don’t despawn if you like tame them but for other animals like you know cows or pandas which you can’t tame this is like the way to like prevent them from despawning oh that’s something to learn I didn’t know so like

If I wanted to pet aelott or something like that do I need a name tag too or do they despawn yeah you got a name tag oh I wish I could just just get unlimited name tags in this game you can if you fish for long enough oh

Damn yeah cuz in the last stream I got a horse oh yeah if you tame a horse it doesn’t like despawn but then it died I killed I killed it oh I phys that’s a killed it on my own that’s unfortunate okay yeah cuz I want to get this panda

Out of the the bamboo biome so that it just it makes it a lot easier for me to um go back to it so that I can I just kind of I don’t know there there are a lot of nether portals in my area like I

Found a lot of broken down ones so I don’t have to use so many resources to keep building Nether Portals but I want to build one that’s that’s closer to where the panda is oh I like you can just build it into the walls of like anywhere right your hideout yeah

Okay that is good to know and then I know that trans you told you told me how to transport them in the Nether world it’s a little more complicated cuz you have to make blue ice which you have to get a lot of ice from and then you

Have to get the enchanting pickaxe to get regular ice yep why why is that is it cuz it breaks easily with ice yeah it’s because it’s like so ice and like glass are considered like fragile so to speak so unless you have a silk touch enchantment on them you cannot like

Under any circumstances Harvest them oh can’t even can’t even make them or craft the ice I normal ice you can’t make oh um glass you can yeah glass you can make through sand that’s why I was like but like if you want to say if you’re like

You know cheap like me because sand is still a finite resource um you use a silk touch like pickaxe to like remove it and then you need a lot of ice in order to make blue ice yep and you might need depending on how far away your base

Is you might need a lot of blue ice so that’s why I say you are definitely better off you definitely should name your Panda first so he doesn’t despawn because this is uh this kind of prep uh it does take a long time but good news is ice does break

Very very quickly so you can Harvest a ton in a short amount of time nice you just got to find like an ice spikes biome grabbing all this coal that I see careful not to get mauled by a polar bear okay what was that what was

That huh did you hear that no I have the stream muted what what’s that noise what was that I’m scared uh sounded like a machine turning on oh okay that might be like Minecraft ambient noises um I have those turned off because they do scare me as

Well but like where maybe I am in a mine yeah cuz this is a lot I mean like if you go deep enough it does make those noises really like creepy scary ass no feel like y yeah oh basically don’t scare the crap out of me Minecraft also

There’s like a there’s still a laice over there you might want to pick up yeah got it yep yay then once you’re at y level 16 um just go ahead and like start digging straight that’s when you can start your uh we’re on 19 yeah okay that’s when like that’s iron level

So to speak where like the most iron spawns oh yeah and then you can just start digging straight and oh wait this is starting your stripes if you go deeper to like yal 56 is that’s Diamond level we’re at Sand level right now why the why oh oh my God you find a

Clay deposit somehow I didn’t even know CL it’s really really it’s just yeah it’s all dirt yeah all right I guess I’m digging straight yep [Applause] interesting um I feel like it’s all sand and then oh here we go well at least with this sort of stuff

It’s like easier to uh shovel through they’re faster mhm [Applause] and then I can finally find some iron somehow somewhere come on and then I have to I have to build another um uh what do you call it a a crafting table oh no but I left all my wood upstairs

[ __ ] that’s why you always take the crafting table with you oh man rip and then I now didn’t build enough BL for me hey what okay oh my God I’m going to oh my God are you serious oh my God I literally okay there we go I was like

Nope you get to make bricks what do you mean you’re so jealous I found a clay deposit yeah you can make bricks uh I don’t know why but like bricks are somehow like well Clay is somehow like pretty rare in Minecraft for powerful reason yeah wait so I’m lucky that I actually

Found one yeah usually you find them at like the bottom of rivers so but why I don’t have Clay here this all just like no the the the little balls are clay where in your inventory oh oh that those are clay balls yeah oh I’ve never seen those well good to

Know good to know I have all so many clay balls all around me surrounded by all of the balls so many balls so we’re going to go straight Su godamn copper oh my God this game I swear to God this game will be the death of

Me and it’ll be turned into bricks and then what do you use the bricks for to build a brick house is that what people like the bricks for is that is people use it to kind of like decorate their homes and such yeah they just look good as Building

Material you know what I I’m interested in maybe building use uh building like a proper brick house so that I don’t die in the wilderness maybe I should I should just carry well how how much is it to make a brick it might not be that

Bad four clay oh I have like 10 million Clays yeah but like that’s that’s still only like 32 clay oh yeah but I can I can I can still just make a really small house I only need a tiny little little establishment for me and my panda

Bear I think the amount that you have is only enough to fit your Panda hey I’ll sleep in my panda he has a he’s just L got a lot of fur so I’ll just sleep in his fur I’ll sleep in under him he can sleep on top of
