Hello everyone and welcome back to another minecraft tutorial in this video I’ll be showing you how to make your own custom heads and put them into a Minecraft world just like the ones that we got behind me right here all of these are custom made they’re not part of the Vanilla game and we are on a backup of the hermit craft well to show you this because hermit craft has been showcasing a lot of these custom heads so it felt very appropriate now in this video you will need to do several things to achieve these custom heads you’ll need To visit a website which should be fairly easy you’ll need to be able to edit skins that might involve one of those minecraft apps the editing skins or it might involve some custom software you’ll need to be able to do that you’ll also need to use in-game commands on Your world so you need to be in game-mode 1 or be up on the server wherever you are and you’ll also need to be able to change your player skin which you can do through the minecraft Launcher if you can do all of those things then let’s proceed we’re going to Start off by checking out the minecraft skin that you’ll need to edit so here is my minecraft skin inside this program we can go around and change all the pixels and make the skin look different but I’m not here to show you the artistic side of things as clearly I don’t know what I’m doing when it comes to changing these skins I’m here to show you which part of the skin file you’ll need to edit to create the custom head it might be a little bit obvious but I want to make sure it’s very clear so this is the Skin that we’re going to be changing into it is the Asuma sky Shepherd skin over here so you can see that the head area is completely different and that’s the area that we want to be editing now this layer that I’m going to show you tells you all the different parts of the Skin file and where they appear but the two we’re focusing on our heads and head – those are the ones that we are going to be editing and in fact I’m going to know the transparency just so that makes a little bit more sense to you okay So let’s highlight the areas we’re going to be editing let’s get rid of that layer and so it’s inside this red area here that you would edit all of the things you want appear on your custom minecraft head then when you’ve done that you want to save this file you want To change it to your skin in the minecraft Launcher and then we’ve got to go visit a web site now I probably don’t need to explain this to anyone but just in case you weren’t aware because the launch had changed a while back you click on skins here and then it loads up Your skin page you can see I’ve already changed mine but if you click on the Browse button you can select the file from your computer and then you can click on the save down here and it will upload it to the server and then that will be your skin welcome to the website That I mentioned earlier it’s called minecraft heads and in the description box you can find a link to this specific page that you’ll need to upload your own custom header now this website is full of heads and it’s got all the commands to give you them in games you can click On some of them down here you can browse the categories on the side but if you’ve edited your own skin and you put it on your player then here is how you can turn that skin that you’ve edited into a player head in-game so right here you Got to type in your username and then you can give a name to the skull so we’re going to type in Asuma well it’s already got it there hasn’t it sky Shepherd Asuma that’s what we called it last time and then you click on create give code and a moment later this Page will load up where you can see a preview of the heads that you are creating and below it the give command that you’re going to use in game now very important thing to mention here is that the texture of this head that you’re using is stored inside the MBT Data that means when you open a chest or you see the head in the world there will never be a lag spike from it downloading the skin and putting it onto the head that’s really important that means this is really well optimized for using in The game so now what we’re going to do is copy this command and go inside the Minecraft game so just copy that to your clipboard and we can paste it in so when you’re in your Minecraft world you’re going to need to give yourself a command block this is the command very simple And then we’re going to place that on the ground we’re going to attach a button to it so we can power it and then we paste that code inside the command block right here now the reason we need a command block is because that is too Long to enter it into chat so once that’s inside of the command block we’re going to power the button and you can see that the command block has given us our custom heads which I’m now going to put on my head and show off hi in my Inventory I have two these heads now this one has slanted text that one has straight text in case you’d like to know the difference on how to get the straight text what you want to do is go to the beginning of this command and look for where it says name and just Type loc before the name and that one that it gives you will no longer have the slanted text it will just be regular text I’m now going to show you how you can add this head to a loot table what I’m not going to do is cover how a loot Table is structured or how you set up all of that stuff this is what people already know what they’re doing if you do need some loot tables to work with though you can download them from my website there are lots there that are made to drop from mobs and this one was Actually made to drop from the bat and the only thing that it drops is the player head and that’s when it’s killed by a player that’s what all this bit is about and if we go down to here we can see the bit where the item itself is Dropped and it is this part right here the display is the only bit that we’re going to touch and change so from where that bracket opens to it closes is the bit we need to look at if I go into this other file right here this is what we Got from the website and we can remove this part right here entirely and you can see that Open bracket and that closed bracket right there so we need to copy this into the other one but before we do that we need to go in and add some Slashes so wherever you see a quote like this you need to put a slash before and I think there are six in total and it should be a slash in that direction so there’s two of them and yes this looks a little bit odd but that’s the way that It works in Jason there’s the next two and then we have one there and finally over here at the end that so then what we do is we copy all of that and we replace what’s here with the new code and that’s how you get it into a loot Table and that’s how I bring the mob heads into the world and now you know how to do it to a massive thank you goes out to chimp dee who showed me how to get this done so I appreciate you sharing that with me and if you’ve Enjoyed this video leave a like because that’s it for me this one be sure to
