X-ray for Minecraft 1.19.4 that’s why you’re here so let’s go ahead and get it installed now first things first you’ll want to go to this website this is our in-depth guide on getting X-ray it’s a text version it goes over everything and if you want to Go through things at more of your own pace this is where you can do that we also go over different frequently asked questions and issues you may have when you get X-ray but once you’re here go ahead and click on the yellow download x-ray ultimate button to be taken to the X-ray ultimate download page what is x-ray ultimate well it is texture pack that we’re going to be using to install x-ray into Minecraft luckily you don’t need to add in any mod loaders or anything like that to get X-ray all you’ve got to do is download a texture Pack and install it now right now this is what you see but you may see this in the future it’s kind of a new setup let me go ahead and navigate to x-ray ultimate in this new setup for curse Forge there we go now the reason I want To show you both of these is the installation process is a bit different but on the new curse Forge simply go to files right here and then what you want to do is find the most recent version now any 1.19.1 version or higher is going to work in 1.19.4 so this one’s 1.19.1 it’s still going to work so click the three dots here and click download file now it will download after a few seconds and if you’re on the older version of curse Forge here and it looks like this simply look at the right hand sidebar and scroll down to the 1.19 Section and click the orange download button here either way you’re going to get the exact same file but I wanted to show you both of those with those downloaded though how do you install it well first let’s move x-ray ultimate to our desktop to do that click the little Windows icon it’s in the top left of my screen probably the bottom left your screen or bottom center of your screen on Windows 11. once you’ve clicked on that little Windows icon you can type in downloads now for some people it will open up a downloads folder you’ll be Able to just select it for here for me I have to click on file explorer then on the left hand side navigate to this PC and then finally to your downloads folder in here we have x-ray ultimate now we can drag and drop this to our desktop and open up Minecraft 1.19.4 just like you would any other Minecraft version like I said there’s no need for mods or anything like that for this it is just using a default Minecraft texture pack so what that means is you just open up Minecraft like you would any other time vanilla Minecraft with nothing fancy installed Once you’re in Minecraft all you need to do is go to options resource packs and then click open pack folder that’s pretty fast let’s do it one more time from the Minecraft Main menu just click options resource packs and then click open pack folder in the bottom left that Will then open your resource packs folder now just drag and drop x-ray ultimate from your desktop into your resource packs folder right like so when you do that and close out of this you’ll see in the background there’s x-ray ultimate now when you hover over it says Incompatible it’s also got this red box around it what does that mean well it’s okay that is perfectly fine just hover over x-ray ultimate click on the arrow that appears on the X-ray ultimate icon and then it was gonna make this warning happen right it’s going to say this pack Is made for an older version of Minecraft and made a longer work guess what it is going to work so go ahead and just click yes that you’re sure you want to love this pack and it is now selected when we click done Minecraft’s going to Reload and x-ray is installed we can now jump into single player and get to using it now it is worth noting at this point that if you were to use x-ray ultimate on a server you will get banned it’s not an if you’ll get banned it’s a you will Get banned and for that reason we recommend only ever using this in single player but as you can see x-ray is enabled we can see these ores except we really can’t it’s kind of hard to see them how do you fix that well we want to go ahead and get some night vision Potions at least this is one of the ways you can fix this and how you can fix it without installing any other mods as soon as we drink that night vision potion boom we can see all of the oars around us and if we could get more Render distance to pop in you can see a lot farther than this as well however another solution to this problem is of course OptiFine and OptiFine is a mod that allows you to basically enable Fulbright which means you get a view like this where you can see everything All of the time right it’s constantly showing you this all of the time and you can see so so far and uh very very bright without drinking a night vision potion good news is we have an in-depth guide in the description Down Below on how to get OptiFine bad news is Optifine’s not quite updated to Minecraft 1.19.4 yet the most recent version is 41.19.3 when it does update though we will of course update all of our tutorials so be sure to subscribe so you’re notified for when that video comes out and if you’re watching this in The future and you go to that link in the description and this says 119 4 here guess what it is updated you could also say a newer version this is one of the 24 example it updated so there you go that is how you can get OptiFine and get Kind of the full bright look all of the time without drinking a night vision potion like this but at this point x-ray is installed but how do you turn it off well you can do that in game just go ahead and hit escape and then go ahead And go to options resource packs and then hover over the selected x-ray ultimate pack here and click on the Arrow that moves it back to available where you can then click done it’s going to reload Minecraft in when it does boom look at that x-ray is no longer active We can’t see any sort of ores but if we want to re-enable it just click Escape options resource packs and hover over it and available to move it to the available section after we confirm that we want to love this pack because it’s for an older version but it’s still Working fine click done and it will now update boom just like that x-ray is enabled nevertheless thank you so so much The specific XRay texture pack that we are going to be installing is XRay Ultimate. This is the most popular 1.19.4 XRay texture pack, and it is the most up-to-date and easiest to use. Let’s get it installed!
First things first, we need to download XRay Ultimate. You can find a link to download XRay for Minecraft 1.19.4 in the description above. That will actually take you to our text tutorial for getting Minecraft XRay 1.19.4. There, click the ‘Download XRay Ultimate’ button to go to the XRay 1.19.4 download page.
On this page, click on files, and find the 1.19+ version. Any 1.19 version will work in Minecraft 1.19.4. Click the ‘Download File’ button, and XRay will start downloading.
Next, we need to open up Minecraft 1.19.4. Then, from the Minecraft main menu, select Options and Resource Packs. Next, click on ‘Open Pack Folder’ in the bottom left. This will open your resourcepacks folder.
All you need to do install XRay in Minecraft 1.19.4 is drag-and-drop the XRay 1.19.4 texture pack into this resource packs folder. It will then be installed.
Go back into Minecraft, and you will see XRay Ultimate in the Available section. Even if it has a red box around it, hover over it, and click the arrow that appears on the XRay Ultimate logo. This will open a warning. Click the continue and use the pack anyway. XRay 1.19.4 will be in the selected pack section.
Click ‘Done’, and you will have activated XRay in Minecraft 1.19.4.
When you get into Minecraft, you may notice that things are a little dark and ores are hard to see while XRaying. This can be solved by simply drinking a nightvision potion. When you do, 1.19.4 XRay will work great, and everything will be visible underground.
Another solution is installing Optifine. This will give you the same effect as nightvision without using the nightvision potion. The link to get Optifine 1.19.4 is in the description above.
It is also worth noting that you cannot use XRay in Minecraft 1.19.4 on most Minecraft servers. In a lot of cases, it just simply won’t work.
