YoshiKiller – TOP 5 ADVENTURE MODS | Minecraft Java 1.16.5

Hello people welcome back to another uh video today i’m going to be doing instead of just one singular mod review um i thought i’d do five short ones so uh today i’m just gonna go over uh five of the best mods that i think will help uh minecraft feel more like a

Proper adventure game um these are mods that will include new structures uh new cave generation uh things like that so just to basically enhance exploration experience uh these are just five there are absolutely loads i could potentially go over um you’ve got uh biomes aplenty stuff

Like that ones that just add new biomes um i could have included that in here as well but i decided not to because uh adding biomes of plenty with different structure mods can really like mess up because i’m right now i have entry mastered on

Um and as you can see the structure is really big and if this were to be in bounds of plenty it could seriously muck up how the castle looks so i didn’t bother including that um but i could go over that separately or if there’s any mods in here that you want

Me to go over separately apart from um andrew master because obviously i’ve already done a video on on android mastered but there’s any ones in here um i could go over then let me know and i’m also going to be working on another one which has got magic in it which somebody

Suggested previously i’m having a look into that just now as well but this is just kind of one to fill in the gap because that one might take a bit longer because it’s quite a bit bigger um but without any further ado enough of me rambling

Let’s just uh go straight into it so first of all uh this is uh and remastered and this is a mod that i really like and this is a mod which i have a whole video like dedicated to i basically did a full-on review of it and this one’s really good basically

What it adds is it essentially but when i say entry mastered you might think that it’s the end dimension that’s being worked on but in actual fact it’s just getting to the end that these creators have focused on improving because really simple to get there you know there’s not much effort whatsoever

Required speedrunners can get there in like a couple in like less than a minute um but basically this mod adds in a whole set of new end arrives i think there’s 11 in total that you can find just in dungeons and stuff and you need all 11 of them to activate the

End portal which will take you to um the end itself now this castle here will actually uh generate once you find a map so you’re gonna you’re gonna have to buy the a map from a cartographer german and it’s gonna lead you to this castle uh filled with stuff it’s purely

Here for exploration purposes but there is also an end portal in here that you can um explore for yourself but there’s also a separate dungeon which you can use with the new eyes to get to which um hosts the portal and that dungeon is filled with little puzzle rooms and

Stuff uh i won’t bother going over there just now because if you want to have but if you want to have a look at this mod in detail do check out my other video and remastered um which happens to be my most popular one and that is a

Properly fill in depth look at this mod but yeah really really cool so if you’re looking for something more of a challenge to actually get to the end itself this one’s definitely for you you know you have those massiveness structure two new structures that you can go out and explore

This one is great for adventure and just exploration in general so yeah highly recommend this one and that is um and remastered moving on from end remastered we have young’s better caves and mine shafts now this mod uh completely changes uh underground generation and underground um caves because this was prior to caves

And cliffs being announced and this mod completely changes what the underground looks like makes it look far far far far far better um new blocks there’s new generation types of course and i included a young’s better mineshaft is actually a separate mod to the caves but i thought i’d include

The two together just because i thought it was fitting and why would you go for because he’s obviously made the two mods and they collect well with each other so i thought i’ll include them as um just two of the same but this is a this is an example of a

I’m in a ravine right now but this is an example of one of the some of the new uh cave kind of generation um types you can find i think it just looks really really really really cool so here we have all sorts of um

Stuff going on we also have um the other one is called sub wild and that is adding a bunch of new blocks and terrain as well as and some new underground biomes as well so this is going to be a hard to kind of mix the two together but this is um

What you’re seeing right now is a whole mixture of young’s better caves um sub wild and young’s better mine shafts in the one thing and so if you’re going to improve your cave cave generation i would highly recommend installing just all three of these mods because i think

Uh it’s just highly worth it and over here we have a this is a completely naturally generating uh mine shaft the mine shafts in this mod have been improved greatly minecraft mine shafts have not changed since they got added uh which i think is pretty ridiculous considering we’re getting caves and cliffs

And we’re not even getting an update to mine shafts um maybe we will later on we’ll see but for now we have uh we have um this to go off but this is just a absolutely perfect mod anyway so but we’ll just take a little wander through here with the night vision on

And we can see that there is even um actual shafts that we can um climb up and down to access different parts of the the uh the system here and down on here we have i think this might be yeah so here we have an example of

Some of the new generation types with the prism marine down here and it all just looks very very nice but uh carrying with the mine shafts uh this does go on for and i think we found yes here we go so this is one of the larger areas that you’ll be able to

Find um and this is all naturally generating note uh this is all naturally generating stuff you can find this quite common actually it is common and this will go on for quite a while so this is one of the this is the main um this is like the

Main segment of the mine shaft and it goes on for quite a while and it will branch off into multiple different areas and we can see here again some of a good example some of the new generation just really really really well done this mod

Is great this is uh the better caves and wild um sub-wilds merge into the one but uh carrying on if we just have a one last look through the spine shaft and we’ll move on to looking at some of the new biomes that um the subwild mod has to offer so we can

See here obviously this is quite broken apart we’ve got all sorts of new blocks here we have gravel patches we have um the the water puddles there of course we have this main this main tunnel kind of branching off into other little segments as we can see it goes

All the way over there uh we have a little branch here some mine carts everything obviously normally will spawn down here so you’ve got your your chests you even have little dungeon rooms that are going to spawn um in this in these mine shafts we’ll

See if we can find one but i don’t think there are any around here but that’s that’s okay and um over here we have some creepers very very nice i think there’s a chest here yeah here we go so everything normal will be spawning uh here’s some of the new blocks as well

Or no sorry that’s a vanilla block never mind but um yeah really really good stuff from this mod as well um and that adds so much more detail to the mine shafts because they’re quite boring normally frankly and this mod just uh really perks them up a

Wee bit i think we have actually found one of the little safety rooms that you can find um in the mine shafts here uh so you got some coal in there which is nice um i barrel as well with some loot oh there’s one of the

Um eyes for andrew mastered in there um so yeah that about that’s does it for the uh the mine shafts and we’ll move on and we’ll see if we can find any more of the the cave biomes that the um sub wild mod has to offer

And over here we have found an example of some of the new um the new cave generation uh the new cave biome sorry that we can find uh with the subterranean wilderness or sub-wild mod and this is actually the volcanic by a cave biome with some diamonds down there so this is

The volcanic cave biome and this can be found uh just really anywhere really but uh quite low down mind you um but really really good stuff to see here very very detailed and very um interesting and fun to look at and you’ll be able to see if we just take a quick

Sweep through here we’re going to see all sorts of biomes so we’ve got some kind of basic ones up there and then over here we have what looks to be some sort of ice biome um and if we’ll see if we can kind of expand on that we’ve as well

Find a better example but here we go so over here we have um the ice spy on the ice cave biome and it really really just adds some variation to the um under underground because it’s quite boring and bland until we get caves and cliffs but then again

Caves and cliffs only does add a few biomes there’s not even that many um as far as we know at the time of this video but um yeah really nice stuff to see from the subterranean wilderness mod or just sub um and this is a one i highly suggest

For people who like adventuring uh like look at this stuff you could just come across this while mining i think this is really really cool and combined with all the new mine shafts and everything uh this makes for just some excellent exploration and adventuring and i think it’s definitely worthy of um

Being on this list and definitely worthy for you as well next up on here we have dungeon crawler now this mod adds in a whole new range of dungeons to explore in your world and this will be quite a funny looking one actually this obviously has intended to spawn up on this

Mountain top but has dragged all the uh the bit the base below it down to the ground so they won’t spawn like this normally normally it’ll be probably what’s shown on screen here so about just this kind of portion of it but this one has obviously extended its way down to the

Uh the ground there and um this mod adds in uh these dungeons by the way they don’t look big but they are absolutely huge these have multiple floors to them each floor increasing in difficulty and some of the basically they contain mob spawners and some of the stuff you’re going to find

In those mob spawners is really nasty i’ve seen weather skeletons with like diamond armor on i’ve seen strays with enchanted diamond armor on some wild stuff but you also get really really good look from these things um i just think they look really cool so if we just take a look down actually

Let’s just go all the way down to the bottom of this now obviously it’s not going to be this deep normally but that’s only because um i have well this was just spawned in an awkward location i’ll beat um give me a second i’ll get the night

Vision back but we can see here it’s going to branch off in multiple directions and go off and um you know different kind of places it’s going to have loads of branches and floors i think there’s four or five that are in total uh so plenty to kind of

You know look at and we’ll take a book back into spectator here like so so we have uh going off in different location areas like so we have a little safety rooms that we can see in here which are nice we have some with some

Lift in them as well um and we can see over here we have different kind of branching um branching uh directions it’s going to gone into this ice cave um which is kind of cool so yeah it’s nice to see all these different uh biomes merging with the dungeon you can

See just how expansive this is like this thing goes really far down it’s continuing even down there so it’s all the way down there this is the one structure and these are fairly common so do definitely expect to see quite a few of them here

What what this is what looks to be some sort of lighting system here that you can activate but here we go here here we have an example one of the spawners now this is a bit of a more light-hearted one this isn’t really got anything going for it but this is

Only the first floor mind you there’s quite a few so if we just take a quick look uh here we go here’s a zombie with a and chant is that an iron pickaxe yeah it’s an iron pickaxe he’s got himself uh let’s see if we can go down to one of the

The lower floors so here we have the one of the lower floors and this is a much bigger room it’s going to have some more difficult kind of spawners in it if we take a look around we might be able to find a few and maybe not maybe not in here maybe if

We go down here oh here we go so yeah see what i mean this is a this is not really something to look over skeleton enchanted iron armor he’s got shield and he’s got a bow so yeah watch out this place is uh this place is pretty rough this is the

Staircase that you can find your way down um from and obviously this goes in multiple directions and if we just head down one more floor i believe this is the bottom one um oh there’s one more even this is the second bottom floor and uh that’s not loaded in properly oh no

That’s silverfish sorry and over here we have yeah i uh that’s a zombie enchanted iron armor and a diamond pickaxe he’s holding there um over here what we have we have some cave spiders so all sorts of stuff that wants to kill you and as you can see this pretty much

Goes down at the bottom of the world this is one dungeon um with all these fours yeah this is some beefy stuff well as i said before i saw weather skeletons there’s a wither skeleton with enchanted diamonds and iron armor um plenty of things for uh people who like

Combat and stuff uh we’ve just got another weather skeleton here he’s got diamond armor two spawners right next to each other um yeah you’re definitely gonna want to be deactivating a lot of these but they do contain good look and this is the bottom floor here this is going to

Contain uh the the richest flute and um just a really cool mod to help you with exploring this is probably one of the best you can get if you’re into exploring dungeons and just adventure in in general this is probably one of the best you can get just because of how expansive these

Dungeons can be and how difficult they can be um so yeah that is uh that is dungeon crawl highly recommend it and last but certainly not least we have val helsia’s structures mode and this one is actually taken from quite a large mod pack called um valhalvia

Uh valhalsia is a big mod pack created by a bunch of people and it’s basically a huge exploration uh fighting a really big mod pack by the way so if you’re not really into that sort of like um really large and expansive mod packs i wouldn’t get the full thing it’s a

Cool mod if you want to check it out mod pack um runs on curse forge not the minecraft launcher just to note uh but this one takes all of these structures from valhelsia and puts them into one mod to keep them isolated from the main uh mod pack and then

Some of these structures are some of the best i’ve seen in terms of like naturally generated like this is a castle that can just be found and i mean it looks like someone has just built it here and it’s not glitched into any other terrain it’s just perfectly placed

Um i think they’ve done a really good job with how they’ve generated these structures and you can even see it’s like created a little grass platform for it to sit on um i think it just looks great uh we’ve got some of the new blocks here we have some braziers

Which i think look great on castles uh we have the the flag here the valhelsia flag um we have like towers and stuff and it’s quite big actually for a naturally generating structure um so highly recommend coming and getting this mod if you like exploring new structures and even some of these

You could use as your own base to keep um like this is entirely hospitable like it’s quite expansive there’s even a wee like basement below if you can find that there’s a wee uh dining hall for you um you’ve got you’ve got all your storage and stuff i think it’s i think

It’s pretty cool you’ve got your different towers and that’s not the only structure that comes with this mod there are quite quite a few and i’ve got another one i’ve marked which we’ll head on over to just a second uh in just a second but um yeah in terms of

This mod yeah good stuff we have a look in a bedroom up here with all sorts of armor and yeah just a great job overall i think from the the people who made this mod and uh but if you do like the larger mod packs i would definitely check out the

Full thing because it’s uh it’s a great it’s a great pack with tons of exciting content but for those of you who just want a smaller one that adds in a few things and this is a great one to go for and without further ado we’ll crack on with the next uh

Structure that this one has to offer now this one isn’t maybe the best example but it was the closest one using the slash locate command that i could find so this is the ruined tower now bearing in mind the ones i’m showing you today they’re not uh that’s not all the smartest over

Uh offer sorry i’ll in fact we’ll find out how many structures there are in total if i just do valhallsia okay there’s quite a few so we have the castle we have the castle ruin with the desert house we have the forge of the player house the small castle the

Small dungeon and the tower ruin the tower of ruin is the one we are at right now and so yeah plenty of stuff to you know keep you guys going and i think it just looks really really cool these structures uh this one has spawned with a tree inside it i think that’s

Intentional yeah this is a custom tree um but uh some of these places you can find lit in uh some of them are not and as i said this one probably wouldn’t be great for if you’re wanting to live in it but it’s a nice kind of thing to have

That just makes the world feel a bit more alive if you were to come across it um as far as interior i believe this place is just entirely filled in apart from this oh well then you get yourself a lucky gold block if you come into here

Yeah that’s something nice um but yeah just adds more life um and especially for people who like the exploration and adventure uh aspect of minecraft these valhalla structures will definitely add to that experience but with all those five mods out the way that is going to do it for today’s video
