I’m going to show you how to build this nether themed potion room what’s going on everybody this is captain obvious and welcome back to another minecraft tutorial all right so it’s been a while since i’ve done a room tutorial and you guys seem to really like when i do them i love Making them and this one is actually suggested uh suggested by mr andre ellington who was who left a comment in my original potion room tutorial which i will also link for you guys uh he suggested that i do a nether themed potion room which i thought was a fantastic idea so I’ve been working on it off and on and uh yeah now i’m ready to share it and i’m stoked i absolutely love this room i i really really do uh it’s got a little bit of a semi-automatic potion farm thing to it now i have that here’s the deal i left this Open to interpretation so the space is three i have a semi uh basically an automatic form you just push the button and it does everything else so semi automatic whatever you wanna call it but i have one that will fit here now it’s a lot of redstone behind um so If you don’t like this one you can do that this one i went with more of a simplistic kind of exposed form where you can kind of see everything you know you can fill up all the ingredients here you got the the hoppers you have access To i really like this but i’ll also link that video in the description and in the with the pins and stuff as well okay but yeah it’s pretty cool now this right here these are just placeholders okay these are pickles but when we when we get candles when candles become available to Everybody um i suggest you put the candles on here probably the blue ones it’ll look really good so i went with the basalt uh the i went with the black stone and i went with the um crimson and warped blocks and i also did a little nod right here i’m sorry not crimson Uh the warped blocks i did a little a little nod to crimson right here just on this one section but everything else is blue and black for the most part besides obviously uh the ingredients and the chest okay and then we got some the potions right here so this is a healing potion Of uh two uh you can build this in another you would just where the water is you would just have to get rid of that other than that you can totally build this in another but yeah let’s just get into what you need and how to build it okay Here’s everything you’re going to need either pause it take a screenshot or just look in the description now one thing i always forget to do with the rooms is give you guys a dimension so it’s going to be 15 wide by 19 long okay and we do go down i think i’m Pretty sure it’s two at the lowest point underground but i mean if that’s not a big deal you can just dig it out when you get there okay so i’d suggest you just build yourself a little framework really quick okay so once you get that done on that fourth block over so One two three four we’re going to take the polish basalt we’re going to break that down we’re going to go one two three four five start from the right side again one two three on that fourth one you’re gonna break the block and go one two three four five Okay now you’re just going to connect them now we’re going to go diagonal back with our stripped warp stem we’re going to break down we’re going to go one two three four five six same thing over here we’re gonna go diagonal break down one two three four five six and we’re gonna Bring these all the way across okay we’re just trying to build the framework for the room and then we can go add all the fine details later on next up again polish basalt we’re going to go one two three four five six this also comes all the way over And then again just connect it by going straight up okay cool now we’re gonna come in here and we’re gonna go one two three and then go up like so again one two three on that fourth one we’re going to go up so we’re going to basically create Three areas on this side so that’s one one area right here two and now one two three four and that’s the third one okay that is the third section cool now we’re gonna do the same thing with our uh warps our stripped warp stem so we’re gonna come right here We’re gonna go one two three oops three four five six and actually you can go underneath that one as well i forgot about that there we go okay and we’re going to go across like this but first let’s do this side now we’re going to go one two Three on that fourth one one two three four five six so we’re just doing the same thing as we did on the opposite side here okay up just like that you guys know i like to build everything symmetrical okay and then we just come up like so Okay so that’s the the basic framework and then one more for the outside over here we’re just going to go one two three four uh again we’re going to go underneath i also forgot to do for that one okay and then come across here break that down go one two three four five And then connect those across okay so your room right now should look just like this okay now we’re gonna do the back walls to each of these little areas here so we’re gonna take our warped wart block okay we’re gonna go one two three on the bottom okay for This one we’re also gonna go down one and then we can open these two up like that and then we’re gonna come up one two three four five okay so go all the way up with it you’re gonna do that for all of the sides and then for the back one right here What we’re going to do is we’re going to put this warped wart exactly in line with the polished basalt like so and then we’re going to come one more back and just do three rows of it just like so okay just like that so now you can finish each of these little chambers Right here the same way we did that one okay now before we do anything else over here what we’re going to do is just bring this one all the way across this is that far wall right so this is the front that’s the back and then what we’re going to do is actually Bring these going all the way across as well we’re going to end up taking out the center so just give it a second okay we’re going to take out the center blocks but let’s connect them first and then we got to find that center block so one two three Four five six seven so it’s that fourth one over one two three four go straight up and this is the center right here we’re going to do polished black stone slab chiseled polished black stone the slab again break that we go slab slab polish black stone or whatever chisel polish black stone Then we go slab break that slab slam again pilot chisel polish backstone and then slap so if you’re looking at it from the top it has this kind of effect to it which i absolutely love okay then we’re going to get rid of the chains right now so you can get those Out of your inventory we go one two three okay and then same thing with the uh soul lanterns we’re going to get those out you can use regular lanterns if you don’t have solo lanterns that’s fine but i do suggest getting these because obviously they go with the room having Trouble uh lining up there we go okay so now that we got that done we can come in here and we can kind of work on uh this we’re going to take our polished blacks on stairs okay put it there and there and then you have the two water buckets Just make an infinite water source again if you’re building this in the nether um you can just i don’t know you can either put it like this you can do more of the polished black stone slab you can put that there and then you’ll kind of be done but for everybody else You just do the water right there and there okay so you’re gonna do this on this these two and then this side obviously not that back one because we’re gonna put something else there okay let’s finish off this back over here so we’re gonna take our polished basalt And we’re actually just gonna come across with it like so okay just like that and then we’re gonna take our soul sand and we’re gonna put it right here so break that i don’t know about visual glitches that’s kind of annoying then we’re going to put our nether wart Then we’re going to go the black above put more soul sand and then another wart can go just like that i was going to do an automated one but that’s just there’s too much redstone there’s no need there’s no need to have all of that in here okay now we’re Going to do the chests and we’re going to do the sections with the potion so we’re going to put you come to where your water is that center block put a chest there you put a hopper on top you take a brewing stand you put it on top of that hopper You go to the right of this hopper right here you put a redstone lamp i’ll explain that in a second what that is with a lever make sure you turn it on okay and then above here is going to be something else which we’ll do in a second okay but for now We’ll keep it like this do this all the way around okay so once that’s done it should look exactly like this now why do we have this here we have this here simply to lock this hopper because basically if you put water bottles in right now empty water bottles and This was not on this was off they would just fall right through nothing would happen the reason i have this is just so you can run by really quickly and just flick whenever the potions are done and now all the potions will be auto collected Now you do have to fill it uh and then you can just go back and go like this um you do have to refill it manually with water i just didn’t have enough space and i tried a couple different ways but it just did not look good The way i wanted to do it for the water bottles so i don’t i don’t have a spot to simply throw water bottles in there uh right now because there’s just there’s a lot of redstone that would have had to happen like you could put a hopper behind this one into it Then going this way and then here and put a chest here but it’s just it looked ugly and i didn’t like it so for now once they’re empty you’d come in here manually you’d throw three bottles and uh yeah then then you could do it okay anyway Let’s go to the top so what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna come up here okay and we’re gonna go one hopper down into the brewing stand one hopper going into that one one hopper going into that one okay before we go any further what we’re gonna do Is we’re gonna take our polished blackstone stairs that’s the ones i used and we’re gonna go upside down right here right with our with our stairs right in these corners right here just like that i also did it on the bottom so before you do that just put these chiseled Polished black stones blocks right there and then you can go ahead and put your stairs on top that’ll make sense in a second once we actually uh start doing the floor as to why the chisel blocks are here not just like you know regular blocks oops Okay so you want to have it just like that and the reason we want to have it like that is because now we’re going to come back up and we’re going to put down we’re gonna do two things actually where are here we go here’s our droppers So we’re gonna take our droppers and we’re simply gonna face them backwards one two three so that way they face into these but then we’re going to take our trap you can actually use regular trapdoors for these you don’t necessarily need warped i just i’m sticking with the theme okay So if you’re staring at it this way you’re going to turn on this far left one you’re going to crouch jump place a trapdoor open it up this way crouch uh jump place the trapdoor and open it up so that way each of the items fire into their own hoppers Okay do that for all the remaining five chambers okay now back inside really quick you can see how it looks we can go ahead and put a button on that middle one the middle one will activate uh the other ones when pressed okay and we’ll talk about like direction and Stuff like that once i get in here once we come back down but let’s go back up to the top we’re gonna start on this left one doesn’t matter because we’re all gonna be the same okay so this is the main door look to your left we’re gonna go on top of this Okay now what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna go one two three four and five right there these two are necessary for the look you’re gonna see those uh these three right here are necessary so the items don’t fire out okay so now now that we have that done We’re gonna come up here we’re going to go whoops one two three four on that on the top part of the basalt one two three four we’re gonna take our polished blackstone bricks okay and what we’re going to do is right here we’re going to put one there And then the rest of these are going to be on the top so one two three just like so so when we’re looking at it inside that is how it’s going to look okay and you’re going to do that on on all of this side and then turn around and do The exact same thing on this side okay now back inside you should have it looking like this at the moment and all we’re going to do is see where these the bricks kind of meet up they change direction we’re going to put the the polished black stone stairs Right there that adds yet another texture and another kind of dimension to it okay so i really like the way this looks now what we’re going to do is we’re going to take our warped trap doors okay you’re going to crouch place them on these hoppers right here okay just like so Uh we can do it on this side as well and then we’re gonna do a little decoration on the uh the walls here or the pillars here so keeping in line with these right here okay with the uh what are they called the brewing stands we’re gonna go right here Right here i should say on this blue and we’re gonna go one there and one there just like that and then for this one it’s going to be not this pillar but above this one right there and right there okay can you kind of see where those are So for this one it’s not above this it’s about this here and then where the pillar is where the brewing stand goes like here and here okay so it looks just like that and then we’re going to do the same thing on this side so again keeping in line with the brewing stand And the blue here go there there and then we go there there oops there there and there and oops there so i think that looks so much better with those trapdoors i think they’re definitely needed and now we are going to uh do the floor but before we do that let’s Let’s just connect this right here okay just connect these going just like that and for the rest of the outliner here if you had to outline down you could just break that that was just so when we built it it was kind of a guide for you So you can just go ahead and replace this with whatever your whatever your ground block is for for your base okay now the rest of the floor is kind of easy all we’re going to do is we’re going to break these okay just like so yeah let the water Drip it doesn’t really matter we’re going to we’re going to take care of that in a second anyway because you’re just going to kind of outline going all the way around just as i’m doing here like so okay and you’re gonna leave this little spot you’ll see it you’ll see how it looks When we uh when we start doing it it’ll be a lot easier once i’m placing the blocks to really to really see okay just like that cool now we can start placing the blocks down so you’re just going to go all the way across like so Okay and actually what i ended up doing for the for this right here we can take the um The stream lights so right where the chest is and the water comes out you’re gonna put a shroom light there or whatever light you have and just go around it like that that’s just to give some extra light in this room i think it’ll be fine anyway but you know you never You never have too much light okay we’re gonna do the same thing for the center piece right here so find that center so it’s that what is that fourth block over one two three four break that down put a shroom light and then cover it With the slab okay so again all of these center blocks can be whatever light block you have doesn’t matter glowstone whatever whatever you want okay then we’re going to come all the way around and again this center one right i believe it’s here yeah looks good we can cover that just like so Okay cool now go ahead and break the rest of this floor okay go break the rest of this floor and uh break it uh one more down after this okay so now that you have the floor looking like this we’re going to take our polished black stone bricks okay we’re going to Come all the way around with it even in those little spots right there we’re just going to do a like an outline with it okay so just put them in those spots just like that cool now we’re going to take our polish basalt and we’re going to come straight Across with it like so and then we’re going to go skip a space go over just like that same thing on the end we’re going to skip one go over with it like that and then we’re just going to half this so one two three four right like That okay then we’re going to take our warped nylium which i think looks really good on the floor here and we’re going to put it there just like that okay and then in the centers here the center right here we can go again facing up with your barrel i like Them up you can put them however you like i guess okay and then we’re going to have one i will do it item frames for all of them but we’re going to have one item from here that could be for bottles or empty bottles this one could be for water bottles And then this one right here could be for which i’m gonna i have it in the in the uh items it could be for blaze powder because you’re gonna need blades powder everything right so fill that up with blaze powder that’s just some extra stuff okay on top of the first Or the one and the the back one we’re going to do pickles again these are going to be candles once the candles come out but for now i think pickles are kind of cool they do kind of look like candles and then for this one right here in the Middle with the blaze powder we’re going to put a brewing stand on top of it that’s an extra one in case you know in case you want to just do something else quick that’s not in any of these three we’re going to take our cauldrons and they’re going to go in these little Spots right oops right here now what you do with these is you fill them with the potions that are behind so as you make them you take your bottles you fill them up here and then these where you keep your extra bottles so you can just grab an empty bottle right from here Run here take the potions that you want very quickly just another element to add okay and then you would put your signs as to whatever they are right right on it so you just run around you put your signs on it like so okay and then Uh everybody be able to see very quickly just because a lot of people don’t don’t know what potions they are just by the color okay then we’re going to take again we’re going to take our item frames and we’re going to run the three item frames right here One well not there i mean i guess you could put it there if you want one two three one two three you guys get the idea and the way it’s going to work is this the middle one okay the middle one is going to be For uh for this right here okay so the middle the middle one is going to be which i forgot the name of at the moment the netherward i do that all the time uh so the middle one the middle one is going to be for you another work because That once you press that button that’s the first one that’s going to get fired now for me the left one always goes first after that so this would be your first ingredient right the middle one which would be the netherroot or the netherwart the second one would be whatever the Next ingredient is so if you wanted to do potion of healing it would be glistering melon right if you wanted to do potion of water breathing it would be the puffer fish and then this third one right here on the right would be a modifier if you Wanted a modifier you don’t even need to use it but if you wanted to extend it uh you know if you wanted to make it twice the stronger you could put either the redstone or the glowstone dust here and then you can have this for like splash potions so you can keep Gun powder in this one and then you take the potions as you need them run them through here for uh for some splash potion so you could totally do that okay let’s come over here to crimson trap doors and let’s just put them on really quick and then we could run through it Just like so and there you go that’s it that’s the whole farm right oh and then one more actually we had to put the item frames on here so you don’t have to but i like to always put whatever the potion is so besides having the potion name here i Also like to have the potion bottle itself there i think you can see the final product i think it looks i think it looks really good that way right so you got all the ingredients see these are the modifiers i’m talking about right it’s a potion of harming or not Harming what is it strength potion yeah strength potion sorry you got regen potion fire resistance uh water breathing potion but notice all the ingredients are always alive even if i turn it i thought it was going to be different based on the side so i have it This way when i turn it this way it’s for some reason it’s the same thing it’s on the left which was weird to me okay and then so this is how it’s going to possibly look i don’t know if you can do this on java but this is bedrock tutorial anyway right So that’s the this is what the final product could end up looking like that’s going to do for me i hope you guys like this captain obvi is out peace Video Information
