100 Days – [Africa Minecraft]

Africa am i right name one place more deadly than an african safari okay i can think of several but name one place more deadly in the southern east northwestern part of africa than that of minecraft this place is crazy you got poisonous snakes scorpions giraffes okay well

Giraffes aren’t that deadly but look at those dope necks i could climb that thing elephants rhinoceroses these hilarious unicorn style horns and don’t even get me started on the tigers oh man not only are these guys so fast that they can chase you down at a full-on

Sprint but if you’re not careful they’ll sneak up on you without making a sound and then pounce oh yeah and did i mention the tribes check out this fatso now this ain’t your average sumo wrestler this bad boy can summon in these masked nerds that smack you around

With bones and then this madman starts shooting sun beams at you like how the heck am i supposed to defeat that anyway i’m going to survive here for 100 days and establish my dominance my goals are to become a world-class zookeeper aka i want to capture as many dope animals as

See the water this beach is huge though oh no no no i’m out of water i’m gonna start dying now oh i might not make it in time i’m dying of heat and i’m dying of thirst oh man i think i’m just gonna barely make it oh i’m super i’m so close my

Iron oh look at that yes oh man that was insane there were a lot of these stones in the ground that were absolutely filled to the brim with iron ore i might have a good chunk in one of these bad boys before deciding to set up

Shop my mine down a little bit because well honestly i have no clue why i did shut up keep watching i spotted down a first and a crafting bench and was feeling pretty good later that day i killed a fish and it dropped a goldfish egg i don’t know if there’s anything

Useful i can do with it but i’ll keep it just in case i spent that night slashing these numbnuts until early morning i started off day two with an early morning beach walk i remembered my goldfish egg and smacked it right into the furnace nothing better than a good

Old-fashioned omelette in the morning am i right this green nerd tried to sneak up on me and blow up my house he completed one of the two things but i’ll let you decide which after going on a murderous rampage to rid the world of those nasty poachers i realize that they actually bring

Something useful to the table literally they dropped food for me to eat which is just a little better than my current rotten flesh so with that in mind from now on i only killed them for the food and not for extinction i traveled back into the savannah grasslands and found a

Group of well um nerds what are you oh are you attacking me ow he just smacked me with this bone okay that’s a little bit rude not gonna lie i don’t know why there’s just a group of bandits running after me and they’re very hostile and they just have bones wow

Dang they do so much damage holy cow about two hearts oh man i gotta say i did not expect these little dudes to be hostile i have no idea what they have against me i quickly ran back into my house named dwayne johnson and shut the door

From there i was able to spleef out the floor and strike their ankles without them shooting a single blow dart at me i was running low on food and i can’t say i love the taste of rotten flesh in my mouth so i went out hunting to kill

Literally anything i could find this oasis was pretty good but i knew there was a bigger one up north so i began the climb on the way i found a stray sheep and stuck him in a hole i spent that night down in the sheephole until i

Realized i could easily just shear the sheep and make a bed out of the wool so i sheared the sheep and made a bat out of the wool oh wow look at all those achievements the next day i continued my travel to the larger oasis after cleaning up a few

Unwanted aka defending myself from a baby zombie with an iron sword and ruthlessly murdering a bear which now that i think about it i don’t think bears are in africa okay so you know how i combine a buttload of mods that add all kinds of features and animals and the one that

Adds poachers as well well apparently one of the mods that adds a bunch of the animals doesn’t have a feature that allows you to disable some of the animals so there are mobs here like raccoons and kangaroos that should definitely not live in africa so let’s

Just say there used to be a zoo here and the animals broke loose okay i think that sounds like an okay excuse anyway back to surviving oh man there’s a pack of lions up there oh wow okay okay they do a lot of damage oh man no no no he’s running after me

All right he left me alone oh wow okay i gotta steer clear of these guys this is harder than the post-apocalyptic wasteland that i survived in the heck um that thing is tiny is that a lizard a gecko or something oh you dropped it ah what the heck was that oh snap is

That a koala bear i i don’t think those are in africa i’m pretty sure and now he’s spinning what are you doing there is something serious with arm huh are you okay what the heck is that what am i looking at you know maybe i’ll maybe i’ll just stay away from those

Things yep i think i’m good okay bye a few minutes later a desert appeared and check it out it’s a straight up pyramid right there let’s go in it all right i’m going in that thing this is uh quite the entrance not gonna lie all right i kind of like it oh

I’ll go forward okay weird blocked off this is very spooky this is this is reminding me a lot of the temples in the wasteland that i survived anything down here wait what uh all right and what the heck okay there’s like an unlit nether portal a staircase with obsidian all around it

And it leads to here you know what i you know i’m good i think i’m just gonna leave this whole place i i want nothing to do with this yeah i’m out i came out just in time to catch a beautiful sunset ah i still

Needed to get to the larger oasis and i knew that it linked up to the one that i was already at so i figured i could get there by boat and save both time and food however even in a boat you get hungry and i only had five rotten flesh

Left in my inventory i got back up on land in hopes of finding something to eat but instead i found something quite the opposite oh wait is that a village oh i think that might be like an african village oh that’s so cool oh maybe i can get some sweet lou from trading

Copied the water bucket hopped in my boat and sailed across the oasis at this point i realized that i had way too many items in my inventory i crafted myself a nice chest locked it down and filled it to the brim with items after that i made

Cannot live without food anyway i headed over to the grasslands to grab some dirt for my farm i ended up getting about 46 dirt and built my farm i used the bones i had gathered from the fossil earlier to make bone mail and grow up my crops

As fast as humanly possible this allowed me to enlarge my farm without having to wait around once that was finished i instantly began work on my next project an elephant farm or well some kind of farm i don’t know it depends on what kind of animal i find i guess will you

Take the wheat mr elephant no how about you sir unfortunately the elephants didn’t like the wheat i brought them so i took a nap and woke up on day 7 to speed grow my farm i then used the leftover wheat to cook up some nice fresh bread i still needed animals for

My pen so i went up to the savannah again all right come here ryan oh wait can i feed you oh i can’t feed the tiger how about the rhino oh man oh snap oh man i don’t know how i didn’t see that coming of course of course they’re gonna

Sheep just chilling atop this hill so i begin luring them back to my hut on the way down this idiot started blasting me with his rifle so i took him downtown to chinatown ha die idiot oh man okay everybody’s doing way too much damage i’m just gonna leave you know

I’ll just leave my sheep to die it doesn’t matter my life’s more important i don’t want to kill a sheep though he can’t kill the sheep oh man i don’t know what i’m supposed to do every time i spend even like a minute out in the grasslands one of these

Poachers finds me and starts sniping me each bullet does like three hearts and these guys have aimbot i started out day eight by murdering as many of these numbnuts as i could once i had cleared the pathway i was able to finally bring these nerds back to safety wait where

Did the rest of them go i started out with a whole hoard of sheep and by the time i made it to the bottom there were only two left meh whatever i only need two nerds anyway i slapped them down into their pen and came to a sudden realization

Oh wait hold on these poachers are always killing animals so they could probably just shoot over the fence and kill my sheep at first i wasn’t sure what to do but i thought maybe if i make the fence taller the poachers wouldn’t be able to shoot at the sheep so i

Grabbed my trusty axe and chopped down a savannah oh man look at all these poachers oh man you just hit me oh man they’re hitting me a lot okay one’s dead they do not have very much health at all but they are still sniping me get out of here dude

Use this saddle to ride one of these exotic animals once on the other side i got curious to see what was around this side of the oasis as i haven’t really explored at all i ran around for a while found a few wild animals and got chased

Home by an angry gang of wootenies all right day 10 double digits let’s go i started today off harvesting my week i still don’t have much food so i needed to do this as often as i could oh yeah i also discovered that i could potentially craft tiger armor just think about how

Cool that would be running around in a full-on tiger costume just imagine i wanted to put my saddle to good use so i walked about to and fro until i stumbled across this bad boy let’s see this guy is kind of a nerd so i rode around on nerd for a while and

Day 11 i found a wall and then started getting lasered out of the sky by this fat nerd i’m definitely gonna have to kill this idiot at some point eventually i ran straight into a red desert this thing is red i spent the better part of

The day in the red sand biome but eventually i made the other side and found yet another oasis i think this one is the same oasis that connects to the first one i was ever at i crossed it and on the other side was a desert cacti

City there was a small mine shaft opening on the surface of the grasslands that looked like it was abandoned years ago what do we have here oh this looks like a mine shaft all right nerd i’m going in alright we got a chest iron pick nice

A couple of name tags not bad not bad uh bane of arthropods one that is trash but you know whatever and another iron pick i’ll take the iron picks i then found a meter that looks like it fell pretty recently maybe i came here right after a meteor shower who knows a little

Later i noticed something far off in the distance so i got closer to see what it was and still couldn’t tell sort of looks like a giant gear or something really strange i started off the next day fighting off the birds that wouldn’t stop annoying me i felt pretty satisfied

With this expedition now i know about all the land around me so i began heading back to my base i stopped at a few rest stops on the way including smacking this cheetah in the face i kind of regret it kind of anyway i made it back home by the evening

Wait is that guy how does he still see me i’ve been running for him for like two years oh man he is so fast if i wasn’t on this horse i’d be completely dead he might even be as fast as this horse oh what am i supposed to do in

Here now that he’s busy wow that was really close now that i was back at my base i decided to up the aesthetics of my wheat farm by placing acacia logs around the edges of the dirt much better hey what’s popping rhino how’s ow what the heck

Holy since one of my biggest goals in these 100 days that i have here is to become a world-class zoo keeper i decided to start right away with the zoo but first i needed supplies so i chopped down every savannah tree in sight i was going to need a ton of iron for

This zoo so i started to mine all the way down to y level 12. and by the evening of day 13 i had already begun work on the structure of the cages the next morning i was still working hard but i ran out of iron so i went down to

The mine and swung my pickaxe from side to side until i had what i thought would be enough iron for the rest of day 14 and the better half of day 15 i stripped mine for iron also you may have noticed that now i don’t have a thirst meter or

Temperature gauge this is because the mod was actually just more annoying and it didn’t really add anything to the experience so i just removed it once leaving the mine i still was in desperate need of acacia logs so i made an iron picks and chopped down probably

A hundred trees over the next two days day 17 this is the day that i finally started an actual abode for myself however i wasn’t just going to make a plain old lamo average house no way jose i made this bad boy to match the surrounding african terrain at least

I think i did i don’t know i just made it because it’s a completely different style from most houses but hey i think it’s swell check this out i found a sleeping buffalo or i think it’s a buffalo i’m not really sure all i know for sure is

To say this but it took me like 10 days to realize that the sheep in my pen had no grass to eat so they couldn’t grow back their wool 10 days yeah i’m an idiot i added some storage to my base because well it’s a base what else am i

Supposed to do with it i then rode around killed some sheep and pigs fell in a hole with a helpless elephant and chopped down a few more trees so i could continue work on the zoo i did not realize how much iron this project would

Take me i made stacks of iron bars for my zoo and it still ended up not even being close to enough i took down a large rock on the beach found a uh a hog or something gathered an armload of dirt and began work on the first cage

I think this one will be an elephant cage or maybe a tiger i don’t know anyway i basically just added some dirt and stone in order to make it look natural i wanted the zoo to look polished yet still fit the mood of an african plane so i worked on the style

Of the structure for the rest of the day and far into day 21 suddenly i realized that the zoo had the opposite palette than my house the zoo’s walls were wood and the roof was going to be cobblestone but my house’s walls were cobblestone while the roof was wood i couldn’t keep

Working on the zoo because it just didn’t match at all so i tore the whole thing down and while rebuilding it i ran out of cobbles so i stripped mine for the rest of the day okay so this is really sad but for some reason on day 23

My computer crashed while recording and the world saved but the recording didn’t so i can’t show you what i did but basically all that happened was i finished building the zoo i had all the cages and everything ready now all i need to do is capture some animals in

Order to tame animals i need something called kibble i can use different types of kibble to tame different types of animals anyway one of the key ingredients in kibble is apples so i went out to destroy every oak tree i could find however after a few days of

Doing this i had only a few apples so i went out adventuring hoping to find more somehow i don’t know i made it to the first oasis that i found and crossed it to get to the desert after quite a lot of exploring i found this very odd

Structure sort of a tower with a ladder in it i climbed the ladder and checked this out tons of wheat and carrots and most importantly apples this was insane like what are the odds of this now that i had all i needed to create the world’s

Most incredible zoo i decided to use the daylight to journey back to my home this involved a lot of smacking my horse in the buns as to cross the oasis oh by the way this is what the zoo looks like now that i changed the walls and added a

Roof anyway i went in my thing made the stuff found the guy and realized that i had made the wrong kind of kibble i hate my life oh oh man wow okay these elephants are mean he just smacked me up in the air uh okay so he doesn’t want this he doesn’t

Want this ungulate kibble all right then i crafted up the correct kibble and fed it to this idiot and he still didn’t love me so i made even more and now finally after giving him like a million kibble he finally will be my friend and as my friend he gets the privilege of

Being locked up in a cage for the rest of his life i tried pushing him into the cage but it was way too slow and the zoo was way too far so i went back to my house to make a leap however i didn’t have quite enough string to do so so for

The rest of day 27 i farmed once the moon came out i knew spiders would spawn and i could kill them for string ha die little guy and what the heck is that that that looks like a like an ogre that’s what i’m gonna call him i think he’s an

Ogre two heads green and very angry sounds kinda like the hulk actually i’m gonna i’m gonna fight this i’m gonna fight this ogre thing he’s probably gonna drop some like overpowered weapon okay he doesn’t do that much damage but he can hit me from pretty far away oh what was that

What the heck did he just do he’s smashing the ground there’s a mummy after me huh what why are there mommies here and ogres this doesn’t make any sense this is africa not oh man i’m dead it’s like an armored skeleton and all he did was drop a single bone are you

Kidding me all right i have to kill this ogre i’m not giving up on him you’re dead that’s pretty easy and he dropped literally nothing by the morning i was able to make a lead so i hooked it around the elephant’s tusks and walked it to the zoo alright buddy this is your

Brand new home how do you like it all right got my first animal in the zoo let’s go oh what what the heck he’s dying is he suffocating i don’t know he’s dying somehow i gotta get him out of there he might be stuff kidding because like he’s

On the bones is his head stealing no he’s still dying uh i i don’t know what to do what am i supposed to do here how is he still dying he doesn’t okay he doesn’t need water oh i can put a saddle on him that looks

Really cool but why is he still dying okay the saddle thing’s great but look at that he’s down all the way 10 hearts already okay i’m just gonna put him back where i found him where he wasn’t dying okay he’s still dying here i’m gonna bring him to the oasis i guess i

Seriously had no clue what was killing mr elephant hopefully it’s not depressed anyway i researched the mod and still found nothing but i still kept trying everything i could think of to save him on day 30 he was still dying so i started to believe maybe this is just

The constant state of this big guy he will always be in pain i guess maybe he’ll never die maybe he’ll just be in pain his whole life that’s not so bad oh he’s dead died of depression what um maybe i shouldn’t have captured this guy okay so after a little more research

Apparently when you tame an animal you have to take care of it who would have thought i have to provide food water and an enrichment item to keep the animal alive what a scam elephants need enrichment balls so i was about to craft one up when i realized i needed lapis so

I went down to the mine again to get some day 31 i furnished up the elephant’s room with a food barrel and hung his ball from the ceiling since the last elephant died i had to go find another for some reason it took me an entire day to find another elephant

But after examining many other creatures i finally found one and let me just say this guy is crazy speedy like you thought horses were fast you thought elytra was fast you thought lamborghinis were fast all these combined aren’t even a tenth of the speed of this bad boy his

Name is fred anyway i stuck fred in the cage and put a sign up so that everyone can stare at him suck it fred as of now i only had one animal in my zoo so technically it’s not even a zoo clearly i needed more but there are

Animals which i can’t even tame so i had to go to drastic measures to capture them i crafted a few tranquilizing darts and a tranquilizer and grabbed my animal net soon i was on the hunt for a black rhino and gotcha let’s go oh i’m putting the other one to sleep

Please attack me boom sleepy time nice i captured him and took the rhino back to the zoo where he will live a happy life stuck in a cage forever i’m so evil i built a comfy cage for him and plopped him right down in the center of

It according to the data book black rhinos stay happy with something called scratching posts so i made one and placed it right next to him instantly on day 34 i trimmed my sheep supply down a notch because i was feeling a little skinny i then crafted ungulate kibble in

Order to tame a giraffe i didn’t want to tranquilize it because i wanted to see if i could ride one just think about how cool i’d look riding on one of those long necked nerds soon i found myself a giraffe hello mr giraffey oh it says he’s not ridable that’s

Unfortunate well i’m gonna grab you anyway and that is a zebra right there let’s go i woke up on day 35 and the zebra was dead oh i guess he was just asleep never mind i went to the zoo and checked up on my giraffe and he was looking a little

Sad and right then i realized i didn’t have any food for him at all so i hurried back to my house to craft him a barrel that he could eat out of i also made an enrichment ball so he wouldn’t die of depression like my elephant did

Rest in peace elephant numero one anyway i put the things in the place and the stuff and the thing i ran around collecting leaves because apparently a giraffe’s entire diet consists of every variety of leaks i remembered how fast my last elephant was the one that died

Of depression and really wanted to find another one that i could keep as a vehicle so i went out and found one in a hole works for me i rode jeff back oh yeah his name’s jeff by the way made a little pen for him to

Vibe and hung his ball from the sky and put a zebra in there as well then i ran back to the zoo and put a sign up for the draft i still had four empty cages in the zoo so i went out to find a tiger ten seconds later i found one and

Tranquilized it unfortunately this nerd is far too powerful to be bamboozled by a simple sleepy dart so i conceived a new plan okay come on come on okay yeah stupid tiger i got the tiger and gave him his own personal sign since the zoo took so many iron bars i was completely

Bone dry on iron so i sailed across the oasis river and mined out as many of these iron rocks as i could find on the beach oh yeah i also killed a macaw um the next day i was still on the other side of the oasis and since i was

Already there i thought i might as well explore i found more routines after slicing one in the back another one tagged me with a poison dart but i was able to get away i then found a line doing um that but check out these guys instead okay it’s these guys again i’m

Gonna try hitting him and okay i don’t know how much damage he does i’m just blocking everything i oh i was blocking that and he launched me okay it’s fine if i get enough on him and 10 saplings what that night i was still stranded on the wrong side of the

Oasis so i decided to murder as many mobs as i could also i needed a lot of gunpowder for something in the near future check this guy out i think he’s a scorpion anyway i killed him and got this epic scorpion stinger in the morning i ran into some jaguars and i

Was ready to capture them for my zoo but after looking in the data book i realized that jaguars live in south america not africa so uh just pretend you don’t see them okay please oh also i found a horse with wings yep i bet you didn’t know that the

Horses in africa have wings i sailed back to my house smelted the iron ore and crafted up a few bullets with my newly constructed rifle and bullets i went out hunting i had very specific prey in mind fatso or whatever his name is i don’t really know all right time to die idiot
