hardcore mode turned on once a player dies they die permanently in this ultimate trial minecraft social Experiments presents to you our first video to answer this one question how do players act during an apocalypse We started by splitting the hundred players up into four random groups of 25 and gave them code names each team was given their own unique biome in one of the four corners of the map each biome had its own strengths and weaknesses team c for cheddar was given the mesa Biome of the southwest here they were surrounded by natural mountains and basins protecting them from invaders they founded their new nation as direct democracy and immediately elected player grave the ghoul president cool are you the elected leader here yes yes that’s all right you got any plans for the future Our main plan is mostly to be past this we don’t want to attack anyone we just want to hunker down and build our bunker we might make an alliance but that’s only if they reach out to us we don’t actually plan to reach out to anyone else team e for egg Was given the southeast corner in a lush and mountainous plain zone they’ve already griefed their uh three of their beds that i gave them even though team eggs spawn in arguably the most beautiful part of the map they ditched it all and decided to set up Their base in the side of a mountain nearby proving just how mentally capable team egg really was damon’s down here you guys got a you guys got a sick little base going on here i love it queen yet where’s the egg queen when i visited team egg spawn for the second Time i learned that they had already chosen their form of government monarchy and had already elected an egg queen her name was natella and she was in her own voice channel with no one in it i tried speaking to her your highness you there how did you get elected you’re not even Talking after not having enough royal favor to have a conversation with the egg queen i decided to check up on the other teams who weren’t as organized team b or bread spawned in the cold winter mountains of the northeast here ore was plentiful and the natural caves surrounding their territory were great For building but wooden food was hard to come by you guys got any uh you guys got any long-term plans yes team bread just randomly decided at the start that they would set their sights on destroying team egg and to be honest i have no idea why they just seem very Anxious to murder our biggest goal is to kill the entirety of team egg that and they officially set their national anthem to the humpty dumpty theme song team bread decided to create a communist utopia and made compulsory bread farming a necessity to keep living team a or alfalfa was given the vast northwest Mushroom biome here mobs didn’t spawn and there was plenty of food to eat in the form of mushrooms when asked about their future plans alfalfa said what are you guys plans do you have any long-term goals we are going to win at the time of my first visit team Alfalfa was an anarchist nation without a leader due to a lack of wars in their mushroom kingdom they didn’t have time to focus on politics and instead were focused on grinding for materials in hopes of survival now that every civilization had settled in and found their bearings it was time To give them a clue about the purpose of the experiment each team was given a vague and mysterious warning something was coming to destroy their civilizations and they must prepare this is an event there’s something that’s going to happen um i would recommend you to build a stronghold or something very defendable Now it was up to the players to decide their fate each civilization had to come up with a plan on how to survive this unknown threat Immediately civilization started working amongst themselves to come up with the best way to defend their people some teams started harvesting obsidian to construct fortified walls team cheddar started a diplomacy mission to ally with team egg team brett even sent a scout across the map to try and discover team egg’s location Because the teams only knew that something was coming for them but didn’t know what kind of threat it was they all prepared their defenses in different ways hoping to be right most civilizations even began plotting designs on how to escape their bases during an emergency especially team alfalfa Alfalfa struggled early game to organize but was catching up to the other teams by mid game by election or just by default they had nominated leader trill tricks to manage their plans as they had mixed goals hey gamers you guys got a mooshroom and a boat you got the tree room Trail tricks tells us what to do trail tricks what’s your plan for survival invest in nfts buy it all right it’s your job all right trail tricks how are you going to survive so currently invest in nft trying to gather food resources we have three dedicated teams we’re trying to be able To sustain ourselves underground because we feel that underground may end up being safer than the overworld yeah that makes sense under trail tricks’s leadership team alfalfa started growing more powerful and they started focusing more on their escape plans there’s a lot of gravel here basically we are a bit Concerned about the safety of our base so if anyone was to mine into our base we basically are wrapped around here with our own stuff yeah we’re making an escape route so that if things go south we go north during the mid game team chatter shined through their building Projects they started construction on a main fortress on top of the big plateau near their spawn by using their biomes biggest strength of rough terrain this gave them a considerable defensive advantage it was also at this point in the game that i revealed to each team The existence of the gods of the world and if they were to make a sacrifice or a shrine to these gods they would be rewarded the gods were there they were just the admins there’s there’s religion here if you make an offering if you build an Offering i might i might i might bless you i might bless you so cool i’ll see you guys dude they were so excited dude yeah they went yo are these guys making gondor or something what’s this bridge for all right it’s going to be the altar what does it say Cheddar cheddar on top j stands for jesus i love it cheddar even considered using human sacrifice as a means to appease their gods they had an issue with choosing who they would sacrifice but after a younger member of the team failed to safely escort a pack of llamas To base they made their decision start of interest who was the he was the kid who tried to bring the llamas back sacrifice eventually president grave the ghoul caught wind of the idea and made the executive action to outlaw human sacrifice saving the young member and securing a victory for human rights for His people it could have been a good deal for you too bad meanwhile team bread true to their communist nature began developing propaganda as a means to unify their team against what you ask i see i see you guys are a fan of brexit here you got a little message in the sky Subliminal messages baby during my visit to bread’s base i noticed that they had made a grave for one of their most influential players that had just died tl takeover various members were congregating around the grave to pay their respects i joined in what’s what’s this cross is it He’s playing his respects i’m paying my respects here guys i’m sorry he’s giving us a flower take it take here we can use it for pollen yeah yeah this is where it all happened he was placing a sign i came over and took them to use them for my own project and i Went up the water and he kept going up the stairwell and then he got halfway up and fell off the stairwell and died okay science back but the last quote was give me my nope science planet and then ah from the chat for some reason i had a sneaking suspicion team bread was Planning to go raid team egg as they had mentioned in the beginning they thought it would be an easy fight when are we allowed to go gaming on the other players basically when other people are ready to that makes it a fair fight that isn’t bad that’s not good However team bread was unaware of team eggs progression who during the mid game became the wealthiest team in the entire event due to their hard work and organizational skills under their queen t-meg had taken their offering to the gods very seriously and created an entire temple dedicated to one of our Admins jinxex wow this is a really beautiful thing that team egg did oh my god jinx your shrine is ready hello wow this is pretty impressive jinx what do you mean have you been inside oh wow you guys got a lot of good And you’ll be given five saddles every team that created an offering was gifted horses and saddles with the exception of team bread who didn’t make an offering to the gods and team alfalfa let’s see the tree room bro you still don’t have trees listen it’s still a tree i i like this offering I’m going to consume it hey can we get the other side music disc oh yeah i want a music just fine here we go guys overall the mid game of the experiment was defined by the player’s isolationist behavior fearing death before the doom and losing their chance to defend their nation Most players refused to take risks and instead stayed put and built up their territory however by the end of the mid game most of the teams had enough gear to explore the map safely this began a new era what i called the age of foreign policy with the majority of all players Surviving to the last days before doom and with national tensions on the rise the global stage was set for diplomacy and for war little did they know none of it would matter in the end let’s see what they did team eggs emissary chewy mustard128 who had been waiting in the middle of the Ocean for four in-game days in the same exact spot for an appointment with president grave the ghoul finally engaged in diplomacy with team cheddar however president grave didn’t come himself and instead sent to representative as he was too busy you guys doing out here in the middle of The ocean negotiating with with team uh cheddar i have i have i have some bodyguards uh nearby but out of sight are you trying to get an alliance or are you just trying to like sniff them out uh if they say they want an alliance and They’re not too sneaky not to stuss as the kids say then they might join an alliance but right now more just trying to sniff them out see if they are ahead of us or behind us yeah we’ll see if how that goes however team egg was beginning To grow very paranoid we kind of think someone’s hacking someone might be hacking take a shrine take the shrine take the shrine guys just keep your eyes on him so paranoid that they forgot about their fellow team egg member in emissary chewy mustard and his lifelong mission to Create an alliance with team cheddar your eyes on him who is chewie mustard one two eight who is chewy mustard128 no we don’t know who he is he’s a delegate for the thing is he knows we don’t know who he is he’s talking on his own but it didn’t stop there Team bread scout had successfully managed to locate team eggs base the clock was ticking for team egg and they knew it but it was already too late right before negotiations between team cheddar and team egg were about to begin the fighting forces of team bread had already mobilized and had made it to Team eggs base this was war broda’s attacking gag right now it’s not our team sure yes it definitely isn’t our team team egg was woefully unprepared for a surprise attack unfortunately for them they had recently sent out multiple scouts into the world leaving them severely undermanned in a desperate plea team egg recalled All of their scouts back to their base hoping they could flank the communist bread invaders base is literally being stormed by like 10 people join general one right now however in an unfortunate twist of fate the scouts had traveled too far to make it back in time Okay exploration team is gonna need to stay on their channel for a while anyone who is close to the base we need the back it was do or die for tmeg even though they were the richest team and still outnumbered the invading force with their current players the members of Team bread had superior pvp skills and had spent most of their resources preparing for this very moment citizens that had suitable armor and weaponry rushed to prepare themselves for a fight while citizens with worse combat gear like unenchanted iron began draining their kingdom storage chests and retreating up the mountain Finally they met for battle Almost immediately team egg began losing the battle causing most of their forces to retreat out of caution only the most brave eggers were left to take on team bread while one player kiwi star fruit yt began taking on multiple communists at once another citizen of the egg empire xgin123 Fought tooth and nail for his home however they were no match to bread superior gear weaponry and determination eventually team egg stronghold was lost with team bread claiming a decisive victory over team ag and seizing their seat of power xgin123 paid the ultimate price for his bravery and died fighting after the fall Of his people without their home base team egg was entirely scattered making team bread the richest and most powerful nation on the server and absorbing eggs territory into their own country while team egg was struggling to recuperate their losses team bread was partaking in the spoils of war stealing Eggs last horse after killing its owner leek was here and destroying team egg shrine to the gods a final insult to their nemesis since day one Right after the bread egg war concluded an ominous message was sent in the chat alluding to a meteor the players started panicking and began enacting their defensive plans however no one knew what it was which led to teams arguing over whether or not to be afraid i don’t know What it is it could be something good it could ultimately be like a bomb i know but we need to check you never know if if i die my last words were the world was at the edge of their seat what was the doom the answer shared a Common factor with the gods of the server they were once again just the admins except instead of fat neckbeards these admins were extraterrestrial aliens that had crashed landed in a meteor in the center of the map each alien was equipped with futuristic weaponry plasma rifles rocket launchers guns even Lightsabers you name it the doom of the world wasn’t the meteor like many had predicted it was what was inside the meteor the real experiment behind the event the real test and the reason we organized this was to see whether or not a scared population was willing to open up Something as dangerous as the meteor during an event named doom is there anyone brave enough to risk it all and potentially release hell on earth unfortunately for everyone there was This guy’s minding it [Laughter] He went flying he went flying dude he died he died oh my god after less than five minutes after the crash the meteor had been opened and doom was here even though we had planned to make an announcement after the opening we didn’t have to the aliens made a mistake when equipping Fullnethered armor as the nether was disabled all right let’s gear up no the achievements let’s just say that after this smart players stopped traveling to the meteors coordinates they knew something was up since the aliens were released into the world our plan now was to visit each Team’s base and see what they were made of each team was given five minutes of their own personal doom where we would try to kill as many of their citizens as possible there was no chance that they could kill any of us they only had to survive for five minutes by divine Justice or by the angered egg god who sought to punish those that grieved his shrine the first team that was chosen to experience doom was none other than team bread let’s go let’s go all right let’s go just go this way this way and team he was like He was the one who went red boom bread is here guys what does that mean it’s not getting bumped i see multiple creatures outside of the outside of our basement yes when we first arrived at team bread’s base we noticed something off most of the team wasn’t home It turns out that the leadership of team bread had devised a secret strategy one where they left citizens they deemed as less valuable at home as bait while the rest of the team hid away in safety i guess team bread wasn’t so against the sacrifice to the gods after all We need to kill him right now all right listen i don’t want to be the one to spread the bad news but they’re not so we’ve got to do our own thing and let them do theirs look harriet you have not failed us until this point we will hold them off We will hold them up but this is not good guys i think it’s good that we’re away from them just talking i don’t to be honest guys let’s just be honest we’re the people who are under attack helpful to us all lucario did was build a platform Above our base and then stand on the platform surprisingly the aliens didn’t directly kill many bred citizens during their doom however because of the stress and the confusion that they were facing team bread suffered five casualties which at that point was a little over a third of their population and after the doom More continued to die due to exposure to the environment leaving only six team bred members remaining the next team to face the doom was the democratic team cheddar to say the least their defensive plans were surprising president grave had ordered construction of an obsidian bunker inside the base Predicting that the impact of the meteor was going to set the world on fire so all of team cheddar packed themselves into a tiny little obsidian box in the center of their base this quickly became a terrible mistake as the aliens didn’t leave their pickaxes at home team cheddar in its Entirety were sitting ducks with only two members outside of the box defending it the aliens made quick work of them eliminating them almost immediately and gaining access to the core of cheddar’s base it looked like this was the end for cheddar yet in their darkest hour president Grave the ghoul had kept himself outside of the bunker and came rushing out of hiding hoping to buy them some time coming in there’s people coming [Applause] fight the outsiders all alone grave the ghoul ran into the jaws of death knowing it was his end unfortunately his death Was in vain as the aliens killed him effortlessly with a gravity gun all right let’s break into their dome here we’re all here in a stunning twist of fate chewy mustard one two eight the egg emissary that had tried to make an alliance with team cheddar had successfully done so The entire time since the end of the egg bread war chewy mustard began regrouping members of team egg to join his militia force and formed a sub-faction of team egg this splinter faction had allied with team cheddar and through chewie’s efforts team cheddar and team egg had joined together as team omelet In the nick of time team egg’s remaining forces arrived at team cheddar’s base ready to help defend cheddar from what would have been certain extinction Yo that guy’s dead there’s a bunch of people here guys teleport chewie mustard’s egg militia forces weren’t there to attack the aliens they were there to split us up to give team cheddar a chance and it worked with less pressure from the aliens team cheddar was able to break out of their enclosure And make a run for it due to the sacrifices of their late president grave the ghoul in chewy mustard’s militia team cheddar was given enough time to escape however they suffered heavy casualties out of the 12 chatter members at the beginning of the doom only half had survived The next team on the chopping block was team alfalfa team alfalfa had mostly been quiet during the late game sticking to themselves and spending most of their time preparing for the doom team alfalfa’s plans surprised the entire alien team instead of staying behind in their base underground and trying to defend their Home they all split up ran into the ocean and got into boats to put it shortly this was an extremely effective strategy they’re on boats they’re we’re totally off guys they’re on boats they’re on boats yeah they’re tp to me players and boats are very difficult to shoot at sitting in a boat Also made the players immune to being gravity gun and splitting up made it difficult for aliens to catch groups off guard and profit off of hysteria homing rocketed really hard they went towards the shore they’re splitting up these guys are smart so bad at this they’re all split up they’re so smart Team alfalfa had learned that the best way to win was to use gorilla tactics and to try and waste as much of the clock away as possible so they boarded up the entrance to their base with cobblestone i’m gonna break into the entrance here we need more deaths this is sad Did they fill their entire basement cobblestone or is this just like we’re getting there where’d they go i don’t know it’s like going in here at the end of alfalfa’s doom only two members of the team were killed this brought their total surviving player count to 12. The aliens did get a small victory since no one was home we destroyed their entire base even though alfalfa struggled hard in the early and mid game to organize by the late game they had pulled together but there was one more challenge awaiting them after cheddar’s doom team omelette’s egg And cheddar members had met up and created a joint base on the map’s volcano north of the mesa biome both queen natella and the remaining egg players were attempting to travel to this new stronghold unfortunately team egg’s doom occurred during this crucial period team egg knowing that they were next Prepared themselves for what was to come everyone spawn on gooey everyone tp to gooey okay oh wait wait wait wait i do it already okay do it get him kill him he’s done eggs attempts to sail to the volcano were being thwarted adios a warrior that Had survived the bread egg war and had been a part of the backup team for team cheddar was hunted down and killed without mercy start circling her queen natella was all alone in the middle of the ocean with her only companion being her pet dog unfortunately for the silent queen Her reign had come to an end [Laughter] our queen team egg was devastated by the loss of their queen continuing their slaughter the aliens were able to wipe out eggs attempted movement to the new volcano base now their sights were set on the base itself all right let them just scatter just chase them all away from each other Having already lost so much team omelette decided to abandon the volcano base once again splitting up what little was left of them at the end of their doom team egg was a shell of what it used to be and the omelet alliance was on its last legs While the doom had ended this wasn’t the end there was still one more struggle that the teams had to face which would determine the winner of the entire event The aliens reconvened back at the meteor we decided that this world was not worth keeping and we intended to destroy the entire planet with our alien technology the only way to survive was to be under the beacon we placed the beacon inside the meteor and made the announcement If you brought the beacon back to your base and placed it your team would win under the world’s ending you must take the beacon from that coordinate and place it the group that’s under the beacon’s protection will win all right let’s get out of here the last remaining players began rushing To the beacon what we didn’t tell the players was that the meteor was being guarded by all six aliens to get a chance at stealing the beacon you would have to sneak past our defenses oh there’s people coming there’s people coming while some players did manage to sneak Into the meteor and even break the beacon without a plan it wasn’t enough to prevent the aliens from noticing oh wait there’s somebody that already got it i’m gonna replace it good that you killed him because he’s a he was a lone wolf the aliens held a firm grasp over The meteor and had already killed four players however somehow even with all six aliens circling the meteor someone had snuck in not less than five minutes after we placed the beacon stole it and ran away i got it they got it is he running away yeah all right We went on a rampage killing everyone nearby with no mercy trying to find who had it he didn’t have it either he has it or people all over the place taking pot shots from across the map he didn’t drop it we don’t know who has it It turns out that kiwi starfruit yt a member of team egg came to the meteor with a plan aided by her fellow egg teammate furalicious they both broke past our defenses once they met up in the meteor kiwi mined the beacon and escaped underground while fur alicia served as a Diversion sacrificing her life in the process the plan worked and we soon realized that kiwi starfruit was the only person that we had not killed that had been close to the meteor but by the time we realized it it was already too late kiwi left and was almost back at tmake’s base Team egg the team that had lost it all were named the champions of doom as a reward for their victory the aliens teleported all of the remaining team egg members to the beacon ensuring their safety chewie mustard true to his independent nature didn’t need any help getting there The beacon was lit and team egg was finally safe in their base that they had lost so long ago now there wasn’t much hope for the other teams they had to So what happens after they place it we’re gonna follow whoever has it and when they place it we’re gonna kill everyone else okay i think that’ll be fun After declaring team eggs victory we announced a dim and final hope for everyone the aliens would wait two minutes for you to make it to the beacon if you did not make it in time you would be visited by us and killed without hesitation all out all out all out and tp tp 47 extraterrestrial weapon the final challenge had little room for mercy unknowingly during the alien rampage after the beacon had been stolen we eliminated the final member of team cheddar mkhitaryan making team cheddar the first team to go extinct this left only two teams with a chance at saving themselves team alfalfa and Team bread however alfalfa never attempted to travel to the meteor and do the extreme distance between their base and eggs only one player cobster91 was close enough to even have a chance the rest of team alfalfa was unceremoniously executed by the other aliens starting with their leader trail tricks that Meant that the last team with more than one person remaining was team bread so the aliens switched their attention to them during their hail mary evacuation to egg space it started raining it’s raining the doom has come I’m gonna art gun this dude to the sky hey so fast yo that guy just water bucket clutched i’m letting him i’m letting him make it i’m letting this guy make it that was sick at least you you make it you make it i will bring it home for us All right cops sir yeah he’s got one more trial everybody teleport to me i want to park blast him yeah wait yeah this part fart glasses that’s under the mountain i’m going to set him up yes see him oh no there’s nobody surrounding them
