Ever thought about had a brand new dimension. Ever wondered what the next biome could be? Here are 22 things Minecraft needs to add in the 1.21 update. We have a dimension that represents the underworld. The Nether. We have a dimension that feels like Outer Space. The End. So the next possible thing Minecraft needs to add is a dimension that represents the sky. Minecraft Villages can basically spawn in every single biome that exists in the game, so why can’t we find Minecraft Villages undeground? Cave Dwelling villages with their own custom builds And loot should definitely be in the next version of the game. I don’t mind Mob Spawner Dungeons, or Mineshafts. But I feel like it’s time for some new styles of Dungeons around Minecraft that can naturally generate with mobs and loot galore. Hardcore Minecraft is a trend recently, but what would make it more hardcore? The threat of Storms & Tornadoes that could take you down and ruin all of your builds. Imagine the realism and challenge this addition could bring to your game, and up the stakes to hardcore players. With all the new biomes that have been added recently, some of the older biomes don’t feel as interesting anymore. To spice that up they should add in seasons which would drastically change the look and feel of the generic forests and plains of Minecraft. Taming animals is a big part of life inside Minecraft, we all want those pets we can’t have in real life… but wouldn’t it improve our experience as players if we could also Enchant our pets with cool abilities and effects? That’s what I thought, so Mojang get on it! We want shiny cool pets ASAP! Minecraft is such a BIG game these days, it’s easy to get lost. It’s about time Minecraft added a way to set waypoints and teleport so we can explore and get around to the places we love most! Villages have jobs. Villagers are trading posts for players. The logical next step is for villages and villages to give us quests. And this is exactly what we need to add more depth into the game. Since the early days of Minecraft we’ve had horses to ride, and much later we were given Elytra’s to glide around. Now it’s time for us to fly. A flying Mob is the next step for minecraft so we can saddle up and explore the world at a faster pace. Give us a Hippogryph, or even a Dragon! With the addition of Archaeology, Minecraft is in perfect position to start adding nifty artifacts that grant the user cool effects or abilities. Imagine being able to fly around with an artifact that consumes feathers or have a chalice that negates fire damage and is an unlimited lava bucket. You can’t have a new update without including a new biome, and I feel this is the right direction. We’ve had the deserts and mesa already so let’s take it one step further and include a Volcanic biome. A rare biome that spawns with an active or inactive volcano which can fertilise ground but also damage builds, dangerous but rewarding and very aesthetic. Adding to the challenge and acitivites inside Minecraft, a custom event system seems like a plausible next step for the future update. Adding in events like a bloodmoon, once a month in Minecraft where the sky turns and the mobs come out for rageful vengeance to claim the overworld for themselves, or rifts spawn allowing Otherwordly entities to enter the overworld for one night only. Minecraft has a build height in the game, but up in the sky there isn’t really anything going on… but what if there was? Slime Islands would be a neat floating island in the clouds Allowing for a place to farm slimes, and slime blocks with also different slime variations for decorative purposes and maybe even a slime boss. More sound and visual options for the game. We all love would be really cool. Dynamic footsteps and mob sounds, and visual leaves falling and damage Numbers could take the combat and strategy for players to the next level. For Casual players losing your inventory and having to hunt down your past coordinates is real torture, but a willing punishment for our mistakes. That 5 minute timer on your loot despawning however is a cruel judgement from our lord Herobrine himself. So let’s add Gravestones, they spawn when you’re not long for this world in the place you expired.and when broken it contains all of your loot so you can’t lose it… unless you’re silly like me and fall in lava. Then there’s no saving you. Hey, Dan. Hey, Ritchie. Isn’t this Cool being able to talk in-game with your friends? And if you walk away for just a moment, it’s proximity based, so you’ll be able to communicate wherever you are. They’ve really got to add this next update. Recently they gave us barrels… And while they are cool they’re not much different to chests, so what’s the point? an upgradeable chest system however would be really cool. Combining a chest with Iron Blocks to make an Iron Chest with more space, or upgrading all the way to Diamond for even more storage and even a crystal chest! The addition of Shulker Boxes was awesome for it’s time, but we have to beat the game before we can even access them. Let’s put that leather to some good use and craft a Backpack instead, an early game alternative so we can carry more items and separate our loot. At some point it just makes sense. Mojang have been making new games recently with the likes of Minecraft dungeons and Minecraft legends focusing in on Minecraft dungeons. why not add some of the cool items and lore from the game into the original. Like the legendary weapons, relics and maybe even some of the custom mobs. Does anyone else feel like the food options in Minecraft could be so much better? We have all the tools and resources to craft and cook incredible meals we just need the means to do it… as in CRAFTING RECIPES! Let’s turn That bread into a sandwich with some milk and cocoa beans into a milkshake. Iron Golems are a players and villager security system, but I think it’s about time they got an upgrade. They teased us with the Copper Golem and I want more, Imagine a Diamond Golem, or an Emerald Golem… Maybe even a Melon Golem. What would they do? Who knows, but I want THEM! And I think you do too. This just amazes me, and would be so so cool. Imagine your nether portals were see through, and The Nether was as visible as ever from another dimension. You could see the mobs hopping about, the lava flowing and even step right through without having to load in, turn around and you’ll see where you came from.
