Minecraft was defined by his thriving community of YouTube creators many people purchased the game because it looks so fun while watching these videos but now a large number of these names that we watched for years have abandoned their channels in pursuit of other Ventures or they have gotten themselves In so much controversy they had to quietly step away from the community and some have simply seen their fan base erode over time we will describe the stories of seven of the Forgotten YouTubers Sky Does Minecraft was an amazing YouTuber back in the day posting all types of content ranging from old Minecraft mods to Skyblock videos stop it don’t hit me he gained around 11 million subscribers and almost 4 billion views sky was well respected and known for entertaining millions of kids until he was exposed on Twitter for verbally abusing and degrading the woman that had his second child this woman known as Elizabeth wrote a scathing 6 000 Word document describing the details she also includes a number of photos which includes police reports and she describes sky as by far one of the most judgmental and homophobic people that she has ever met she also claims the sky paid off the women with hundreds of Thousands of dollars to keep quiet all of these allegations of controversy essentially sunk Sky’s career so much so that he even tried to sell his YouTube channel on the fame swab Marketplace his original offering price was nine hundred thousand dollars but no buyer has been found since then Skye has neglected to Maintain activity on his channel posting his last video a year ago except for a rather odd YouTube short made in January reflecting his old popularity now Sky averages around 30 000 views a day which is astoundingly low for an 11 million subscriber Channel next up is Paul Soares Jr Paul Soares Jr is a legend in parts of the Minecraft Community this is a server called mine Z hello back around two or so years ago Paul consistently posted Minecraft content ranging from Hardcore less plays to Island Survival video hello does anybody speak in this island is This an island of mutes these videos were great and loved by his fans but then all of a sudden something just changed as time progressed Paul started posting less and less Minecraft content and recently he hasn’t posted a single Minecraft video in four months and then Another two months until the next one so it seems like Paul just stopped enjoying Minecraft and started to play other games I’m sure Paul enjoys this more however it has had a large impact on his channel despite his almost 1.5 million subscribers Paul is only able to get a Few thousand views per video despite this decline Paul’s old videos are still viewed by old players trying to relive The Nostalgia that’s fine and dandy but if I bang on this with this block of wood I’m not going to get anywhere at number three we have Jerome as f jerome Was especially known for his Hunger Games content in the old Minecraft game mod MCSG hey what’s going on dudes it’s Mitch or baby Canadian here bro we run into the mothership what what the mother which way behind you behind your legs sadly this genre of content would see a Gradual decline over the years especially now that Hunger Games gameplay has lost all of its player base Jerome has tried to shift content Styles a number of different times without much success he posted many 100 days of Minecraft videos but was later exposed for Cheating in these videos which Tarnished his reputation the video which put this on the map was posted by fizzy Banger and has accumulated over 6 million views he has uploaded five 100 Days videos this is out of 32 videos in total that he uploaded in the past two weeks okay that’s a bit sus this would Not stop Jerome from posting though as he’s now switched to more towards the cash and Nico style content which we’ve seen in previous videos however all these changes in content has resulted in Jerome’s viewer continuing to decline despite this Jerome has consistently continued to post and appears he has no Intention of stopping number four is Stampy Longhead Stampy started uploading on his original Channel way back in 2006 he was known for doing funny survival and adventure videos on Minecraft hello this is Stampy uh his ballistic squid and of course elper Lee here playing cake peekaboo he has gained millions of Subscribers and billions of views over the time that he did YouTube Stampy is arguably one of the most recognizable names in Minecraft history and this is because his videos on Xbox gained so much prominence around 8 to 10 years ago Stampy will be remembered for his role In The Game’s culture but time has not been generous to his continued fan base given he was primarily watched by kids playing the Xbox it’s not surprising how much of his fan base has moved on with their lives I used to watch Tabby when I played the Xbox but it’s been over eight Years if we roll back several years when Stampy was at his Peak he averaged around 200 000 to 2 million views per video but now he’s struggling and barely managing to get anything in the six figures there is still hope for snappy as he continues to post and entertain The viewers which have stuck around as well as the new viewers next up we have Captain Sparkles Captain Sparkles created his channel on July 20th 2010 and in the time since he has gained over 11 million subscribers and 4 billion views these videos mainly consist of Minecraft Survival mods and special Maps I remember watching these videos when I was younger and enjoying them so much Oh this is so cool and to this day Captain Sparkles still post fairly actively Captain Sparkles does post a bit of variety content where he will just talk to the viewers without playing Minecraft and this was interesting because it changed things up a bit but the main reason Sparkles is seeing this decline Is that there’s been little change in the content and as with Stampy Sparkles has been around for so long that many viewers have gotten older and moved on with other things this is why some of the Sparkle’s new videos are such a breath of fresh air such as his new Create mod series given these newer attempts to switch up his style Captain Sparkles still has a chance to turn things around at number six we have iBallistic Squid iBallisticSquid created his YouTube channel way back he became well known through his friendship with Stampy Longhead this is a bit weird is It it is just a bit oh my God it’s another me after dropping out of college squid meant stamping through Minecraft Xbox and the duo became a viral sensation basically creating a new generation of Minecraft players the duo collaborated in tons of videos some of them being crazy Craft mods Race To The Moon Pixelmon and more Well Stampy and him are still good friends but they took their separate ways and stopped recording with each other as often although they recently did feature each other in a short video series during this short downfall of Minecraft around 2016. squid decided and outpost his office so that he can focus On other things and back in 2021 he became a father so this is Finn he has a lot to manage currently despite having all these responsibilities squid never left YouTube and continues to upload Minecraft a couple times a month last but not least we have Lackland unlike other YouTubers recovered black lab Story is so much more unique when lachman started playing Minecraft he went by the name of craft battle dude shifted it from craft battle duty okay this is a name imagine right now you were like hey you got crawfish I mean you did you did do that and like I Felt the cringe all the way over here he was especially known for his Minecraft themed music remixes for example his remix of I am achieved over 120 million views around 2016 Lockland started making some Pokemon go contact which saw millions of views but this was nothing compared to His next switch on November 2nd 2017 Lachlan posted his first Fortnight video wait what’s this fortnite on the main Channel best believe it’s happening ladies and gentlemen this saw his channel explode in popularity these fortnite videos did very well and locked on was able to grow with fortnite’s Rapid eruption of players unlike all of these other YouTubers Lachlan saw his popularity drastically rise after moving away from his old content to a new style it was so successful that in 2019 he became the first Australian gaming channel to reach 10 million subscribers and lockline is now at a staggery 14.8 Million subscribers he even got his own skin in fortnite showing you how much the community appreciated his content I don’t know how it was going to stream this tears of joy it’s just This shift from Minecraft to fortnite was wildly successful for luck line but his Minecraft career now lays forgotten and his old Community definitely wishes he would post more Minecraft videos however everyone is still proud of the success I hope you all enjoyed this video be sure to like subscribe and Comment which of these YouTubers is your favorite and with that we’ll see you in the next video Video
