8 Problems Minecraft Needs To Have Fixed

Ever has been despite that though there’s issues every now and again and that’s what we’re gonna focus on today the issues a list of a few things that could use a bit of help whether it’s an actual bug or just a feature that could use a little bit of love

For the fact that i’m wearing netherright gear in order to protect myself i’d be in trouble especially if i was on hard mode because their attacks are absolute insanity but their attack damage and their range isn’t the problem let me show you what is i’m going to spawn another one in here

And i’m going to go into creative mode so that it’s not attacking me and then i’m going to enable hitboxes now what you notice when you enable hitboxes hoglands are immune to hits in their head their head is literally not part of their hitbox i can smack you in the face an infinite

Amount of times and you will never ever take damage they can hit me from all the way back here yet if i try to smack them in the face if i’m slightly out of range of their body it does nothing mo jing please fix end my suffering oh no everyone

I’m really hungry i hope that this chest in front of me here has some food in it oh look we have either rotten flesh or raw chicken hmm between the two i guess i’d rather choose the rotting flesh off of a zombie because at least i won’t be risking salmonella poisoning so

Rotten flesh been in the game for absolutely ages and aside from being a complete last ditch food source it’s pretty much worthless yes of course you can trade it in very very large quantities to clerics and you can get emeralds from that but really is that really going to be your source

Of emeralds okay you can trade sticks literally the same amount of sticks what’s easier to come by other than that rotten flesh does nothing it just clogs up your chest please we need to have another use for it mods sometimes allow you to smelt it in a furnace that’s pretty cool

It turns into leather it gives it a use you can’t do that you can’t craft it in two by two and make like a leather piece that then you can smelt and turn into leather that could be a way to nerf it so it’s not just a one-to-one ratio but regardless

There needs to be something more to rotten flesh then just a last minute i’m desperate food source that’s probably gonna do me more harm than good because it’s gonna bring my hunger back down but at the same time when you think about it it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense really

That i’d rather eat decomposing meat off of a zombie than a raw chicken because i’m risking getting salmonella from it it also it satiates me more for some reason but that said the moral of the story is it would be great if there was more function to rotten flesh just

Something that you can do with it you can craft it as part of something to make another resource turn it into leather just do something other than just having it sit unused in my chest just occupying space that i then don’t even think to trade to

A cleric because i have so many other better ways of getting emeralds that’s all we now move to the end for something that’s definitely a bug and also definitely something i hope gets fixed very very soon with 1.16.2 you’ll notice now i’m 1.16.1 that if i anger some enderman i’ll start swinging

At them and uh they’re going to start teleporting away see the purple particles it means the netherman has teleported now usually why do you teleport see in the past you smack enderman as long as you’re teleported as long as you weren’t looking at their face they would stay put in front of you

That’s the whole way that enderman grinders operate but now i punch him and he goes over there if you’re trying to collect ender pearls in the nether off of an enderman they just go and eat themselves off of an edge and fall into lava or something

Or they just forget you exist and then you can’t get the pearls anymore i managed to get successfully zero ender pearls from those endermen because they kept teleporting you guys come back here and then the biggest problem of all though is that they freak off somewhere and they forget about you

But as soon as you walk out from your shelter of two blocks high they remember you again and they’re like oh yeah i was mad at him before i forgot about that but now that i see him i’m gonna i’m gonna go and attack him again at least i got a couple ender

Pearls but gosh dang it’s taking way longer than it used to and also absolutely just broke enderman grinders because now they’ll teleport outside unless you cover all the surfaces with non-spawnable slash teleportable blocks and stuff are we safe all right at least it looks like nobody’s still angry at me

And we can move around either way an actual bug that i hope is fixed asap this next one’s a bit of a two-fold issue on one hand it has to do with piglet behavior and on the other hand it has to do with an advancement that stems from the pigment behavior

Right now i’m in creative mode so he’s not mad at me but i’m not wearing any gold armor so if i switch into survival he’s going to get mad that’s fine i can throw gold ingot on the ground put on the helmet and he shouldn’t be angry with me

After he’s done and throws away the gold what also should have happened there is i should have gotten the oh shiny advancement but i i didn’t so the piglen behavior was predictable but for some reason i didn’t get the advancement for oh shiny which is to distract a piglen

By throwing a gold item at them when they’re angry at you now on the other hand the piglet behavior can be not predictable or predictable in the wrong way allow me to open up this chest here to make him angry then i’m going to distract him with gold again

Which he’ll happily pick up but then once he throws it away he’s still going to be angry at me i gave you gold i gave you the gold you wanted what are we what are we on about here dude how much do i have to pay of the troll toll

Before you and he’s still mad what the heck is this i have to unlive you at the end of the day here what if i if i take off my helmet and then distract you and then put my helmet back on now i get o shiny and now we’re okay

So the behavior is very unpredictable and i don’t know why that is exactly but it would be nice if we get some more consistency also as to why oh shiny didn’t work the first several times that i did it and only now because i had both the chest and the armor

Aggro triggered at the same time and then fixed it so it’s very strange the way that that all plays out and uh it would be nice to perhaps get a little bit of consistency because as it stands i have no idea how to deal with them and once the

Up wolves or there’s wolves with different stats that you could find in the wild make wolf armor instead of horse armor give us a wolf armor so we can actually have a companion that’s able to survive more than a single zombie i don’t want to have to have it be an

Escort mission i want this wolf pet to be carrying me as long as i invest the effort in turning it into an absolute unit i hope will be lifelong friends we’ll we’ll certainly be around we’ll be in this forever you’ll be my best friend forever for sure all right good job dude one

More zombie to take care okay this next one isn’t a major issue but it peeves me just enough to say something here it has to do with soul speed which is new to 1.16 so hey maybe it’s something they’ll be tweaking in the future but i’m going to put on some soul speed

Boots as well as a helmet to protect myself in case piglets get angry and soul speed’s pretty cool allows you to run on soul sand super fast granted it takes some of the durability of the boots but hey you got another right they’re super durable it’s a small

Price to pay right especially if you have mending well the problem is okay i’m approaching this okay i thought i had a lot of speed i jumped and i didn’t make it up to the next ledge that’s kind of tripped me up a bit when you jump

Even if you have soul speed on it just reverts you to the same speed you’d be going if you didn’t have soul speed i don’t know why it works this way it’s kind of bizarre because it just completely screws your momentum up you’re thinking you’re going super fast

Okay and then it’s time to jump up the next ledge and then you just run right into it yes it’s something you can learn to live with you try not to jump as much but come on let’s be honest everybody is used to running and jumping in minecraft that’s just how

You operate it makes you go faster than just straight up sprinting so it just ruins your momentum it frustrates me a little bit that’s all i want to be carrying the momentum and i just it’s like i hit a brick wall every time i jump with soul speed on

So minor issue but maybe something that could be addressed allow me to introduce you to the bane of my existence ow i thought i jumped on a slime block shouldn’t it bounce me up so that i can land up there on my objective ledge let’s try it again maybe

We can fix this how about we go over here ow i thought i landed on a slime block why didn’t it bounce me okay yes i know the answer to this question i know why it behaves this way it doesn’t stop me from being frustrated every single time it happens i hate

Slime blocks so much god i hate everything i hate slime blocks sometimes it’ll damage and bounce you at the same time which is just the most bizarre mechanic there we were able to get it successfully done but cool now the reason why it does this is

If for example you have the slime blocks flush with the ground and you land slightly over the edge you are more on this adjacent block sand in this case than you are on the slime block in which case i get it it shouldn’t reflect you but if you are landing on

The slime block only and there is only air next to it why do you break my ankles look i get it if i’m over here and i land a little bit off to the side okay cool i landed on the sand that’s fair in this case though there is no sand

To hit when the slime compresses it’s only air next to it allow me to bounce please ow and i bounced and took damage slime blocks when they are raised with only air around them if you hit them on an edge i personally believe that it should bounce you but that’s just me what

Ladies and gentlemen for our final segment i’d like to introduce you to the most game breaking feature in all of minecraft and it has to do with the stone cutter now what about the stone cutter you might be wondering because you probably used it before

And it seems to work pretty well i can throw some stone in there and i can skip some steps get chiseled stone bricks or i can skip steps and save resources and get a bunch of stairs that’s pretty cool right well the problem isn’t the functionality the

Block works pretty well the issue is the saw blade okay what happens in real life if you walk into a spinning saw blade nothing good what happens in minecraft if you walk into a spinning saw blade nothing at all my feet are getting turned into a pulp

And yet i’m completely fine but on the other hand if i walk into some cranberries oh god oh no i can’t handle it dude the cranberries don’t back to the saw blade oh god saw blade what a relief oh thank god what a relief i can stand on this saw blade now
