Mojang Blacklists 6b6t on Bedrock as Anarchy Server Thrives

The official 6b6t changelog confirms Mojang has now blocked the server on Bedrock Edition in addition to Java. The team responded with new domains, continued development of their bypass mod, and reports of record concurrent players without ever adding rules or resetting the world.

Mojang keeps trying to kill the biggest true anarchy server in Minecraft. It is not working.

A changelog posted on September 3 confirms Mojang has blacklisted 6b6t on Bedrock Edition too. The Java blacklist that dropped on July 15 is already being bypassed by thousands of players using a dedicated mod. The server itself never went offline never reset its world and never added a single rule.

The post states that after further research 6b6t was also blacklisted by Mojang on Bedrock. Their main bedrock.6b6t.org address no longer works for status or MOTD. New addresses are provided: br.6b6t.org bedrock1.6b6t.org bedrock2.6b6t.org and bedrock3.6b6t.org. The team notes they are looking into developing AnarchyMod for Bedrock as well.

Mojang’s Bedrock blacklist also affects server status requests for the 6b6t.org domain. You can still join using the addresses above but they will not display a MOTD or player count in the server list.

The blacklist handed 6b6t more publicity than it could have bought. Videos from raincoates and TheMisterEpic have racked up over half a million views combined. The server hit 1155 players online during a dupe event in August beating 2b2t at times while staying completely rule free.

AnarchyMod is the official open source Fabric mod required for Java players to connect. It handles server unblocking auto adds the server to your list and reports basic join stats. It supports every version from 1.9.4 all the way through the current 26.x releases. The mod repository was updated as recently as September 1.

  • Permanent world running since January 2022 with zero resets
  • No rules no queue no staff punishments
  • Daily player counts reported between 150 and 300 even after blacklisting
  • Peak of 1155 concurrent during August dupe event
  • Over 700000 unique players across its lifetime

This is not some underground operation. 6b6t openly documents everything on their site and GitHub. They positioned the blacklist as a fight they refuse to lose and so far the numbers back them up. Mojang can add domains to a block list but dedicated players and a small mod have kept the largest anarchy server alive.

If you want to see it for yourself the Java address is mc.6b6t.org after installing AnarchyMod. Bedrock users should try the new br.6b6t.org on port 19132. Expect chaos because that is the entire point.
