Hey everybody we’re going to take a look at how to add a resource link in any minecraft lesson or challenge from the in-game library from the teacher’s perspective i’m going to go ahead and click on play and i’m going to go to view library to find a lesson or build challenge that i Want my students to complete i’m going to go into monthly build challenges and i heard of this be creative challenge and this is what i want my students to complete as we’re learning about bees right now in science class now in this i have three options i can Create the world to launch myself into the challenge directly i can access a more in-depth lesson plan on the minecraft education edition website or i can assign or share this world directly with my students i’m going to click on assign or share so you can see i can create a teams Assignment directly from this in-game library i can create a google classroom assignment or i can copy a url to the world directly to share with students but what i’m going to do is add a resource this can be a flip grid topic a microsoft form or another Quiz tool or anything you’d like to use i’m going to click on add a resource and i have created a flipgrid topic for my students for the be creative challenge for them to record a screen recording and voiceover of their work for me to assess so i’m gonna paste that Url in there and i’m gonna add the button name to be flipgrid submission i’m going to click on done and it says your world is ready to assign or share i’m actually going to click on this url and copy it and it says link copied to your Clipboard so as an educator i can share this link to my students via lms google classroom teams or whatever else you’re using to give them assignments or information and as a student i can go in and paste this url and it’ll say this site is trying to Open up minecraft i’m going to go ahead and push open and as a student minecraft will open and it says this world was shared with a link to an additional resource look for the flipgrid submission button on the pause screen after you create the world so as a student i’m going to Create the world to start my challenge and i’m going to be spawned into the world i can go check out the challenge the instructions any extension activities and when i’m ready i can go and create my own pollinator garden after i’m done with my submission and my Work i’m going to click on escape on my keyboard to access the pause screen and i can see that a button that my teacher created is here for me called flipgrid submission when i’m ready to record my in-game screen recording through flipgrid i’m going to click on this button And i’ll be taken to the topic then i can add my response and submit my one minute video to my teacher here to assess thanks for watching Video Information
