All the Mods 6 To the Sky EP1 New Modded Minecraft Skyblock

Hey guys and welcome back this is chosen arctic and today we are playing all the mod 6 to the sky so i hope you guys are ready Jumping right into this skylock mod pack that’s right we are playing all the month six but it’s a sky block now there are a few mods missing like right off the start there are a few mods missing um the rats mod isn’t in here at the moment

And uh nor is the beam mod that was uh present in all the mod six when i did my playthrough so there’s there are a couple of differences um unfortunately those two mods are not in here but maybe they’ll be added in the future i have no idea

There is a questing book uh but first let’s go ahead and break some wood um now underneath your escape key if you’re wondering i always get this question asked a lot and that is how do i break multiple blocks at once well if you hold down that little key that is underneath

Your escape key it is called a grave key or at least it’s called that in minecraft um you hold that button down and it’ll open up ftb ultimine in which um you can hold shift while holding that button down and you can change your mining shape um shapeless probably be the best for

You i’m going to go ahead and mine with that and look at that we ended up mining and we got three saplings out of that and we got our logs and we have a chest here very nice okay so the chest has lava and ice so very reminiscent of a

Standard sky block um now to grow the logs back um or to grow a tree you can just simply do the whole uh you know uh twerking thing you know twerk twerk twerk i just i love that that’s a feature still that’s still a thing this is very

Reminiscent of like sky factory like how sky factory functions um or how a lot of sky blocks function like back in the day like this is actually going to be kind of a refresher i like that the uh this is going to be you know very reminiscent

Uh we’re going to be using excellent hi-lo like if you remember x in a high-low and you miss sieving this pack is going to be for you so i definitely recommend that um sieving is gonna be so much fun uh getting back into that now wood immediately

I need to uh grab some planks let’s go ahead and create a crafting table um i’m gonna go ahead and place that down here i wanna go ahead and get a couple of slabs out on the edge uh simply because i don’t want to be losing all of my saplings

As we’re we are currently doing that you can see there’s a lot of dirt under us as well so if we wanted to expand this out quickly we of course could i’m not too worried about digging into this dirt down here as i don’t really want to go

Further down we’re actually at a level a y level that is really nice um a couple of other things that you guys might question because my game looks a little bit different than yours is um well if you type in chat the one probe and then you type config

It’s gonna pull this up now i like to put mine’s uh my information panel here in the middle and then i like to set mine to transparent style so it’s whatever you feel like doing um and then also i don’t have my mini map up so you can go

All the way over here uh to ftb chunks i do believe and then click the settings button and uh you can turn your mini map on or off if you uh if you want you can pretty much set it wherever you want this is where all your settings are going to be

For that map mod but of course i can just hit the map mod and i can zoom in and see if i want as of right now it’d just be like a black circle up in the top right and i just don’t really want that

So i’m going to go ahead and finish the rest of this and uh harvest a few more trees i think that seems like a perfect idea i need to get about three out here this is not gonna be permanent of course one thing if you didn’t know this uh cork is in

Here so you could technically place slabs out but as you can see they’re not really going to be placed exactly where you want them um i think there is a way to force the top half with cork but for me i do still love the manual

Placement up so with uh that said we have our nine by nine complete yep uh definitely a nine by nine i don’t know what it is about minecraft but nine by nines fits so well ah they just they really do and by the way if uh if you don’t get the biome you

Want here’s a i know a lot of people are going to ask for the seed um if you do want the seed here you go uh there’s nothing crazy about it but there it is i’ll probably also have it linked down in the description below

Um but the seed here like if you don’t get the world right away and you don’t like where you’re at um just keep remaking a new world until you get a biome that you like i personally like the forest biome i think it’s going to be a great spot

For us to uh to get started the grass looks great um that’s the problem with some areas is the grass just um isn’t the most pleasant thing in the world like a desert i’m not a big fan of the way grass looks in a desert savannah biome so here’s a

Here’s a thing that a lot of people will probably fail at um at some point and uh that is going to be creating a cobble gin now right here i kind of want to keep some of my grass at least one block of grass like the one my chest is on but we

Have a piece of ice and a bucket of lava you don’t want to mess this up if you mess this up you’re going to have to restart so try not to do that like try not doing that i don’t know if this uh crafting table here

Um has any like other to use we can make a crafting station i don’t think this burns um we’re going to find out but i if i remember correctly this this it didn’t burn from tinker’s construct but it might burn in this mod so we’ll see but i want to go ahead and

Make a few crafting stations here oh you can see it’s it’s already kind of getting dark um our love is going to help with that um but yeah let’s go ahead and make a few more now that i’m looking at the time going by oh boy

All right so i’m gonna go ahead and get this placed let’s see if i place it back here it’s probably gonna be better that it’s placed back here we have this perfect spot to do this um now making a cobble gin it has a little bit of a science to it

I’m gonna try my best to explain a very simple cobblestone generator to you um that is gonna be able to be used in pretty much every version of minecraft like this is very universal in how this is made um i’m also gonna break the edges here so you’re gonna need a four platform

Basically think of lava being placed here it flows once water is gonna be here and this is going to pretty much be broken um this is where the water is actually gonna flow and then i need to replace all of this and seeing that i don’t have

A torch on me that’s kind of scary i need to take all of these i guess i can make an axe um i’m just gonna go ahead and manually break the rest of these um and then i’m going to place the crafting stations around so the first thing you want to place is

Of course going to be the ice i’m going to place that here break it that should turn into water and then i’m just going to place my bucket of lava here and then we should get a cobblestone gin just like that so now that we have that set up let’s go

Ahead and take our crafting station and uh oh i like that it works connected next to this chest so now items that we have in our chest we can automatically pull out of here um so for example i need some sticks and i should be able to make a pickaxe

So i can make a pickaxe just like that and we’re gonna use this real quick to grab a couple of cobblestone we only need three cobblestone to get us a regular pickaxe it’s gonna be kind of hard with this particular generator this isn’t the greatest cobblestone generator in the world

It’s best if we were one level down as well but this will get the job done for right now there we go we have three that’ll give us a better pick ax notice this uh this isn’t catching fire but this this is definitely catching fire i can pay attention to that hopefully we

Won’t have to oh nope that is catching fire that’s why we gotta hurry up and get as much cobblestone as possible so we can swap this out with cobblestone all right i’m gonna continue to get this lined up let’s go ahead and get ourselves a pickaxe

And uh get through this uh early sky block part with it being so dark i definitely want a couple of torches so yeah let’s go ahead and make some planks fire this bad boy up and bam we’re gonna get ourselves some charcoal get ourselves some torches that we can

Place around here so we don’t have mobs you know kind of spawning on here which would be kind of scary and then uh i think we can probably spruce this up a little bit i think we can get a better setup going with uh with one block of water

And one block of lava i’m pretty sure we can make at least a four cobblestone gin out of this so this right here is the uh and the setup for uh our cobblestone generator that we’re gonna be using now i can’t use regular cobblestone to build this because i am gonna be using

Um our vein miner to mine this up but this will be our early game it’s gonna be a lot easier than setting here doing this um so to set this up all you gotta do is uh basically create some little holes here this is just the wood place underneath

I have a slab here you don’t have to have a slab but i want to kind of keep the lava off of the wood as much as possible at least the wood that you know will be not that won’t be touched by water um other than that this should work just

Fine all we got to do is place the water on the top and this works off of a single piece of water or a single bucket of water in a single bucket of lava it is super simple um hopefully you can you know recreate this from what i’m

Showing you here um let’s go ahead and get this thing started i believe there’s nothing else to it um i have my bucket of lava i need to place my lava back down actually because we need to place the water first so i’m going to

Try to pick the water up there we go um and then up here we can go ahead and place the water right here on the top log that’s going to pour down and it should end up perfect just the way you see it and uh this is going to cause there to uh

Basically the lava is going to kind of want to pull out here and um well i’m going to show you exactly what it’s going to do we need to break these logs i guess we could probably uh make ourself an axe at this point oh that’s going to be so much nicer

And then uh yeah let’s go ahead and break these logs right here and uh these logs are gonna be super important being broken because this is where the lava is going to go let’s grab the lava and get ready for a super nice cobblestone generator just like that

Look at that we have tons of cobblestone here and we don’t have to worry about this catching on fire either because of the way that it’s situated and all i got to do is kind of vein mine it and hope that i collect it without the lava catching it first

Yeah i can stand right next to it and there we go we’re getting a lot more cobblestone now i mean a lot more so it’s currently nighttime i have a bunch of cobblestone kind of uh built up and i think it’s at at this point

I think i want to get into x and hilo i definitely do for one it’s gonna get us some nice food uh which may sound crazy but uh at the moment we have apples if i had some more apples builds up i could make some apple sprouts which i’ll probably do later on

These are super nice for growing apples you can grow a lot of apples from cyclic that way um over here i have some essential items that i think are gonna be nice to have over here in my bookmark bar um this is pretty much everything from extra hilo that we’re gonna need

Right away so to dive in we’re gonna need some sort of hammer to get some gravel we’re also gonna need ourselves a string mesh now to get string and to get a bed which is going to be really nice early on we need to grow a uh a tree um

And we need to use a crook not the type of person that likes to break in your house and steal your stuff not that kind of crook but like a a actual like wooden crook okay i know there’s a bad joke anyways um the wooden crook let’s go ahead and

Get this tree grown and we’re gonna use this on the leaves and we’re gonna get these things called silkworms very fancy break the wood and uh i’m gonna go ahead and plant a few trees here um and i’m gonna go ahead and just use i mean you if

The more silkworms you use the better off you’re going to be um now uh so if you let’s say make another crook i’m just gonna go ahead and harvest all of these as well you will get more apples by the way on your crooks um you can also use your crooks

Uh you can add them together and get more durability technically out of them as well this is another nice thing you can do um now now that we have all of this done i think what i’m going to do is i want to plant that many trees again we

Should be able to get them all to grow by holding or not holding shift but uh clicking shift as much as possible and wow did you see that we got a tall tree here like that’s even better that’s just gonna mean more string and the more string the better i think

The less the least times we have to do this uh the better off we’re gonna be um oh that kind of sucks one of my uh logs ended up actually burning i think what i’m gonna do is actually replace the logs with uh cobblestone slabs there let’s go ahead

And start using these silk worms to silkify our trees now you wouldn’t want this to happen to your irl trees silkworms and bag worms are pretty nasty if you’ve never seen those before i recommend google google image searching them they’re pretty nasty and they’re pretty bad for your trees

Uh yeah and they they like to spread but just like this they they will literally infest an entire tree and kill it and then move the next one kill it move the next one kill it they’re they’re horrible in ir they’re horrible irl so yeah let me let me fix this by the

Way while we’re over here um i think all i need is my cobblestone slabs in order to fix this thing um i probably should have thought about that that it could probably burn the more i think about it the more i’m like oh yeah it probably would

Burn but just by doing that honestly fixes it and by placing that and then breaking it that’ll fix that water up i need to get all of them done that way i think that’ll be probably uh a good idea if i grab that water and go ahead and fix the rest of them

Now of course i’m not worried about the log in the middle because it is actually being covered by water completely so the sides and nothing can actually burn on it oh yeah we can continue to harvest this here we go perfect okay so yeah our trees are definitely ready to go

Um i think we should probably make a super crook right man getting over here is becoming a little bit more difficult let’s go ahead and make like a super crook why not right let’s see 16 this is going to take nine crooks to do um and then we can make oh no it’s

Not nine crooks it’s definitely less than that look at that okay so it’s uh only a few but we’re gonna need this you can see it gets combined now we have tons of stuff oh no and we don’t have a whole lot of space to put this stuff but look how much

String we get we get so much string oh my goodness so now that we have enough string i’m actually going to take a bit of this and collapse it down into wool yeah i think i think we’ll be pretty good oh yeah we’ll be definitely better off doing this

Wow are we gonna have enough room for that okay so that left us with a little bit of string if i need to do this later of course i can do more but the silkworms these things are actually pretty nice let me go ahead and make some uh some wood

And we can cook these silk worms and have ourself a pretty decent food source for a little while so now with that we’re at this point extra hilo is about to start we are about to dive into extra high now notice this crafting station is absolutely amazing we have it hooked up

To two chests and you can see they show up over here and the only problem is they cover this up but it’s not that big of a problem and you can notice it allows us to pull items from these chests over here like and auto craft them as if

We were using something else that’s really cool in my opinion we also need to make ourself a mesh and this is how we’re going to just get started i’m also going to grab this we need to make some stone hammers now the thing with stone hammers is

Right off the bat having one is probably good i’m gonna make a couple but eventually you’re probably gonna want a compressed hammer it’s just gonna be a little bit easier down the road um and then over here i have a little place where i can set this up and we can start compressing

Our stone and then over here i think we might just place this right here to uh start our simple sieving look at that and so all we need is some gravel and which we should be able to get by doing this crushing it up now we have gravel and uh well

Gravel is going to get us some early stuff pretty much um i don’t know if having this placed on a chest or having a chest placed above it will make this any better or not but notice the uh the chance the drop rate on this not very high um what you want to

Upgrade to is the flint mesh the flint mesh is definitely going to start granting better things from your gravel you can see there’s going to be a little bit higher chance here so yeah we need to get pretty much just use this to get past that early stage so we can upgrade to

The flint mesh which we’re only gonna need six four i already have two yep and it’s getting dark so looks like i might have to just grind up a little bit of gravel but nothing too horrible now this thing right here will definitely help you out

Go ahead and as soon as you can make a stone wand or make a few of them like you’re going to need them anyways um basically this is going to allow you to place yourself a stone like this and then just go ahead and extend it like

So so long as you have enough and it’s just going to make placing and breaking so much easier later on there’s going to be way better methods of doing this but for right now this is uh our our best thing we have early on so to pop out the

String here shift right click on this we are going to make ourself a flint mesh replace that now we should start seeing the goods like it may take a little bit of time but we are going to start seeing some interesting stuff and i’m really after iron and things like that

Um our next sieve up is going to be the iron mesh and of course that’s going to be a better mesh overall it’s going to give us higher rates and things like that if i remember correctly um in how xnahilo normally works yeah we’re gonna have to sit here and

Harvest this for a while um and we’re gonna be using gravel i don’t think that there’s a compressed version of this x compressor i don’t remember if that is in here or not so like if we have gravel for example and it is compressed down can we sieve it i don’t

Know if that’s a thing because that’s the best thing to do um gravel compressed gravel times one no so it doesn’t look like that’s a thing early on anymore but man i love the whole like kind of simming the compressed variants it made it so much nicer

Okay one thing i did notice is if you have an auto clicker this is going to be way easier for you oh it’s so nice like ah i don’t know if that’s intended that way the faster you click the faster this will get placed down like the faster it’ll get sieved

Um i don’t know if that’s something that will change in the future so be aware if you’re watching this and it doesn’t work for you but i have a razer mouse which has the ability for me to set hotkeys that allow me to trigger um basically a fast click which is just

Part of its software and uh well you can do that here yep pretty uh crazy and super nice i mean i guess i don’t have to sit here and wait a whole long period of time for this to work i guess so one nice thing about this cobblestone

Generator over here is i can just use the hammer to constantly break it and it’s gonna it’s just gonna generate gravel for me immediately instead of me needing to place it but i still need to get things like sand for example and the way you do that is by

Still using a hammer um so i’m still going to need all of this cobblestone to of course make these hammers there we go um and uh yeah this is how we’re gonna break things down into dust uh of course sand this is gonna break down into sand and then from there

We can break it down into dust and dust can be used for clay sand can be used for sieving uh seeds and things like that there’s all kinds of stuff this can be used for of course it’s also used for making glass a good thing i can actually

Access this over here we have charcoal in here but i believe this is the burning side so i can burn and over here is the part that needs to be cooked and what we should end up with is with a furnace that’s on maybe yeah furnace that’s on and making glass

So we can actually control it from this crafting station it just still blows my mind so at the moment i have some iron cooking but i think we should probably get ourself a cobblestone gin going now i do want to go ahead and upgrade this i think it’s definitely worth um

Upgrading to the iron mesh uh leaving us with three iron ingots which we can use to make a bucket which is going to be super useful because we actually need to use this to get a cobblestone generator going um however water is another story um there is a way though that we can

Get extra water uh and that is going to come from the wooden crucible so we can actually use a wooden crucible here to generate ourselves some water uh to do that we’re probably gonna need to use some of this flint that we have stored in here uh we’re gonna make ourself

A flint shear yeah we should be able to do it just like this let’s see lint hopefully i have some available there we go this is from cyclic very nice and uh yeah we just need some saplings right so saplings trees all of this should work hopefully it doesn’t grow like a massive

Tree on me just need a small one there we go and semi-massive i guess all right so with this with the leaves we should be able to fill this and give it a little bit of time does it need heat i wouldn’t have thought it needed heat maybe it does need heat

I guess that kind of makes sense i think we can put it under this ah there it goes so as you can see it is generating water at a slow rate but it will generate enough water to create a full bucket it’s gonna take a little bit of time but

While we’re waiting of course we have time to mesh some more stuff now that we have an iron mesh things should go a little bit faster look at this it’s crazy it’s crazy how fast this goes like oh man it’s it’s insane like with a hammer

Let’s just put this i just want to show you this so with the hammer i can go over here i can bump my head up against this and just just harvest gravel for a while and then just use the auto clicker i mean you don’t have to use the auto

Clicker if you feel like it’s cheating then you know so be it um but for me doesn’t really bother me too much look at that we just sieved all of that oh we get so much more now and i think iron unlocks the potential for diamonds to be unlocked

That might be the case yes we do have the potential for diamonds now oh things are things are getting nice we’re starting to unlock some new stuff appetite is bone meal oh maybe i wonder if we even need to make a moth farm early on i don’t

I mean we may do that next episode i’m sure eventually we’re gonna need bone mill right right maybe not i don’t know oatmeal can we get bone meal from sieving oh my gosh we can maybe we don’t need it because clay is pretty easy to come by as well

Once we get an infinite water source which we’re about to have so after a little bit of waiting i also did some more sieving as you can see we now have three diamonds two emeralds which is pretty nice um i can now pick up a bucket of water

Very nice um down here i’m actually going to place this water it’s going to go here and then i’m going to grab that water from up there and uh well now we have an infinite water source right here so i should be able to just plop another spot up there i probably don’t

Want to use glass to bridge up there we go and we can set this thing back up because i still want to use this thing like i still like it but we now have a hidden sort of a hidden source of water here we don’t worry about it being in the way

We just walk up grab our bucket of water and we’re ready to go so there are a couple different ways that we can make a cobblestone generator i really want to show this way um even though there is another way from the pedestals mod that may be a little quicker than this

Um also we really haven’t touched much on the uh quests that are here even though that would you know probably grant me an extra bucket of water and uh lava which uh honestly gets us a cobblestone generator right away um because i don’t have to worry about removing lava from over there

Um there’s another way though to generate lava we’re gonna be getting into that later on um but like i said i wanna get into this mod and it’s as simple as this this is a cobblestone gin cobble for days we didn’t have to make this we could have just used the quest and

Bam we got this right away uh but i did want to show this like this stuff is is always good to see and good good to know so a chest and uh we just kind of plop this down somewhere how about we uh we stick it back here and uh hopefully it’s not

Putting cobblestone into this somehow should put it into the chest there we go um it does have a feature where it does push but it is a pretty cool looking block it’s a cool looking generator not gonna lie i like it so guys i hope you enjoyed today’s
