BATTLE MODE!? – Minecraft PS4 Battle Mini Game Gameplay – Episode 1

– [Zebra Gamer] Whoa, whoa, whoa! No, no, no, no, no! What’s up guys and welcome to Minecraft Playstation 4 Battle Mode. If you guys don’t know the battle mode mini-game, the first ever official mini-game has made its way to Minecraft console edition, and I am so darn excited. So let’s get started. I figure we’ll start off with our own private lobby.

Unfortunately, the servers are sort of messed up right now ’cause so many people are trying to join at one right now. Usually you can go ahead and just join a random game, but for right now we are actually just going against, oh look at that, somebody joined! Hi, hello how are you?

Hopefully we get more people joining in here, but basically these are all just PSN friends and just random public people who should be able to join. So that’s really awesome. It might start off with a 1V1 with this guy, the king. Oh gosh, am I going to be able to beat the king?

I mean I am the king of the jungle. It’s king versus king. Well let’s see if anybody else joins in. Hopefully they do, that’ll be really darn cool. In the meantime, we’ll enjoy it with as many people as we can. It’s cool because we sort of have like, this little parkour area here.

What is up this ladder? Fancy things maybe? Oh, I’m going up. There you go, somebody else joined! This is awesome! But of course this will be my first time ever playing, so if I am super bad, please do excuse it, but it’s going to be a lot of fun no matter what. Oh and more people are pouring in right now! That is awesome! And the time to game change at 13 seconds.

10 seconds, more people are pouring in! This is great! Recently my friends was maxed out so I’m glad that people are actually active. That’s pretty darn cool. The timer’s going off right now. Oh and some people just got in. Oh my gosh, I’m so excited! I do not know how to play.

What are the colors under my life bar? I have no clue but whoa this is scary! We’ve got like ender dragon over there. Whoa, whoa, okay hold on, hold on. What button, no I pressed the wrong button. I don’t know how to get anything. Oh, okay, okay, okay!

Let’s see, I don’t think I can hurt them right now. Invulnerability wears off in seven seconds so in the meantime, I’m gonna get the heck outta here. Whoa look at my… Okay, whoa, whoa, whoa. Okay nobody’s chasing me down. This is insane guys! Okay so he’s gonna come up here!

Ooh, I got that on you. Instant damage huh? Ooh oh no he’s doing the same to me though! Come on, come on, come on! Oh and somebody was slain. Oh, can I go over there and catch him? First person slain of the night. Oh gosh! Okay I gotta hit him with the stick!

Hit him with the stick! Come on, hit him with the stick! I don’t know if this is working. This is an enchanted stick we’re hitting him with. Aw, come on, can I get him? Can I get that random guy? That’s literally his name. Oh, come on, aw man. This is a battle to the finish. No, somebody else is coming in! Aw, he got me. Wow, that’s really fast. And now we can actually, are we? We’re a little bat! That is adorable! Where’d they go? Where are the dudes who killed me? I wanna go and spectate them. Probably over here it looks like. Oh, the chest refilled. It’s a battle to the end,

But ZombieCrusher wins the first game. Or the ender dragon, or whatever he is. So oh, I guess it was colors are whoever is in the game. That’s very cool. So, as you can see, I’m officially really bad at the game. What is this, uh, witch, favorite weapon.

Oh cool, everybody gets their own little medallions. Uh, that is really cool. The most generic. Let’s see, treasure hunter. That was awesome. Say hello. So I’m hoping that people don’t just focus me now just because, I guess, you know, I’m a YouTuber or whatever. But you never know.

Whoa, was that the sack boy? Oh look at that, it’s a sack boy costume. We got some crazy stuff going on right now. This is so cool. But yeah, I definitely wanna do a bunch of episodes with this. Is anybody chasing me down this? Oh, they are, they are, they are, run, run, run. I’m gonna run on my little zebra legs, get up here. Okay, it’s gonna wear off in three seconds, so ready, set. Oh wait, there’s a chest over here. Mm, mm, got it, all right.

Where are you guys at? Where are you guys at? Ready? Oh, I missed, I missed, I missed. I’m not good with PvP. I’ve never PvPed on console edition before. Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on. No, I’m in the lava. I’m in the lava. No, I was in fire. Okay, this is bad, this is bad. What is this doing?

I don’t know this texture pack, too. Oh gosh, that was exciting. That was really exciting. So we got like a full lobby of people, don’t we? Is there any way to like, chat? I don’t know. I actually do not know. Uh, I guess not. Huh. I guess it doesn’t matter. I was gonna say like gg or something. But it’s okay, we don’t need a chat. All right, there’s nothing going on over here. Man, this is so cool, though. Look at this map, this map is gigantic.

Of course, I’m gonna be bad at first. It’s my first time ever playing online with Minecraft console edition. And it’s my first time ever doing PvP with console edition. So a lot to learn, but it’s gonna be fun. It’s gonna be real fun. I can’t believe we already got a huge, you know,

Party of people in here. I know a lot of you guys who are in this are viewers. Thank you guys so much for joining. And I know I made it public, so some of these people might actually be randoms as well, so. ZombieCrusher oh no was slain by somebody.

I was the first person to get slain. Everybody hunted me down. All right, so, hm. So is there any way to, oh, we can just switch between players, too. Oh jeez, this guy’s getting beat up. What is he getting beat up from? Is it hunger? I think it was hunger.

Oh, look at him. He’s got some stuff. I gotta learn these texture packs, too. I wish it wouldn’t change it, but at the same time, i totally get why it does. It fits the map. Hm. All right, this is so cool. All right, is he trying to attack the bat?

He can’t, it’s a spectator. All right, this guy’s like, oh are these guys teaming up? Ah, I see it. Good idea. I like riding solo with this kinda stuff, but I don’t mind if other people team up. I get it. All right, oh, there goes somebody else. There’s four people who remain.

And it doesn’t look like there’s any kind of timer, either. So it’s just a battle to the finish here. I imagine there’d be teams sometimes, and then people just turn on the teammates. Oh, okay. Thought he was just about to do that. All right, um, but there are four people remaining. This guy.

Oh, he’s just chilling by the chests, okay. It looks like there’s almost like an animation that happens. Can I actually? Let’s see. Can I see what’s in the chests? I guess I can’t. It’s very weird. I can make a little cheep noise though. Cheep cheep cheep! Oh God, these two are fighting.

Oh, he fell off into the water and almost fell into the fire like I did. Aw, jeez, this is so cool. All right, so what is he gonna do? Oh, he’s knocking him back, he’s knocking him back. Can he do it? Oh no! Aw, okay then. So it’s still four people, no, ThatRandomGuy.

Or no, Fahritza, okay, cool, I can’t pronounce that very well, so. Okay, and Dargaz was slain. Okay, it’s just two people, ThatRandomGuy and Chirpeep. Or Chirpapeep. All right, this is scary. I don’t know if maybe there’s a diss in, a damage that happens, ’cause like, he’s getting hurt but I don’t.

Is it because he’s low on hunger? Because of course Chirpeep over here is not getting hurt. I guess he’s low on hunger. Wow, maybe hunger reduces even faster than normal. Look at all these bats just flying around. And Chirpeep won, he died from hunger. Wow, what a way to win. Very good, good job. Awesome. Geronimo! Boing. This is so much fun. I love this little waiting area. It’d be cool if they made multiple waiting areas and like maybe you can buy them as a DLC pack. That’d be cool.

Well it’s cool, cause there’s just like this whole little parkour area over here, you know? Aw, and you can just see outside to the outside world. So wonderful. All right, let’s get started with the next game. I wonder what map we’re gonna do now. ‘Cause this is really fun.

I’m like, I’m having so much fun. That’s the thing. It’s like, I enjoy this, because we do not need to play well to have a good time. Where are the chests? Are there chests down there? Uh. There is, okay. Boom, get that. Boom, get this. Ooh, okay, okay, okay.

So I got myself, what is this? This is a fire aspect one shovel. All right, we gotta go somewhere. We gotta go somewhere where there aren’t dudes. I might just have to chase this dude though. Two, one. Okay, I’m getting him, I’m getting him. He’s on fire now, that is so cool. We got a fire shovel. Or a fire spoon, whatever you might wanna call it. Okay, I’m stuck, oh jeez. That was weird. Okay, so the carpets will make you stop.

All right, I need, water is like my enemy right now though. I gotta be careful. All right, though, let’s run back over this way. There’s people running across all over the place. Jump for it. Oh, no, I missed him, I missed the platform and everything.

Okay, I gotta get out of this water right now before somebody drives on me. Oh, no no no no. I’m gonna get you. I’m gonna get you. I’m gonna get you. Aw. All right, oh no, somebody’s shooting their arrows though. Come on, come on, come on. Ooh, boy, oh, boy. Everybody’s hitting everybody. This is intense. I think there are people behind me right now. Okay, come on, come on. Get this guy, get this guy. Or anybody. No, there’s like three people chasing me. There’s like a bunch of people chasing me. Ah, he got me. Am I always the first person to die?

Whoa, look at this emerald cave though. That is cool. Hm, so where are, yup, I’m the first person to die. Again. Looks like I wasn’t that far off from being the second person, somebody just died right now. Oh boy. But it’s cool though, of course these maps,

You have to run them a little bit. You have to learn where the chests are. So that’s still fine. All right, so who’s gonna be winning here? We’ve got six contestants still about here. Ooh, it looks like some people are ready to get out of here. Some people, like,

I don’t think ZombieCrusher’s attacked anybody. He’s been just running around in circles. Oh, there he goes, there he goes. Oh boy. Okay then. And we have been playing casual games. There’s casual and competitive. In casual you actually play as skins that, you know, might be more of an advantage.

Say the yoda skin is apparently smaller. But there’s also competitive. I don’t really care for that too much. Maybe at some point, so. I don’t know. For now, we are just enjoying the game. All right, there are three contestants remaining. Now two, oh gosh, the final battle is happening right now.

Smacking him with a stick. He has an ax, though. Ooh, and he won, the stick prevailed, because he’s, she’s got her, I guess it’s a she. It’s a female texture, so. She’s got them golden pants, and of course, the best pants always win. All right, everybody is playing awesome so far.

This is great. We have still a lot of players in here. One, do we, whoa, nope, people just left. So it looks like we have six people right now, though. That’s what we’ve always been having. I’m not sure what the maximum is. I’m gonna guess it’s 10,

’cause it looks like we have enough slots for 10. Uh, no no no no no. I don’t wanna cancel anybody. Hello. Hello, how are you? Well yeah, we got a lot of people in here right now. So, I was the least deadly. I’m a little chicken.

All right, so it looks like these two people. They’re here, they’re just, they were in the last game. All right, then. So yeah, we’re definitely gonna be playing a little bit more of this. I figure each episode will probably be about 20 to 30 minutes.

Of course, the livestreams will be much longer, so. You’re definitely gonna be able to have a higher chance of joining those ones. But I made the game length, I don’t know if we can map vote. Oh, we can, okay. Oh, wait a minute. Aw, there are some cool ones here.

Let’s go ahead for the temple. And then, oh that looks so cool. I think that’s where we just were though. I don’t wanna do the, no no no no. No no no no no. Got it. I don’t know if other people can map vote, but we’re flying down.

I mean, I am the host, so. I might just be able to rule all. All right, this is new. This is for sure new. Three, two, one. Ooh, I got diamond armor? No? What? What was that? I picked it up. I guess I wasn’t fast enough, huh. Dang it. Well I got nothing. Okay, let’s get out of here. I swear that I got that. Am I pressing the right button to pick things up? I think it’s L1.

I think that’s the button you wanna press. I just guess somebody was beating me to the punch. I was so close to getting some diamond armor though. That’s just such a lucky pick up. Okay, I gotta be careful though, because people might be chasing me around from every which way.

Oh gosh, somebody’s already fallen, which means, we’re not the first person to die this run! Oh gosh! Don’t do it, don’t do it, no no no, gosh. Camera, come on, come on, come on. Don’t, aw. Well, at least we weren’t, okay. We weren’t the first person to die. But that’s a step up.

I just, I don’t know. It’s definitely, it’s something to get used to is this opposed to PC. Wow, look at this. It’s a little dragon thing. I like this one, the music is roaring right now, too. All right, we got some intense stuff going on right now.

But yeah, right now there’s one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight players. No, I don’t wanna kick anybody. I just wanna get out of this mode, okay. This view. Trust me, the last thing I wanna do is kick people. Yeah, there’s two people, three people down. Five people remaining, oh, okay.

Let’s see, ThatRandomGuy’s up here. Emojis05 is up there. Wow, how’d you get up here? That’s pretty cool. Oh, he fell. Oh boy, this guy’s got a golden helmet. Going on in, okay, cool. Oh. That’s such a cool temple though. These maps are awesome. Oh boy. Oh, the chests have been refilled, I believe. I think that’s what that thing on the top right means. I don’t see what else it could mean.

Instead of it being, the chest has gobbled the swords. But I don’t see why they’d do that, so. I wanna assume that it means the chests have been refilled. But look at this RandomGuy, he’s going against Emoji. And he’s doing okay. Ooh, he took him down. Oh, jeez.

This guy’s getting taken down, NPJS. Oh, and he’s down, all right. Then it remains two. Oh gosh, this is intense. You can definitely see who like the top players are, ’cause it seems like the same like group of people are making it to the end every time. So that’s super interesting.

But yeah, we’re gonna be playing a big bunch of these ’cause I’m having so much fun. All right, oh, ooh, go for him, go for him. This is the guy who got the diamond chest plate. You can see how a lucky chest in the beginning can really determine how much you’re gonna win.

Because I’ve noticed that it doesn’t give you too many swords besides wood, but. The guy with the diamond chest plate. So if I could have gotten that, maybe I could have won, who knows. I’m gonna go ahead and say that maybe if I was better at picking up things from chests, maybe.

But gg, what a game. What was my, I got ninja. Why did I get ninja? I don’t know, hm. Let’s see. But I defeated, I got defeated by somebody. I wanna defeat at least one person. I don’t think I have yet, so. That’s gonna be a challenge, right? What was in that, wait.

What are people getting from this chest over here? Is there anything? Let’s see, boop. Boop. Okay, so it is L1. Whoa, wait, what is this? Oh, it’s like a mini game where I can hit the buttons. All right, so I can practice my bow and arrow skills if I’d like.

Aw, that’s super cool, I like that. Ready? Boop. Oh, did I get that one? No, I guess I missed. All right, got it. So if you really need to practice some of your bow and arrow skills, this is the place to do it. Is there any place, oh.

Am I supposed to stand like over here? Can I hit other people? I don’t know if I wanna try. Just gonna go ahead and keep hitting these buttons. Ooh, wait. Okay, what happens? Okay, it doesn’t do anything. I was gonna say, I was gonna feel super bad if it did.

All right, let’s get into our next game, though. Oh boy. Gonna start in a few seconds. This one is tough. We need to be able to parkour our way over there. Ready, set, go, now! Oh, jeez. I always double tap, and it just, it doesn’t work.

All right, everybody’s taking stuff out of that chest. I just better go ahead and split out of here. Maybe one thing I should try to do, I don’t know if it’s worth doing, is just finding a good hiding spot right off the bat. You know? Like don’t even look at the chest,

’cause I have no clue. Get up there. Ooh, I hit you! I hit you! That was great! Whoa, this potion’s speed is really crazy. It’s hard to keep up with. Whoa, but somebody got slain again. Oh gosh, I’m scared, guys. I’m scared, I’m really scared. Ooh, gonna run off this way. Ooh.

I’m gonna go ahead and eat up while I have the chance. Nobody’s even chasing me this round. What is this, a potion of fire resistance. I’ll get I’ll put this on. Hi, bat. I’ve never seen a bat look at me before because usually I’m the bat first. Okay, there’s nothing in there.

So I think at this point, all the chests have probably been looted. I gotta just sorta wait around until more chests are available. Hm. Okay, who’s alive right now? Uh, there are one, two, three, four, five, six people still alive. Uh. All right, I don’t know how to like draw back my bow.

Oh, I see you, I see you over there. I see you. Whoa, you’re lagging out though, dude. You are lagging out. Okay, oh, he’s chasing, no no no no no. No, mm. Okay, no no no no no no. I’m trying to, why does my camera keep changing?

And why am I trying to run, and it’s like, not being able to run. All of my arrows are out though. So if I can’t get something cool here. Oh, wait wait wait. I’m pressing all the wrong buttons. It’s so tough. Ooh. Oh boy, why, why? I didn’t even press anything.

That was so weird. It opened up the chest for me when I didn’t press anything. Okay then. We made it so far though, that was awesome. All right, then, cool, we’re gonna fly on over here. I can squeak at people. Squeaky squeak squeak. Fly over here. So where is everybody right now, so I can go ahead. Start squeaking at people. Like this is the guy who killed me. Can I start squeaking at him, maybe? If I can know the buttons? It doesn’t let me leave right now. Okay, there you go. Squeaky squeak squeak.

That’s what you get for getting me. Squeaky squeak. Squeaky squeak to you. All right then, but I’m having so much fun. Like, I don’t mind losing if we’re having a good time. I mean, I made it farther than I ever have. I got close to taking people out. I hit a few people.

Oh jeez, and there’s a big brawl happening here at the center. Three people, the final three people are just sitting here smacking each other. Ooh, one goes down. It’s down to two now. And Fahritzal wins, very good. What a brawl, we haven’t seen it like that before. Awesome.

So it seems like you can get tons of different armor, but it seems like you can never really get more than wood weapons. All right, so once again I got zero slain. That’s the thing. It’s like, if we could get one slain person by the end of this episode, I’ll be happy.

All right, so, apparently I got the marksman thing. That’s cool. Hm. All right then. Let’s go ahead back out of here. How many people do we have, right? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Still eight people. Very, very cool. Oh, I picked up that arrow.

It’s mine now, you can’t have it. Ooh, bounce away. No, I can’t jump over this. I love how everybody’s just following me around though. All right then. So we have about 30 seconds and we’ll have one more game. This might be our last game for the day, we’ll have to see. But either way, I’ve had a blast.

Hopefully you guys have, too. I’m glad to see. I’m hoping that there’ll be more mini-games in the future for Minecraft console. Because of course, this was in the mini-games section. Like, little tab thing. So definitely was alluding that there’s going to be more, which is just crazy awesome.

What can we do up here? This ladder doesn’t really lead to much. All right let’s get started for what might be the last one. Whoa. Now this is like, so many different kinds of spooky. We’ve got five seconds till the game starts. Ooh. What is with that one? That skull on the ground. Oh, come on, boom, got it. Boom, got it.

Nope, I couldn’t get that. All right, I’m running. I’m running, no, I keep on pressing the wrong buttons now. All right, so I got some chainmail. Oh jeez, this guy’s chasing me, too. Okay, I don’t wanna hop down there. All right, turn around, turn around, turn around, turn around. I’m gonna go knock you into fire then. Okay, come on, come on, come on, everybody for themselves. Oh gosh. He’s hitting me good, aw. Dang it. What am I doing wrong there? I had good armor. I had the same weapon as he did.

I was hopping in the air to hit him. I don’t really know what I did wrong. All right, well, I’m the first one to die again. All right, then, what is going on over here? There’s some weird beam. Is that like, signifying something? I guess not.

The people are getting taken out left and right. It’s only, already four people remaining. This guy’s just shaking his head yes, listening to the good tunes. I guess he is. All right, but that’s where I was taken out, so. Maybe he’s just still celebrating. Oh gosh, that guy just fell in the lava.

All right, three people remaining. This guy only has some boots to him. Doesn’t have too much more. The chests have been refilled though. Is anybody gonna do anything about it? Seems like this guy is making his way over. All right. Now she is running off this way.

This is intense, the music is so good. I love how they have a brand new score of music for all this. Hm. Everybody’s sorta stagnant right now, keeping to the, he’s trying to attack the bats. Doesn’t work that way. Yeah, I’ll just go ahead. Oh no, it looks like they have found themselves,

Or each other. Oh no, oh gosh, he pulled out his arm. Is that like a hat trick he’s got it going on there? People try to attack him ’cause he looks like he’s weak, then he pulls out all of his armor? ‘Cause that’s interesting. But now it’s down to two.

Wow, they are two very separate parts of the map. But they are starting to get closer I believe. Yup, he’s way over there, and, look at this. Oh gosh, she’s closing in on him. Chasing him down, ooh. All right, very awesome. Ooh. This is a cool view we got here.

Oh, can we burn alive as a bat? I guess not, squeak squeak. Oh boy. Aw, and there it goes. Well since I lost right away, I think we’ll fit in one more game. She hops right into the lava to celebrate, that’s awesome. I am Zebra Zombie, ooh.

Somebody just walked over and gave me that, so I figured I’d sport it for a moment. I don’t know how you get those, though. I don’t know if you can unlock those or something? That’s so cool, though. I wanna just, same map again. All right, will we have a repeat?

Or will things turn out even better this time? We got ourselves eight players. It seems like that’s sort of the hot spot right now, is eight players. I think that might be the maximum. All right, I got something. You know what that means? I’m peacing out. I’m getting out of here.

Whoa, get over that. All right, then. I don’t know if I should look behind me, see who’s chasing me or not. Or is there anything over here that there isn’t. There really isn’t anything over here. I got myself a bow and arrow. We got ourselves a potion of swiftness.

Let me go ahead and drink that up now. Look around for anybody who might be chasing me. I’m gonna go over here and get this chest. Ooh, some good stuff in there. This is gonna be a potion of instant health. All right, and then a potion of slowness.

Okay, now I’m gonna go over here and start hitting you, and then, hitting you with a bow and arrow. Ooh, where you hopping off to? Whoa, whoa whoa whoa whoa. No no no no no no! Come on! Dang it. Everybody just starts hating on me. Aw well, that was a lot of fun.

Don’t jump off, oh wow, there’s a chest over there. That’s interesting, I didn’t know that was there. All right, so let’s start flying around. Aw man. Still though, some awesome competition happening. I would like play like another episode right after this to keep, you know, practicing and everything. Oh, but they’re down.

He was about to knock her off, when she was able to beat him. That’s crazy. What’s going on over here though? I guess somebody could make like a leap of faith over to this line, but. I don’t know if that’s worth it. Jeez, this is an interesting map.

There’s like a lot of strategy you can weave into this one. Oh boy, the chests have been refilled though. Hm. All right, cool. So who’s still alive? We’ve got three people still alive right now. So why don’t we go ahead and check them out. We got this person over there.

Oh, she’s attacking Fahritza, all right, cool. Oh, who’s gonna win this one? The battle. The battle continues, oh, ooh. Come one, get him, get him, get him. Ooh, okay, okay. Oh man. And there you go, cool. So that, she wins that battle. Emoji’s running around here with his kilt.

I think that’s a kilt. It looks like a kilt, but maybe I’m wrong. Maybe it’s just plaid pants. Emoji’s running on over this way. Where is Team_LBI, or LBI-Hub? Uh, looks like over there. I don’t know how far away they are from each other right now.

Looks like one of them is trying to get to other. He’s just having a fun, fun little day, just running around like la di da di da. Wait, find a chest here. Is he waiting for something? Is he gonna pull everything out at the last moment? Not sure.

She’s staying around the center, though. I love the look of the chainmail, though. It looks so cool. Oh gosh, they’ve been spotted. They both have spotted each other. Their eyes meet and the battle begins. Who’s gonna win? Oh no, oh no, this is not looking good. Oh man, and he fell.
