Well hello everybody and welcome back to another episode of building with sausage this is mythical sausage here hello what is up how is everybody doing man today we’re back doing another tutorial this time we’re gonna be doing a lighthouse and I got a pretty cool color palette I

Recently got some inspiration and I wanted to go ahead and just build it right now I’m kami can but go with a different kind of the color palette that we’re used to and again you don’t have to use any of these specific blocks you can use it as inspiration change the

Blocks up put anything you like but hopefully you like it let’s let’s flip let’s start this up so for this this is the outline we have going it’s gonna start out with a fatty base alright a thick base and then we’re gonna get a little skinnier and skinnier as we get

Up to the tippy top and this is the materials were going with a bunch of red bricks so red bricks some smooth red sandstone substan stone of red regular ones looks like Cabo but red some stone bricks and we’re getting this red in there I really want to try a red lighthouse

Also we’re bringing these some never breaks another brick stairs and slabs also I’m gonna bring in a couple little things along the way but this mostly for texture right here but this is super super cool and again we’re using upward Jersey boys pack so if you guys want to

After we do the initial foundation so let’s do it now with regular brick so I’m gonna go right here on this corner let’s go up from this this is counted out so this is a 1 2 3 4 5 right we’re gonna turn the corner put a 1 turn the

Corner 1 2 3 4 5 up another one and again 1 2 3 4 5 1 1 2 3 4 5 1 so that is your base start out point so let’s take all these up I’m thinking by 5 so this

Is already 1 2 3 4 5 so let’s go up by 5 on all of these now there’s a real real fast so we can cut it up right here we go alright we have everything up by 5 looking pretty I love it now this is

What I’m gonna do from this point I want to take it to another level up so let’s go in here this place to play holder blocks in here so let’s go one every other one like this one every other one like that one every other one like this and again every other one

Let’s grab some stairs of our bricks I’m gonna put them over here and it’s gonna look cool from the inside so let’s just do like this for now Bom Bom there we go now let’s do this I’m gonna come inside here and let’s lift this up

Right here let’s go one two three four five here one two three four five here another five and another five just like this okay then I’m gonna bring one in on every corner like this then this is what i’ma do I’m gonna go one two three one

Here one two three one there one two three one here another one two three and one here so that’s gonna look like this now okay cool now let’s go right on this side we’re gonna lift this up now we’re gonna leave all these corner bits for now but we’re

Gonna start lifting this up here so let’s start counting from here listen actually mr. County from here so one two right then three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen sixteen seventeen eighteen nineteen nineteen up I think that’s a good number

Now let’s do it again on every one of these right around here this little kind of circle let’s lift all these up by 19 okay through this past alright perfect we have it up by nineteen now let’s work on the next section and we’re gonna detail

Everything up as we go along but let’s go up here real fast I’m gonna start doing this that’s actually do some some structure work here let’s get some of the nether brick stairs I’m gonna put some nether brick stairs like this one here one here let’s go one here one here

Let’s go one here and there here and here go there and there upside down on this and that let’s go here and then and then here and there I love it now let’s grab some brick and I’m gonna go hit with this crap actually some slab

First let’s do never break a slab there it is perfect let’s move that over there then I’m gonna put slab on every one that I missed in the middle just like this just like that perfect then I’m gonna lift up right from here we’re gonna lift

Some of this up so we’re gonna go up by one and two one and two let’s go up to here to here to every other one well everyone actually set for this little middle piece right here there we go so we’re lifting all these up just a little

Way around like so nothing too crazy then I’m gonna grab the brick again let’s grab this brick here this cover this little piece up this little piece up here this little piece here this little piece right there and we have this little way around looking look at

So cool I love that then watch this we’re gonna go inside here and then we’re gonna do something this as she come in here let’s cover this up right here cover that up cover all these up all those little gaps here so we don’t have any space right there we’re gonna

Cover this up once we cover this up right here on this end we’re gonna start popping some stuff out okay watch this but first right on the tippy top I’m gonna do one layer around like so one layer like this one layer like this one layer like that then I’m gonna go ahead

And pop some stuff up here so let’s go with another upside-down stare right here right there right here right there here here here hold on wait what do we go yes here here and then right in the middle I’m gonna go with a slab right there slab here slab right there right

There and a slab right here so we have this little edge to her like that I love it this looks so cool then let’s actually go up here I’m gonna do almost like a little railing here so let’s grab four blocks I’m gonna do a full block every other one like this

Full block like this point all the way around and there we go so we have this little look now let’s get some fence and let’s also get some nether brick fence which is the best I love it so we’re gonna put another brick fence all the way around and these little gaps

Here so nobody falls over just like that good perfect then I’m gonna grab some slabs again let me see I got one right there let’s grab some slash and put it on top of every one except for those little middle in between gaps right there so right around here perfect so we have

This cool little look to it I love that then on the inside right here this is what we’re gonna do there’s gonna be a little walkway but it’s bad this another brick again I’m gonna put a little ring around this another brick just like this just like

That then up top here we’re gonna lift this so the only ways out let’s actually do this is take these out right here this we get a little bit of clearance in between each right then I’m gonna put a stair going on each side just so you

Have a little more detail on the top here so when you come up you have this little spot greeting you with some more detail so right here all the way around then I’m gonna have a little little walkways you can come kind of come out

And look from here so let’s lift this up though I’m gonna go up here by one two three four five let’s go up by five on all of these with the black another brick and I love this black made a break on jurors pack I think if you do regular nether brick is

Still gonna look okay if anything another replacement for these if you want to keep almost like a black look to it black terracotta black concrete might actually look pretty good as well but you won’t have to say upstairs but it still look good and then we have this

Little look up here let’s actually take this up actually a little more because it looks good but I want to have a one more level of clearance let’s take it up one more for a six one more now once we’re here I’m gonna go again with another upside down stare loveliness so

Upset on stairs on all of these right here in the corner bits in the center bits in the corner bits we’re gonna have some of the slabs so we’re gonna put a slab here here here all the way around and every gap and in every corner just

Like that so looking really really cool then watch this I’m gonna put slabs here here here here all the way around just skipping that little middle gap right there and then here we’re gonna start putting some glass so for this one let’s see what is the

Best glass we can use for this I think clear just a clear glass will look pretty good maybe a white actually let’s do a white glass let’s do some white so I’m gonna put white right there let’s go I think this might stand out even more

Yes so let’s go up right here one two three I think let’s do it three four now let’s take a step back take a look and see if it needs to be a little taller but we’re gonna go all the way around like this and we still got some details

To do so don’t even worry I think we’re good with maybe one more one more here let’s take a step back oh that looks awesome okay now let’s do this just cap it off right here with the details so let’s actually do I’m gonna go with this

Let’s do what we did down here let’s go with upset downstairs in the corner bits just like this then we’re gonna port the same style with it down there so let’s grab some slabs I’m gonna put slabs every other one so it’s give it a nice

Little roof around the top then here I don’t want to go with nothing too big so let’s go with how about we do this let’s grab a full block right here let’s go with full blocks right around like so like so let’s go with let’s go with some stairs actually right here

Upside down stairs on this side upside down stairs on this side slabs all the way around like so that’s looking cool I like that then how about we let this tweak some stuff now let’s go with a slab slab slab slab lets magically take these down a little bit I want to make

This not as as a big peak I want to make it kind of rounded and small like that there we go and then in the inside is grab a full block and I think something small like that that would actually look pretty good I like that

And then let’s grab a fence and I’m gonna put a little fence on top just one fence I think yeah just one little fence right there that looks so good okay now we’re at a good a good place right now the whole structure is pretty much done

Okay now let’s do a little bit of texturing let’s add somewhere let’s add some details to bring more life into it okay cool right let’s do it so first thing I want to do to add some life they start from the bottom so right here let’s do a little bit of texturing

Okay and this is how I’m gonna do my texturing let’s actually I got rid of some stuff here let’s see the red sandstone let’s take the glass over let’s take these away I think this is perfect so now what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna dirty it up so let’s texture a

Little bit together and they you just replicate it on your own or you can keep it clean like this but this let’s do some textures to make it look a little fancier so what I’m gonna do is on the bottom I’m gonna rough it up even more

And rough it up less going up so it’s starting down here I’m gonna use a lot of this red sandstone then I’m gonna actually pop in the door pop in some windows but let’s actually I’m gonna go in here let’s just do this side right here together and I’ll do the rest off

Cammie camps you can see it kind of hot what I have in mind but right here I’m gonna mess it all up see that click that then grab some smooth let’s grab some smooth here and move that around as well more down to the bottom also gonna bring

In some sandstone brick and let’s texture that as well and look how messy and cool that looks I like that so something like this and then as we get up to the top it’s just do this layer together let’s do less and less so let’s do a little more over here

Let’s go like so and I’ll let you know where I’m gonna pop into Windows and stuff like that so right here pretty dirty let’s go ahead and do a little more here still in that phase that you’re doing a lot of broken up jobs here so once we get to maybe this level

Around here we’re gonna put less and less let’s go here to skip some spots there we go and now a little less and a little less get it up to the top still a little bit up here but not too much very less messy right here let’s put some on

This side this is the dirty side so let’s keep going with this put a little more the brick action like it so pop these in there we go so something like that you sees messy at the bottom and as you keep going up less and less until

It’s just a little plain up top and that gives us so much neater so much atmosphere to this thing looks like it’s been through stuff but let me do this I’m gonna put it all the way around and just continuing I’ll show you would add

Two windows and what to do on the bottom all right here we go look how cool this looks now I had a little more I have gradient on the bond a little bit more texture just to break it up a little bit and I love it so I added a

Little bit of this granite right here these are Granite’s this brighter red and then the anti sites here the polish and the regular just to break it up even more I don’t think I want to go too tall with it maybe a little more up but I

Think we’re good I think we’re good I know there’s a slight tweak that I want to do is I love this part here that you see this little strip of brick but I want to give it a little more brick is a lot of dark stones appear so what if we

Take these out so the lights weak you don’t have to do it on yours if you’re doing it right now but I think adding this little bit just a little bit more a break up here just gives it a little more flare to it I love it so I’m gonna

Go ahead and do that right here right right there perfect and look at that I knew it it adds so much more that’s awesome and then we have a lot of black up there so it looks awesome okay now next up let’s pop in some windows and a door in here

And then we’re gonna rough it up even more so I’m going with the door right in here so let’s knock down right inside let’s go one two and three let’s go in here oh it’s so dark oh that’s so dark okay that’s fine it’s all right here I’m

Gonna go with a little upside-down stare and that is our way in right inside yes so that’s perfect I might do a little overhang here in a second but let’s figure out what we want some windows also so I’m thinking about a window right here let’s see right about there

Actually you know what let’s lift this up I’m gonna leave it just like that’s a window right here window right here window right here and that’s perfect let’s get that glass in here so we’re gonna go with the regular white again that we were using and let’s put that here here and here

Oh yeah perfect okay nice now another thing that I want to do is over here around this edge give it a trim to bring some of that black up here so let’s do this watch this so let’s go with bricks or brick stairs right here brick stairs

Right here right here another one right there let’s cover the full block in this little area right in this section and then right above that let’s go with some slabs and that’s gonna give it a little bit of an extra trim to it which oh I knew it

That looks so good look at that look at that little trim just a little bit man let’s work on some windows I don’t want to put too much I want to put maybe and what does it have to be symmetrical we could put it in different spots so I’m

Thinking let’s put one right here so this is one two three four five let’s take one two three four out let’s put a stair and right here and right here so two looks perfect then let’s take this one up so let’s see if there’s a gap

Here of one two three four and it is there if you come back down this way from here one two three four and it’s here we’re gonna go one two three four right there is that a good spot I like it I like it so then we could you know

What let’s do symmetry this one so it’s a two copper from here so we followed this way it’s gonna be right here this is make it easy and you can go ahead and not make it symmetrical you can go ahead and just play around with it put it

Anywhere but I’m just gonna go with symmetry in this stage it makes it easier for you guys to follow also so then we got this and now let’s go from this line right here let’s go from this line right here and let’s go from this line right here perfect and then we’re

Coming in with a glass to see what this looks like we can make it simple we don’t have to really do overhangs or anything crazy on the outside little awnings or trap doors or anything let’s make it clean this we already have the details in the texturing so that’s

Perfect and I love that oh there it’s awesome check that out isn’t that cool I love this lighthouse now let’s see for as far as interior wise to get inside let’s see plenty of space for stuff here look at that the natural light coming in

I love this is go up to the tippy top what happened here look up something broke I don’t know so now we need to put some doors right so let’s come outside for a second this will be the door for this oh I know what happened there

So let’s get right at this level okay the door will be right here so let’s do a little upset downstairs here and I know it’s not a big space to walk around but it’s fine we can actually if you do remove these we can go all the way

Around but then hmm what can we do here to block it we can do something like this actually hold on yeah let’s do this so we can walk all the way around it’s put some four blocks here right there and right okay that was already there

And we could put just to add a little more detail on there maybe a slab just to come down a little bit what do you guys think of that a little slab right there I like it okay let’s put a little slab right there oh right what hold on

Whoever does that they’re perfect and then looks good I think that looks good and it breaks it up a little bit now we can go all the way around if we take this bit out yes that makes more sense that makes more sense Gigi’s alright there we have it here we

Have a door here we have a door here we have a door in the middle here and we have another door right here perfect now the weight up I’m thinking just spiral staircase from top to bottom we can even do it in how about we get hmm I don’t

Know what use is a pillar would it be okay I think you see just some nether brick again might actually be the best thing for it so let’s just go all the way up with nether brick do we get to the very tip of the tippity-top so once

We get to here I don’t think a spiral steak is would make the most sense here I think a ladder might make more sense at this point maybe from here we can do spiral to like this level I think right here the second window we could do a spiral let’s just lay this

Down just so we know where to stop and where to keep going and then let’s do a quick little spiral to get down and then we’ll decide what the ladder goes so let’s come in here I’m gonna go with the nether brick again you can use anything

Though remember play around with it you do whatever you want so I’m gonna go straight up just like this and do our typical spiral staircase I’m just gonna do one one wide because it is a small gap we can’t really go too thick with it

So I’m just gonna go up like this so as I do my spirals so upside down stairs upside down stair and that that’s a twist right hand little twist job right right there and we’re just gonna keep going up so once we get to that second window I’m gonna know exactly where to

Start cutting stuff off from that floor and where to put that that ladder I think it’ll be best to put a ladder up there so this is gonna go straight up this takes forever but it’s fine we’re gonna keep twisted keep turning till we get to the tippity-top

Once we get to the tippity-top I think it’s almost we almost there yeah we’re almost there so let’s go here here here keep going we’re almost there we’re almost there I think we’re here okay let’s see where we’re gonna cut this piece off so we’re gonna go to put

One here I’m gonna go ahead and put one here here here take this so let’s take everything out for a second let’s go here up here here here and there and there perfect let’s fill this back in and I think that is a good one let’s see

Can I put a slab here and it’ll be okay can it no okay right here perfect so we’re gonna get right to this point and then we could put a ladder right here perfect so let’s go ladder right at this end and we’re just gonna go up with it so here ladder

Ladder ladder until we get to the middle and then once we’re here we can cover everything else up and just leave that little spot open and then we can put a trap door I’m gonna go with let’s go with dark oak we said think that would

Look the best as the darkest one and that’ll put us in here a little dangerous for that door but that’s fine and we have that going up that is awesome now this is the lighthouse after all we’re gonna drop a light right here totally so let’s go with our very cool

Glowstone I think you could dig it up if you use glowstone you can use love see lanterns maybe see lantus might look a little baby’s gonna go close down though so let’s go with a wall let’s go with our nether brick fence and I’m gonna go down

From here so let’s go to the wall in there take it down by no by one like that by one and this is gonna be glow glow glow and glow all of this is gonna be glow so just like that and then I’m gonna cover the bottom with the another

Bricks there and leave that open I’m gonna leave it all open so it’s gonna look really bright and nice look at that that’s it that’s awesome if you want you know there could be like maybe like almost like something hanging from here and then you can either turn like maybe

Like it’s like a light switch you turn it on and off I’ve no idea our lighthouses work so just do it like this you can turn it on and off like a like a good ol of light switch or whatever let’s go with the door here and I’m

Gonna go with the dark oak door and let’s drop the dark oak door all the way around like so and then on the outside we have like a little torch that’s fine drop a little torch all the way around that goes right here and it just goes

All the way around or we can also use the lantern and this is a 113 thank gem has but you can still you know play around with it maybe one in the middle extra light going all the way around like that and these are end rods in this

Pack eventually they’re gonna you can have lanterns in 1:14 so you can use it but for now and it’s just a little bit more to it right that’s so cool I think we’re done this is it we could also do a little terraforming on the bottom do some details in there

But as far as the lighthouse itself I think we’re good like that you could definitely play around with it messed it up we can even attach a building tour but I’m gonna make it simple simple lighthouse coming inside we can even do maybe put another light right there I’m

Gonna make it simple as the entrance where I’m not gonna really mess with that I think that’s good I think that’s good what you guys think of this lighthouse now cool I love it it’s super awesome definitely you can add this to your world this spot in this seed is so
