started getting into um like permissions like luck perms so that’s when I learned that you can can you want to know my issue before because people for some re people could not like have access to certain commands Because you have to set permissions did not know how to do that before 1.13 so before 1.13 servers that I have made I don’t have no clue how to set permissions so you guess what I did gave everyone operator so I don’t have to worry about it let’s go I no but don’t worry it’s my all my friends and S and [ __ ] so I was okay with giving everyone oper but like it was it was annoying for everyone because everyone has to every command so yeah on 1.14 onwards is when I learned about luck perms and when able To do permissions management and here I am today what point 20.2 yes oh my it works okay so okay the issue last night was yeah sorry sorry I’m listening but like I have to get this out reason the the issue that I was experiencing last night was that um cuz The way spawning works right now is that if to prevent people from resetting their spawn point to the Bedrock platform and getting a roll which would break the permissions and break the whole system unless I make a fix for it and make a roll function but No um the issue that I was experiencing last night that um if you set a if you set a home on water like outside of the island like just outside just near right next to an island on near the ocean on the sorry okay I’ll get to that in a second I’ll explain why I’m using set home um set home on water it would have an error where it says the is unsafe and it has that I don’t have safety teleport disabled even though I went to the configs it’s enabled so I updated to the latest Essentials Version it works or maybe it’s because I have um two versions of the same plugin so maybe that’s a problem as well but either way the reason why I’m using set home not everyone has access to delete change add any homes just to be clear it’s for the sole it’s for the Sole purpose of making sure the player stays in the island and preventing the player from going into going back and resetting their spawn point to the Bedrock platform so in essential uh like I said earlier I they absolutely have no permissions to teleport home create a home delete a home or change a Home they absolutely have they it’s it’s just they cannot do anything about it it’s for the sole purpose of spawning because Bedrock platform Bedrock platform and getting a reroll which would add on top of it it’s which is going to give them a second island assignment and it’s going to break the Whole it’s going to it’s going to break them blah blah blah um the reason why I use set home is that on Essentials there is a thing spawn on home instead of spawn point which instead of world spawn cuz if someone breaks a bed after they have set point there that’s going To reset the spawn point to the Bedrock platform cuz if we use the regular spawn point command it will set the point where it set it but it’s to get changed once the bed is placed and set your spawn point in the bed but once the bed is broke their spawn coordinates their Spawn point will be reset to the Bedrock platform which is a no no so I used set home and prevented I used set home and then went to Essentials and made it so that it would once once if a a home set what it it will spawn there instead of the world Spawn which is the plat the bedro platform capish all right so that’s dunzo um I fixed the essential I fixed the spawning issue uh let me update the could be worth making a quick tutorial for everyone
