Hello cup coders and welcome back to wizard training on the cup code server as always listen to that random minecraft noise as always i am your host mages96 and well today before we get started i want to really quick i want to let you know what’s going on why it’s happening

And what pretty much what what we’re doing about it i guess or what i’m thinking of doing or whatever i don’t know uh first off and i know some of this i’ve kept i’ve covered before some of this i’ve talked about before so i’m going to be kind of

Recapping some things but i want to make sure that you know not everybody watches every episode so if you’ve missed it i want to you know let you know what kind of what’s going on you know that we’ve been working on or i’ve been working on we

Actually we because you know the council work put their two cents in they picked out what mods they want we’ve been working on the next modpack for the server um my pack server version three i think is the name is what we’re calling it we’ve actually got that

Most of the way built i think there’s one more mod that we’re probably going to add back into it and in fact uh previously i mentioned that we were not going to be including ours magicka in the mod pack because ours magical was unstable and missionary quit developing

It well as i mentioned i think in the last episode or previous episode before that mythian has continued redevelop his continued development of arts magicka too so he is going to be stabilizing it and fixing some of the bugs and i think he’s looking for someone to hand it off to

Um it doesn’t matter what does matter is it’s going to be stabilized so we can re-install it back onto the server we will keep ours magical on the server makes me happy i love rs magicka that was the one thing that was one of the

Main mods that got me to start doing my video series and for most of you that’s why you’re here because i started doing rs magic of videos and you liked it and well here you are continuing on um the problem you as you know we’ve built the modpack it’s mostly way done

All i have to do you know add ours magicka too i have a few rec i have a few housekeeping things to do left like i’ve got to write the the license file and everything else but as soon as i’m and that shouldn’t take me but you know

Maybe half an hour to an hour for me to do that but as soon as that’s done i’ve got to send this off to the feed to beast team for them to approve it and once it’s approved we’ll put it on the server we have not done that yet and the

Reason being and i know i’ve mentioned this before is we don’t have the jar files we can’t get them okay now i know you guys you’re like well you can just download the jar file from mine from the mojang website no we can’t because here’s why

The jar file you get from the mojang website is vanilla minecraft only does not do mods does not do buckets nope nope what we need is we need a jar file that will allow us to use forge mods which is pretty much all these artist magicka and

Botania and all these other nice mods that i’m showcasing in the show the other also we need it’s the ability to use what is called bucket mods now let me explain why we haven’t been able to get them okay first off there is a dmca notice out there that has been

Going around to various websites bucket websites and any spigot websites and any other mod based jar file any site out there that’s hosting a jar file that includes any version or form of bucket is getting this dmca notice okay reason being is because apparently there was some code

That was included in the buck in the original bucket code that should not have been in there it shouldn’t no no no um what it is is it there’s different version licenses for open source one open source allows you to do this while another open source allows you to do

That and some of those open source licenses conflict with each other well there is one guy who used a secondary version of an open source license and he put his code into the bucket into yeah into pretty much into the bucket jar files and i guess somebody upset him and he turned

Around and complained because his his code was you know under this other open source license that was conflicting with the open source license that was already present in the bucket jar file so with that that’s why the whole dmca notice blah blah blah blah blah it’s a

Bunch of bs be perfectly honest with you it’s all open source it shouldn’t matter but it does so with this dmc notice going around that’s a legal issue all these places all these sites are taking their jar files down and i have scrubbed the web i’ve gone into the underground web i’ve

Looked at the normal web i’ve looked everywhere and i can the problem is it’s not there and the pirate bay has been down and i don’t trust any other torrent sites so i have not been able to get the jar file now i understand the

Pirate bay will be back up here in a couple days so i will be scrubbing the pirate bay here soon so that is why the server has not been updated yet because i can’t find the jar file i have to have a certain jar file that allows us to run both

Forged mods and bucket plugins the reason being is you know the forge mods is everything that you guys see the bucket plug-ins is what protects the server protects people from briefing it’s what gives you your right your right to an area when you log in you

Place your chest it’s what allows us to handle the multi-world stuff it’s what allows me to set up the announcements and all that so that’s what’s going on there there is another thing that another topic going on in in the private council forum section area i’m not going to tell you

What that private topic is but if that private topic goes the way there’s pretty much two ways that topic can go it’ll be either a yay or an a if it’s a yay then the server will be upgraded as soon as possible um kind of bad for us in the server council

Because we’re gonna have our work cut out for us to maintain the server at that point if it is in a then the server will not be upgraded until i can find the jar file but i will be looking for the jar file as hard as i can like i said

The pirate bay will be opening back up here soon that’s pretty much the bulk of what’s been going on and we’ve been having issues with with upgrading the server um but that’s kind of it it’s bad but at the same time it’s good because if we hadn’t

Had these issues i wouldn’t have had time to find out that mission was re-updating orange magicka so we wouldn’t be including arts magicka the because the server would have already been updated now another question that was brought up to me and i want to end i want to say

Would use the rs magicka as it is the unstable version knowing that it’s possible that players could crash the server using it all right that’s because the the crashes that are likely with it with ours magicka there’s very limited conditions that can cause it and that’s something that i can

Control through the config file so i could deactivate certain spells that would prevent you guys from being able to crash the server all right does that make sense i hope it does okay so what that means is that i would be opening the server with certain spells disabled

So you would not be able to crash the server now the question really was if i go ahead and i published today and then ours magical was updated what would happen would we get a whole new world would we get a whole new server what would happen so i’ll answer that real quick

Anytime i find out that one of the mods included in the modpack are updated and it’s an update that is significant enough for me to try to push out a change i will push that change out it will not reset the world unless it does something that would break the existing world now

Ours magicka has been known to do this in the past i think mission has got on the ball and he knows not to be changing around the item ids anymore hopefully but so in general most mods when they’re updated will not break our world in that

Case we will push the new mods out without resetting the world if it breaks our world then i have no other choice all right and that’s pretty much it i wanted to cover so let’s get on into it we have like seven minutes left we really don’t

Have a whole lot as you see this is literally all we just i mean seriously look this is it we are almost done after this we have nothing else in in botania to cover so i don’t know what i’m going to do with the next episode i i really

And when i do i will be playing on the new modpack uh the modpack will not be on the server unfortunately until i can actually put it there so i will be playing offline just to kind of get started and look at some of the new mods and show you guys a

Annoying to me all right the next thing we’re going to make let’s pull this out here put this up here and as you know anytime i have living rock in this that means that it is a room that we are crafting so we will be going to our roon workbench

All right so let’s see what this is this is the rune of autumn that we are going to build right there and then you know what we have another it looks like we have another room there so let’s go ahead and pull that out as well let’s

Pride now all the runes i think if there was like four seasons there’s all the major sins so huge you know it’s just cool we’re almost done i think we after these three we’ve pretty much covered every rune in the game i believe now i haven’t double checked that but i

Can say that after this last flower we will have literally covered every flower in 1.6 version of botania now i gotta i have to clarify that what i’m showing you everything that i’m showing you here is in the 1.6 version of botania so there is a lot of stuff that is missing

Because the 1 7 version has more than this one does so we will be covering the one seven version on the next step pretty much the next episode next week alright so let’s get this show on the road i need to put these up here i need to

For it to have plenty of mana and as you know we have plenty of mana sitting over there we don’t have to there’s no need to worry about mana around here look i got i got a whole pool mana and but notice this mana pool is not being drawn to be sent

Anywhere it is just collecting there that is like a reserve pool so when you build your area that’s i highly suggest you do that because not only does that give you extra mana that you can tap from like i can use this for my guns the mana gun

But it also gives you a place to junction from so later i could put some more mana distributors mana spreaders i guess nearby here and and redirect it to go somewhere else so that’s a definite idea you want to have along your mana production line you

Want to have plenty of mana pools laying out just to collect mana so you’re never actually wasting it because i mean what happens if your menopause are full you know you know do you know ah they won’t take any more mana uh there is another thing that you can

Do i can’t remember where it is uh oh that is another thing i guess i can cover before i start moving on to the next season is we have little crystals you can put in front of this to change their effects i guess i could cover those but i don’t

Runes of sloth so now i have three runes of sloth i’m not going to need that many but that’s okay so let’s get on working on our rune of autumn i believe it is what we’re working on as usual right click right click there and yep right click right click right click

Now notice there was three leaves that i put there you see the rune of fire the rune of air and the spider eyeball so right click with that that ding sound means that you made a correct combination now notice these you do not have to put

These on here in a certain order you can put them on in any order you want as long as you have all the right number of each item on there and all the right items then it will work now if you right click with your wanda forest and you

Don’t hear the ding chances are you forgotten something or you put one too many things on there one of the two just check see what you’ve got up there versus the recipe take some off i believe to take them off you shift right click with your fist and that’ll take one off

All right look we are done here we go let’s throw this up here step back hit with ron forest and that makes one rune of autumn let me go up to two of those the next one we’re going to work on is the rune of pride yes that is one of the

Sins as you see it takes one fire two mana diamonds and a rune of summer so it is kind of an expensive rune just like with the other ones we’ve worked on and you hear that beep that means we’re done time’s up we’re done so throw those on there we’ll throw it

With a wand for us let it ding and i’m going to continue on until i finish this flower just because i know i took quite a bit of time up at the front with the uh all the announcements and stuff so i’m not gonna stop here it just wouldn’t make sense now

But now we don’t do that anymore in fact instead now i track all of the server news on the engine site uh there is a link from the main website to this engine site uh just at the top of the top of the top menu bar you’ll see cup

Code server just click on that and it’ll take you right to the engine site that’s where you’ll see all the news about the server i try to keep that as updated as possible i haven’t updated in a while i’m actually going to plan on doing that soon

But on the main site for those of you who have been watching i i have a project on there called project rogue dungeons so you’re aware that project is i’m developing a game it is a top-down two-dimensional game with you know you place you’ll have to see it you have to read

Read the read the thing on it and see what’s going on it’s a lot of a lot of stuff that i’ve written on there so far but for those of you who are following it i’m gonna let you know about something that’s about to occur with it or not not guaranteed it’s something

That could possibly be happening soon well i wouldn’t say could possibly be because that kind of puts in the realm of not happening right no this is something that is most likely going to occur the that particular project project rogue dungeons is going to be shut down and replaced by

Another project called project rogue now what the difference is i know it kind of sounds the same but it’s going to be a different coding i’m going to be starting completely from scratch to rewrite the game because i found a new method of writing the game

That may make the game run well actually not may it will it will make the game run a heck of a lot faster and a heck of a lot smoother and i’m going to be using newer technologies i’m planning on using something called the flat red ball uh go check that out
