Building Kaylifornia Kingdom – Insane Bedrock Build!

All right we are just about set here to get going Live take just a few seconds here to get everything all dialed in hope you guys all had an amazing uh Thanksgiving those of you that are in the US at uh celebrate Thanksgiving hopefully everybody’s not too uh hopefully not uh too stuffed And crazy full from uh all the food so let’s see if we can get things rolling here double check that ah Joe see you there uh no I generally try not to start 15 minutes late all right so maybe maybe not actually moving around but we are we are on time maybe

Even a little bit early oh it’s dark outside monsters so let’s go sleep we’re not here on today’s stream for uh monster uh monster battles today is uh basically all about uh basically is going to be all about resource Gathering and uh possibly getting into some building we’ll we’ll have to see

Here how things go all right so for those of you that don’t know we’re on the uh forever Bedrock smpp here and uh we’re in the process of building what we’re calling the kingdom of California which is going to be probably oh I I would say an entire season if not

More of building here this is going to be a pretty much the the biggest build that we’ve ever done um we are going to actually build an entire sprawling Kingdom um most likely this area right here is going to be the main fortified Fortress area uh there’s going to be some I got

Some things laid out here for some houses that are going to go in the hill there’s probably going to be several more that actually are built into the Hillside Mountain whatever you want to call that and then we’ve got our main storage area which was one of our first

Builds uh we got a couple of Pathways that we are taking so that we have multiple access routes to the Fortified Fortress area um we just recently started this is all kind of spoilers in a way I haven’t got the video out for yet for uh uh we started the actual Village

The Lower Village is what we’re calling it down by the docks here which is all of this area which is also spoilers that I haven’t gotten in the that episode up yet but uh this will be our main dock area this will be the Lower Village this

Is going to be a Tavern or an inn something to that effect uh we’re going to have some defensive towers of course every Kingdom needs that um not sure exactly what I had planned here possibly like a blacksmith area and maybe some other uh kind of shops and such and then

The village itself will sprawl all the way out into the hills back here with some Farms Etc so uh it’ll be quite the complex when it’s uh when it’s all said and done so lots of resour Jugger right what’s happening how was your guys this Thanksgiving yeah hopefully

Um hopefully it won’t take as long as I think it might but then again I kind of like big projects so if this takes us the entire season or even more that’s fine by us we um we want this to kind of be uh one of the cooler things that we’ve ever done

Uh we we got started in last season with um Hogwarts um which actually came out pretty amazing we never did get a chance to finish it um ours was good man thank you thank you yeah we had um we actually did ours Friday um with the family here uh so

Everything turned out really good foodwise everybody got stuffed we’re all recovering from the uh what is that trip to fan haze from the turkey but um yeah it was really cool really cool so was kind of hoping that my oldest son would have been able to make

It out he wasn’t able to but still was a really good time with uh my two daughters and my granddaughter so good stuff but yeah hopefully um yeah today’s mostly going to be like I said uh resource Gathering um obviously you could tell U we’re using a

Lot of wood for this is going to be the theme of the Lower Village uh this this kind of spruce strip Spruce stripped Doak kind of a look um it’s basically is going to carry over into all the houses here as we’ve already done with several

Of them um not sure what we’ll go with with the houses and things that are going to be up here more by the Fortified Fortress area uh those might might be a little bit different but obviously for for the plans that we have in the size of the Lower Village alone

We’re going to need a ton of Oak and spru we we’re not doing too bad on Spruce so we’re going to focus on Oak mostly today um we’ll see how that goes where was that bees nest I got to keep an eye on those little guys they’ve almost

Killed me like three or four times I always forget to make I should make sure now yeah actually okay I got silk touch silk touch as long as the bees are in the hive and that one wasn’t so let’s let’s just uh I don’t

Know if I want to take him out or wait for him to come back maybe he was in this one let’s wait and see what they do these little guys can really do some damage man but especially if you’re wearing elytra like not full gear we’re going to leave them alone for

A little bit and uh we’re going to focus on some trees that don’t have beest in them for right now and if they still happen to be buzzing around we’ll try to figure things out once we get all these chopped down I was using a whole early

On for this uh getting rid of the leaves and getting them out of the way on these bigger oak trees but I found that really I don’t need to silk touch and save the leaves that much I’ve got like two double chests of leaves already from the wood we’ve already been

Chopping and I don’t really need um I’ve got a fortune hoe also and I don’t really need any more uh the saplings and so all it really ends up doing is making me have to repair another tool so I’ve just been breaking the leaves as needed with uh

Leaves works just fine a little bit slower but not painfully so yeah though um Thanksgiving was awesome had a very good time and way too much food did you get any kind of a break Jugger right from uh the cooking duties or no see here should be all of that

One hopefully by the time we get done done with getting these guys chopped down bees will actually be back in the hive doesn’t take them long to get like uh full of Honey to where they want to go back in the nest they’ll pop out occasionally after

But a lot of times they’ll go right in as soon as they get enough honey so looks like yeah I’m not seeing them buzzing around anywhere let’s get that the amount of bees nest I have are ridiculous or is ridiculous not sure how that would go the best

Way this is the only thing I don’t like about doing this is having to run around and pick everything up I was just planting them and Bone mealing them in place one at a time and it doesn’t seem as fast as this but it definitely seems less running

Around so maybe if I factored in the running around time is probably actually faster to uh just plant them one at a time and bone meal them it would be um it would be certainly a lot nicer if we would ever get 100% TNT drops because even um the

Best of uh tree farms in Bedrock just require tons upon tons upon tons of bone meal which which we have but it’s still it just it becomes um almost uh counterintuitive and just as slow a process to get a lot of wood with any kind of tree farm and Bedrock I’ve never

Made like um I know some people have made them my I don’t know whether it’s gas or wither I’m not sure which it is but I’ve never made one like that kind of curious if anyone has if you still get most of the wood or

All of it not positive on that with the explosions I know TNT you don’t get all the wood that’s that’s the drawback of Bedrock versus Java with uh well our Wood Farms the biggest industrial bee farm ever well you know where to get nests if you need them

Um I think I put up a a picture in Discord that showed one double chest full we’re already on our uh second double chest full it be EAS so if you if you need any friend uh definitely swing by I had the bee farm though from the randomizer so

Or the honey farm so if you want to hook up on that and make that part of the community one let me know if unless that one that you’re talking about is going to be uh for your base area I haven’t decided on a design or the uh Community

One I have uh I have that and the shulker farm that um that I pulled from the randomizer that you built that we’re uh choosing all the Farms from for us to build so that ought to be uh some fun episodes coming up me in the end is never a good thing generally

Speaking although I suppose once we get a place it’s the flying thing with um the render distance although in this is we we’ve got a good render distance on the server so it maybe isn’t as bad but um when we used to play on a realm and the render distance was so low

My uh flying in the end was left a lot to be desired there’s like a glitch or something that I’m going to blame it on a glitch cuz I know that I don’t mess with my controller when I’m flying to make myself basically nose dive but

That’s what happens to me in the end flying between uh over the void in between where there’s no islands where where there’s very few or that they’re not rendered in then all of a sudden I would be flying but I would be flying straight down and not be able to pull

Out of it but with us being on a server and the render distance not being a factor maybe uh maybe it won’t be so bad and then too like I say once I get a place set up where I won’t have to be flying a ton or I’ll know the

Route might not be such a big deal but then there’s the other fact of the Enderman Enderman and I do not get along especially when I have a lra on although I should if I do get that what I had do I have thorns on anything Thorns are really good for Enderman just

In case anyone was wondering as long as you got men on your gear Thorns are not an issue you know everybody like says oh Thorns do damage to your own gear too as long as you get mending it doesn’t matter I mean you just you be able to repair your

Gear and you’re not using the Thorns constantly to where it’s damaging your your armor that much so as long as you have mending Thorns is not uh detrimental to your to your gear and they um they help out quite a bit with Enderman actually I think I missed a row here

Didn’t I well maybe not a row but I definitely missed one more bees n to deal with yeah so hopefully what we’re aiming for here is at least one full shulker of uh oak logs uh like I say you can see we’re using quite a bit of Oak quite a bit of

Spruce um and it makes really no sense for me to get really started too much farther up on any of the village building until I get a little bit more get out of there Oak saved up here just end up uh running out of it faster than I can actually build anything

That one has bees let’s see Joe we’re not going to talk college football if you want to talk Columbus Blue Jackets we could do that even though I think they destroyed the Hawks the other night oh but we’re definitely not going to go college football route today Thanksgiving Minecraft

Blackhawks those will be the the topics and forever Bedrock stuff any any and all of those kind of things no NFL either no no not for long that’s the NFL it might as well be flag football nowadays so I’m not not interested in the NFL whatsoever I get it you know when you

Pay um when you when you pay quarterbacks and and such the amount of money that that uh transpire or the the salaries demand or whatever you want to say I get it but it’s basically ruined the sport from what it used to be it’s becoming an Olympic sport now

Well that that ought to tell you right there I’m you know what actually I’m surprised that they’ll I mean the NHL does I mean you but the NHL doesn’t always let like it depends on the teams whether they let the players go to uh participate a lot of them do but I’m

Surprised the NFL or when it becomes an Olympic sport if the NFL will let players go to participate you know with the like I was saying with the salaries involved if they get injured in the Olympics you know it’s that’s not going to go over real well I’m kind of curious how that’ll

Work out that that’s about as curious about the NFL as I am Olympic hockey is um definitely a far different game than the NHL uh though so the the risk of injury is more um you know things like uh that would not from hits or anything like that or

Concussion um it’s more would be uh injuries that would be related to uh uh like ACLS and things like which which are bad but NFL is encouraging well I would imagine they are just from I guess the influx you know if if you start getting uh International fans to the NHL or the

NFL that would be that would be a a positive for the NFL so I guess that makes sense but I am surprised like I say with the injury Factor you know what they’ll they’ll be encouraging it until some uh famous quarterback for some NFL team that makes 15 million a year gets

Hurt in the Olympics and then uh then they’ll stop that’s kind of the All-Star Game right I mean you know what’s the purpose of it anymore because you know it’s not a full-blown game it’s the same in the NHL there I mean the NHL allstar game is is definitely not like a

Real NHL hockey game and like pretty sure do does the NFL even do a pro bowl anymore or an All-Star Game an actual game I thought they actually got rid of that as a matter if I because it became such a joke yeah the NHL probably won’t be too

Far behind if that’s what the NHL’s already done they might as well I mean well the NFL is basically flag football I I know you’re like you’re you’re you’re quite a bit younger than me you got to look up like France Tarkington in the Minnesota Vikings

Um and and see what it used to be like with um quarterbacks that could scramble and uh were allowed to actually make plays and things like that it was it was a far different game back then than it was or than it is

Now and like I said I I mean I guess I see you know you got to I guess understand that the salary does play the salary ranges I mean obviously play a role in that but still you have other sports like the NHL that has some pretty hefty salaries and

They don’t alter the game too much are Implement rules that really make it less physical and less aggressive maybe I I think the NFL has just gone too far to uh air on the side of protecting certain players yeah I know isn’t it the the the sports discussion

Friend it is it’s almost exciting as chopping down oak trees though to be fair Joe goated me into at least it wasn’t like specifically about football teams or specific teams anyway but I got to admit I was I was kind of at a loss there when he started

That thread there of uh things to talk about here when I’m just uh chopping down oak wood I should take a fly by spawn I haven’t been by uh spawn in a little bit I know Joe was working on something over there recently and I know Fred you got some builds over

There that I haven’t shown at least on the stream maybe we’ll do that in just a few see look at that live they’re getting pushed off a block bug I know there was a possibility there that maybe I hit one of these but it happens a lot even when I’m not chopping

Trees down when you pillar up somebody was trying to tell me that that that it doesn’t exist that but I I run into it quite a lot since the uh uh since the uh recent update when pillaring it’s intermitten it doesn’t happen all the time I mean sometimes you

Could jump stack like a full block of blocks and not have it happen it does seem to happen more often when you have something above you at some point but you don’t have to be close to it I’m guessing it has to do with all the changes theyve made to the crouching

Mechanics I could totally be wrong on [Applause] that that El tree doesn’t even need to be there man as I give away who did that easy enough I was going to take that whole tree down yeah that the whole getting knocked off pillaring was gone though for a while

And it came back in the most recent updates um block lag could be could be definitely that too is um when you’re when you’re pillaring usually I mean that’s like that’s just a holding down of buttons so it’s a constant and I could see block lag happening during that that’s

Possible yeah as far as that oak tree goes over it spawn no NE not necessary forget why I took it down the top of it I do with ores like like whenever I go on mining sessions I I pillar you know I I try

To it used to be I was just fortune 3 when I mined um but lately I’ve been because I need more Stone than I need Cobble lately I’ve been going with silk touch so I I mean I’m always pillaring to uh fortune 3 all the ores afterwards and then quartz obviously I

Use quite a bit of quartz not as much as Joe but I do use it quite a lot the one that really bothers me now is like when you just jump and then all of a sudden you’re flying like like you just hit the jump key and uh it launches

You or the uh automatic going under leaves and stuff that one drives me nuts the automatic uh automatically crouching you under a block or under leaves or something like that that one has been driving me absolutely crazy especially with this when I’m bow mealing trees and and then the water

One it’s absolutely ridiculous to be trying to do anything underwater right now because you get like you get these times where all of a sudden it just starts shoving you around like you’re in a like literal tsunami under there for absolutely no reason I suppose that’s one that uh a lot of

People don’t encounter because not a lot of people are doing things underwater a lot but I’ve really noticed that this um past couple past couple weeks because of doing all of the work over here that we’ve been doing this central island is going to be like um basically like kind

Of a citadel Fortress type area so I’ve been trying to blast out everything around it underneath and then I’m going to probably put some kind of a pillar base that’s lit up underneath that like supports it so to try to carve things out in a reasonable Manner and make it

Look good is just is ridiculous with the way that you get shoved around and like that right there actually it’s uh makes it pretty difficult to do anything um reasonably precise underwater without having to like replace blocks after you just accidentally knocked them out I thought there was an oak tree at spawn

That you were talking about took the top off of the one that was um over by the hole in the ground like where the basal and stone where Joe’s Basalt ston maker where those are at it kind of by the the day one bamboo there was like one oak tree one big

One s there for the longest time and I know recently I actually went over there and took the top off it that’s what I thought you were talking about I think I needed a screenshot or something and I just trimmed it down flat so I could land on it and I can’t remember

Exactly all right let’s see what this has got us like I say we we need a full shulker at least oh we can get rid of that one to oh jeez we got two stacks sticks are good that’ll keep us uh torches will be nice and easy to come

By once I convert all those and I actually got to convert all those apples into golden apples all right how much wood did we end up with not much I’m sure yeah oak trees are so painfully slow or oak logs getting a lot of them proba be better off going to find

An oak forest but I don’t want to just go decimate one and not replant just in case somebody else wanted to go to that area so this is our option ah like that I hate that I like the way the it used to be where you would just be stuck in the

Leaves and start suffocating unless you broke out of it there she okay did somebody take it the rest of the way down I don’t know anymore man I’m going to leave that alone I haven’t been there since the uh Thanksgiving thing and I don’t remember I don’t I don’t remember looking to see

If it was still there then all I know is there was one there for a long time at spawn for like no particular reason cuz we kind of moved all the other trees over to that little Island area off the main island well good if somebody did cuz it

Didn’t need to be there in the first place that’s like one of those things on the agenda that needs to get done like like we need to start kind of planning how that area is going to look oh we got lots of bees now great this is certainly going to cause a

Mistake of Some some sort I can guarantee it just because I have no patience to wait until it gets dark what’s up the Reckoning how’s it going I should make flowers I don’t need flowers I need oak logs it’s hard to build a kingdom with flowers all right

Bees do your thing and get back into your nests so I can get rid of you you guys know I’m waiting to chop them down don’t don’t you no you must have just uh came in after um actually for the SNP that we’re on for River Bedrock I have a bee farm is

One of the next ones that I have to make for the community but uh with all the wood I’ve been Gathering um bees are not an issue there as you see be bees are an issue only because there are too many and what I need is oak logs and no more

Bees I wish there was a way you could grow the the oak trees without out I mean I suppose I could put the chest plate on and just fight them but it’s actually better since I do have the bee um the Honey Farm to keep as

Many of the nest with bees in them as I can that one looks like they all went in okay nothing’s attacking that’s good sign now if these two guys would cooperate we’d be all good like I say I don’t really want to kill them you can chop down the trees as long as

You you could silk touch the bees nest even as long as they’re in it when they’re flying around outside if I chop this down even with silk touch they’ll come after me and the tree you can definitely you can chop the tree down it doesn’t bother him a bit

It’s only if you mess with the nest and they’re out of it these guys just do not want to go back in the nest and they’re aggravating me I think other thing too is if you chop if you if you chop the bees nest down when they’re out of

View they won’t attack but then they’ll just like have no nest and they’ll be flying around persistent hi buddy you buzz on over to that Nest over there instead of bothering me well we’re going to get some more wood while we’re waiting for them to make up their mind thanks

Man it’s coming together slow but sure it’s going to take U basically the whole season I’m I’m guessing for sure we got some stuff done um just working on the Lower Village here it’s going to be around the Docks but we haven’t even started on like the main fortified

Fortress or uh this Central this is going to be like a defensive kind of position so lots to keep going on all right there we go there we go oh are we needing to uh time somebody out or ban somebody that would be about far for the course probably

Ah yeah we want to be careful what we uh say in chat that’s for sure I I didn’t take a um any time to look at it to see what it was I’m guessing the Reckoning probably left after that too I’m not sure to where we could uh potentially get some insight Maybe

Better safe than sorry though um given that I do uh have the channel with uh my daughter and all I wonder why that did that heck was that it huh well the Reckoning if you’re still there that was the bot doing that I I would have allowed heck actually

And then having to con go back while all the leaves despawn there is a wild a Fred in the wild uhoh that’s going to be way more logs than I have hang on oh man uh let’s see we can get rid of that that

Like to keep it all family friendly and there’s a bot on the chat that monitors chat and it probably just saw the y’all caps possibly the word heck which I don’t have a problem with so yeah I’m glad you didn’t leave glad you didn’t leave yeah it

Wasn’t you didn’t break any rule or anything like that so no worries there but the bot just saves me the trouble of having to uh monitor it as I’m streaming um and it it’s extremely helpful awesome we have one p shulker and we can actually restock almost

Fully uh at least one double chest in the storage room too nice get out of here horse so yeah though that’s just like uh kind of I don’t always have moderators or admins you know um today’s stream there are a couple guys in here that are so it’s

Awesome but I usually just leave the bot on anyway yeah no no um no swear and no nothing like that we try to keep um everything is as family friendly as possible I know a lot of our videos um we mix it up a lot but we do a lot of

Tutorials and so I know that some of the the viewers are kids and like I say I basically want to try and make that for uh Fred are you saving the leaves for you but yeah man it’s it’s there there’s enough of people out there that that cuss and swear

And it’s it’s it’s not uh it’s not necessary some people think it is just to get people to watch I don’t particularly believe that ah let’s get rid of these also so um that’s true that’s true um but the silk touch leaves are you keeping the

Leaves or can I uh compost them for bone meal I’ve already got two double chest of leaves from everything I’ve been doing okay cool all I just want to make sure you weren’t saving them before I start composting them Joe unless you need more I I know

You already probably built the one thing you needed the leaves for but if you need them let me know or if you need any let me know because or come and get them because I’ve got like I said i’ got I don’t have any immediate plans I’m sure I’ll use leaves

Once the kingdom starts coming a little bit more together and like I get into detail in The Villages but I’ve got two full double chests of leaves if uh I did put a bunch in at the Galleria the storage mall at spawn also and actually I think right now Oak

Treewise we’re in pretty good shape I think I’m going to hop over to um getting some more Spruce dialed in here cuz we’re using tons of both Spruce will go a little bit faster try and get at least one shulker up no it’s uh the server is actually we’re all content creators contion

What’s up man how’s it going we’re uh we’re resource Gathering today how was your Thanksgiving man but um uh Reckoning it’s um it’s all content creators so it’s a whit listed server um we all play it’s forever Bedrock is the name of the the group the uh the S SMP so

Yeah CU I dude I can’t I don’t know how people play mouse and keyboard I um I never grew up playing any uh mouse and keyboard games I always grew up playing different consoles um going back to like like Atari man so um not not to date myself too bad there

But uh that’s where I come from is is all controller never not really a PC Gamer I think halflife was the only game I ever played on PC that was uh basically strictly uh keyboard and mouse I think it was called halflife pretty sure but yeah I’m I’m more

Um I’m more from the uh golden ey James Bond and perfect dark and uh the original Halo series that that’s kind of my era I got you beat by a few years buddy I’m not going to say exactly how many but yeah oh you went in 98 you did

Huh yeah I cannot WD to save my life so it uh it it actually kind of drives me nuts I i’ I’d like to because um I I would the there’s a part of me that would love to do like um um a Java series or at least try and see

You know how it goes yeah perfect dark and those those were some really good games man um really really good games uh that was actually one of my favorites but um yeah I would love to but and I know they have like uh controller support with with the arrow

Key yeah uh I think I might have played pong once or twice I think that was an arrow key game oh man too funny but yeah I um I I never really got it but I would love to do um I mean obviously I have Java you know but it’s

Like I I don’t I know they have controller support but it’s it feels laggy it feels um which and that and I don’t know if that’s my computer or if it’s the wrong kind of you know if there’s if there’s better um add-ons for that or mods whatever you

Want to say that would be or what ah dude yeah I will uh Reckoning yeah I mean I I know Fred plays quite a bit and and Joe I think plays quite a bit of J or used to but yeah I mean the thing I don’t like about

Java you know and and I have tried to get it set up and running is you you do literally need like optify and all these other things to get it to run good and with bedrock you just turn it on and it’s and it performs you

Know um but you know and I’m not I’m I’ve never been like a huge fan of modded I is some of modded things are kind of cool but um it’s not a necessity to me so then and to do all the other stuff that it requires to play Java well

With all the different things that are needed it just it always ends up being like yeah skip it I could just turn on bedrock and play the game so I mean there are definitely advantages um but again like I was saying you know it’s it’s really not my

Style to play I I would like to try some of the modded um what was it cipion what was it that you used to play was it realcraft I think that was the one series of yours that I was watching a lot of that um I thought was really

Cool yeah yeah I mean that would be something I that I would love to try but but again like I say it’s just you know it’s it’s like it’s something that I know I wouldn’t play forever so then to do all the stuff that you need to get

Java to run right just it doesn’t balance out for me RL c yeah yeah that was it I remember that I I I kind of get a um yeah um it it didn’t look like it was um your standard Minecraft game that’s for sure

Man it had a a little bit going on there it was uh a little more heady I’m I’m kind of interested to see what comes up with um hight tail whenever that comes together oh cool yeah yeah yeah the FPS booster like optify and stuff yeah

Yeah like I say I think you know like the the advantage of Bedrock 2 is the fact that like you know um the crossplay element like some of the guys um what is it uh fluffy plays on an iPad and like aluminum foil and coat hangers or

Something and I know frb you have PS right you um you play on PS and then doesn’t Jugger right plays on both I mean PSN computer but and then Jugger Rite is Xbox and computer so I mean that aspect of Bedrock is another one that just it’s an

Interesting aspect of the game you know like it’s a lot easier to be able to play with friends that way yeah High tail they they did I think that was the critical error with them was um was getting the word out when they weren’t ready they they

Weren’t even well I think they were probably close to ready but then they rebuilt their whole engine which is what Minecraft should have done a long long time ago and they still need to do um and I think that’s been the big delay now is that they realize that oh

Man if we do this the engine’s not going to be capable um and from what I understand that was uh the most recent kind of setback for them was that they actually rebuilt the entire engine from the ground up that uh that it’s going to run

On so that would definitely be but yeah I mean it it definitely looks to be like a better Minecraft so to speak for a lack of a better way of saying it and um I mean Minecraft um I hate saying it I love the game but I think they put

Themselves in a position where um they’re going to get left behind uh I think they they are too staunchly sticking to some of the old ideas the crafter is a step in the right direction I I will give them that and I and I hope that that’s um an indicator of the

Future of Minecraft is that they will start implementing some things but like uh vintage story no I haven’t but I had a friend that was playing it and um that one just seemed um and maybe I was looking at it from a Creator standpoint not a gaming

You know like like just enjoying a game standpoint but it looked really really granular you know like like like the way that you had to even craft tools and things like that just seemed like um way too intense you know way way too um too many steps too many you know it

Have been that was the way I was like I was trying to come up with ideas and I just couldn’t come up with ways that would make it make sense in any kind of video format yeah yep it it’s total grind that’s exact and that’s what I worry about Minecraft

Um especially all these villager things that they’re you know they they are trying to make I I get it you know I was in an interesting discussion not too long ago everybody thinks that and I could be wrong but this is my take um everybody has this idea that the uh

The changes to villagers are all about um the villagers being too op and I don’t think that’s the case at all and I think there’s probably evidence out there that Minecraft even said it’s about exploration and that um to me is bothersome that you know

They are now trying to tell us how to play the game um without making the game itself more you know what I mean it’s to me if you want me to explore in Minecraft more if if you’re the game then make the biomes interesting add some Ambience you know

Add some Ambience to the to the biomes add I I mean why is there not like a single kind of bird that flies even if it doesn’t even doesn’t drop anything or do anything in the game why isn’t there a bird in the sky in in

Minecraft you know if if you want me to go to a swamp why aren’t there alligators there why why is the only thing that’s there mud in a mangrove tree and the rest of it just looks crappy you know once you go to a swamp in Minecraft there’s no reason to go

Back unless there’s a witch hut there there’s really nothing that says oh the swamp is so cool I’m going to build my base there you know so all right Reckoning take care man sorry I didn’t catch that earlier thanks for dropping in man we appreciate

It yeah it it’s to force people to move around and what I think you know and this this has taken it a little bit step farther I I think they spent all that time and effort and they lost some good people over caves and cliffs um I don’t know why exactly but

There were definitely a lot of people a lot of developers that left right after CNC was done um I think they put all that time and effort in and then when they look at the Telemetry data nobody’s doing anything nobody’s going nobody nobody is going to any of

These places same can be said and this might be a total hot take is an ancient city but once you’re there and you get uh Swift sneak what’s the purpose of going back there I mean unless you want to maybe rebuild it or something but you

Know once you’ve been there and done it there’s no reason to go back none whatsoever once you loot it there’s no reason yeah the whole feel minecrafty thing is is going to be what I think SNS them but like I say I hope the autoc crafter is is a step in the

Right direction you know because I but I do I think that the Villager changes are simply them being upset that they did all this work and time and effort into caves and cliffs and you know I mean honestly like I was saying about the ancient city caves same thing start and once you

Get down to zero it’s nothing but deep slate wow that’s really not exciting you know what do you deep slate lava gravel and maybe some ores you know I Mean there’s a lot of really uncreative things that they’ve done and now they’re trying to force people to explore because what they made wasn’t explorable or worth exploring to the player base so yeah and I think um I hope that the portal frame is something that is being worked on

Because um that would be another thing that they that could maybe salvaged again you know when it comes to um like the progression of the game you know that’s something else that everybody keeps talking about with the Viller changes I I don’t think the average player really cares too much

About the progression of the game I think the people that are mostly complaining are people that play the game like 247 and you know they beat it in uh eight or whatever hours and it took them to you and then they’re bored well that’s on them because you can

Challenge yourself other ways you can play hardcore you can you could set your own boundaries you know if you don’t want op villagers don’t make a trading Hall don’t cure your villagers you know I mean there’s there’s a lot of these decisions that they’re talking about that are really in the player’s

Hand and I think it’s silly to change the game because of that and that’s why I think it’s really more about that while we spent all this time on caves and cliffs and cliffs and nobody’s nobody’s doing anything you know nobody cares nobody but again I like I say I I firmly

Believe that’s on them there’s there’s a lot more that could be added to the game whether it’s things that to do with mechanics like the autoc crafter um but also the ambience um I I firmly believe the biomes could all use a rework every single one of them and and

Every single one of them could use something I mean it’s like I I I I’ll give you a good example um lunar and I my daughter K of case Creations we started playing in a game uh somebody a friend of ours turned us onto a game it’s more of um

Um kind of a chill game I guess would you know be like a stardo valley is we started playing Pia and that’s in beta right it’s still in the beta phases you go into Pia into a world and you hear into a different area you you hear different sounds you

Hear bugs you hear you know different noises and things like that um there’s music constantly in the background you know where in Minecraft it kind of pops in and out the ambience in Pia in beta far blows away what Minecraft is 15 years into the game

So that’s my uh that’s my rant and I’m sticking to it I love Minecraft I’ll probably we never stopped playing but um they scare me and I guess I should not say never because um if hight tail does come out and it has any of what it seems to

Promise I I may stop playing Minecraft altogether you’re exactly right there too con like the whole traveling every biome now is massive like right early game travel now if you start a new world now with caves and cliffs it’s ridiculous to travel it’s absolutely ridiculous the

Only option you have is a boat and and hopefully sailing around long enough to find whatever biomes you might be looking for whether that’s to make your base or if you’re looking for supplies and then I think the other a couple weeks ago I mentioned it in

Either one of the videos or one of the live streams I don’t do that many live streams so it might have been in a video one of the oceans in this world actually and it might actually even be this ocean that’s right out here one of the oceans is literally 4,000 blocks

Plus why is an ocean 4,000 blocks uh there’s a lot of content creators doing Pia actually yeah yeah I the graphics are really good that’s another aspect of it um there’s there’s a ton of content creators out there because there’s um there’s there’s a lot of like how-to stuff in there that

Um you know like once you get good at the game that is helpful to other players so the the whole like um you know how to to keep um you know what the best foods are to plant in your area what um what are the best things to hunt

You know Etc all that um that kind of video series and just regular let’s plays as well you know so um tons tons tons of paleo content out there so and that’s um but any you know that’s just that’s another example though like again with the graphics you

Know like um that’s a whole other thing that Minecraft dropped the ball on the that whole RTX thing that that was just Shady in hindsight that um that just reeks of like a little cash grab by them in Nvidia especially now that it seems like they’re trying to

Uh kind of have some form of inhouse um kind of like the one that they gave up the Ultra HD graphics or whatever it seems like that’s what they’re trying to build in the game now in the background with uh their own little Shader things that are happening there in the

Code all right let’s see here oh I hate when the spruce trees do this with the leaves all the way to the ground let me out there we go I need more rockets and I need to sleep before I start dealing with Phantoms yeah I remember the HD graphics would have been

Awesome you know and for them to take away shaders from bedrock to do what they did which now is nothing absolutely nothing not cool not cool at all so all right we got our Oak and how much Spruce do I have that’s miscellaneous so I got a little more than a double

Chest of spruce maybe about four more oh Rockets Rockets trying to think in uh carrying conversations and the whole this whole streaming thing man it’s it’s it’s tough for a Saturday it it’s like a work day sometimes uh we get rid of those sticks won’t be needing those anytime

Soon yeah I I very similar mindset yep I think you know it’s um it’s it’s there’s so much like kind of potential you know in the other side of it too right I mean like what Minecraft’s going on it’ll be 15 years and I mean you know that’s the one

Thing that I guess I give them slack for and and give them obviously credit for sorry about that the cough um you know you buy the game and it’s free you know I mean all the updates and everything so I mean they’re owed that but you know they they keep saying that

They want to continue to develop the game and you know they keep uh touting the whole idea of it being a Sandbox game but more and more they want to tell players how to play it and then you know taking this long to even get something like a crafter

Block you know you got to figure at some point you of course you’re Minecraft but you also have to compete with the other games that are out there for people’s attention so if you’re going to make the game more grindy like they’re kind of of proposing that’s I I don’t think that’s

The right way to go about it things you know so we’ll see what happens we’ll see what happens yeah I’m I’m hoping that um I’m hoping that the 15year does have something like um and maybe that is a new dimension that that uh relates to that ancient city

Portal good luck finding a game with um no content being made on it that would be uh that would be awesome I I was shocked when U cuz you know we jumped on Pia when it was when the beta first came out for people to start being able to play it and there

Was already I it it’s it’s not a ton of that’s the one cool thing is like what I’ve seen is that there’s not a lot of great content are good content creator there’s some there’s some really good content but there’s a lot that aren’t so it’s it’s still like you know that’s a

Market that would be ripe for a content creator to start doing stuff in I think especially if you had a pretty unique approach or a different approach to it yeah yeah in vintage story you’re exactly right great game but but man it it would be next to impossible to

Do if you’re if you’re looking at it from a Content creation standpoint there’s some guys out there that do it though and and they get views but I I kind of don’t know if um I don’t know the history of it that much so I don’t know if those are like kind of

Like you know maybe they’re like the hermitcraft guys of uh vintage story or something that just everybody knows project e Joe lost me there but yeah I think it’s going to be um it’s going to be an interesting few years coming up for Minecraft for Mojang to uh really solidify or

Not because um I I do think that the relying on things being quote unquote minecrafty is a detriment to them and any of these changes that they’re talking about right now that will absolutely make the game more grindy or just not good for the game as

A whole there’s a a lot of us um I personally I do have a lot I I basically am a stay-at-home dad so I have the time but there’s way too many people that play the game that aren’t content creators that you know are kids that

Work a job after school or have school or their their family guy or woman whatever you know you have other responsibilities you don’t have 3 hours to tra you know thous thousands upon thousands of blocks just to find a mending book and and I think they’re they’re in

For a rude awakening if they keep going down that route CU like I say I mean just look at what I’m doing right now honestly I mean the amount of grinding that I’m doing right now just to have enough Spruce and Oak Wood to build a village and it’s only one of several

Villages that I have planned right I mean we have a main Fortress area that’s going to probably use a lot of wood then we have all of this that I’ve got set out for the Lower Village that’s going to be part of the the whole dock complex there’s going to be Village over

Here and just the amount of time that I’ve put in right now in today’s stream is is like a tiny portion of the time that I’ve been spent that I’ve spent Gathering wood just to be able to do the builds oh okay Joe all right that makes

Sense nice nice conion yeah yep I I been trying to make it a go you know I mean like I said I’m a full-time father now you know I mean I I um basically retired whatever word you want to use a while ago um and that was a result of some things

You know that happened in in our life you know um it’s no mystery to a lot of people that know me that um uh Kay’s mom passed away in 2015 and that was really what forced me out of the workplace and into being a single dad and and you know

We started the Channel I want to say probably 2017 but really didn’t start taking things seriously until 2018 probably and uh that’s that’s definitely where I would like to go you know I mean I’m not um I don’t think I’m very I mean you know we’re close we got the subscriber

Count to where we could possibly but um it it’s uh it’s difficult to um to get a name in Minecraft that’s for sure but is definitely the angle yeah right Fred that’s another perfect example right I mean like if you want to terraform an area I mean even with a beacon right I

Mean you know so the idea of making things or well let’s put it this way let’s try to tear down a mountain to terraform an area that you want to build in not even a full you know but just tear something big down and not have mending or or have mending very

Difficult to get you just you’re not going to do it everybody just go back to building dirt houses and stuff you know which which takes away one of the cool things about Minecraft are the the the Creator you know and I’ll include myself in that at least I

Try to build on Epic scales you know I mean I try to make the builds big and interesting and and intricate you know rather than dirt houses and that’s just going to take away that whole element of of people like you know BDubs and Coralis and and people that really do

That bacon I like bacon don’t say bacon that’s right yeah you didn’t do you didn’t even use a Beacon for that that you that project you were working on that’s right across the 4,000 Black Ocean from me yeah I you know what I think there is a

Little Resurgence in um just a a good oldfashioned kind of let’s play so you know which which is cool because I think those go back to more you know where you where it’s personality and what you build you know and and I think that’s a little more Level Playing Field than

What it has been in the past I certainly hope that everybody is tired of because these um all these hardcore are so much bull for lack of a better word they they are lons so bad most most of these Creator there’s no way these people are doing what they say they’re doing in

Hardcore so hopefully that’s something that is uh going to be become a thing of the past is the infatuation with viewers of 100 day thousand day million day I built the Galaxy you know and in hardcore hopefully everybody’s getting tired of that or seeing through it or

Whatever and and it can get back on track and it was a shame that all the big creators jumped on it too that that was what like really irked me a little bit about the whole like kind of Minecraft content community so to speak it was it was something it popped

Up and when the big creators jumped on it you know the uh the mythical sausages and people like that it just like it made it Skyrocket and then it just ruined everything I mean because honestly where can you go after that yeah exactly right you know you you

Hope that um that people can identify with you as as a person and what you’re doing you know that was one of the reasons that I actually wanted to go with a kingdom I was thinking about what to do this season for forever Bedrock right um last season we had some really

Cool builds we had we had a good time we had a group a good group of people we had a good time with it we had some really cool builds in like our shopping district area our chatau was a really good one I was I was happy with like

Kind of proud of then when we started doing the Hogwarts thing that came out you know so like this year when we started season 2 I was like what’s something that I could actually do that’s long running that won’t be boring and as kingdom is the perfect

Thing you know cuz you have everything from houses to what was it another spoiler that hasn’t gotten into a video yet but Lighthouse you know everything and you know I figured if I can make a series where people follow along and dig what I’m doing that would be

A little bit I found it a little bit difficult to work with but I found it a long time like when he first put it out so I don’t know if there have been tweaks um if any of you guys are listening structura is from madh Hatter

Um he does quite a bit of um add-ons stuff really cool stuff for Bedrock um but structura is just like like matica in Java I don’t think think any of those are um I haven’t okay then I haven’t seen your new one Fred is

The Joe is the um is the the copper Farm the one that’s by the trading Hall yeah madh Hatter I’m pretty sure is who who came up with the structura but anyway guys um regardless of uh none of our Farms are anywhere near as fast as they need to be
