It’s been very fun but randomly one of them made a joke that I should make a Minecraft mod which all laughed it off but what if I did I’m not trying to be the next twilight forest or crazy crap I just want to make a tiny mod to share with my

Friends and suffer from so I wanted to be as stupid as possible I’m going to start by asking one friend that played more modded Minecraft than me since he would have some experience and give me some knowledge when making yo David what makes a mod a mod I don’t know changes

Fit so now I have to make four new text starting with the helmet I wanted this helmet to come with a Casey hair a lot of people struggled to draw and then I decided to add a visor for the chest plate I’m using the template and starting with painting it all green

Cutting off the top of the shoulders making the sides of set shoulders pointy and then after I painted it all green I realized this looks like those damn emerald armor mods people were using back in 2016 so I added blue because I also like blue I added blue to the shoulders and a

Stripe in the middle and after after I was finished I realized it kind of looks like Ben t shirt anyways anywh who the leggings again with the template painted all green and then started planning out where the blue will go it started up with just a crotch but then I thought

That wasn’t enough so I added it to the knees as well the boots is the same template green and then I added blue to the bottom of the feet while also flattening them now that the textur is are done all I had to do was add the

Stats do the dirly stuff and then onto the armor texture turns out I need an armor texture to even submit the armor items I had to go to resources and select specifically create armor texture then it gave the option to select standard chain mail or leather I personally like

Leather so I use it as my starting point I started work on the texture straight away made it more solid green and less textur removed some of the sleeve to make it more of a pad added an outline color Chang the shape of the helmet and

Then I had to go go to the item texture to see how the blue patterns were placed after doing so I added more to the outline of the armor and gave it noise and last but not least I exported the texture brought it into p.net made a new

Layer drew the visor changed the opacity and then exported it again onto the legging I did basically the same thing as mentioned in the previous one and then went back to the armor and gave it texture but it still gave the same error

Hm what I had to do to fix it was go to the mod folder and change the texture to have a name before layer 1 and layer 2 but we’re not done yet as I added the blue to the armor I had to justify a way that the blue would even appear there

Now I could just add blue dye to the recipe and call the day but in said I made a new material except it won’t breath from a new ore it’ll be a modified version of the casum and since it’s blue I decided to name it after

Omega because he likes blue I know who look like iron because I I hate you now we’re getting into the good stuff crafting for casum Omega I was thinking it would be made with one casum four iron ingots four lapis and that would give you four of them and then I

Realized that I can make a smelting recipe um so I made a smelting recipe followed up by a crafting recipe for all the armor pieces and then I pressed run client MC crater lets you emulate a Minecraft test run for your mod that doesn’t require anything more than just a button press

Durability works as a meter to how full the juice box is want to see how it works in action it’s slightly buggy but the idea is there a few bug fix this later and here it is perfect but it’s slightly underpowered let’s make an overpowered version of it
