Hello everybody and welcome to my tutorial video where I will be showing you all how you can build this hidden mind curt entrance in your guys’s own survival world anyway allow me to briefly show you all how this door works and then we will hop right into the

Tutorial so from the outside you can see we’re just a normal person passing by and you can’t see any redstone there’s no hidden buttons anywhere however if we go ahead and head in this direction and then as we’re passing these flowers we throw in the secret password then all a

Sudden the hidden door pops out at nowhere you fall down into a secret base we retrieve our password back and boom just like that out of nowhere we disappear now we’re in our hidden base pretty cool stuff there especially if you want to hide something secret from

Your friends and then obviously it works in the opposite direction a slime block launches you up and you automatically continue going in the direction anyway today I will be giving you all a tutorial block by block so that way you can build this thing in your own

Survival world now it is quite a lengthy build so this will be quite a lengthy tutorial and I did do a video sort of showing how it works also explaining some of the redstone and going more in depth with that so if you want to see the showcase video for this redstone

Invention I highly recommend you watch the video down in the description regardless let’s go ahead and hop right into this tutorial now a quick disclaimer before we start the tutorial I will be going fairly quickly to make this tutorial as short as possible so feel free to pause the video throughout

It and also there will be a download link to this specific world I mean right now down in the description so feel free to download that and you can actually copy it block for block with the world download link that I provided down there in the description just in case you guys

Can’t follow along with the tutorial okay so I already went ahead and set up the rails here now what you’re gonna need in place before you actually build the secret entrance is some sort of rail system on your server that doesn’t look too obvious that it actually contains a

Hidden entrance so I would say if you have you know a little town over here in a mining facility you have a nice real system connecting him well then this would be the perfect place to add a hidden minecart entrance but what you guys are gonna need to do

It doesn’t matter if this rail is you know bumpy or straight or anything but wherever you want your secret entrance to be you’re gonna have to come up to it and make sure that it’s a little bit of a slant right where you want the entrance to be and also I would

Recommend that right after the slant it’s a nice flat line and right before it it’s also a nice flat line and then it can be you know bumpy and hilly and whatever anyway what we’re gonna do is on this block right here this little slant we’re gonna go ahead and break

This and this is where our holes going to be and you’re gonna have to count down 1 2 3 4 5 6 blocks and then this is where other rails going to go leading out in this direction and this is where our slime blocks gonna go to actually

Launch us up but for now go ahead and place yourselves a powered rail normal rail and then just head off in this direction and then count over 1 2 3 4 powered and then we’re going to place ourselves a detector rail and then just have the powered you know leading off to

Wherever your secret entrances and that’s going to be set up for pretty much all the rails that we need we can go ahead and destroy this little pillar right here and repair our stuff and we should be good to go to start the Redstone ok we’re gonna start off with

Building the slime block launcher to do this just go ahead and break this rail right here we’re gonna gum down two blocks and then we can break that and then you’re gonna want to place a sticky piston facing in the upwards direction along with a slime block now all these

Blocks around this slime block you’re actually gonna want to replace with some non destructible block and then you can go ahead and place that reel back down along with a normal rail awesome ok next thing that we’re gonna do is we are going to want to wherever your detector

Rail is so keep in mind it goes powered normal and then for powered in a detector then what we’re gonna do is place a torch coming out of the detector rail right there come on down then we’re gonna go over up one two three just like

That then we’re gonna have one to have that guy going into a block and then this is going to be a repeater on four ticks of delay have that guy coming into the then we’re gonna have another repeater on one tick of delay then a repeater on

Four ticks of delay then we’re gonna put a piston sticky piston facing towards the normal rail right there alright so now we’re gonna go ahead and build a double piston extender so to do that go one two three and then we’re gonna fill in this little area right here grab

Yourself some redstone and we’re gonna make a loop just like that now we want to sticky pistons facing towards us and that’s going to grab that little rail right there then put yourselves a repeater right there on two ticks of delay then a repeater right there on

Four ticks of delay cool now there’s one final step left and that’s just going to be to put a torch right there come down one two blocks and then we’re gonna put a dot of redstone right there have a sticky piston in the upwards direction

With a block on top of it a block right there and then put a little repeater on four tix three ticks of delay it’s three ticks of delay not four ticks of delay okay and you can go ahead and test this and make sure it is working if you just

Grab a minecart put it on the track over here give it a button press and you should see that all the rails get pulled out of the way and it gets launched up and then obviously we didn’t build this up here but it will eventually get

Launched up and we will be able to catch it up top but awesome we built a little slime block launcher okay so that’s pretty much it for all the Redstone on the lower section we’re gonna get onto the upper section and this is where it starts getting a little bit complex and

A lot of different repeater timings so make sure you’re paying close attention anyway we’re gonna set up the pistons first so come over to our little power drill we’re gonna come over one and down one then we’re gonna put a sticky piston in the upwards direction just like that

And we can put a little block on top of that guy and now we’re gonna come over here and put a sticky piston facing towards us and then come over here and put another sticky piston facing towards the rail just like that and you should have a nice little you know pyramid oh

There’s so many Pistons going on right now but come over one two blocks over here and then we’re gonna put a sticky piston facing towards the rail and that’s going to grab that bottom block now I’d recommend actually replacing this block with a half slab and that way you won’t actually take any

Damage when you fall through down into the secret entrance okay so let’s go ahead and connect the redstone up to do that we’re gonna want to build a little bit of a half slab staircase so go ahead put a down of redstone right there then

We’re gonna do a half slab moving on up another half slab so it should all connect up go I’m pretty good then we’re gonna come up one more and another dot of redstone now we’re gonna come to the side go up one then we’re gonna go over

To all right so over one two and then put a repeater here so one repeater right there on four ticks of delay than another repeater going into this guy on four ticks of delay and then place a block right there and that’s how we connect up the first piston pretty cool

Now we’re gonna connect up the second one to do that we want to put a repeater going out in this direction have that guy going into a block then a redstone torch right there have that guy going into a dint of redstone another block a repeater right here on three ticks of

Delay this guy is on three ticks of delay then we’re gonna come out one two three four awesome this is all going to be redstone then we’re gonna come up one up two and then have that going into a block so one two redstone right there and yeah that connects up the second

Piston and to connect up the third piston come over here to the back and we’re going to go redstone redstone just like that and then actually place a block on top of this so that way those don’t connect up now we’re gonna have this line going into a sticky piston facing upwards

Put a block on top of that then a repeater right there have that guy going into a block and we’re going to do redstone redstone just like that and that will power the piston now we’re gonna have to deliver another pulse to this guy and to do that you’re gonna

Want to do repeater on four ticks of a delay another repeater on four ticks of a delay going into a block dot of redstone up there then we’re going to have another repeater four ticks of a delay and then one final repeater and we’re not gonna touch this one so just

One tick go that guy into a block with a sticky piston on it then we’re gonna put another repeater facing that way two more blocks and two more redstone and there you go that should be the opening mechanism for that piston we have one more piston left

And to connect up the final piston you’re gonna want to come over to this block right here that we placed and we’re going to put a torch on the other side of that guy and now we’re gonna take some repeaters and make sure you keep in track this repeater right here

For ticks of a delay going into a block another repeater on four ticks of a delay going into another block and then another repeater for ticks of a delay going into another block then we’re gonna put a repeater right here and this is on one tick of a delay then come over

Here put a repeater on three ticks of a delay one two three and have that guy going into a block awesome so now what we’re gonna do is come off of this guy go redstone redstone then we’re gonna put a repeater right here have that guy

Going in to a block and then a torch on the side of this guy just like that and that’s gonna go ahead and power the piston now it’s actually necessary to remove this block right here and make sure this sticky piston doesn’t actually grab this block so it should just be

Chilling here make sure you destroy any of those two blocks I accidentally had one there and we don’t want this torch powering that piston so yeah no block right here now there are two blocks required for this redstone mechanism to work and that is a block right here and

Also make sure there is an air block above it so nothin up here so that way the piston can actually pull the rail off and it won’t have anything blocking it or in the way and then you also need a block right there and that way the minecart won’t get pushed off but

Anything else is up to you guys to try to hide this redstone over here you can see I very simply just put a nice layer of grass on top and sort of made it a hill along with over here but if we remove any of these blocks you can sort

Of see that the redstone is just peeking by there’s that other piston that we built so feel free to go ahead and try to hide it you can put blocks anywhere around here just don’t make make sure you don’t block any of the redstone anyway you should be fine if you just

Basically cover it up and sure nobody can see the Redstone behind the machine so now you all should test it and see if the redstone device that you all have built actually works so we’ll go ahead and send a minecart it’ll trigger the detector rail and then it’ll

Get launched up it’ll land on the rail and be sent off in its married direction so there you go you guys might be happy with that redstone build essentially it’s a hidden entrance that pops out of nowhere and allows you guys to just you know come

Out of the ground looking all sweet and cool like that but we still have some more redstone to do we have to build a way for the user to input their device and input their password and then we have to program it to actually be working from the other side so let’s go

Ahead and do that all right so come on down here to this detector rail down in our secret entrance and what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna put a little repeater going into that guy on one tick of a delay come over 1 2 3 then we’re gonna

Build a staircase up one two and over one more now fill this all in with redstone and you’ll be good to go now we’re gonna place a block right there another block put a repeater right there on one tick one tick of a delay another block right there and another repeater

On one tick of a delay now what we’re gonna want to do is come on over here and we’re gonna put a repeater on four ticks of a delay going into a block put another block right there and a dot of redstone one more block right up and now

This gets very confusing with the amount of repeaters so make sure you guys are double-checking and actually making sure that you have all these delays correct but we’re gonna put a block right here and a repeater facing out in this direction on one tick of a delay a block right here

One more repeater in this direction on one tick of a delay a block right here and then a repeater facing in this direction on three ticks of a delay oh my goodness there’s so many repeaters so much is happening right now I know it’s alright but anyway what

We’re gonna do place a dot of redstone right there going over another dot of redstone then come up one block and one final down of redstone we have one more thing left to add and that’s going to be a half slab they’re just like that then come on over

Another dot of redstone then we’re gonna have a repeater on three ticks of a delay going into a block a dud of redstone right there and we should be good to go there’s a lot of repeaters going on here so let me briefly recap we

Got a dot of redstone going into a half slab three ticks of a delay up here four ticks of a delay going into a block dot of redstone one tick of a delay one tick above delay going in that direction another block one tick going in this way

Three ticks going in this way and one tick going in that way hopefully you guys got that so now we’re gonna build the area where you guys can actually throw the secret password in and what its gonna do is it will actually trigger and open up the door so

To mark the correct area you’re gonna want to come up to this slant rail right here and place a block to the right of that guy and we’re actually going to start counting now so this is 1 2 3 4 5

6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 so 22 blocks away and we’re gonna go ahead and this is going to be the area where you can throw your password I mean get rid of these blocks now but if

You guys don’t know what I’m talking about when you’re writing in the minecart and you’re writing along this area right here is where you’re gonna want to toss out your secret password and then the system will suck it up it’ll go ahead and say yes that is the

Correct password and it will open up the door you’ll fall down and then it’ll hand you your password back and you’ll be in your secret base that’s all that goes on right there so the first step is going to be taking in the correct password and that is in this little 3×3

Square right here now it’s very important that you mark this 3×3 square with something prominent that you can remember but doesn’t look suspicious from anybody just walking by an empty field with a minecart rail on it so I recommend using some flowers maybe marking out the edges or something like

That you could also go ahead and maybe plant a tree next to it and be like hey you gotta toss it out right at the tree you can go ahead and use coarse dirt there’s so many different options I would use flowers but you can

Put a cactus next to it you can replace these blocks with cobblestone I don’t know something that doesn’t look too suspicious but hopefully works out for you to remember next step we’re gonna come down three and over one then we’re gonna go ahead place yourselves a comparator

Facing in that direction and then we’re gonna place a hopper facing into that comparator now we’re gonna build a little 3×3 cube with the hoppers so just like that and you should be good to go next step we’re gonna take some rails they can be powered or unpowered

Whichever you guys prefer we’re gonna go one two three on each side I would actually recommend not using unpowered because they connect up like that but if you guys use powered rails they won’t connect up and you’ll be good to go so yeah you guys can use unpowered but they

They get a little annoying anyway what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna place two two minecarts with a hopper on it and then place one in the middle so that way they get nice and evenly spaced out and don’t actually destroy the rails or else they won’t be able to suck up items

Through the block but you can go ahead and test it now when you throw an item on the block up here they get sucked up and they get put into this hopper right here pretty cool stuff now we’re just gonna go ahead and quickly build a little item

Sorter to do that two dots of redstone right there and then a repeater in that direction just like so on one tick of a delay have that guy going into a torch right there and then we can just put ourselves another hopper we got one final connection to make and

Then we will officially be done with the Redstone so that’s going to be a repeater right there going into a block and then just a straight line very easy right into that and boom just like that we have completed the hidden minecart entrance you guys should be proud of

Yourselves there are still a few more things to do but fundamentally that is everything that has needed to be done now all you have to go ahead and do is put in your password into this hopper now for the tutorial I will just be using some courts but I would recommend

Using you know a paper that you name password or something like that just so if your friends actually find your secret base they won’t be able to use it because they don’t have the secret password anyway go ahead and put in 18 blocks in the first slot and then

Fill the other slots with one block and you guys should be good to go and now I can go ahead and give this thing a tester ooh so just hop in your minecart and you’re driving by you’re gonna want to drop a woollen item on there and then wow I

Actually forgot to remove that block okay so sorry about that in case you guys left these here from counting you’re supposed to remove them okay let’s pretend that didn’t just happen but if we go ahead hop in our mine guard now put in our password and boom the

Secret entrance opens up we fall down and we continue going in our direction and it also works in the other direction now too so if we use our slime block haha just like that we found our secret mine her entrance and if you don’t throw in your password you just wander on by

Like you haven’t even seen anything it is amazing it is a secret entrance and you have just built it that is amazing now there is one more feature that is optional it is somewhat helpful but honestly it’s not very necessary and it does take a little bit of redstone anyway essentially what it

Does is it hand you your password back that you use to put in the machine so if you guys remember as we use the machine and as we throw in our password xx up our quartz block and we don’t actually get it back so to build a device that

Hands us our password back what we’re gonna do is come on down here and on this second powered rail we’re actually gonna break it and replace it with a dropper facing up and then we can go ahead and put it back there and then I just like to build a little bit of

Security so that way our item doesn’t fall out into our space but now just go ahead and you just gotta connect up the dropper to this little line of redstone right here so to do that all you got to do you know a little repeater and then three dots of

Redstone going into a block and that’s that’s good enough it connects it up to the dropper and so the dropper triggers when you put in the correct password and that will throw your password back however we still have to connect The Dropper all the way to those hoppers

Over there so to do that we are going to be going on a long adventure of hoppers all the way downtown this is the part that’s going to take a lot of iron and so I’m sorry to anybody doing this in survival but just break this guy right

Here and then connect it up and you will be good to go awesome that is it that is how you connect it up now in case you guys are low on iron and you don’t want to be wasting that many resources on a dumb little machine you can actually go

Ahead and instead of using all that iron you can replace it with a little dropper so we just have a dropper facing in this direction now we are gonna add a little redstone to the back that’s just a comparator right there died of redstone and then just like add a little repeater

Facing in this direction going into a block and that’ll pretty much do it now we just have to make replace this giant line of hoppers however far up you want to with a giant line of ice and this is much more cheaper it’s you know much more affordable I guess you should say

And then you just have to run a line of water so we’re gonna instead of using hoppers we’re gonna use a water stream going all the way down here so just go ahead and place a bucket of water wait until it gets to there please say sign

And another bucket of water and you guys should be good to go we do have to have this going into a hopper though and do make sure this is a torch if it’s a redstone block because you have to power this little little stupid rail right

Here but if it’s a block it will actually stick to the slime block that’s something that I ran into but you can give this an old tester by tossing in a password I think it takes one to cycle through but if you toss in another password it’ll go ahead and spit it out

And then it’ll travel down here and then you’ll have a password chillin in this dropper down here so now it’s all primed and ready if we go ahead and test it we’ll we’ll send in a ghost cart this time so we’ll send you through drop in

Our item you can see the dropper he drops out a little password for us and the new item comes down and he’s chilling in the droppers that way you pick up your password you enter your secret base but then when you leave it doesn’t actually trigger

The dropper so you’ll be good to go and you’ll continue on your direction so yeah the only step that you guys have left isn’t is um is grass all you got to do is cover up all this redstone so you can replace this block with a grass

Block along with all these blocks and that way boom just like that it’s completely hidden and there’s nobody you can tell it red stones here not at all it just looks like grass unless they just start randomly digging then that would be very unfortunate but hopefully that doesn’t
