How to Create Magical Bridges in Minecraft
Are you ready to give yourself some “magical powers” in Minecraft? With a few simple commands, you can create a bridge that appears when you walk on air. It may sound intimidating, but it’s actually quite easy to achieve this result by following the instructions provided.
Base Command
Start by placing a lever on a block and some redstone behind it. The first command is straightforward. It will only execute if the block below you is air. Then, it will replace the air with another block of your choice, such as packed ice. The command is as follows:
/execute at @p if block ~ ~-1 ~ minecraft:air run setblock ~ ~-1 ~ minecraft:packed_ice
Variations of the Second Command
To ensure that the blocks left behind do not remain permanently and ruin the aesthetic of your world, you’ll need to run setblocks of air around the player. This involves placing 33 command blocks activated by the lever. The commands for destroying the packed ice blocks and replacing them with air can be found in the video description.
Particles
If you want to enhance the visual effect, you can add particles that follow you as a special effect. Check out the creator’s previous video for a complete explanation of this mechanism.
Final Result
Once you’ve completed the commands, walking on air will cause the blocks to appear beneath you, and they will be destroyed when you move away. You can customize which blocks appear and the particles to achieve different effects.
