Well hello everybody and welcome back to another minecraft video this is mythical sausage how is everybody doing oh man we are back again doing another tutorial and today we’re gonna be doing this awesome minecraft storage house that you see right behind me it’s very similar to the one i did In my hardcore world and it’s just a little bit bigger so i give you guys a little bit more storage in this one but you know what let’s get it started let’s build this thing right now block for block let’s go and here we go with the block palette so We’re going to be using some oak logs some trip oak some spruce logs some spruce planks stairs slabs trap doors also some strip dark oak log the dark coat trap door regular clear glass the panes and the full block also some stone brick some cobble and a Couple things along the way and here we go with the dimensions so we got everything all laid out in wool and logs count up the blocks find yourself a nice clear spot and we’re gonna get this started right now and as far as the actual dimensions from corner To corner this is a 17 long by 13 wide and then we’re going to be having sections in each one of these little three by threes we’re going to have chess stacked up in every single pod going down this way and going down this direction gonna have a weigh-in going right up the Middle and in the back we’re gonna have a little smelting section it’s also gonna be a little chimney popping out in the back and there’s an egg right there with the chicken now we’re gonna get it started right here in the front with our spruce log and we’re gonna take this up One two three four and five space of two up by five space of five up by five space of two and then up by five here we’re gonna be placing upside down stairs in front of every log going down like so then we’re gonna place pop-out logs on top of these Above this we’re going to place it upside down stair again all the way down pop out logs again and then upside down stairs again on this level then next up let’s work on the inside part we’re going to put a cross beam right here on this level upside down stairs cross beam again Upside down stairs and another cross beam again and then repeat this over here on this side now here in the middle we’re going to place a cross beam going all the way down right here in the center i’m going to place a log on this section And one in this section giving you a space in between each i’m gonna put a stair facing down a stair facing down right on this side then right here we’re gonna place an upside-down stair upside down stair right here we’re gonna take these logs and take this Up one two three and four more one two three and four more like so cross beams on these sides right here upside down stair here and on this side and then cross beam oh cross beam on this side and on this side we’re gonna have a way to get up so First we’re gonna put a stair facing down give it a space of one and two upside down stair on this part pretty much matching what we have there and then cross beam right here in the center then next up we’re gonna put an upside down stair right here on the top another One here on the top and we’re gonna be placing some slabs in the gaps in between and then we’re gonna put some trapdoors one and two one and two right here in the front then we can also get red if you did have this you can get rid of those bits And just put anything down there grass of course dirt right now let’s just cover these up in grass and then we have our front facade done now jumping over here on this side we’re gonna give it a space of three up by five space three also up by five Another space of three up by five and then another space of three and then up by five then for these pop-out logs here it’s gonna be opposite of this so we’re going to be placing the log underneath every other one and then upside down Stairs like so so it has this look to it on this end and then we’re going to continue and do it all the way down here matching exactly what we did on the first ones so they all should look like this now for the walls back here we’re not Going to have any windows because this is going to be where our chests are going to be so all of these are going to match exactly the same so cross beam on the bottom every other one gets a cross beam going all the way to the top and then we’re Going to be placing some upside down stairs in those gaps so everything is going to look just like this repeat it one two three more times and at the end it should look just like this now for added details i’m going to make little flower boxes here So you can use either grass or you can use coarse dirt pods or anything would be fine and then here i’m going to be covering these up with some dark oak trap doors for this i’m gonna be placing some berry bushes but you can place really anything flowers Uh or any kind of plant that’s fine i’m gonna be placing these berries going all the way down just like this now all we’re gonna do is repeat this on the other side and the other side should look exactly the same just like this now another Thing that i like to do is grabbing these buttons over here this is just regular oak and just putting them on the exposed log pieces all the way around you can use any kind of button as well doesn’t have to be oak and also we’re going to be putting them On these little bits right here now here in the back side let me show you how to set this up pretty similar to what we did over there but we’re gonna have a big furnace fireplace right here in the back so it’s gonna be a little different Now for this one give it a space of two up by five as well space of five up by five like this then we’re gonna do the same thing here on the back but this time we’re gonna put our logs on the top level so up one Just like so over here as well we’re gonna be placing our upside down stairs all the way on top of every one of these logs here same thing cross beam every other one going all the way to the top and then our upside down stairs in those Gaps so then we’re just gonna repeat this over here on this end and it should look just like this now for right now i’m just gonna go with cobblestone right here in this corner one two three four and five over here as well up by five I’m gonna leave this part open and let’s just set this up for now we’ll detail this chimney after because we’re gonna have to break through the roof a little bit later so for right now let’s just go out of block so right here on this level Let’s go cover these up just by three and just match it uh right to this section for right now now jumping back here to the front let’s start adding the middle section so we’re gonna go right from this log right here in the front we’re gonna go up another one Two three four and five here we’re gonna give it a space of one two three four and five and over here again we’re taking this up by five matching that side then we’re gonna continue with this log pattern going up so we’re gonna put another pop out here upside down stair pop out Upset on stair and then once we get to the very top we’re gonna do one more pop out so just like so repeating it over here so every other one gets a pop-out log and then we’re putting upside down stairs underneath like this then here we’re gonna also Do another cross beam going down this direction right here in the middle we’re gonna go up another one two three and four one two three and four and then pretty much what we did on here on the bottom we’re gonna put our upside down stay over here Upside down stair over here on this side here we’re gonna leave this open we’re gonna put another cross beam on each upset on stairs on each cross beam on each then over here we’re gonna put another cross beam at the top and we’re gonna have a three high window right here on This side then for added detail we’re gonna put a little flower box here as well so one two and three and then grab your same trapdoors that we had over here and then this cover this part up on the sides though as well and then also here on the end and we’re Gonna have a little flower box right there we could have a smaller window if you like you could do something like this and just one high window or you can leave it three uh it’s really up to you guys actually let’s leave it just like this Now jumping over here in the back we’re gonna pretty much mirror what we did on that side but without the windows so right on this log we’re gonna go up another one two three four and five space of five up by five again i’m gonna do a cross beam right here on This section now we’re going to be placing pop-out logs every other one going up every other one going up stairs upside down underneath every one of those logs we just placed then we’re gonna go up on this second one up by four up by four and then here we’re going to Do an upside down stair upside down stair cross beams here so upside down stair upside down stair cross beams here then for this one we’re pretty much gonna put those crossbass in the same spot but here we’re just gonna fill this in with just four blocks because you’re not going to see it This chimney is going to go up to the top also don’t forget our oak buttons and we’re going to place those on those exposed logs right here now let’s work on this side roof here to connect to this section so for this one we’re going to Grab slabs so let’s put a slab right here on this line and we’re gonna double slab it up double slab and another double slab until we match level to that stair and then take this slab going all the way down like so until we get to the same spot on the Other side which is right here double slab double and another double matching that stair right there now over here we’re going to grab our dark oak log and we’re going to take this all the way down on this level right here going from one side to the next then on This one we’re going to grab our dark oak again and place one down on this side right here and another one one and two up on this end this one’s going to continue all the way down though we’re going to use our same slab and it’s going to connect to this side And then we’re going to match it over here so go down again and we’re going to take this up and take this one all the way down again this way so we have this cool pattern look to our roof from the outside like this now another thing we’re going to do for Details we’re going to place slabs every other one going all the way down right here and then we’re going to grab our trapdoor of our spruce and let’s place this right in those gaps in between and it should look just like this only think this one Twist it back there we go it should look like this from the top then all we’re gonna do is repeat this style proof on the other side and now we have this side matching the other one now one more thing i want to do is grab these trapdoors and let’s place it On the top level right here and just go all the way down this gives us a little bit more detail here on the outside edge gives us a nice little overhang bit and then we’re going to match this one over here on this side and it should look just like this for Both sides now another little bit of detail we could do here is place some trapdoors in those gaps we’re gonna place a trapdoor over here on this side one over here and then two more over here on this end then we can start lifting this up again so we can take This pretty much all the way to the top and we’re gonna stop right here at this level and then we can mix and match details later on but for right now i see that chimney right there now we’re gonna come back here on this end and we’re gonna work out some Details so one thing that i want to do is put a cross beam going down right here on this level pretty much matching exactly where we have that roof starting off right there i’m gonna place another one here on this side and then this log is gonna go all the way down Here to the end just like this then what we’re gonna do is i’m gonna work out a little bit of a pattern over here let’s give the space of three go up by three space of three up by three space of three up by three and this leaves us with another space of Three right there i’m gonna do the same thing over here on this side so space three space of three another space of three matching that side right here now from here we’re gonna grab our full glass blocks and go up one and two and then place two panes one on Each side so we have this little bay window look and we’re gonna do this all the way down in this section uh just a two high window on each and then from here we’re gonna grab our logs and let’s do a cross beam at the top you have this cool little bay window Look and we’re just gonna repeat this on the other side and it should look like this on both sides now let’s work on the roof gonna grab our spruce stairs and let’s go with a simple step pattern going straight up the middle just like this once we get to the top we’re gonna Go ahead and put a little upside down stair right here and on the top we’re gonna put a slab then we’re gonna just repeat it over here on this side so simple step pattern going all the way up just like so and it’s gonna cap off just like that Then we’re gonna grab these stairs and take it all the way down pretty much mirroring uh the other one on this side we’re gonna stop on this edge and do the same step pattern going up to the center right here upside down stair in the middle slab on the top And then come right back down this direction until we match what we did on the other side right about here and then same thing we’re going to take this one all the way down just like that then same thing we did down here at the bottom i want to do it Over here on this side so we’re going to be placing slabs every other one going down like so and then once we do that we’re going to grab our trapdoors right here and let’s take these here at the bottom going all the way down as well And then to match what we did on this we’re going to do another little overhang right here on the top edge with the trapdoors and take it all the way down like so now once we have that let’s go ahead and repeat it over here on This side and it should look like this both sides mirrored with this overhang now next up in the middle we’re going to grab our dark oak strip logs and we’re going to take it all the way down for this one make sure it’s not the exposed one so we have this full log Right here and we’re going to take this all the way down from one side to the next we’re going to do it on every single one of these even up here going all the way back down and then just take this from one end to the other Now once we have this roof in place we’re gonna add some details here to the top so one thing i’m gonna do from here we’re gonna go down one two right here on this section we’re gonna put a spruce trap door then i’m gonna place stairs going up one two three Up here i’m gonna put a slab then it’s gonna repeat it on this side so go all the way down with your stairs trap door on this side then we’re gonna do it over here as well so one and two on the second one stairs going up slab on top Make sure you put that trap door here to connect it wrap this around back here so it stairs all the way down trapdoor here now i want to place another one in the center bit which should be right about here if we count there’s a one two One two three four five six block space from that trapdoor to this one and another one two three four five six block gap space from that trap door so right here in the center place some stairs going up same thing slab on the top stairs going Back down like so and then a trap door here at the edge now right here we have a little bit of a gap right in the center matching that one over there we’re gonna do some details here for this one i’m gonna place some upside down stairs every other one like so Then we’re gonna be placing some slabs in the gap so just like that then for the inside part we’re gonna grab two oaks we’re gonna grab regular oak log and the stripped oak log just like that we’ll do a little bit of a tudor style so i’m gonna place the Oak in the middle one and two one over here one one and the strip one and two one and two on this side and then we’re just gonna match this put it on the other side now for this back part we’re going to be adding a nice detailed fireplace so This is how i set it up it’s going to be unique it could be different for you guys but this is how i like to do it so first thing let’s come right back down here i’m going to add some more details let’s do this all out of cobble first And then i’ll mix some texture blocks with stone brick so right here we’re gonna go up one two let’s put a stair facing down right here over here on this side let’s go up another one put a stair sideways right here this we’re going to go up another one two Three four let’s go up five let’s put a stair right here here i’m gonna go up another one two three let’s put a stair going this direction and another one going up one two three let’s go with a stair sideways on that side and another stair right here on this bit And let’s go up with another one block and a stair and they stay right there so it’s nice and broken it looks pretty cool then we can come back in here and add stairs randomly in certain spots we can just go one and two right there on that side And then here at the top i’m actually going to take this one down another one and two let’s put the stairs sideways like so here i’m gonna go down just one put a stair sideways here and i’m gonna take this up until we get here one and then a Stair right on the inside like so then from here i’m gonna pop out this section let’s bring up our cobble again one two three let’s go up four more here i’m gonna place our campfire block and let’s surround this in trapdoors now you don’t have to do it Exactly how i did it now you can just use this as inspiration and go from there but it should look something like that really super simple but it looks pretty cool then i’m going to go back in and just texture a little bit with stone brick just randomly scattered going down to This line uh until it looks pretty cool it is up to you guys how much you want to put uh and it should look pretty good something like that would make it look awesome now just a little bit of detail up here just like we did on the other side i’m Gonna place uh for this one let’s just get trapdoors go one and two and then one on this side just to give you a little bit of lining right there now we’re almost done with the outside one last thing i’m gonna do put a glass right there Put some berry bushes on the front over here uh we can just put a little bit of bush just randomly scattered it doesn’t have to be a pattern it doesn’t have to be a flower box you could though if you wanted to uh but for these little corner bits They’re just gonna add just a little bit of bush just on the bottom we could do the same thing over here on this side as well so just a little bit kind of wrapped around uh this edge another one may be right here wrapped around this corner as well Now let’s set up the interior this is going to be super simple we’re going to follow the same guideline when we have this log just go down one two and three and take your spruce lock all the way to the top till we get to that cross beam Space of three all the way up to the cross beam space to three and then all the way up to the cross beam like so then another thing we’re gonna do is raise this up by one more so we’re gonna go ahead and just put up spruce Now once we have that set up let’s go ahead and put these beams here on this side as well so space of three over here up to the beam space of three up to the top and another space of three so we have this look to it just like so now Let’s start dividing these walls up so i’m going to place some cross beams right in the same level with the other cross beams are from the outside we’re gonna place this going all the way down then right here at the top we’re gonna grab our dark oak and take these down Here to cover up the top bit and then in the middle gaps let’s just grab some of our spruce planks and then cover these up and now we have ourselves uh different sections for our storage now if you wanted to totally maximize the whole space just don’t put the walls just put chests Going all the way down from top to bottom now we can’t take chest all the way up to the very very top because these are full planks or four logs right there so the chest can only go up one two three and four rows up so up here for details let’s just grab Some of our fences of our oak take it all the way down here then i’m going to be placing some slabs every other one going down and then we’re going to grab some of our spruce trap doors and place those in the middle so it should look like this then we’re Just going to repeat this on this side now the next thing we’re going to do is just add some fences i’m going to put a fence right here in this little cross beam section right in the middle another fence and another fence here i’m going to put a trapdoor on the top Like so and we’re going to hang some lights right here underneath these fences and then repeat it over here on this side now from here we’re going to do some cross piece at the top so right where these logs are in place let’s put a beam right at the top level Where the dark hook is another one over here on this side and then one more over here on this end then i’m going to grab some stairs let’s go upside down stairs of our spruce on on the bottom of every one of these cross beams and then i’m gonna grab our Trapdoors let’s place them on the side right here and it’s gonna go on every single one of these beams and then once we have that in place let’s grab some chains i’m gonna go right from the middle let’s go down one and two one and two over here and then one And two right here we’re gonna play some lanterns going down right here on this side we have this whole place lit up pretty nice but just for added details in the center right here let’s put a barrel sideways so it kind of looks like the chain is being wrapped around That section so right here on the top replace those with barrels and then one of the last things i’m going to do is place them upside down stairs right here so we have a nice transition from this oak to the spruce so upside down stairs every other one And then grab some slabs place those in those gaps and then over here on this side we’re going to repeat it so upset on stairs every other one and then slabs in the gaps like so also to match these hanging lights over here i want to place a couple more On this side so let’s place a fence right here on this end one more on this side lanterns hanging from there and then trap doors on the top you can also repeat it and do it over here so one and one trap doors on top and then land turns hanging from this Side and this side so it’s pretty much going all the way around with our lighting now right here in the back wall we can add our furnace arrays so we can go ahead and put a crafty bench in the center let’s put a couple barrels at the bottom And then usually just go with some furnaces some blast furnaces and then here at the top we can just throw in some smokers going all the way down like so now one of the last things left to do is just go ahead and put chest All the way down this row on both sides another option if you guys wanted to have even more lighting over here you can knock down these bits over here put glowstone shroom lights jack-o-lanterns whatever you guys want if you had you want to add a little bit more light to this area And there it is i had a little bit more detail here just by putting some bushes here at the top also some flower pots up here just adds a little bit more life on the inside here of the storage room but we’re all done all the chests are all up we have Everything in place it is looking really really awesome what do you guys think and here we go one last look with shaders what do you guys think of our awesome storage building over here this is a lot of fun i love this storage building in my hardcore world it is one Of my favorite builds in there if you guys are following the hardcore series let me know what else would you like to see from that series here as a tutorial if you guys haven’t checked it out go ahead and check that out this is uh it’s a fun series i love it So much but i’m out of here for now thank you all so much for watching thank you for hanging out with me today and i’ll catch you
