I spent I spent a bunch of today uh I saw this video that gave some really really interesting and good advice on making thumbnails and making videos like more engaging and stuff and So I kind of spent a bunch of time like like thinking about thumbnails for previous videos and trying to figure out ways that I can improve them and uh I also changed the title of a couple different videos and stuff so I’m thinking I don’t know the next video Will hopefully be even better as a result of this cuz I’ll be I’m going to probably once I finish editing like the first round of it basically I’m probably going to rescript like big chunks to make the video better but it will take a lot less Long because I’m not going to be like I’m not going to be like redoing the whole thing it’s just going to be like cutting out parts that aren’t that interesting and doing and like rephrasing things cuz I realize for for videos that take as long as mine do I probably should focus a Little bit more when like scripting and stuff on like efficiency and how I communicate stuff because sometimes you can say A you can say a lot with very few words and sometimes I say very little with a lot of words and and that’s bad especially for YouTube videos Cuz people are going to just click off so I’m going to probably go back and try and like make the video even better than it currently is um but that won’t take nearly as long as getting like the first draft of it done which is Good how many how could Challenger miss your birthday like this I don’t know man you play I don’t know what that is and I don’t uh Premier Pro has like an auto subtitle feature that is pretty pretty solid it makes mistakes sometimes but some but like one thing I learned from making shorts is that mistakes in videos are actually pretty good because if they’re small Mistakes um as long as you don’t make like drastic mistakes mes that are going to like like if you make mistakes in like research and stuff to the point where it’s um to the point where people are going to like get mad over it and like dislike the video that’s bad but if You make like a subtitle mistake you know no one’s going to like care about that Beyond being like haha what a stupid idiot he made a subtitle mistake and they comment that and then easy easy uh easy easy engage engagement you know so making M like the fact that Premiere Makes mistakes is actually kind of great sometimes uh cuz sometimes it thinks of like it finds very wacky ways to hear what I’m saying for example I said hoglands in one video and it wrote out ockland or something like that and I just left it in cuz I was like that’s Kind of funny and like I’ll just leave it uh but it’s like I would never have I would never have been like yeah hoglands alands same thing I hate those comments where they just quote the video we just watched I’m not I don’t hate them but they’re not particularly Original feel like if you want um if you really want to get a lot of likes on a comment though just go and quote the video and then boom ah bro destroyed the nether I did um it’s about war we should not talk about it right now yeah I would I would Agree hey I’m getting my effects back nice I’m I always miss my effects whenever I leave the beacon range it’s so it’s so sad not having the effects but it would be so much work to put Beacon even further out so so that I why you’re like by default you’re not able To receive them so you guys want to turn that on before I gift the sub yes it off it’s normally off yeah you want to turn on allow gifts so that you guys can get the the gifted Subs if you want them I think apparently it will Also WR in chat it will also in chat um like give you the option to like give you the option to uh to turn it on once the first one pretty fast Walker and the automatic doors on all the buildings at my school are relatively slow and so because of of That I will be like walking and then I just have to like stop and wait for the opinion I have that I am definitely going to make into a YouTube short and Tik Tok um very unpopular opinion but I do not want Mojang to add all three mobs to the game and and allow me to explain I personally think that whatever Mojang Cooks up for an actual update is going to be much much better than the mobs and if we make them if we if they listen to our concerns or to to the community who’s like stop the mob vote add all three Mojang is lazy if they listen to Them then the next update is going to either be smaller or take longer and and it’s just going to add three mobs that are not all that useful I would much rather Mojang add what they want to add than add all three of the mobs that they’re doing for Marketing purposes the mob vote is literally just a marketing things to get more publicity and more people talking about Minecraft like I don’t think that any of the Mojang devs actually want to do the M the mob vote I think that I think that realistically it was it’s probably a Microsoft decision to have the mob vote Microsoft was probably like this will get us a lot of people this will get a lot of people talking about Minecraft um but but the like I would much rather just let let one mob happen and then let one mob get in and then Mojang can work on the up the update that they actually think is good for the game for the rest of the time how dare you wait one of my tons of women just hit me up and said it would be so hot if I was a dash pum member so Could you please give me member H that’s a compelling argument women do tend to find you hot if you are a dash pum the mob vote I think personally the mob vote does just like Divide the game so I think it would be nice if the if next year there is no mob vote and they just add whatever they feel like adding but I don’t think that they should stop the mob vote this year because if they stop if they if they Stop the mob vote we’re either going to get nothing which I doubt they would do cuz that would get a lot of backlash or we will get all three of the mobs which will just wind up which will just wind up making the rest of the development Cycle take even longer and I don’t want to I don’t want to wait for the rest of the development cycle yeah and also I agree with render yeah like people people always be saying Mojang is lazy and like yes modders can add stuff to the game in like a day That’s that’s true but also I was I was using a mod right I was using this mod um that added all three of the mobs to the game and they were added not very well a like the armadillo looked terrible in the video I made the AR uh In the video I posted this morning the armadillo is in it and it looks bad if the armadillo was going to look like that in the game I I don’t know if I would vote for it cuz it looks bad it looks ugly but the mob vote like the Image that’s in the mob vote itself is really cute and then they just like did a poor job adding it and I don’t know I’m sure I feel like I feel like I feel like Mojang isn’t isn’t just lazy I feel like it just is that they have They have more stuff to do than ju than modders do you know modders are able to add stuff to the game in like a day because because modders don’t have to worry about like integrating the mobs in a way that they won’t break a million other parts of the game mods are Generally a lot less stable than than the base game and then like and then mods just don’t have the same polish that the uh that the base game will have I build a lot I vote crab I build a lot dude I I literally spend the entire time in my hardcore World Building so like I can I can say confidently that it’s not that hard to just move closer to the to the Mob if you just like the crab because like funny crab guy that’s that’s like that’s fine you know but it’s not the most useful mob by any Means it just it just extends reach you know all it does it just extends reach speaking of which do I have my player reach turned off um reach block reach distance is that what it is okay I have it off good um I turn turned it on when I was making the Turtle or the video about the mob vote not the turtle about the crab and I was like I hope I don’t have that on cuz for some reason tweo um it lets you turn that on without being in cheats mode and it also it also um like carries over From world to world it’s not like a it’s not like a this world has it but the next one doesn’t so so if I like turned it off and forgot to turn or turned it on and then forgot to turn it back off I would have been like minorly cheating You know but I’m not we’re chilling um by the way people are taking the mob boat way too seriously it’s a block game it’s not going to force your wife to divorce you dude I don’t know man I don’t know I’m probably I’m probably going to divorce My wife if if she votes for anything other than the armadillo I don’t have a wife but n dude I’m so glad my girlfriend agreed with me cuz like I mean it would have been fine I wouldn’t have cared if she I wouldn’t have cared that much if she hadn’t agree with me But I’m glad she did like dude I was actually so shocked when she when she told me like the penguin is just the dolphin I was so shocked she knew that because she hasn’t played Minecraft in like 2 months since we got to school the last time we played Minecraft was like months ago and we’ve like barely interacted with dolphins so I’m like I was like very impressed that she knew that that’s what that that the penguin is basically just a dolphin you know um cut out people from your life if they vote the wrong mob yeah for real When is the voting period open I think it’s um what like October 13th or something October 13th to 15th something like that it seems like the crab is going to win unfortunately from from the polls that I’ve seen it seems like penguin is definitely last and then crab is first Which is tragic cuz I really feel like once people realize how annoying it is to carry around the Crab Claw or like it like it it does depend on how they implement it because obviously if we spec you know it might have durability but if it doesn’t then It’s not nearly as bad but if it has durability and it’s not that high of durability and you have to like constantly mend it I could see a world where Mojang adds this thing and then just no one uses it because they’re like oh man this is actually more of an Inconvenience than it helps cuz I could just move closer you know if it’s implemented well could be cool I think I’m kind of of the mindset that regardless of which mob gets voted in I will be okay with it as long as it’s not the penguin I I just don’t Think the penguin will add any value to the game I think it will be like the panda where it’s it was a mob that we wanted and then it got added to the game and no one cares about the panda anymore it has it has like almost zero Functionality it’s just a mob that’s there it is helpful if you are doing peace full mode playthroughs though so this very well could be a another Phantom situation if the crab gets added oh what’s up Razer how’s it going um I don’t think it would be a phantom Situation if the crab got added like I don’t think it’s going to be a mob that everyone hates I think there’s I think there’s always that chance with every mob that we could that some players aren’t going to like it um like like if we’re Like a f Phantom is a very unique mob in that the whole like like 99% of the player base literally doesn’t want it to be in the game I think for like glow squid right nobody’s mad that it’s in the game they’re just mad that it’s in The game as opposed to having another better mob in the game like there were better options and that’s why they’re upset they’re not upset about its existence though as far as I know I don’t think people are like man I would rather have nothing than the glow squid Like the glow squid isn’t an isn’t an annoying mob or anything you know which is why I feel like I feel like I doubt we will have because it’s a passive mob I uh I very highly or at least I think it’s going to be a passive mob I very Highly doubt any mob I think Mojang has learned from their mistakes and they aren’t aren’t going to do any mobs that have the potential to be like objectively bad or like like to be so hated you know I think the worst that’s going to happen is we’re going to get a Mob that we’re all that like people just realize after a little while is like not as useful as they thought it was I think that’s what might happen with the armadillo to be honest hey thank you very much Harris glow squid is probably more accurate than Phantom yeah Glow squid is certainly a mob thank you so much Harris money W let’s go I think I think that there’s a decent chance that the armadillo that like I get the armor for my mob and then and then I don’t really mess with the armadillo anymore and like like I will admit that But I also think that it’s the best option because the three options are all not that good and I think that the armadillo is the only one that adds something new to the game whereas the other the other two mobs just like it’s like if they had if there was a choice Between like a mob that gives you strength five and a mob that um and a mob that does something totally unique like uh like it helps you find diamonds right I would take the mob that helps you find diamonds because it’s actually unique The Crab Claw just Extends reach which is a helpful thing but it’s it’s just like the thing that they’re that it does is just make it is just like they increase the variable you know the variable that dictates how far a player can reach that’s that’s all the Crab Claw is going to Do and so I would much rather the mob that’s actually going to add new unique content to the game rather than just the mob that will be that will like increase the the I guess ease of playing Minecraft it will maybe make Minecraft a little bit easier but Minecraft building is already pretty Easy like I don’t really feel like we need extended reach I don’t often find myself too struggling to reach somewhere to the point where I like like if I were to complain about things in Minecraft one of the things that I would complain about would not be Like oh man I hate how short my I hate how short my arms are you know I hate that I can’t I hate that I can’t can’t uh reach stuff sometimes because oh there we go cuz I would just I can just place down a couple scaffolding blocks and then go and build It iot crab has the opportunity to be amazing but it’s all up a chance and we don’t really know what we’re getting while the armadillo is cool and pretty much know what we’re going to be getting yeah I personally think that even if even if the armadillo didn’t have armor Like didn’t provide wolf armor I still think I like it more than the crab because the armadillo like if the armadillo was literally just an ambient mob I still like it more than the crab and you know why because the mangrove swamps just got added to the game I don’t need an update For them also they’re so rare I see Savannah biomes all the time and they’re like one of the emptiest biomes in the game I would love to have them not be empty anymore it would be great I think it’d be so great to have the to have Them not be super boring 1 2 3 4 five Dash I haven’t About my hot take on why they shouldn’t cancel the mob vote because I don’t know cuz I just think it’s I just want to talk about that cuz I think I think everyone saying cancel the mob vote is a little silly I get that it will suck if your mob doesn’t get voted In but I do feel like I feel like they should just end the mob vote for the future like and I feel like I have I feel like I’m reasonably correct in saying that whatever if all three mobs get added um they won’t provide much content To the the game whereas like if you think about if you think about the Strider or not the Strider if you think about the sniffer and you think about the update as a whole the other stuff that got added to the update was much more influential um what was the mob that got Added to like the the nether update was there a mob that got added in the nether update I don’t know but like caves and cliffs like every update the stuff that gets added actually adds new content that’s like that’s like a significant portion and I’d much rather them work on That than other stuff you know stop adding democracy in Minecraft yeah I also that that’s the other thing that I think I think the I think that the Mojang developers know better than we do about what will be an what will be a good addition to the game most of the Time I do think there are exceptions but I do feel like like I do feel like the Mojang devs have have pretty good updates like I don’t know the nether update was a was a fantastic update and like and then like caves and cliffs was a pretty good update the only thing that Sucked about it was you know that it took forever but like feel like the Mojang devs kind of know what they’re doing and I I don’t personally mind Le leaving them alone and letting them develop what they want to develop I mean to be fair they prob they Might they might want to develop the they might want to develop these mobs because like they do they do it’s not like we vote for what mob gets added to the game it’s like we vote from one of the three choices that they came up with so they might actually not mind the Mob boats but I feel like the I feel like their time is better spell spent elsewhere why is there no armadillo Emoji H tragic also like you guys remember like people for a while were asking for like a nether boat you know like a lava boat and then Mojang added the Strider The Strider was way better than is is a way better mob or is a way better thing in the game than a lava boat is like it’s way cooler and it has more interesting interactions and stuff than just adding a lava boat so I don’t know I just I I tend to Feel like if we leave Mojang alone if we let Mojang cook they’ll cook up something good so that’s why I don’t really want to that’s why I don’t really want to try and get all three mobs added also some people are saying like don’t vote as though as though that’s going to stop Them like Perhaps Perhaps this year we get like historically low amounts of votes you know and Mojang’s like whoa that’s crazy like nobody voted this year they’re still just going to choose whoever wins cuz not there’s bound to be someone who votes you know one of the Mojang employees will probably Vote Dash what mob you voting with T-Mobile 5G um I will be voting the armadillo with my T-Mobile 5G let Mojang cook I think so we already know Dean Norris is Warden who is that the obsidian boat is better than the Strider no it’s not the obsidian Boat would be so boring The Strider is like a cool well like a relatively cool mob that walks along the the lava and like it’s it’s a lot more complex than it’s a lot more of a complex mob than adding a lava boat is like piglins can ride on it and stuff It adds life to the it adds life to the nether I I definitely think that the Strider is a lot better than a lava boat would have been just crafting a boat out of obsidian and then doing and then like using it would have been like the exact Same it would have just been the same as a as a Overworld boat it’s a lot it’s It’s cool cuz like The Strider is cool cuz they added something new to the game you know they added something brand new to the game sure its functionality is similar to something else but rather Than just retexturing a boat and making it float on lava which would take them like 5 Seconds they went the extra mile and made a new mob that you have to find and then like you have to get this new mushroom that you use to to steer it and You need like a saddle and stuff they got they added a new use for Saddles overall definitely a better choice in my opinion than and like an obsidian boat I think this is the worst YouTube chat I’ve seen by far is it what is wrong with today’s YouTube chat it seems Fine feel like people think they know better than Mojang because of all the mods out there but I don’t think people realize that making Minecraft stuff is their job and they know more than anyone yeah I would agree oh you want to curb not really dang um I think the dolphin highspeed tunnel in the Overworld is pretty fast and you can travel eight times more I don’t actually recall if the Dolphin tunnel is faster than ice boats in the nether but it’s it’s definitely a lot harder like I think it is faster but because of the because of how fast it you move I’m pretty sure you can’t load chunks fast enough for that and it also is a humongous thing That you have to build like you have to build a very large Highway if you want to use dolphin boats and I think you might as well if you’re going to do if you need to travel that far that quickly I think it might be worth your while to Just build an ender pearl cannon at that Point feel like ender pearl can can is the way to go if you need that if you need that kind of speed you high rate spider Farms they’re not particular they’re not like super useful which is why you probably haven’t heard about them cuz like not people don’t usually need that much that many spider eyes
