In today’s Minecraft video I’m going to be showing you how to turn Minecraft Pocket Edition the Bedrock version into Legacy console edition it even comes with the old sound effects The download links are in the description once you’ve downloaded the needed files head over to settings you then want to scroll down to global resources now there is a few download options to choose between if you’re playing on mobile I.E IOS and Android you want to download this version which Is console aspects performance it’s just going to boost your performance if you’re playing on a pretty stable device a good PC a good laptop console Etc you want to download this this is the version that you want to get now what you want to do is activate this but also Activate the console shading check that it’s in the active section and make sure the console shading is above this once you’ve done that you want to back out this is then going to up update your main menu and it’s gonna give you this kind of glossy look which is what Minecraft console edition used to look like a quick shout out to the Creator this was created by agent Mindstorm he’s done a fantastic job and I’m pretty sure some of you in the comments section started on Minecraft console edition if you did what console edition version did you Start on I started on day one on Minecraft Xbox 360 edition like I mentioned this comes with the old sound effects that used to be available or Minecraft console edition go to the achievements section here you can see that the background is still the panoramic backgrounds they updated the Panoramic background to be Minecraft console edition before I go ahead and show you what else is possible with this add-on I just wanted to show you what it visually looked like if you have the shading on this when you don’t have it on because Minecraft console edition was Known for being quite bright and vibrant some people really like that and when they move to bedrock Edition they felt that it was quite dark so this is what it looks like on console edition and this is what you’re used to on Minecraft Bedrock Edition again it’s personal Preference I think a lot of people might prefer this these days just because you are used to Minecraft console edition now this pack whether you have the shading on or off is still active and that’s simply just a personal choice once again this is what it looks like With the shading off if we’re going to help an options and we just enable the shading this is what it’s going to look like with it on so let’s start off with the sounds we have play Joy in mini games load create create it’s the old Sound effects and even in the new create new world screen we have the console edition panoramic background as well so I’m just an old school big fan of Minecraft console edition I wouldn’t be where I am today in live if it wasn’t for Minecraft console edition just a Quick disclaimer this is not the Chris X alt UI changes I know that he created a full UI that looks like Minecraft console edition he is working on updating this but unfortunately it’s currently not supporting the latest version whether that’s 1.17 1.18 1.19 Etc when this is updated I will let you All know the first that you hear is the Hotbar now for those who played Minecraft console edition do you remember how raised the Hotbar was on Minecraft Bedrock Edition the Hotbar is touching the bottom of your screen now to be honest I’ve got used to the Bedrock Edition one however For old school sakes I do really appreciate the effort that the creator has gone through also if we get a forward slash game mode survival here you’ll see again where the XP bar is your hearts and the hunger now the next thing I want to show you is how your Items are going to look number one the way the gloss effect is well also what I want to show you is that when you hover over an item it even has that box around it like Minecraft console edition used to have again we always forget about these simple things and you can see Again Bedrock Edition has this it displays the enchantments that you had or have on your items which I really like Minecraft Java Edition doesn’t have that feature but I really appreciate it so let’s just uh put a romper on we’ll go with the helmet in fact we’ll take This off and put our wings on but again you can see the box which displays the enchantments you have on and again I like that like I mentioned the UI hasn’t changed but the Creator went ahead and changed the symbols within the creative menu like the hearts and the hunger the Stick the pickaxe being your tools and things like that again you’re not really going to notice huge differences unless you played Minecraft console edition well things that have changed here are the Pistons they’re exactly how Minecraft console edition used to be the colors I think of the dyed shulkers Have also changed as well now one thing that represents Minecraft console edition for me weirdly enough is the Nether Bricks and how the nether related blocks used to look they were a lot brighter should we say compared to the Bedrock version and Minecraft Java Edition there’s also been changes to cut Red Sandstone changes to the grass variations changes to the lava animation again you might not notice huge differences changes through the fire changes to the lanterns the magma and I believe even the portals and there’s also been changes to how the water looks the viewing distance that’s all changed I’m curious as to how the nether looks though okay so the nether really does make it look and feel like Minecraft console edition it was always much brighter so the elytra again meant to sound a little bit different does feel a little bit different here I believe there’s also been fireworks changes as Well so let’s fire this there has been changes to the likes of the sheep some of these are just model chair changes again if you played Minecraft console edition you will probably notice a difference as well apparently there was a change to creeper explosions probably to do with the white animation and the Exploding animation a visual change to how the bed look as well this is what it used to look like on Minecraft console edition also updated is the zombie attacking and how they used to attack you on Minecraft console edition I believe also updated is the Ender Dragon Boss Bar also matching console edition Is the Ender Dragon sounds and also the death animation might not notice a huge difference here unless you did play Minecraft console edition but I really love the explosions there let’s grab all the XP Video Information
