Mojing just brought back a 13 year old game mechanic and it kind of breaks Minecraft the 2023 April fools update introduces several relics of old Minecraft including the Aether Portal boats that explode upon impact rubies which are functionally the same as emeralds but also something completely buried in Minecraft history until now Back in 2009 Minecraft classic was released and it has some weird features but the weirdness has to be the lava spawner which was a solid block that you could place which would cause it to generate infinitely flowing lava on either side and early into 2010 this feature would be removed from the game Entirely due to it being so overpowered but fast forward 13 years in Mojang has subtly reintroduced it in the new April Fool’s update where if you get one of the new voting proposals talking about uncontrollable lava you can vote for it which causes any lava bucket that is Placed to make Source blocks extend infinitely eventually crashing the game but this also means that the mini game lava survival is playable in vanilla Minecraft without commands for the first time in nearly 14 years Video Information

Early Minecraft was weird, and thankfully most of its old remove featured remained buried in history, but with the new 2023 April Fools update, Mojang decided it was time to bring a few back, with 1 in particular being especially game-wrecking.
