EPIC MINECRAFT ADVENTURE – Episode 1: THE BEGINNING

What is up ladies and gentlemen we are back again or should I say starting a new series of Minecraft vanilla I I I don’t have any mods on because Frankly Speaking I’m so bad at like getting mods I always take these huge long breaks whenever I end up playing Minecraft and

So by the time I come back to it I completely forget like how to do anything like setting up fabric and OptiFine and all that crap uh I’m not against installing like some vanilla mods that would either be quality of life stuff or more importantly like I know there’s like the better animations

And stuff that I would love to have to just make the base game a little bit more interesting um but one thing I kind of really wanted to discuss with you guys and talk about was uh how I approach Minecraft how I’ve approached Minecraft in the past and how I’m going

To do it differently now so I’ve already got plenty of Minecraft videos on the channel um it’s one of those games that I’ve always just kind of played off and on uh it’s not my favorite game I’ll admit that while I enjoy the initial grind and I loved the caves update

Frankly Speaking I’m not the biggest fan of the whole resource Gathering type of thing right like I prefer fighting and combat and you know leveling up and junk like that like RPG stuff and so that’s why you know that’s why I play games like Trove instead of uh playing games like

Minecraft and uh oh sorry I had to sneeze right there uh why I kind of always moved on from Minecraft because I in a lot of ways had a unneeded pressure that I would put on myself to be like oh I got I got to do good I got to make

Good Minecraft videos I got speedrun through the game and you know all of that stuff right uh I don’t want to set up our base here actually and so to give you guys a bit of a story I basically have always Al used this for white D later I have watched Minecraft

Playthroughs for years like even before I started doing YouTube myself fulltime right and I love all of the people on hermitcraft uh more particularly I’m a big fan of uh Etho and BDubs right and so I just what kind I say like I love their content and it really inspired me

To get into YouTube in the first place and stuff just because they kind of are you know they’re always doing their own thing and it’s just really inspiring to me anyways uh long story short for whatever reason I always put in uh an unneeded pressure on myself when it came to creating

Content um I would basically like try my best to like always make like the Minecraft videos as interesting as I possibly could and it it it’s almost like I I don’t want to say I was trying to compete with the people of hermitcraft but more so it was like I

Was I felt like I was jumping into a big big pond that I was not like nowhere near as experienced as all these other people so I had to like really really work at it right but uh one thing that I’ve been doing for my whole new year’s resolution

Was uh being a lot more myself with the channel and what that kind of uh entailed was um being a lot more chill and just kind of doing things more the way that I would want to do rather than trying to do it the same way that

Everybody else is doing if that makes sense you know it’s not like I ever ended up conforming with my videos per se but I’m just saying like the goal with this series is it’s going to be a lot more slowed down I want this to be

An adventure that we can end up sharing together so I’m not going to end up making that many like huge I I’m not saying that I won’t end up making Cuts in the video eventually but it’s more like well if I’m uh uh you know if I’m

Building like a wheat farm for example that would normally actually be something that I would just completely cut out of the video and I would just kind of grind it out myself off camera because as far as I’m concerned I’ve seen the farming aspect of Minecraft a thousand times over you guys

Have two I’m sure uh you know even even what I’m doing right now where I’m just Gathering like some base supplies and junk like that this is nothing new when it comes to Minecraft but realistically I normally cut all of this stuff out of my videos

And I’m not going to do that this time so long story short this could potentially end up being a huge mistake it might end up being a really really boring series for you guys but my primary goal here is this is going to be a series for

Me that hopefully is something you guys end up getting into I guess like I I don’t know like I don’t really know if I have any plans with the series exactly it’s more so just having a very casual way about it where I’m not going to put

Any unneeded pressure on myself to live up to a certain standard instead I’m just going to end up oh chicken just going to end up playing Minecraft and trying to enjoy it and uh you know enjoy for what it is and not try to like make

It anything more than it needs to me I mean for all we know for all I know like maybe I’ll end up maybe I’ll stop the Minecraft series right away like maybe I’ll just randomly end up getting bored with the game but for the time

Being I just want to kind of have this as a bit of an experiment you know there’s not really any other games going on right now and it feels like it’s going to be a while before any other games come out because we’re kind of

Going into the new year and and uh so all of the games that I wanted to play I’ve already played and none of them are going to release until next year just because of uh well you know just because everything is waiting for a release next year so

That it can ultimately end up oh jeez you scared me so that it can end up uh being on the game awards for next year and stuff like that I need to desperately try and get my hands on a bed I mean if I die here Frankly

Speaking it’s not that big of a deal there n sheep what is that oh a cow okay I’ll take the leather I know I’m killing everything and that’s like kind of a big beginner’s mistake but at the same time it’s like I don’t care I want to kill things uh let’s see

How is this going to work yes I did notice him that’s exactly what I’m dang it you stupid Enderman I wanted to kill him that’s the only reason why I was uh setting all of that up oh God okay I’m going to have to

Set up a base a temp base inside like a inside a little hole aren’t I oh I should also wait a minute where’s my uh where’s my difficulty let’s turn that to Hard Mode I’m bad at this game but I’m just going to turn it to Hard Mode

Because that’s what I see everybody else always play this game on so yeah uh I need to I need to hide the night time cometh and unfortunately we don’t have any sheep stuff okay uh I think what I’m going to do is first of all we’re going

To set up a little bit of a camp here we got some coal let’s go I’m going to set up a little bit of a safety net here just so that I can hopefully I hear that Enderman he’s back scumbag so that I can hopefully have a a

Place to go back on if I uh if I end up like dying let’s just put a bunch of sticks I don’t care I need to make it bright for YouTube so that you guys can actually see what’s going on please don’t come down here

Monsters yeah I want to uh I want to set up kind of a safety net like a place that I can store all of these basic resources so that I can ultimately um go out and explore because I need like I need a bed so that we can

Actually like skip the night cuz as of right now now this is um this is going to be pretty bad but yeah again guys full full transparency full behind the scenes I’m just going to let you guys know I’m going to be including all of it

Okay I’m going to try to avoid making Cuts so you know even mining all of this this is part of the game and if I cut out all of the stuff that ends up being kind of monotonous or you know grindy uh well then Frankly Speaking we

Just wouldn’t have a series and that’s kind of what keeps happening with Minecraft now I’m not saying that I won’t end up making Cuts eventually but we’re right at the beginning man like I got to I got to end up like actually including all this otherwise we don’t have anything to

Stone this oddly really reminds me of um uh pixark pixark I ended up having a base where I built it like down in this little place uh let’s also get this open cuz I like using that um I wish there was a quick easy way that I could just

Plot more of those in but we are doing good oh dear lord ah it’s going to take so long to get all my storage and everything all set up okay let’s see oh I can’t just hold shift click oh that’s terrible I hate that okay I need I desperately need like a

Bunch of mods then just just little quality of life ones like that cuz uh yeah I hear you out there you stupid Enderman I want to I want to fight him okay uh food doesn’t even seem like it’s a problem at the moment honestly speaking let’s do that

Let’s do that uh actually no I don’t need to because all I need is this at the moment let’s just uh watch paint dry together actually I didn’t realize I had so much pork chops get that out of there um you know what I guess I could well I could Spruce

The place up but I’ll do so that’s that’s that’s busy work that’s stuff that I’ll end up doing like off camera you know like like changing out no no I got to resist dude cuz if I I again I’m sorry guys it’s just if I do if I do my

Usual where I’m like a nobody wants to watch me like replace the floor with wood but then I won’t end up you know then I end up making too many cuts and then next thing you know I’m doing all this stuff off camera rather than just enjoying it and it’s

Just I heard that was that a zombie wait a minute babies can get in here uh-oh I hear all sorts of mobs out there the Ender’s the big one that I want uh I also need a clock cuz uh this is kind of it’s a little bit gross not knowing what time

It is you know I hear you you stupid evil that was that a creeper e either way it’s clearly still nighttime right oh yeah oh yeah that’s that’s still night time what what does clay do if I uh cook that I honestly don’t remember what does clay turn into is this important

Brick Oh yeah doesn’t the new brick texture actually look really good let’s see uh I thought it it did or is that oh no it’s like the mud brick um I don’t know how to actually make the mud brick let’s get a couple of these you know what I should also put

Um I was about to say it actually looks good but uh I don’t think that’s true I do not know how to make mud bricks that’s probably from well it’s probably from mud isn’t it okay uh let’s see so what I want to do is I want to set this

Up so that we kind of have a bit of a better ah bit of a better uh little place going on here kind of running really low on my supplies here Um still doing all right okay this is going to kind of suck do I no I don’t have a shovel and the shovel break so freaking quick that I don’t really want to do anything with it I got to be really really careful here though I need blocks in my hot bar

Uh like that maybe no let’s set it to five sure also when do I end up running out of food is the music playing a good thing that’s still nighttime I don’t like that okay well either way we’ve got a little bit of a nicer uh Al Cove here

But I am going to have to get rid of these because I hate bonking my head on all of this crap and then on top of that we desperately need stairs right I don’t don’t want to you know what Cobblestone easy enough to get who cares let’s do it oh God it looks

Disgusting I’m going to build like my whole house out of cobblestone just just because screw it that’s why I should have put this in one more Block I’ll do that later all right uh so we got the glass going let’s get this raw chicken before this runs out hopefully we’re doing okay on our torches glass oh oh you know what I can do here we go there we go this way I can I can peek

To do the uh the super beginner thing to do I I learned this from my buddy I I never do this normally I mean it doesn’t really matter that much cuz we’re at World spawn oh I’m on a tiny little island this is my home this is it there’s nothing else

Here I’m I’m stranded it’s going to take so long to get out of here I mean I could make a boat and stuff we got sugarcane though okay uh uhoh how do I get down how do I uh oh boy okay uh let’s eat some food so that I can regen a little

Bit go okay we’re fine and then I got to get that sugar canane and start uh getting that all set up o oh look at this okay ow you know what we got enough food’s going to be a problem on a tiny little deserted island Frankly Speaking so I really shouldn’t be doing

This well I mean I shouldn’t be uh oh slimes cuz we’re by a swamp right okay nice uh let’s get where’s there we go little bit of Cobble not much sorry my thoughts are kind of scattered but I’m trying to uh hope hopefully get these two to line up so I

Got to go forward like three more blocks and then down a little bit more 3 4 5 6 let’s just do that ah yes don’t worry Ricky you’re good bro okay this is going to kind of suck cuz uh diagonal stairs are a little bit

Gross but I’m going to do it anyway and then I do that and then I can set this up here do I still have my other door yes I do cuz I’m a genius and I knew I knew to have this here I knew um that I was going to need

It yeah totally uh let’s do what what are these evil noises can I do like a half slab of a dark um wood maybe not oh I would need like a dark oak okay well anyway I’m going to try and set this up so that we’ve got a little bit

Of a ways across here and then we have access to the swamp kind of not really it’s not great the big thing is I’m going to have to like wall all of this in cuz otherwise I’m going to get like so attacked uh but let’s get the sugar cane

And see if I can get like some other stuff a little more under control um in terms of our resources oh my God is that a sunken ship and is that like a is that a temple yeah we got a ship over there we got a temple we got

Turtles hey little buddy be free yeah get out of here actually kind of needed his helmet oh well okay we got really really we got lucky with the generation actually let me see if I can set up we could do a boat well I failed that jump we could do

A boat and we could go over there because that might actually be a really good uh set of resources early on oh boy I am oh okay our resources are fine let’s do this and then goodbye dark oak uh boat yes and then wait isn’t this a thing now cool o aha all

Right I hope that no drowned come and kill me come to the think of it I really should have prepared a little bit better for this but just don’t kill me okay please God is that like a no that’s not a sunken Temple or anything oh fish okay that’s a

Good way of getting food actually yeah there’s not that’s not a sunken Temple it’s just like one of those other things I don’t I don’t know what it is do I have my axe still o I mean I kind of do not a very good one though wait is there

Uh how do I how do I actually use the the ship boat thing oh there we go like in my inventory okay let’s put all our valuables in here so that I don’t lose it all right away and some of my torches too um yeah yeah yeah yeah oh the mushrooms

I could plant those so that we could get mushroom soup over and over that’s right H should I go over there I don’t know if I should I don’t know if that’s something that we can handle right now but I’m going to do it [Laughter] anyway cuz I don’t know what it

Is oh kelp that’s like another useful resource and thankfully we’ve got loads of it right yeah thankfully oh I see that drowned guy okay uh this is going to suck yeah there he is oh there’s a lot of them popping up where’s the chest oh God okay maybe I can’t handle this yet

Nope NOP I’m out we’ll explore that when we’re a little bit more geared up cuz otherwise I’m going be here all day there is lots of weird things in my ocean jeez but it sure is an ocean isn’t it kind of sucks but whatever I’m going to

Just deal with what we got you know like never mind um never mind trying to trying to yeah never mind just rerolling the world is what I’m trying to say okay uh uh let me grab all this crap boy I sure do love not being able to just shift click everything at in

Mass uh what I wanted to do is originally I was actually going to bring the sugar canane back to our base but then I realized that that would require a lot of additional effort of me um getting all this sand and bringing it over there and stuff and as I said the

Goal is to be more realistic with my goals so I’m going to kind of just leave that there and that’ll be like our our temporary spot eventually we’ll move it all back to our base and you know eventually we can also automate it all and junk like that but that’s all going

To end up coming later I don’t need to worry about that right now I think the big thing that I should focus on is chopping down a lot of these trees cuz otherwise it’s going to end up just being mob spawn Central or digging digging digging until

We can end up finding a uh a cave cuz that would be very useful as well but I’m going to try and clean this up a little bit in fact this might oh this actually is a cave it’s an underwater cave which sucks yeah that really sucks

Actually cuz that means we’re not going to be able to explore it not efficiently anyways cuz I’m going to have to like really go out of my way to block off all the water and junk which come here you no can I not okay I’m it’s okay I’ve played video games

Before okay and the night’s also coming as as well um let’s let’s chop down some trees quick before all the other mobs start showing up I don’t know when they start showing up but we can Retreat if we need to and I’m going to lose this axe but I’ll swap to my wood

Axe just because I want to get this all set up another thing too that I always thought was kind of cool I don’t know if I’m going to do it necessarily but I I thought it would be kind of neat to like leave the stump of a

Tree uh so that overall like we can see like how much we deforested and stuff like that you know actually you know what yeah I’m going to start doing that from now on because we’re kind of doing the whole like surviving on an island thing obviously when we end up setting

Up like a tree farm and stuff that’s going to end up oh that was an Amber off my torch I scared me I was like wait what was that oh we’re going to end up dealing with Phantoms eventually too cuz I haven’t slept and I’m not going to be

Able to sleep for a while because there’s no sheep on this God forsaken Island okay that’s enough that’s enough isn’t it bricky or Ricky or whatever oh God okay uh let me um where’s my third door here come here you and then you know what I’m just going to do that and then

I’m going to do this cuz I’m lazy and I don’t want to I don’t want to set that up I don’t want to go and close that door I don’t care Rick doesn’t matter okay there’s some Dy what does this turn into oh uh is it a four block that turns

Um yeah you know what I think uh so the episode already is on like half an hour I don’t know if I should end up having these episodes be longer necessarily but I think that’s as good a time as ever to call it for the first
