EPIC Minecraft Showdown: Conquering Skeleton Spawn Trap – BigSky900 – Xbox360

Hey what’s up everybody it’s scott here uh there you go welcome back to a another minecraft episode let me get out of this hole this ladder hole so last episode we worked on real quick we worked we are working on i should say a spawner i did not get that wall pit

Fixed yet okay well okay that’s that i guess so anyways this episode we are going to be mining this inner part here for the uh uh skeletons excuse me i almost had scrawlers for some reason there’s a spider outside so uh yeah so anyways i guess let’s just let’s just get into this

Um so i got this here just for outward looking i guess but this should not take very long as long as i have do i have enough diamond iron picks let’s see if we’re going down 21 times nine yeah we should be fine if if my multiplication is just right this

Shouldn’t be more than one pick maybe two at the most but it all depends so yes now one time actually my other skeleton spawner i don’t even know if you guys have seen that one i forget but the other one um i kind of uh not really failed with it but we kind

Of ran into a couple problems uh one being lava so we had to like box that off and that took a while oh hey look there’s iron oh do i get the iron or not yeah we get the iron we get the iron especially for doing something like this

There we go okay so as we continue our way down now i apologize if it gets a little dark yeah it’s pretty dark i apologize but i can’t really place torches because it’s going to be impossible to get them back so not really impossible but i will place torches when we get to

The bottom gravel at least the gravel’s not on the bottom oh i’m glad it’s here i can barely see right now either i’ve ever placed a torch real quick just that i’ll do it blindly i just hope we don’t fall in any caves because that would be kind of bad so

I’m not sure how far we’ve actually gone down i think we’ve gone down maybe 12. so we got like another nine-ish oh there we go okay we just gotta go down two more it looks like yep okay so we’ll get these last two filled up and again if uh by any chance the

Skeletons like when we test this they spawn or they actually kill themselves we are gonna have ourselves a little bit of a problem but that’s okay we can just like raise the floor or lower the floor depending on that that’s what that’s the good part about being on like level was just like

21 now so anyways we need to go ahead let’s see we need to mine this out a little bit don’t we need to mine a little bit this out we also need to mine this out and now we need we need a half slabs for

This no wait wait a minute wait a minute i actually know we can find this whole thing out and they’re actually going to here and then half slabs go on top of that well you got your you guys get the picture once i finish this i think i did that right

Yeah okay and i know it’s really dark right now guys i apologize for that but i don’t know what it is like on my tv maybe it’s my tv brightness that’s up but i don’t know but just because we don’t want monster spawning down here we’re gonna light this up

That’s good i will have that there and then that will be there sweet okay now we just need to go ahead go grab oh i actually have a bucket of water let’s just use that i’ll go down i actually have a bucket of water i can

Just show you what the bucket of water is for okay the bucket of water is actually ah do i want to show you now sure why not the bucket of water is pretty much just where you can jump all the way down 21 floors and not kill yourself that’s really what it’s for

And you can get down here faster so that’s what that’s for yeah this is a pretty easy spawn trap i mean you could probably make it automated if you want to but now we need to also real quick let’s set up part of our oops

Oh that’s oh it’s not going to be a pain once i actually finish this okay um we need this up here and we’ll leave that like this i guess for now and then we need to go like this and just because i don’t like how that looks we’re gonna fill that up too

And then we need to let’s see that’s what three okay go like that i don’t have like a three gap okay and now we need our and hot fairly sure the skeletons can’t shoot through plant pains if they can we will go grab um some glass

Just glass blocks i don’t think they can okay now we need to go we need to go grab some father i need some water because i’m thirsty we only need two buckets of water so we will go grab that real quick i think i need to make another bucket too

Which won’t take that long so he will go grab come on there we go we’ll go grab that real quick and then i think since we’re over here we’ll just make the half slabs too since we’re going to be making i don’t know how many half slabs we need we only need nine

So um three iron okay so bucket and some half slabs good and we already had half slabs so i guess we need to make those but just in case just just in case so we will go grab our two buckets and we did we took that too fast didn’t we

Shoot we took that too fast little delay we took that too fast or is this haha someone has poisoned the water hole and that’s still not working there we go awesome what is that yeah okay there good phew i thought our i thought our water hole broke for a second

But anyways so as we go back here the next step and the final step is really to place the half slabs and the buckets of water and then clear out all the torches and kind of light up everything under around here but uh after we get that done that’s it’s

Very very easy so he will just um clear out some of these torches hopefully the skeletons won’t spawn oh crap what did i just say run for your lives i don’t even know what happened to that guy um okay let’s just get these booklets of water going

Oh crap we need three buckets of water don’t we yeah oh no no no i just placed thermo oh they’re already spawning no they’re not okay good okay there is the water and we made it one too long um that’s okay you can fix that easy grab our buckets place down this

Would you cut it out you where’d he go okay he already fell down awesome i don’t want to be bothered when i do this okay here we go and that should go right yep okay there we go that is to the edge now before a skeleton starts spawning we gotta fix this wall

So we will grab some more cobble and i’m really hoping we don’t fall down into the skeleton hole as they haven’t spawned yet but knock that off knock that oh crap don’t don’t don’t don’t do it don’t do it no don’t you fall down okay we’re good boxes up hurry

Where’s our where is where is that there we go oh crap oh crap there we go okay we’re good okay that’s almost too scary i know they shouldn’t even they shouldn’t spawn anywhere else except for their inside there if they do we gotta we’ll have to adjust this i guess

But stupid flipping spider shine a hole uh is this gonna bother they’re spawning it’s shut yay it doesn’t okay now we gotta go now we gotta go we gotta go we’re gonna see if this is working because they die right away we’re gonna it’s gonna be a little bit of a problem

Oh and they’re still here now they’re gonna take one hit no they’re two hits any farther i believe and they just kill themselves so and just so they don’t shoot us you put the stone slabs here and then they can’t actually kill you so yeah awesome all that’s left now

Is to pretty much get a couple chests down here one for uh bones and uh arrows and um let’s see what else do we need um i guess one for bows bows bones and arrows yeah that’s all we need so and now all you have to do is if you

Guys want to make one of these yourself or for yourselves all you need to do now is stand right up here and that is way too bright for them i think let’s wait a little bit and see if this works you might have to move those torches on the outside nope nope

Still spawn sweet there we go so all you have to do is just sit here and wait until they spawn they’ll fall down and then they’ll take two hits with anything to um to kill or i guess two hits with your hands which is really easy so you don’t have to waste

Any tools or anything like that so i don’t know this turned out really well so i guess as they start to spawn more i’m actually going to move this torch because i think if it goes in the middle it’ll be much better lighting in here yeah that’s much better or actually we

Could just we’ll go one more we’ll go we’ll go uh right there that’s one more over there we go and then of course we will fill do i need this for anything like can we use this real quick like could i like use this for storage of any kind i don’t know

Could i for anything like put like a door here or something i don’t know how that’s it uh you know what i don’t think i could if i can i won’t mind it out but i don’t think i can and they’re actually spawning right here i don’t

Know if you guys can hear them or not but they are spawning as i’m just sitting out here so that’s that’s nice so let’s go check on this there’s another spider over there but we don’t need to worry about them for now yo what up come over here and fall down the hole

And we will go kill you in a little bit so yeah let’s go let’s go check out how many spawn down here now they kind of want to shoot you but they shouldn’t be able to unless you’re like in their way but a couple hits uh that’s more than a couple it looks

Like one two three four okay so it’s four hits we actually could go down a little further uh do i want to go down further is the question um and to that actually i say yes because it’s not going to be that hard or will it trying to think real quick

What actually could do actually no i won’t because i can do it right now and there they shouldn’t spawn so i think i can i think i can do that actually because pretty much um yeah i think i can like i said it’s not gonna be the heart it’s no uh

I got stairs so yeah i think i could go down like one more maybe um so pretty much we’re gonna dig up this oh go back down please thank you i’m gonna play stairs here um that’s gonna stay there actually no wait we need stairs right here yeah and then we need stairs

Don’t even need stairs here okay let me just need to come down a couple line this out real quick just so it’s easier to kill the skeletons because i mean i’d rather two one two hit them than four um that way it doesn’t take up as much time

So that’s that we cut out this is that a cave oh good if it was i wouldn’t have explored it okay we’ll put this back put that back and we’ll dig that back up now do i want to go i think i just want to go down one more

I think that’ll be enough oh that’s going to be a little bit of a problem won’t it maybe not that should be fine where it is i would assume so at least let’s just fill that i guess yeah that’ll be fine okay let’s go let’s go test it again um

Yeah pretty much it’s just kind of figuring out where you want the i guess how far you want them to drop down i think 21 is fine we just can’t wait for a few more to spawn here um i think this will work i think it’ll work fine

I hope it doesn’t just kill them they shun because we added the slabs okay you’re gonna drop how we almost beat him down here and he’s okay he’s still here and it’s gonna take there we go that should take two every time every time my skeleton falls and drops it should just take

Two two hits with a watermelon to kill them so yeah that’ll be that’ll be nice that’d be very nice oh oh i thought another one spawn tricked me so anyways um other things that i actually want to do that this doesn’t actually look that bad because i can actually put like um

Oh maybe this is where i want my farm to be because i want to farm down here and i want to figure out what to put here i don’t want to know what i want to figure out what to put here now i don’t know okay as that dude

Is like going to you piggies i think he fell down let’s go check let’s go check if it’s still two if it’s still two we’re done we don’t need to worry about it hello one two sweetness that’s awesome so there we go that is a pretty much a skeleton

Skeleton skeletal one that’s pretty much a skeleton uh spawner and uh i hope they’re not spawning underneath like underneath here they shun yeah they shun i can hear them spawning though i can hear something i can hear skeletons right rattling jump okay there’s that so that doesn’t look too bad

I like how that looks we’re actually going to touch this up a little bit i think unless this is three one two three i think it’ll look better if it’s like this yes that definitely looks better it looks a little weird but i like it i like it so that anyways

Let’s see if we can add a little bit more detail to the ends nope not what i wanted i see this actually looks nice if it does i’ll keep it if not i’ll get rid of it kind of like that i’m gonna leave it and we have two left so

Oh i thought i had two left and i have three left let’s put this around the whole thing i think it’ll look kind of cool not the whole thing at least the front at least the front part i think i look kind of i don’t know i kind of like it

Kind of gives it that i don’t know i like it i like the way i like the way it looks that’s nice i like that okay so anyways and then actually just because i don’t like how the lighting works in there and they’re still spawning which is awesome it’s like being here like

Farming and then after i’m done farming i can be like i feel like i want to kill some skeletons so i’m just going to hop down my little water shoot and go kill some skeletons it’s gonna be nice and these guys yeah i don’t know where’s that light coming from is it just

I don’t know and okay we got ooh we got a nice little oh and they’re actually some of them actually do end up just kind of dying which is fine as long as i can get some xp when i need to it’s all good that’s a glitched out arrow

Can we fix that just by digging this up no it’ll just go it’ll go away in time but yeah that is that and now we need um we need some chest we need to get some wood um that’s another thing i actually want down here later on but i’m not going to

Bother with the chest i’ll do that later but other plans for this is this wall i think this actually faces where i want it to be not quite i was hoping it’d be over this way i don’t know maybe i went up that way too i don’t know anyways my plans are to

Have either one um a doorway to a mine or mines maybe i don’t know maybe have like a mine like right underneath and there’s like three ways down into it i don’t know but um it’s either going to be on that wall or that wall or that wall but actually

I’ve already mined over on that way yeah i’ve already mined over that way so i don’t know i probably still could mine over that way and find more diamonds but i’d rather explore new cave or not new caves but like new i don’t know stuff that hasn’t been dug up yet so

I don’t know i’m debating more on this sign um and then a quick little plan so i’m going to have two cages there for animals and then not cages pens two pens there for animals two pens over there and then have like a decent sized wall

To actually go into the mine and then um let’s see other ways i think back here um somewhere in here some some place is going to be a small tree farm for just like smaller trees kind of for birch trees i should say it’s just going to be birch

Because that’s like the easiest thing that i find to actually like cut down because they only go to like five to six blocks for wood or sometimes seven i believe but most of the time they’re like five and six so we’ll do that and then yeah that’ll

Be that and then i think i’ll have like a farm probably over there and i’ll probably have a tree farm somewhere i don’t know uh but yeah that’s that and then i still have to find a material to replace the floor with so right now i haven’t decided on

Anything yet i mean this is 2500 blocks i believe i think i think that’s 2500 because it’s 50 by 50. yeah 2500 so i’m not sure i’m not not too sure what i want to replace the floor with but right now it’s just kind of bare materials so yeah

Anyways uh that is going to be it for this episode we got the skeleton spawner all done or a skeleton’s spawn trapper we didn’t build a spawner we put the spawn trap type of thing so that’s nice that’s that’s a good and it looks it looks nice like like i said i was

Debating whether it would look good or not and uh looks okay i like it i like it it’s just kind of like a big building and if you walk into it skeletons spawn in front of you so that’s nice so yeah anyways thank you guys so much
