EPIC Modded Minecraft Challenge Stream! No Cheating

Okay now I just finished a playthrough of otmm combo Rando um and I want to take a break from that with some Minecraft so here is what I’ve been doing in Minecraft I basically been sitting around collecting resources whatever and um yeah it’s been very chill very

Subdued I think we can have game sounds on because there is no music to VOD mute Usually so we can have our nice things again all right so I hit upon some research about where to find the suspicious clay in the ancient city and I wanted to go ahead and do that once I make sure my current stream info is accurate

Um if I can figure that out it would be fantastic uh I don’t really know how to change my fraking stream info okay edit stream info okay let’s uh go ahead and grab it from some place that’s halfway decent for these kinds of things like my YouTube okay done I

Think change what game I am playing Minecraft and get rid of all these tags put new ones in their places because details are important to me uh there was one other but whatever it’s fine all right stream info is updated apparently okay cool that worked pretty nice

Um okay first things first a bio break and starting my break timer back up from the end of the previous game with a long break and see you in five minutes or so okay so anyway we have the game we have the base you all know and love for the most

Part that is if you actually cared uh I’ve been doing some skullking but that’s fine um yeah I’ve been trying to find the suspicious clay so I can brush it and get the Alm modium smithing upgrade and I wasn’t that successful the last time I tried it so I went on the

Internet trying to find some solutions to this dilemma and what I found is the block that supposedly gets replaced by our specific little item that we’re looking for so according to Reddit take with that what you will um we have a rare chance that one block in the entire complex of the ancient

City can be a piece of suspicious clay but not only that it replaces if I can pull it up here um so let’s see I can well I don’t know where I actually found the actual suspicious Clays and Trail ruins on the um well okay suffice it to say most of the

Posts are uh from longer ago than my current version of of the pack so not all of them are relevant but I think it was a polished BT that got replaced with suspicious clay in one of the posts that I found so we might be looking for for

That ancient cities where wens spawn there’s really rare suspicious clay that you use the brushed yeah then from there you templates blah blah blah you are looking for polished balt rather I think sus clay always replaces those blocks hardly anything definitive but it’s as close as I’ve been to figuring out this

Puzzle I also had the idea to use a quarry of course um so I checked and my nether Quarry is completely done and we should be able to move it wherever we want it to be and that place right now should work well in the Overworld at the ancient city

And I guess we’ll see what we get but specific blocks are kind of hard to weed out with an RF tools Builder but we’ll see what we can do by the way this didn’t give me too much in the way of new stuff this uh lower level to the nether Quarry

But yeah it exposed some of the M shafts beneath it all so I give it that so what we want to do let’s take that with us and um also we can get rid of this look at the quests here okay whatever so I updated the pack couple days ago [Applause]

It I added some new quests not that um not that I need the quests Too Much Anymore yeah let’s check on the pig L Farm see what we have anything not looking too bad huh Pig glitch Hearts I could make pig pig lit charms and not have to worry about their

Kind in my vicinity make a couple for my belt cuz I don’t want those to pay attention to me really cuz they’re part of the farm now so anyway the sniffer that I uh bred and captured it doesn’t seem useful at all all it’s going to do is look for

Torch Berry seeds or torch flower seeds rather and that is not the intended purpose of it so I’m just going to go back over here and put them in the pen with the others and uh keep that mob restraining tool for other purposes um okay so ancient city here okay

So what I think I need to do is make an RF tools filter and add clay to it blocks of clay Sh uh now I don’t exactly know what kind of clay but I do know that there is a type of B called the sussy be that can convert various blocks into suspicious blocks that are able to be brushed for archaeology sake so it could Be part of the could be A flower uh the the flowering tag as well but I don’t know and um I don’t even know if this thing has tags and I don’t know how to find out okay I’m going to get into some files here let’s see Here would it be under ji client or mod ID format uh tag let’s try That sorting or order for the ingredient list uh search mode for tag names requires prefix yeah I don’t really know if it’s ji or if it would be the what am I looking at alternative thing that the pack has no I’m not making any changes it’s purely for research Here see oh my God almost unified I don’t know probably not what is bhc I’ll get it Crystal lib I don’t know de what is De storage generator Galore for going inventory profiles next ji Jade is Jade head blocks hi entities swort order uh no I don’t think it’s Jade just zoom really

Whatever concrete with KS Lost Cities mechanism mechanical or mystical customization no chat reports dematic craft potion blender Preen I added that repurpose structures spark what is spark to Towers utility X I don’t know ather AI improvements AI all the tweaks okay how about this tool tip Emi or ji

Client mod ID format hold on mod name Tool tip value is a chat formatting string uh my name format blent for sorting search read list bookmark list I don’t know tags how about that cucumber tags titanium tags and then ji client I uh still don’t know

I might have to start a test world to figure this out like what tags these are part of maybe okay how about that just to start a creative world and spawn a couple things in try to mash them together see if tags emerge I don’t know I count this as as important

Enough well anyway I’m making salmon for dinner and I decided to have dessert first so I got like a ice cream bar from the freezer but stuff um planning to do steamed veggies with him with the with the salmon I put uh two salmon fets in the oven usually works pretty well uh

Creative peaceful and just go should have done super flat but okay so this is just for me to mess around with a little something oh [ __ ] oh that hurt I’m taking my meds I think I had an air bubble I should be okay though okay made the advancement Christmas have I have I

Really seems like I should have had that earlier anyway so um just uh get one of These get some suspicious clay and no it doesn’t have tags cuz I’m shift clicking and it’s not adding tags unfortunate I could also do uh backpack with a filter module I tag please no doesn’t have tags that is unfortunate okay delete that we don’t need it so I think I might do is

It’s just an interesting conundrum so oh salmon should be ready uh I’m probably just going to add normal clay of various kinds um maybe storage blocks or productive bleep bees flowers Also one Colony Stone well okay actually this won’t work at all because suspicious Clay is its own block and if I eliminate similar blocks it might not catch it so what what I want to do instead is probably add individual blocks to the filter and just mine those like a digital Miner would

Do so it should only those types of blocks and uh what was that block it was uh something B salt right we got chisel deep slate slate tiles tile walls Cobble deep slate it was uh I don’t know gray wool should be in there stairs should be in there of all

Types cuz we’re not looking for stairs we’re also looking for a regular deep slate anyway I need to get the veggies ready so uh I will see you in a bit uh and set this to break time okay deliciousness has arrived also if you’re new to the stream

Or new to this style of VOD I uh I now pause recording during my breaks so you don’t have to wait through that kind of crap anymore but you lose out on some music so a bit of a trade-off anyway I’ve got veggies I have salmon and what was I saying

Before oh right I was uh I was in the process just in general a process of uh adding things to this filter for inclusion in our Quarry uh so yeah just uh mashing the filter into things adds them to the Filter for we are modernizing this place oh there it’s right freaking here are you freaking kidding me oh my God I feel like an idiot just look the [ __ ] around forehead oh it’s right here I uh yeah I’m I’m just shaking my head the [ __ ] man why do you have to steal my Thunder okay we still don’t have the a vibranium upgrade so we can go ahead and grab those from the nether where we just were and had the Quarry set up so yeah this is what I was talking about the Polish BT block just look for structures that have those usually and you’ll find

Your template usually it’s where I found it in my off stream playthrough of the same pack so yeah apparently you don’t need to Quarry anything and that’s counterintuitive all right apparently I’m just too dense to figure [ __ ] out when I see it and I think to myself let’s go

Big let’s do all the things here anyway not important anymore there’s that same block yeah I mean Jesus took me an hour yesterday well the day before actually okay well good Stuff oh boy I’m just I’m just playing around now I’m just making stuff to make stuff now for okay so uh just remove the Tire filter all right next order of business is uh something I want this and this take me to another Quarry thought I needed sniffers turns out I didn’t need

[ __ ] [Applause] Bastion Remnant repurpose structur is Bastion underground I should check that out sounds like a good time Ah here we are best remnant Let’s see we can find any Soul Sand here’s some Soul Sand not much going on with it though Yeah yeah yeah Yeah Spish spish Bish B spish Suspish don’t know what the suspicious ones look like cuz I haven’t looked for them Before these are just so soil not what we’re looking for for I might have to revisit a previous structure cuz these do not seem like the type of structure I need hell near Bastion that is not a real Bastion Okay could have some Soul Sand in here cuz this looks like the Bastion I remember or one of them for yeah I don’t know where the Soul Sand could appear in any of these I don’t even know if this is the right Structure okay find that nether fortress here pretty sure I was able to find one right over in a direction from this nether fortress like within spitting distance of this Nether Fortress So now where am I in this picture I have no freaking clue okay so it’s South Carter is in Between right then I saw this ancient city ancient city look alike He Not much of a fan of this song because it has the baby crying in it God damn it baby Mario stop making that noise For pretty much immune to Lava now so so whatever problem or a complete non problem okay and if it’s anything like the ancient city should be replacing polished B salt if it’s not like it then it’s replacing something else and I have no idea what that could be did that break

It did I break something is that part of the music may have broken something could be a lantern I broke they are known to break ooh this is different there it is i’ got two of them oh three of them [ __ ] well found three and broke one cuz I didn’t

Know this kind of Soul Sand had physics oh well we found it so uh yeah good enough for me I’m becoming a expert at this Niche information ahead of basically deleting this world and making a new one isn’t necessarily a waste because I basically carry that knowledge over to the next play

Through or it will come in even more handy To sh I have one of those for ignore me I’m just eating dinner For h is so I wanted to at least stream eight hours tonight but we’re at hour five and I’m pretty much out of things I was looking to do uh lose end just tie up in Minecraft I could come up with something on the Fly wouldn’t be the worst

Idea so I’ll keep trying at that nitrium sh at this point this playthrough is mostly practice and um discovery of Mechanics for the next playthrough so the goal the ultimate goal of the next playthrough is the ATM Star not just acquiring it but using it now there are some things I want to

Discover on the next playthrough oh my God that is a lot um there’s going to be a grind and a half but I have faith that I can do it now this this world that I’ve been working on for hundreds of hours or I think it’s nearly uh 150 140 hours now

It’s basically a testing ground for what are my sticking points when not cheating also it’s basically me playing the game while waiting for additional updates like thermal expansion among other things I might Continue to update my version of the pack throughout the next playthrough but I’m not going to be as liberal with

It because something could break it if I’m not too careful and if the pack developers decide that they don’t want a certain mod in the pack at all well I some important in the future then I’m kind of screwed if I end up using that specifically as a key piece of my automation

Architecture so um Yeah and that could happen at any minute um it’s not necessarily scary it’s just annoying to have that happen now the next playthrough is not going to be all automation automation automation I do plan to go to Every dimension in the current mod pack or not necessarily the current mod pack the the

Mod pack of the time and I just want you to see how many of those there are so you have the Overworld the nether the end then you have Earth orbit you have glacio you have all of adastra my friend and I want to set foot on every single one of these

Dimensions spatial storage Dimension Maybe Maybe but I am going to be using A2 for the next playthrough because um a using things outside of my comfort zone and B it’s a bit more efficient with system Resources Basically this next playthrough is me doing all the new things that I seldom do in my other playthroughs H other side huh there’s some some mods as part of these Dimensions that I have never heard of void Scapes I’ve been to Once which is pretty cool um I intend to research basically every mod from this pack if I need to instead of just sticking to tried and true

Stuff um and that is going to be one of the challenges or several of the challenges like try using a certain thing for a stream try using three different things together for a stream or something like that and um I’m thinking maybe I can make multiple stages in each major

Arcana to do an escalating variety of different things how long have you been there oh yeah it’s going to be a major exploration Play Through whereas uh this one was just testing the waters for um my receptiveness to challenge sort of gameplay if that makes sense so uh

Yeah also I’m going to take another break here uh just five minutes be right back okay so in a manner of speaking I am still testing the waters for how Minecraft content like this will do I’m hoping I’m hoping it may catch on but I don’t know but this tarot themed challenge

Idea is something I came up with basically spur of the moment out of the initial idea of my playthrough my uh my current playthrough of uh trying to play the game with no cheats that varied up my game play significantly on its own so let me just open up my uh

My full uh face cam scene more or less so I have a Tarot of the day on my basically my face cam scene that shows you picture of a tarot card that I drew earlier before the stream started and its meaning as well as its name now I’m

Thinking or I started thinking that maybe I could also add a third of this type of panel now the whole Challenge and Punishment idea I don’t know about the punishment idea but the the challenge idea seems like something up my alley just a bit so so this is the

Fool which is the first of the major Arcana and his challenge which will be the first one I ever do for the next playthrough is to just go do dungeon enter with nothing shiny on me which means uh no pieces of no iron no no gold no diamond no

Enchantments and then leave fully equipped in shiny things which could be Iron gold diamond Enchanted whatever now about the only place that can really do this for me is one of those roguelike dungeons that I have showcased in the playthrough before so I figured a challenge is not without a risk of failure

So I thought of the idea of a punishment for if I can’t finish a challenge within two hours of the challenge officially starting and this initial punishment seems quite harsh but start the world over with a new seed and turn off keep your keep inventory on death from now

On yeah I had initially thought that maybe keep inventory t on death should be on but I’m thinking now that I should just keep it off by default now that will actually place a gravestone where I died so I can go back and collect things without them despawning or being destroyed by a

Creeper but I digress I have yet to explore that aspect of some of these mods like how it deals with death so I need to have that off in order to explore most of Those so that is the initial challenge I have in mind for myself on the next playthrough although the punishment I’m not too sure these are things to think about and plan over the next few days leading up to the current playthroughs finale so I’ll be doing that and

Um if you have any ideas feel free to join me live or make comments in my videos so this set of tarot theme challenges will culminate in the world uh Arcana 21 and in there it’s completion among other things but I felt like there were twoo little or not enough different challenges not varied enough and uh mashing them all into only 22 total challenges because the fool is number zero so you go up to 21 that makes 22 different challenges

It just seemed a little shallow so um I might go back and rethink some of these in stages like the initial stage for fool could be uh I don’t know like uh stay outside at night or something something like that or Uh I don’t I don’t really know at this at this point but the fool its theme is basically just spur of the moment thing spontaneity not giving a [ __ ] about the danger of anything being Reckless taking mistakes as they come and um I don’t know what other two go other

Two goals there could be but I’ll uh keep thinking on it as the first of the New Year comes around I’m sure I could figure it out in an afternoon pretty easily and uh hell I could probably even try to plan these out on stream so uh all of you could actually

Respond to me in real time when I’m suggesting ideas is um yeah let me know if that’s a decent idea because I’ll probably be sitting around in Minecraft all day tomorrow at certain hours um I might stream half of that because I got to wait for my brother to

Get off work or actually no tomorrow is Friday so actually he is on his weekend right now so I could actually stream all day but after a while I probably get tired so you know it is what it is we humans are mushy um so yeah also um on a side

Note I have been eyeing the space requirements of my current VOD production method rarely because previously I would generate like huge freaking videos and I just want to make sure I’m not running out of space for these vods so I’ll keep an eye on those I’m still not done with

Dinner it’s too good I have to savor it but then I think of snacks in between and it’s it’s kind of driving feeling behind my weight behind my weight gain but I digress now I could also do challenges based on the minor Arcana but that would be too much

And figuring out what challenges to do with the minor Arcana seems like just splitting hairs the major Arcana are what people most associate with terot um so people won’t even know what a freaking page wands is when they watch me even though I have the freaking Terror of the day up right

Now so I’ll just leave that as it is as a sort of primer in the meantime staging my or laying out my um future challenges in stages strikes me as a more varied idea than adding the minor Arcana just because the minor AR are um not very descriptive of themselves in the

Imagery while aside from uh Paige to King so paage Knight queen and king of their suits those guys are pretty all right for the imagery but you see all the major Arcana in games like Persona and that seems to me like a very good Hallmark of recognizability and pop culture Etc

So I kind of want to explore those aspects and how they could apply to a video game playthrough other than Persona how I can make it fun and challenging to play the game in a new way based on these themes I know it’s a lot of long- winded [ __ ]

But I I I feel like I need to do something fun for me and this is it now I don’t plan for Minecraft to be the only game I play for as long as this this tarot challenge happens I plan to pick up new randomizers or ones I’ve heard about but never

Touched for games I’ve only played casually I might even pick up World of Warcraft again who knows I don’t really know for what purpose but maybe the second the second uh level band for season of Discovery turns out really really good and i’ want to check it out so I’ll

Probably check that on on stream if it seems good enough for me although right now I don’t have a World of Warcraft subscription just doesn’t appeal to me much anymore I mean I tried hitting official hardcore very hard but I couldn’t get very far as an alcoholic so kind of petered out and

Um my brother going through basically the same challenge in uh World of Warcraft hardcore although with a paladin showed me something that I should be considering focusing on one thing at a time one character One Challenge one whatever just keeping it simple off the bat too cuz he got further in hardcore than

I ever did and I figure that I owe it to myself to remain focused but also progress in that Focus my focus now is on Minecraft and I might as well go to Max with it but the ATM Star in this mod pack is quite the Hefty challenge to get to and uh

Just set up and maintain and all that for this one goal of getting one of the more overpowered items in the pack so I figured break it into parts then if it’s so intimidate hold on sorry about that had to cough um so yeah let me know what you think and

Uh tell me if you think it’s worth a watch um I I think that might be it for the stream but uh yeah tomorrow I think I will go ahead and start up Minecraft either streaming it or recording it streaming it or just recording it more importantly and um showcasing or

Discussing various topics related to my future playthrough um I plan to keep doing the teror of the day because I think my whatever is behind my deck and its Randomness seems to like uh being consulted daily which fine I’m not a very superstitious person but the symbolism of the

Cards is just interesting to me so I might as well explore it see where it leads me Um yeah so not much going on tomorrow I might uh play actually play Minecraft for a little bit to explore things I haven’t um but as I said before uh so I skipped that one because uh I’m not a big fan of songs with dialogue in them anyway so tomorrow some Minecraft lots

Of discussion about a future playthrough for Minecraft and um how I’m going to frame my future challenge challenges for Minecraft and um yeah the first one the first challenge is going to to belong to the fool and I’m going to set up signs in the game that basically break down the

Goals of each challenge um so uh I can look at that and be reminded hey I got to do this next and uh that should also include mod progression Milestones like uh getting your first furnace or something or automated furnace something like that and those are some of the little

Things I should think about on the Fly so that’ll will be for when the playthrough actually starts also the uh the quest book is going to be pretty much one of the goals in itself because I plan to complete the entire thing by the end of the playr um take take from that what you will

It’s uh it’s kind of a mammoth task at this point Um and truth be told it might I might be biting off more than I can chew with that that’s one of the things that I should play by ear as I’m experiencing the the challenge of the playthrough and I’m basically going to be taking every major Arcana one step at a

Time if at all possible uh whether they be in stages of themselves or whether they are one Challenge and done with that Arcana it depends on uh what I think is right for my planning St stages my uh my planning sheet as it were but yeah new playthrough coming soon uh

Tarot theme challenges check it out okay I think that’s the stream uh stream tomorrow probably just chilling out talking about stuff mostly while I have Minecraft doing things in the background or while I have automation ideas in my current Minecraft World with less cheating also no cheating for the new

Playthrough obviously because that would undermine all the challenges I have if I were to to allow cheating so no cheating um also due to the immense amount of Health Allowed by various other mods in the pack modifying spice of life doesn’t seem all that important to me

Anymore so I’m I might just leave it at default so absolutely no cheats next time probably uh because I don’t plan to preen my world either because that just creates so much bloat because I don’t know how to use the the mod too well um in order to determine what is

Most efficient and what isn’t also the twitch integration mod is not working and I’ll probably be able to figure that out around early to mid January like after after the twitch Review Board gets back from freaking vacations and all that and allow me to actually make my application entry in their

System that’s the major thing holding that back is the approvals process so I have to figure that out later probably after this particular tarot challenge begins um now I am going to be starting up classes again uh after well on and after January 3rd that basically means there will be

Some days that I will not be able to stream it is just a fact of the life I’m signing up for and uh I I don’t know how I feel about it I mean I like streaming even though I do it to not a whole lot of viewers

I still like it I like learn learning new and more nerdy things like how to manage broadcasting and also video formats and video lengths files in general what have you I like it and uh I like that I’m speaking more I guess expressing myself more it’s it’s been a trying few years

Um and uh but I think I might be getting into something that I could do longterm I just need to get paid doing it in order to keep doing it which isn’t really an option right now so I am going to have to get a full-time job uh sometime in January if

Possible so that’s another thing down the that’ll keep me away from streaming but that’s life I got to get paid I got to pay bills can’t keep supporting myself or my family off of Just savings not not indefinitely so yeah uh classes start back up in January January 3rd specifically with a

Seminar we’ll see how study intensive that class will be I’m hoping it isn’t that horrible but it could very well be another Statistics situation where I can only really afford to stream what three four days a week which wouldn’t be the worst what would be worse is only being

Able to stream one day a week um which I will attempt to prevent that eventually uality but like I said I need a full-time job that actually pays decent so I need to be able to work that mainly and if I’m trying to stream and trying to work and trying to do school

All at once that’s too much so I’ll keep working on it I probably plan to stream all of the gameplay I managed to achieve on a weekly basis um given that other things on my docket are handled IRL so yeah check me out uh if you’re watching the VOD right now

Problem because I I don’t feel like my content can be safe at least not all of the time but twitch is pretty much the platform for video game streaming and I feel like I have no choice but to use it I mean I could try streaming to YouTube but

I don’t know if that is a successful route for growing whatever kind of career I’m trying to cultivate right now um and that’s kind of what this is it’s me trying to make more out of my gaming habit than just self-fulfillment I’m hoping that I can entertain with it

Um alth that’s kind that’s kind of been me trying to figure out how much is enough uh commentary on what I’m seeing and doing or too much and um it’s kind of hard to gauge that when you have so few viewers but uh I’ve heard positive

Things from what viewers I do have so yeah yeah I will keep doing it for as long as I can it will just take some time to turn back around and um on a weekly basis I can at least do one stream a week I guarantee that because I do need day or

Two out of whatever busy schedule I have to just chill out that’s kind of what this is my chill out time so if you like that if you like streams that are like that then uh go ahead and see when I am available and give me a follow

For notifications saying I’m live when I’m live I also have a stream schedule that I don’t know if you guys can see it or if you want to see it but normally I have hours from 4 onward through the night open until further notice um on gym days I tend to delay

That by a couple hours so 6 o’clock my time and uh on heavy study days where I might have a seminar or some other kind of study activity that’ll be delayed by 4 hours so starting at 8:00 at night my time and I basically go until I get tired and can go to

Sleep um does that make me an insomniac maybe because I I pound IC tea like basically the whole time and it’s caffeinated so what are you going to do I like tea it’s only slightly caffeinated but I mean it’s enough it’s enough it’s always enough doesn’t matter if it’s a little

Caffeine or a lot it’s enough and um don’t forget that when you’re trying to avoid becoming a basement Goblin like me any amount of caffeine can stimulate your brain enough to stay awake okay well I hope you like it I hope you like the next playthrough And don’t forget to check me out on Twitch I always want to know what people are looking for in a streamer or a streamer’s game play and um back seating is fine I will take any advice under advisement and um yeah just don’t don’t repeat your freaking your freaking messages because
