EPIC Secret Room + NEW Music Disc in Minecraft!

It’s wednesday my dudes you know what that means we got a new minecraft snapshot this one features four new music tracks you hear that sound yeah that’s not one of the new tracks but they can be heard on the main menu and they can also be heard in various

It’s new to me and maybe it’ll be new to some of you i’m talking about the secret room in the ancient city if you come over to the portal area there’s actually something underneath you’re going to want to look for this little awning area with some stairs i’m going to light this

Up so it’s easier to see now this is actually a door of course you can mine your way through if you’re impatient the redstone gods are only going to frown upon you but there’s actually a legitimate way to open this without breaking any blocks and it uses skulk

Sensors so one way to do that which may or may not work is sometimes you can come right up to here and you can eat and sometimes the skulk sensor that’s in charge of opening and closing this door will detect it in this case that didn’t

Work it’s kind of hit or miss on the other hand though what we can do is we can just head right back up here and we can get a little bit closer to that skulk sensor if we just come right over to here this block is directly above the skulk

Sensor that controls the door mechanism this layout can change a bit depending upon how the ancient city generated so you’ll just have to kind of be on the lookout for this general vicinity but if we make noise here you hear the pistons activate that just

Open the door now we don’t want to make any more noise after that because it is a toggle mechanism now we should be far enough away and if we come back down here the door is open pretty cool right and then inside this area it’s like a whole redstone mechanism museum

Sort of thing and it’s got carpet blocks all over the floor so you don’t have to worry about activating any skull sensors when you’re wandering around you can also deactivate the mechanism this is the skulk right here that controls the whole thing so when we were up there and

I jumped that was directly above that block i was looking at this thing at first because i used spectator mode to get in initially i was like this whole this whole mechanism down here is real complicated just to push and pull some pistons but i guess

It’s all for the sake of being usable with the the skulk to toggle it so it’s pretty cool redstone mechanism there’s also a little thing down here that you know shows you oh this is a bullseye block did you know that if you hit the bullseye block it’ll send a redstone

Signal to the block above it and then you can push a piston with a redstone block into a into a lamp turn it on you can also if you grab a book and quill you can put it on the lectern that’s up against a comparator and you can turn on

The other lamp wow we pretty nifty and then there’s also this area over here just showing you hey glass doesn’t actually transmit a redstone signal in case you weren’t aware and then just because i want to show it in action if i eat right here then it’ll shut the door behind us

Pretty cool or you know we could break the glass and then like jump or something like that you have options just make noise anyway this is the secret room many of you may already be aware of it but i thought i’d show it because i hadn’t

Seen it before okay now on to new things and by the way just listen to these jams going on in the background so there’s a new music disc but the way that you get it is unlike any other music disc before it i’m sure you’ve guessed by now it has

To do with the ancient cities and you’d be right so there are music disc fragments that you can find in chess loot around here and you collect nine of them and you can make the new music disc now let’s say you want to do that but also the warden really intimidates you

Or you don’t want to wait until you have a full set of prop for another right well now don’t worry you can wimp out with game rule do warden spawning false now you don’t have to worry about those pesky wardens spawning when you go over here and you just

Jump around in the ancient city trigger all the shriekers no wardens are going to spawn you’re going to be fine and not have to encounter the really cool new mob and features and all that stuff that go with it why would you want that so hey oh let’s go loot some chess

Wow let’s check this one out right here that’s really cool it just so happens to have three music disc fragments in it this one actually did spawn with three music disc fragments seems like you can get a few of them in a chest this is what they look like they’ve got

Well it’s it’s a fragment i’m yeah cool so let’s grab these and let’s continue to loot oh hey there’s another chest right around here wow this one just has another six sitting right smack in the middle what are the odds of that zero percent they’re zero this wouldn’t

Happen but anyway now that we have nine we can craft them together and we get the new music disc i really like the color scheme of all of this ancient city warden related stuff with the black and the light blue probably because it reminds me of like

Inverted george gt color scheme but it’s still really cool i haven’t listened to this yet i want to listen to it for the first time while we’re talking about some new stuff with the alley so this is five by samuel oh god what does the thing over the a do ayberg aberg ahberg

Aberg by samuel oh it’s another creepy one oh god oh no not like this hey guys let’s talk about the la it’s it’s really cute we love the alley let’s let’s spawn one there have been some really really minor changes with it in on top of one that’s

Slightly more major which is their health has been doubled from 10 to 20. now they have the same health as a player that’s really good for accidentally falling into lava and also when this is on top of the region that they they already have so that’s just so

Cool hey so when they’re seeking items now they are actually they’re a lot faster they go zoom they zoom really quick see how quickly the alley zooms to me oh it’s so much more pleasant all of a sudden i’m not nervous anymore and also same with the with the

Note block so if we activate the note block he will zoom over there come on near look at him go turbo speed okay got creepy again the pickup cooldown time has also been reduced from five seconds to three seconds so when they just drop blocks at an unattended note block um they will

Go to pick them up quicker after leaving them on the ground go go fetch them also their seek out range has been expanded now it’s about 30 blocks that they’ll go and and look for things laying on the ground so that’s pretty cool Oh my goodness these sounds dude i mean it really it it’s uh it fits the ancient city that it does alright so that’s it for the changes with the alley also did you know that now you can move frog lights with a piston i bet you didn’t know that you couldn’t
