Halloween my lovely little friends I am spooky sock and today we are going to do spooky stuff last episode we have built this very very nice and cozy little Barn for our sniffer baby and the cows we have some more babies as you can see in

The back and I also uh sniffer proofed and cow proofed the area because I had a little problem with some uh escapes and speaking of escapes I don’t know what happened to the llamas because I put them in there and I don’t think they could have escaped from there but they

Somehow managed to vanish so um that’s a little sad but that’s okay because our sniffer baby is still in there and the cows are also still in their place which brings me to our plans for today I I think we should stay on theme of the spooky season and do some scary things

At least scary things for me because I am already a little afraid about what we are going to do because we are going to visit a very very scary place but before I get too ahead of myself I think um we should just jump into the episode so get ready for spooky stuff There you go yeah and for you as well that’s nice I am procrastinating so if we take a look at our Tor Vision gate uh we have the spooky zone right underneath our nether sign so um that’s our goal for today but these two signs are still hanging there

From I Believe episode two but they are actually quite relevant for today because we are somewhat geared up but I am not sure if iron armor is going to cut it for where we want to go and we are also Still rocking our stone tools

But we have to build a portal and for that we definitely need a diamond pickaxe so I’d say we go down into the mines and mine at least the diamonds we’ve already found and who knows maybe we can find some more of those let me just quickly make some iron

Pickaxes and yes our friend is still in the boat but I kind of like him I’ve grown accustomed to him and we might be some very good roommates at some point at least once he ran out of arrows but yeah we can let him stay for

A little longer because I think if you look closely at him he is going to shoot at you and he looks very spooky so for today you can stay yeah stop shooting at me I’m going to die oh yeah and also we haven’t died yet it’s episode 5 and I

Haven’t died one single time and I am so proud of that I can’t believe it honestly I really can’t believe it that’s very unusual for me but um who knows that might change today so let’s go into the mines hello little shiny diamonds I’m going to mine you real quick

Hello oh that feels so good nice and you can see behind me I have already mined and dug a little bit further down I did some strip mining and I think if I remember it correctly oh yes there were also diamonds but I wanted to leave them to mine them on

Camera for you and with you because diamonds are always a special occasion so yeah I am going to take those as well and then we will see how many we can get six diamonds already very nice and I think way in the back I saw some as well

But then I am out of diamond locations for real yes 10 diamonds in total we could make a diamond pickaxe out of that and get cracking on with building the portal but I think we can mine some more I I think I feel like we could explore maybe go

Caving or something because that’s also something that really scares me and then we can build the Portal Yeah I ran out of pickaxes and that’s why I went upstairs to look for some more iron but I found a geode instead so let me just quickly smell up the iron and then we can go check it out oh I’m so excited I was hoping to

Find the Jud because I just love the blocks of them okay let’s make our way inside it oh wow just look at the colors I’m so in love I just can’t wait to use these blocks in my builds oh my goodness look how beautiful it is in here and the sounds The Sounds

We’ve got our first death out of the way um I think we should get back on track and actually collect some iron so we can move on with this whole episode but at least it was spooky right oh there you are I must inform you

I took your child um to a better place of course oh now you’re all coming in well that’s too late but now I can see why there were so many zombies we have a spawner in here not far away from our Stairway To Hell so we really might be thinking of making

An XP farm out of that it might not be the most efficient ient one but it’s better than nothing right oh spooky spider I dare you come at me oh wait is that another spawner it’s a spider spawner okay that’s a little better for an XP farm

Nice ooh also I think the spawners aren’t too far away from each other they might be just too far away for a combined XP farm though but we’ll have to see what a successful caving Mission well except for the dying part but we’ll just forget about that we have so much

Iron now and I think to prevent us from dying again this episode let’s just make ourselves a a full iron armor at least and continue to mine a little more diamonds and then I’ll bring you back all right we now have 32 diamonds to our name and what we’re going to do with

Those is we will put them all in here except for three and then we will make ourselves our first diamond pickaxe nice and as you can see I already have a bucket of water in my inventory and with that we are going to look for a lava pool I know we have some

Lava above my head apparently but I don’t want to destroy our little area we’ve made here and that is why we are going to go all the way to the end of this long tunnel because if I remember correctly we have a lava pool right over

There and I want to get on top of that pool by maybe building some sort of stairway up now let’s see how much we are dealing with here okay I have now uncovered a little of this lava lake and I hope this is enough but uh I think we’re just going

To start putting down our bucket to create some Darkness uh let’s get some light in here yes now you can see we have created the obsidian blocks and what I’m going to do now is just mine a bunch of this obsidian in order to create ourselves a really really big

Portal did we get the block yes ice bucket challenge that’s so cool I really underestimated how much time it takes to mine a single block of obsidian even with a diamond pickaxe but we have acquired 38 obsidian blocks and I think that should be quite enough for

Our portal plans and let’s go upstairs so we can finally start building the portal that’s probably the most harmless part of this whole episode at least if I’m not going to die a fall damage but we will see oh hello okay so the location for the portal I’ve been tinkering around with different

Locations in my mind and in some creative worlds but I decided the best position for the portal is right behind me and I hope that’s a good position because I wanted to be kind of mysterious but not take away too much of the attention of the village over here

And I also had some practical reasoning because it’s close to my base and I don’t want to run a mile before going into The Nether so that’s why I decided on this location I’ve already collected some of the blocks I wanted to use so

Let me just show you what I had in mind well this doesn’t look like much yet but this is basically the gradient I want to achieve going from light at the bottom to dark at the top and we also have now the Moss block so we can make lots of mossy

Cobblestone and that is also going to be a very good transition from this one to the grass blocks or even better the Moss block itself now that I’ve got the stone cutter here as well we can use it to make so many different types of deep slate blocks because they just make for

Such a good gradient I mean if you put down this one over here and then that one over there you can really see the gradient coming together and the farther away you get the better it will look so I plan to build the portal quite big so

That you can see it from far away but not too big so it doesn’t overshadow our village so that’s the plan I have a rough Concept in mind but I think I am going to wing it a little bit so I really hope this is going to be an

Spooky In This Very area but I tried to pull it off and mix and match some things together as you can see I had to integrate the Jacko lanterns because they are the most spooky thing I could think of as a decoration block and I had this concept in mind where as I

Explained earlier the lighter blocks are at the Bott bottom and it gets dark at the top and so it looks like there’s some sort of Darkness emerging from the portal yeah the bridge connection I’m not quite sure about that it feels a little awkward and improvised um but I

Think it’s okay for now and I also tried to build some spooky dead trees out of the mangrove roots and yeah I think it kind of brings the area all together and of course the geod I got heavily inspired by the one we found the only

Thing I did I made an inside out geode because usually um the cow side is inside of the smooth bassal and I just flipped the two blocks because the calside Blends so well with the snow area and I think it turned out quite well but yeah as you can see I haven’t

Lit the portal yet that’s what we’re going to do next and I have prepared our little area over here I made this beautiful purple bed so we can set our respawn point and I’ve prepared some golden socks for us so yeah let’s actually grab those and put these over

There and I have this chest and in there I also prepared the flint and steel which we need to light the portal and I also decided to make a diamond sword and a diamond axe because well the iron sword is still good in duration but the

Ax is quite low and I thought the nether is quite spooky and we want to be able to Bend ourselves uh accordingly um so I say we switch up to diamond tools now get our flint and steel and light the portal I am so nervous and also one

Thing before we go through um can we just appreciate the beautiful view from up here I am so looking forward to fill this area with buildings to finally be able to look over the village I’m always talking about but yeah no more distraction we’re going in okay here we

Um this is a dead end there’s no way out into the open I mean it’s quite a safe place if I can say that in this sort of Dimension let’s just try and dig our way somewhere let’s see where we going I didn’t want to go in full diamond

Armor by the way because if we going to burn in here we are going to lose all of the stuff we collected and that would be quite sad so iron armor it is for now we’ll be fine we’ll be fine I mean we died to zombies earlier what’s the worst that could

That hurts we just drained basically all of our iron Supply but you know what we should make ourselves a shield and maybe another diamond sword let’s try this again let’s go guys I’m coming for you you better be scared let’s see where our stuff there’s our stuff okay now we have golden stuff

We we have our golden boots so they shouldn’t be attacking us yeah I know I might have to just jump down there no hoglands that’s good all of our stuff is here okay let’s grab everything first of all let’s pillar up a bit so we don’t get um smacked again let’s just grab

Some of this stuff and then we will get out of here because um clearly I am not prepared enough or maybe it’s just a skill issue I don’t know but this hurts this hurts so much I want want these give me that oh yeah actually are there

Any hoglands around because I do want some mushrooms give me the mushrooms basically give me everything we have to stay alert nice fungus on a stick that’s the that’s the most useful thing okay okay okay okay we made it to the Soul Sand Valley we are not getting a Tex

Anymore maybe let’s just grab some of the Soul Sand because I just love how it looks F in the common for all of our deaths you’re too young to have a diamond sword aren’t you is that my wait is that my diamond sword is anyone around if I attack you are

You did did anyone see that I want my you’re telling your mom don’t you dare don’t you dare yeah unbelievable actually let’s get some bones right so we have some soul soil and some Soul Sand we do have Crimson stem some mushrooms a warped fungus and three shroom lights also some quartz

O okay uh thanks I guess okay you know what your baby can keep the sword you saved my life there kind of this biome is huge and there’s a oh there’s a hoglin okay no I think um that’s our time to go I will not stay

Any longer in here than I have to because of this guy let’s get out of here this is this is not ideal yeah that’s so nice of you to take him down but I’m just going to go anyways this is a scary place this is a war zone

Yeah despite the fact that the nether is such a scary place the portal that leads to it looks really awesome so I’m quite happy with how everything turned out oh and if you recognize the sounds were a little bit different this episode um it’s because I found this amazing mod

Called uh sound physics and it kind of matches the sound with its environment and I thought that was quite a spooky thing since we were a lot in the mines and in the Nether and I kind of enjoyed it it really adds to the atmosphere and
