Everything About Minecraft 1.19.3 Update – New Vex, Spawn Eggs, 1.20 Previews, Fill Biome & More!

Mojang is releasing Minecraft 1.19.3 very soon so in this video I’ll explain everything you need to know about Minecraft’s newest update now Minecraft 1.19.3 is going to be releasing if everything goes well on December 6th so definitely incredibly soon and one of the biggest features in it is not

Actually in survival mode but its reworks to the creative mode inventory screen in fact from right here you can notice that the creative inventory screen not only has many more tabs it’s also much more sorted with like items always being next to each other definitely making a much easier

Features through data packs simply press data packs when creating a new world as of right now there’s no way of upgrading Old Worlds to experimental features and then you can enable all the features from the new update so for instance right here Minecraft 1.20 or you can

Also enable the bundles as is if you enable both of these press proceed on this warning screen select the rest of your options here then press create new world and also press yes on this screen you can then play Minecraft 1.20 in the snapshot sort of phase although it’s not

Really a snapshot phase anymore it’s sort of a preview phase and of course that includes a bunch of new additions to the game some of which I actually haven’t covered yet but I will try covering those in a video coming soon now everything I’m going to talk about is in Minecraft

1.19.3 and they are spawn eggs for the Iron Golem as well as snow golem I’m not exactly sure why these weren’t spawn eggs from the start probably just because the developers thought that people would build these things instead of spawning them in but having the ability to quickly access Iron Golems as

Well as snow golems if you are playing in Creative or with cheats enabled is incredibly useful also nice because you can now of course use these with the mob spawners there’s two other new spawn eggs as well but you have to get them with commands that’s the fact that the

First one of these spawn eggs is actually a Witherspoon egg so of course if you’re on a server that has creative building enabled people could spawn in a bunch of Withers and destroy your world the other one is an Ender Dragon spawn egg however because it’s only accessible

Through commands and so then most players would not even have access to this I think it’s actually kind of cool to have the Ender Dragon spawn eggs in the game just because it makes sense and could be used for some consistency now of course a lays were added in Minecraft

You look at it closely it has a very slightly more greenish tone to it as well as being a more saturated color of yellow and sort of brown on the top here so if you notice you’re scaffolding looking just slightly different that’s the reason why so that in the future it

Matches more to the new bamboo wood type monster spawners have been changed a bit and you might be wondering if you’re in Java what a monster spawner is well it is the new name for the spawner that’s right the monster spawner is the name of the Spawner in Bedrock Edition and to

Minecraft the pig spawner is the only type of mob spawner that you get when you initially place down that spawner from one that you got with commands as well as that although you can summon these into the game with commands you can actually get the monster spawner

An actual effect being attached along with it as you’re probably aware there is the statistics screen on Minecraft that shows you different data about your world surprisingly enough this data is apparently not sent to Mojang which I wasn’t aware of however what is also into interesting is that mojing is going

To be sending some data but what you do inside the game back to them for studying purposes now this might sound a little bit strange at first it’s actually very limited amounts of data and should improve the experience for everyone you can have your preferences of what data is sent through the

Telemetry screen so simply press Escape then options then Telemetry data right over here and you can notice you can give feedback on this also take a look at what data you have and have what data collection is being given to mojing so either minimal or all the actual required data is incredibly minor

Basically just what game versions on what operating systems on what platforms are being used if it’s modded or not what times of day people are playing at and some of the opt-in features are things like World session ID server modded server type time since load second and time since load ticks and

This data is honestly so minor and if you ask me this sort of almost tends to Mojang wanting to know truly how many players are still playing let’s say 1.8 or 1.16 or 1.12 some of these really popular older versions there are new game rules and technical mechanics in Minecraft

1.19.3 but a particularly interesting one is the snow accumulation height game rule this is done by slash game rules no accumulation height and it basically governs how high the snow will go interestingly enough you could actually set this to make it have more parity with bedrock Edition as with bedrock

Edition snow layers can accumulate infinitely whereas in Java they can only do this to one but more or less that means when it’s snowing instead of the snow only ever stacking up to one block tall you can have it either not stack up at all by setting it to zero so that you

Literally never have snow go on top of your builds which could be super useful if you’re trying to do a wintry area or even more fun and immersive you could have the snow limit be all the way up to eight so they can have full blocks and a

Few technically AFK it an area where it snowed the entire area could be completely covered in thousands upon thousands of blocks of snow all across the world of course it’s really Common Sense inside of Minecraft that you can make a water Source like this or alternatively like this and also that

This does not work with a lava source in fact there used to never be a way of making lava sources but now the only way is with drip Stone until Minecraft 1.19.3 and although this is an optional feature because you have to enable it through cheats or when you’re creating

Your world the new game rule of water source conversion as well as lava source conversion entirely changes the game’s mechanics if you turn it on or off so for instance right here with lava source conversion set to true this will now form if we of course break it and

Replace it so it’s updated and infinite lava source that’s right inside of vanilla Minecraft you can now make infinite lava sources like you could infinite water sources if you turn this game rule to true but also with that same thing being in mind if you have water source conversion set to fulls

Then infinite water is no longer available inside of Minecraft unless you also use that cauldron method so for instance right here you can see this infinite water source is not work talking at all in fact we could fully drain this water like this because our infinite water source just simply is not

Infinite anymore could definitely be a fun challenge to limit your amount of water in a world there is also an insanely large amount of bug fixes inside of Minecraft 1.19.3 and although I’m not going to nearly go over all of them I am going to cover some really specific and important

Ones that will change the game Mechanics for you in a big way I don’t know about you but sometimes I’ll have horses go through Nether Portals the problem is when they do oftentimes they’ll suffocate when you go on to the other end but now inside of Minecraft

1.19.3 that is fully fixed and there is no longer this horse suffocating inside of Nether Portals glitch which now makes it really safe for you to transport your favorite equine friends between Dimensions Mojang actually removed one of my favorite things to do with turtles and that is to infinitely breed them it

Was my assumption that it was an intended feature that Turtles could be infinitely bred but apparently it’s not because now in the game there’s actually a breeding cool down timer as you can see right here I’m trying to right click on these Turtles and they’re just not

Entering love mode and so now when you’re playing Minecraft it’s going to be just a little bit more difficult to breed your turtles up shulkers are no longer able to glitchingly keep items on there when they’re being opened and closed so for instance right here when

We open it all those torches are going to pop off whereas normally this one wouldn’t of it would have just stayed on there and it’s the same with let’s say Bells we have a bell on the side part here and we open this up that Bell just

Popped off although there was no sound for it however if they are on the side of the shulker box that does not open and does not move at all when you’re opening that shulker box then that will stay on there as of course it makes

Sense so just be aware of this as of course you probably do have a lot of shulker boxes around your world that may have torches on top of them you’re now gonna have to come up with an alternative way of keeping that spawn proofed if you’re giving yourself an

Effect in Minecraft there will always be a timer right next to your name but it will just have some star symbols if the time is too long same with the bat omen or the hero of the village effect although I thought this was also intended apparently it’s a bug and so

Now you’ll always get the full timer even if let’s say in this case it is literally 277 hours oh well at very least we’ll now know how long we have the bad Omen effect left for as well as time to utilize the hero of the village effect

If you’re a big fan of portal-based farms inside of Minecraft unfortunately some of those have been intentionally broken by mojing specifically enderman’s skeletons and wither skeletons inside of Minecraft 1.19.3 can no longer spawn inside of nether portals due to the light level change that they spawn at so just be

Aware of this bug fix as potentially a lot of your overpowered Farm should be run a lot inside of Minecraft 1.19.2 until you update to 1.19.3 because of that point onwards they’re all going to be completely useless although still of course certain Farms like let’s say iron golem Farms that use

The portals just to transport the Golems here and there will be completely safe here’s Airline awesome bug fix mobs no longer get permanently stuck inside of water see now if you have a villager or let’s say a cow or some other mob inside of water and they can float they can

Actually accurately path find onto solid blocks around it as I’m sure you’ve had many times when you’re transporting around different mobs in Minecraft and they’ll just get permanently stuck in that water unless of course you manually push them out of the water it can definitely be quite annoying so

Thankfully this bug that greatly affected villager movement as well as other mobs movement has been fixed as you can even see right here this pig is actively moving this direction instead of just sort of staying still inside of water that is two blocks deep or deeper

It looks like these poor polar bears are unnaturally suffering from being burnt to death but thankfully now inside of Minecraft 1.19.3 you can actually put them off from being on fire by using a splash water bottle now splash water bottles can be used for a lot of things inside

Of Minecraft but a bug fixes that they previously were unable to although they should of but are now able to have mobs he put out if they mysteriously and of course by no discernible reason are set on fire definitely a good idea to have those around with you if you are dealing

With zombified villagers as you could save them from being burnt to death when the sun comes up Shields are no longer useful for just arrows but also things that arrows can blow up like let’s say an end crystal in fact the same is now true for all exclusions including TNT

You saw there however something really strange that although you let’s say have some TNT down and you have them all blow off at separate times like for instance right here we’ll have all these blow up at different times I’m gonna hold up our Shield that this Shield will be able to

Protect us from all those explosions it will for whatever strange reason not be able to protect us from two explosions going off at the exact same time so for instance right here if we have this lever have both pieces of TNT be primed at the exact same time you will actually

Not be protected from the explosion and I have no idea why but just be aware of that if you’re trying to protect yourself from explosions with a shield some something you may not know is that copper or responds much more frequently if you are inside of the drip Stone cave

Biome however a strange bug that wasn’t fixed until now is it spot at that higher drip Stone cave rate also inside of the deep dark biome however that’s now been changed so just be aware that inside of your current deep dark biomes you’ve generated you will have extra

Copper that you would not have if those deep dark biomes were generated inside of Minecraft 1.19.3 and onwards so it honestly might be a good idea to explore a whole lot of the deep dark biome set on the upper reaches of it you’ll get that extra copper throughout the entire history of

Minecraft outside of modded games or editors of the actual files there was literally no way in the game to change the biomes that certain areas are they just generated that way the exact same on every seed and they would stay that way throughout all your worlds so for

Instance if you let’s say had a world that you spawned in a swamping and you built an amazing City unfortunately that grass would always stay a strange greenish color as you could not change the biome however now inside of Minecraft there is a new command The Fill biome command it works almost

Exactly like the fill command where you basically specify a region you can use tilde’s if you want to have sort of a relative area and for instance right here we could have this be a jungle I might have accidentally filled this region in as jungle door instead of

Jungle as it is so similar to The Fill command so just be aware of that as of course summoning in 30 000 jungle doors is probably not a good idea and here we go finally yeah so just be aware of course this command is very very similar

To The Fill command you may accidentally spawn in 30 000 jungle doors like I did here but normally when you’re not dealing with thousands of extra jungle doors you can run that fill command and have a bunch of different areas be turned to different biomes so for

Instance right here I just had this region be changed from the Dark Forest and also the mega tiger here to the jungle and we have that beautiful color the unfortunate thing about this command is that there is a limit to it just like there is with the fill command and the

Limit is super small only being 32 000 which in a 3D area is actually quite small however in every single way it is into that new biome and even on the F3 screen it shows it as that new biome which is definitely cool because that gives an insane amount of new options to

Map creators without having to use additional tools they can just do this in the vanilla game and also be aware that because biome data is not stored per block it will not fill exactly the area that you say it’ll just fill a very similar area to that also something you

Can do if you want on the fill biome command you can add after what biome you want this area to become a replace so for instance we could only have the Taiga near here be replaced and not the rest of this so for instance you can see

Right here this Mega tiger stays as a mega Tiger but over here inside of the standard Tyga we now literally have a Crimson Forest which you can tell by the strange Sky color as well as of course the particles in the air and the grass color so certainly a super fun command
