Exclusive Minecraft Tricky Trials Preview!

hello chat I should be live how’s it going how you guys doing it’s been a hot minute since we streamed on the main Channel but today is extremely exciting day it’s an exciting week actually for Minecraft in general that’s right this week tricky Char is coming actually in what 2 days yeah yeah on it’s the 13th right on the Thursday it’s 3 days it’s not far away how are you guys doing so today I’m just going to have a quick explain of what we’re doing and then we’ll hop straight into it because I know you guys are excited to see some tricky trials I’m excited to play it as well I have only done one trial chamber before one run and that was way back when they first came out I think they’ve changed a lot since there’s new Mobs there’s new stuff to do we’re going to go over like all the crafting stuff the crafter which I’m really excited about a little bit of the the Wolves the armadillos which are kind of out already but we got to see a little bit of those in action too how you guys doing hope you’re doing good I’m actually being joined as well by MOS and olra who are gameplay designer and structure designer at Mojang so they going be joining us as well giving us all the hints all the tips all the info we can ask some questions all about the brand new update so um first up thanks to them for joining me that is a incredibly cool opportunity thanks for Mojang for sorting that out I’m incredibly uh feel incredibly blessed to have this opportunity cuz I know that they don’t do it often so I’m feeling very good how are you guys feeling you ready I hope you are respond to me please don’t make me feel like I’m by myself but if you’re ready we will hop over to motion ORF and we’ll get going I know they got lots for us to do and we don’t have long so let’s do it you ready you ready okay cool if you’re not already hit the sub button that would be awesome and let’s get into it let’s go say hi to the guys I’m going to switch over actually so we got lots to do today lots here they are hello fellas how are we doing hello hello great thanks for asking how you been yes very good thank you we’re stuck in a cave together ready to explore the brand new update so um I think um I tried to say your names as accurately as possible I probably butchered them but how about we uh go for a little introduction first and then we’ll just get straight into the action I think think cuz everyone’s excited to see what’s going down today right on hi everybody I’m Matthew dren or MOS uh heartless MOS on X formally known as Twitter I work on the trial Chambers uh I created the structures that we house everything in and how they all connect together I’m really excited to uh be here hey near hello hello uh yeah I’m near or I’m a gameplay designer and uh I in this specific update I mostly worked on this thing that is on Mosa’s shirt right here the mace very nice of you to put a ma on the front of your shirt he’s looking for he like wait [Laughter] what nice okay do you know what really bad me I forgot about the mace we need to squeeze that in at some point as well for sure so I purposely have done I think I did one trial run back when they entered the snapshots but apart from that that I haven’t touched any of the updates just saving it for today for release so it’d be awesome of you to take us through the new stuff we got the crafter sitting here which would be cool to start with then maybe do a trial chamber definitely look at the mace and then see if we’ve got any questions or any any other stuff to check out afterwards what do you guys think sounds great yeah definitely if anyone has uh questions or even challenges or something they want us to do in the child Chambers would be fun to hear here sounds good right should we let’s start with this though yeah yeah that sounds good we have a chest here for us to gear up for the trials but uh I thought uh we we might uh you know I don’t know how good we are at uh PVP so I thought it would be nice if we have some assistance and this is the crafter here to save us if you look right click on it you can see the recipe that currently is inside golden apples for us and stand on this uh suspiciously placed pressure plate right there here we go b boom and it starts crafting it’s going it’s going golden apples you can always want I love how it comes out of like it’s like a little face on the front and it comes out its mouth that’s great yeah the crafter is actually a really really interesting uh new feature because it’s been like something the community talks about for years and there’s a bunch of mods that sort of play around with it and even internally we’ve been having conversations about it for many many many years so I think uh the design passed a lot of iterations and I think I really like where it landed uh basically aching to a dropper right like it’s very much interactions to a dropper yeah yeah I really like it design it’s so simple as well like it’s so easy to understand like with no explanation you could still use it it’s so nice and like I like the sound it makes too when it it pops out an item it’s got a different sound it sounds great I I am a firm believer that one of the main reasons Minecraft is success is the sounds like the plop sound of it agreed I definitely agree with that let’s uh let’s gear up let’s do it so we don’t uh die we can take the first one there sounds good so we’re going to we’re going to attempt this cuz when I tried it it was just solo but when you have more people that go into the chamber it levels it up right it kind of scales it to how many people are there uh yes I think most can tell a lot more about this the the med scientist structures right there but before that maybe just before we jump in notice that we have a little friend for us we do we do yeah so we’ve each got one of the new wolves I’ve got the wait which one is this looks a little bit like a tiger I think yeah this the striped one he’s looking cool I like him I got spotted one which one do you have the snowy I think most right yeah I love the snowy one he’s so cute it looks good with theed call yeah bud is his name yeah you also have scoots so you can craft armor for them the new W armor I’m going to do that real quick so we need have an extra one I need one more yeah there you go we need to brush the armadillos right that’s how you get the scoots yes exactly okay the brush breaks quick so each brush basically uh or you want each back and forth takes quite a lot of the brush basically yeah and what is let’s see the recipe for the [Music] armor it’s I really like the it’s very old school this is how it looks so yeah I need two more can anyone spare me some Scoops so your chest has a stack actually you want more oh yeah I missed it thank you because the cool thing about the armor is that when the wolf takes damage instead of hurting the wolf it hurts the armor yeah and then you can right click with a scoot to repair the armor back up so it’s basically like a mini game of keeping your friend alive while they’re helping you against uh the enemies nice so will the armor kind of change a little bit visually as well like as it’s breaking absolutely start showing signs of damage as uh the wolf take takes hits oh that’s clever I like that yeah okay let me grab both got snowballs food scoots I think we might be ready to gox here in case we find the cool new discs we can come and play them oh yeah nice nice take this with us actually that would be cool the dogs look so good with the armor as well did you did you see the little knee pads they have knee pads yeah they kind of look like they’re cosplaying as armadillos a bit yes okay Mo take us take us in yeah I’ve uh dropped us down in a cave where we’re in iron armor here we’ve kind of bounced the trial Chambers for like the midpoint of the gear Tech Tree so right around the corner here behind you we’re looking at the rare exposed uh trial Chambers we don’t actually know where this leads but I’m suspecting it’s going to lead us into a chamber looks like it ready for some combat huh so do you find these these can just be anywhere as you’re kind of mining down there’s no nothing on the surface that can tell you where they are yeah that’s a good question if you get to a cartographer you can certainly um and from different reward chests you can find some maps that lead you to the trial Chambers oh nice okay that’s great so you’ll dig down we don’t know exactly where you’re coming in but we’re certainly going to you know don’t be precious break all of these I play all these you’re okay to break them get them out oh I see copper we’re we’re letting you go first because we want you to see it not because we want to sacrifice you sure sure you’re about to punch me and I see it you uh you click the right S I don’t have your back I don’t have your back my dog does though the dog is coming for you fighting okay he’s oh no okay wait wait wait I’m going to Shield we’re straight into it yeah the dog my dog is not happy with you at all the dogs are fighting are they fighting each other I think they’re fighting each jeez yeah he mad he mad can you make them sit sit sit sit calm yourself oh the dogs are fighting wait what calm no please no oh my armor is gone stop this violence yeah sit sit behave yourself my wolf ising us the B so good yeah so these these skeletons specifically weren’t in the first TR chamber that I tried because I think they were a different kind of different mob Al together but these are the bogged right yeah we noticed that we needed a bit another range to enemy in these spawners cuz they s they choose one mob uh one melee mob one ranged mob and a class that we call special mobs like slimes and spiders and cave spiders so every trial Chambers uh chooses one mob from each of these categories to create your challenge for today okay we’re in actually the first chamber I ever made oh really nice this feels like quite a big room oh no what’s going on here oh it’s the oh yeah we’re in trouble wait Retreat Retreat you’re going in just like full pants that’s it uh yeah I feel that I’m feeling that for this for today that’s the energy we’re bringing right so what this water just appeared like out of nowhere right so I activated it actually it’s not necessarily good it depends on if we want it but I wanted to get up and down more easily so I activated it and here’s and there’s this uh the the other New Mob the big mob from the tri Chambers is the breeze and he has just blasted me to Oblivion yeah and also uh if if you don’t have a great teammate like me to activate the water the breeze might activate it for you yeah oh my God no I’m poison oh my God so actually forgot we had the apples for a sec I need to keep an eye on my wolf so they don’t die where is it here is oh he’s fighting the B such a brave wolf okay so we got a breeze down here actually kind of hard to hit Rubble yep oh there you go what did it what it just dropped it dropped the breeze Rod let me give you so you can check it out oh yeah I haven’t seen this before all the loot nice I’m pinned down on half a heart do you think you could swing over help where um the stairs on the opp uh by the pillars I think I don’t see you I don’t see you either I’m on the second floor on the second floor somewhere okay I’m looking for opposite side of the room I think I can’t turn around there’s a quite a few breezes like yeah knocking us up I think you’re right next to me I’m up in a room in a corner oh I see I see yeah thank you oh some of the spawners already finished no I fell okay I’m I’m coming back up is that the breeze activating the water as well exactly yes it shoots out a wind charge and wind charge can activate buttons and many other Redstone elements oh we here I just heal apples apples apples thank you you can see I was in trouble here yeah you you picked a good place to hide that was good I have half a heart half a heart thank you for saving me no worries we’ve got a couple left so as the spawners empty they’re not like traditional dungeon spawners are there they’re completely different yeah they will go on a cool down for about a half hour they’ll refresh with new SP mobs so you can come back and fight this as many times as you like oh that’s cool actually yeah they’re also not affected by light so putting down torches is not enough you have to beat the challenge of the mobs yeah and when you do they’re going to give you some reward let’s see oh yeah the rewards come at the oh nice okay so let’s have a look at these yeah so these were in what I played before but you couldn’t do anything with them so what do we do with these Keys the trial Keys question why don’t we head back to my little hidey Hall in this corner over here and uh just while we’re on the spawners quick the loot pops out the top right and kind of see it over here yeah yeah let’s I think maybe let’s go around the room and collect all the loot then meet there and see what we sounds good so we got got baked potatoes always good to have a regen potion which is nice and cuz we had three players as well that actually felt quite felt quite challenging still cuz the the amount of mobs that were actually in the room yeah super stressful with three players with the breezes knocking you about we were super professional of course yeah so this is the new block that you’ve missed in your last uh visit here yes I don’t know if you noticed this but if you walk away from it a little bit oh it mouth opens yeah oh that’s a cool looking block I like that so I’m guessing this uh he’s going to eat one of these I that if you look inside you can see a prev oh nice yeah that’s cool Shields iron Enchanted stuff all right let’s open this up oh there it goes so do you get like a couple random ones from here basically yeah they shows you all the options and you’re getting a couple Rand from them but I can use more keys right yeah we can all use a key on the spawner and then it’s used up for us nice I like the little particles where it’s kind of it’s like put the key in my mouth please emeralds and arrows okay I accidentally picked up one of your drops you’re good I’ll I’ll share back to you I’m going to take this axe I’ve been looking forward to using an axe yeah it’s pretty strong there’s an enchanted one with what it have efficiency on it let’s see what I get oh nice oh you go full Crow okay piercing too that’s what I’m using nice so now we’ve got so we had three keys and that’s emptied this now right yeah we have six more keys that I collected from around the room oh nice but this Vault each player can only open it once okay oh so I couldn’t have used three keys No basically what’s happening is that the challenge is scaled we saw more mobs because we’re more players but also the reward is scaled cuz you can each of us can open it’s like a chest that each of us can open nice okay so I couldn’t just throw three keys and get it all let’s see what you get from this one let’s go here we go I like this it’s like it’s like a uh oh that’s good that’s good diamond and enchanted bow got power two bow definitely take that power two is good so powerful I have a key on this I don’t have a key actually but there you go thank you I was thinking I’d like to save my key for a little something special is that okay I got I got a little something for you oh okay nice yeah ask your viewers to all keep this a little secret okay okay yeah I won’t look I’m out that’s okay you can look you can look there are a lot of secrets in the trial Chambers lots of little different paths one of my favorite ones you just take a little quick Gander over over that way a little bit which way this way I know oh wait under yeah wait what I I did not know about this uh do this in a little bit yeah ow ow ow yeah careful careful can’t do that do you want to go in go in okay I’m going in just shift so you don’t take damage or or do everyone has to keep this a secret right we can do this okay chat say nothing say nothing where are we going where are we heading oh wait secr sometimes the secret doesn’t come in uh oh secret on this one too okay okay we’ll find the next one yeah yeah okay that’s that’s cool to know though always check underneath always a little trick seies here and there so one of the things I wanted to talk to you about is this room I think this room is a good example of what we tried to do for the trial Chambers way back last year in June and July we only had the breeze and we only had this room or something like this room room so this room really represents what we did with scale and what I I try to focus on uh which is navigation and traversal yeah uh one of the things I like to think about is players who see like a one or two high block wall certainly you can jump up that like that’s a that’s a thing we get really excited about once you start making it three High we’re start judging between should I block up or should I just run up the stairs yeah so the tri Chambers is filled with a lot of these little decisions where it’s always easier to place and break some blocks rather than it is to set up the navigation that I’ve set for you yeah so in this way i’ I’m I’m hoping that players use pickaxes they use blocks they they can totally mess up what I’ve done and try to solve this combat situation a little more creatively yeah that that kind of came to play here as well like when I was trying to get to you I tried to jump over here a few times but fell and then like you try and find another way to do it so I like oh build and then I was like mining so yeah there’s loads of different ways to get across it and if you’re you’re good with your parkour skills you can just hop straight across Under Pressure we thought about that a lot uh one of the things and we’ll move on and we’ll check out more of the trial Chambers but one of the things I think about a lot is this is a hard jump for a lot of players we don’t think about that a lot but this is pretty good but this is actually much much harder a two wide Gap yeah this is very difficult for a lot of players very easy for some but think about it you got to run you got to jump you got to time your jump right and there’s always a chance you might miss and You’ got breezes throwing the things at you too exactly so once you get to like even a three wide Gap that’s heroic you know to a lot of Minecraft players so we use a lot of things like distance and and spacing and navigation to make these uh to pair this with the combat and the new mod that we brought in especially the breeze who can totally jump all the way up there totally jump many many places in this room who got the the charges actually we should show those off too I yeah I have some wind charges on me I just before we move on from this room I wanted to show this thing right here looks like a vault uh oh it’s like blue but you can notice that the key doesn’t work on this and there’s sort of a little sound that tells you H maybe you’re using the wrong key and we’ll be we’ll be back for this a bit later I think it does look like there’s better stuff inside too I’m seeing apples some spooky looking potion too mhm yeah that definitely has a block of emerald okay yeah we definitely need to come back here yeah H and these are the wind charges I can use them to try to get up different locations basically be even more proficient in the little challenges that uh this little guy set for us yeah so that’s cool you can use these in battle now nice and how high can you jump with those that is very much reliant on your skill okay but I would say you can do pretty impressive things whose dog is this this is I don’t know but they don’t call me heartless for no reason you better pull your dog down I thought it was mine I was wind my dog was good jumped into action yeah you might have noticed we got a lot of items in this thing so I’m going to do just a little drop off nice little before we head on to the next spot so I on average like how many rooms are there in a trial chamber or can it can it vary quite a lot it can vary oh it can vary you can get I’ve seen three four chambers but I’ve also seen up to seven oh okay nice depends on um your luck with the corridors primarily oh yeah we have this this is new right uh this is the copper bulb and what I just did is deoxidize it so using my axe I can scrape off the oxidation which makes it output more light y so basically different yeah it’s a bit different than other dungeons in the sense that you don’t have to place down torches if you don’t want you just scrape these off and it basically gives you a lot more light yeah that’s nice actually I like that I’m hearing noise oh these oh this yeah this the big Corridor yeah well this room is huge actually I love this room I love that it’s three levels yeah Corridor is my favorite part of the trial Chambers by far so is this another one where the candles are those are the the big vaults that you were talking about the blue ones yeah the ominous vaults and they take a certain kind of key we’re looking for I like it I like how it’s all a little bit spooky you know I like that a lot oh we got the pots as well candles oh it’s a big pot emeralds I’ll take that yeah this is the the thing players have been waiting for I think a few updates to be able to Zelda the call it we got zombos oh gosh I did not see that okay these guys are these are flying oh my God B baby baby so weird you guys you need to come down and watch this this is well um seems like you’re dying yeah we baby on the way yeah but come here come here Dad okay you good up you good up there I think he’s fine I’m good I’m good oh wait this is a normal monster room no way with this that must be that must be so rare it looks like it’s been built in like it lines up perfectly as well right I for a second I thought you good this wonderful that’s crazy I’ve seen this so much I’ve seen I mean I look at thousands of these you know yeah yeah so crazy it’s so rare that this happens but wow I’ve never seen it like this before yeah it’s like perfect to the back of the wall That’s rare O A bu it now I’m unstoppable let’s go name tag just in case oh you can name your your wolf oh yeah so from the corridor we reach one end of it and I’ve decided to call this The Atrium kind of nice decoration area and if you notice we also got some motifs for I think this one is the breeze oh yeah like his eyes spider over here spider spider spers spider right yeah those little legs and everything oh yeah that’s cool that’s that’s the teeth I think right like the face has am I see that I think the spider has the things on the front I think the big red hole is the mouth but I could be convinced its eyes oh right yeah I I don’t know yeah Chad this comes out on the 13th the 13th this is this too to also do some motifs and design the look and feel of the trial Chambers so we sat down together and we decided what the floor should look like what the theme should be and I took that and paired that with uh what I do scale and place yeah that’s great is there is there like a motif for each uh Mob or is it kind of like the ones that just appear in the the trial Chambers uh that’s a good idea yeah right now it’s just the motifs but we maybe someday we can make it match up with the mobs yeah that would be cool you know what I found yeah one of these little sneaky I don’t know it’s kind like a it’s kind of like a vent I think there’s there’s a way to get through up here oh okay rare tree what is this this never happens Cactus tree never happened you never saw it okay here’s the here’s the vent oh yeah there we go that’s cool then vented yeah oh we going here honeycomb honey comb and loads of arrows yink yeah so generally I think maybe mhu can talk about that a bit but I think there’s generally quite a difference between the vaults and the chests right in the loot So Def find in them the VA the reward the way we we thought about placing resources is we have pots we have chests we have secrets and we have rewards which would be what you get for doing the combat you know like Ser surviving a combat but we also thought it’s really important to give you things to either get started or to refill or give you like a sense of what this place was and who was here and who made this so the items are here to help you complete the trial Chambers but it’s also a little bit of flavor here and there we’re rolling the dice on this over oh you got a book oh which enchantment is that channeling okay okay oh what you get there a b pns oh we’ve emptied it and it’s dark now as well yeah yeah yeah I love these I feel like if you could find say two of these you say it resets like every half an hour right so you could do you could do one hop to the other one and by the time you finish the other one the previous one will be reset so you can just like hop between the two that would be really cool see which it you can fight these as many times as you like uh I like we did for the vaults though is that you can only activate a vault one time or an ominous Vault one time then you’ll need to find some new trial Chambers okay yeah that makes sense I like that oh is this is this a door or yeah that’s a great question should be looks like it should be what do you think that is that is the answer moving on yeah patch that up it’s okay question question what could that be open questions are fun H very suspicious or where should we had to next yeah yeah we got some choices here we we could explore this Corridor to find more Chambers or we could head over to the intersection and see what uh path split off there we should head to the intersection yeah let’s do that cuz we need to find we need to find the other key that can fit the ominous Vault right yeah so at one end of the corridor we have of the The Atrium and uh the kind of entrance piece over there and then it always goes into a corridor right in the middle of the trial Chambers this is one of the three variants of corridors we have or sorry one of the three variants of intersections we have we head up the stairs oh nice yeah the bedroom yeah who’s staying here nice little we can set our respawn Point here get a nice little check we need more food or anything kind of resources set up a little base here oh that’s a that’s a really cool idea actually yeah nice little reprieve you know I love this we’re talking about sounds earlier but the sound of walking over this sounds so nice so ding ding ding ding uh just watching our time do we want to maybe go to ominus m what do you think I think so huh we need to and also I there’s lots of these dotted around isn’t there so you can kind of even though they’re one time use you can still find quite a few other ones one time us per player per player okay even better so we have a a couple ways we can go but I think we need to make this a little bit more ominous okay so you’ll have to forgive my cheats a little bit hope you don’t mind everyone you work on the game you’re allowed okay look at this there we go okay I’ve been waiting to see one of these one of the vaults would uh spawn this for you that’s so cool what’s that so it’s an ominous bottle yeah look little eyes status effect that we had do we need a few of these or would one be enough I think one is enough to activate or do we should we all be under it I don’t mind that yeah one should be enough to activate it though okay so this contains I might be wrong but I’m pretty sure this contains bad Omen right mhm exactly nice bottle of bad Omen so do I just uh just drink this Cork and uh here we go oh that sound I love that that was great so now I have the bad Omen for it’s an hour and 40 minutes I give you a real powerful one nice so normally this is what we’d use for raids isn’t it so we get B and go to the raids but there’s another use now yeah you’ll get the bottle and when you drink it and if you have this effect you walk into a village you know what’s going to happen yep but now it might other things might happen if we go places okay I’m scared oh oh wait what oh from here in the sky okay who we put that there where did he come from so let’s head up here yeah now you can see all the oh that was crazy now oh my goodness now we’re in trouble yeah yeah that’s so many so guys if you didn’t see that all of the um oh they’ve got Enchanted armor as well oh man so all of the the the spawners changed blue they had like the little blue flames come out and what does that mean for us apart from we’re in trouble you every now and then you might be hearing some can hear something dangerous things I have the speed effect right now oh my gosh okay I do as well so now this is upped the difficulty quite a lot right cuz we now have things with Enchanted bows I think they got Enchanted armor as well my is doing work you have some special effects happening above your head some ominous effects we might be dropping potions or arrows or other things on you oh wait M did you die I I was temporarily un alive yes but that noise it’s like a little alarm this is crazy a little rusty I’m glad we’ve got these apples otherwise I’d be in trouble oh yeah look what they’ve changed might be that next level up of gear you might need if you want on the this is uh this is mad and and it’s leveled up again cuz there’s three of us exactly oh wait wa this room is very interesting if you keep watching the floor you would see a lot of places you could fall off basically because of the wind burst one thing we didn’t really highlight is that the breeze the attack do activates things around it so it presses buttons and you see a lot of little traps around the room that get activated by it and also it opens trap doors so if you’re standing on trap doors you’re going to fall to your death basically that’s crazy if you come to the middle room here you can see that we got a new kind of key new key so the last one was orange this one’s way more evil looking and blue so these are going to be the ominous Vault Keys exactly let’s have a look there we go omous trial key they’re cool looking I like these but we going use one each right so there you go there’s one yeah exactly you should take a second to check out these cool skulls you got going on coming off of you too oh yeah is that for the bad Omen I believe so oh trial Omen it’s changed exactly it basically Baden is something that is the generic one and then each uh ominous event basically creates a different effect so you can identify what you’re in yeah feel like a piece of Soul Sand right now I like how these Keys these Keys have three heads too oh yeah nice right I guess we need to find one of those vaults yes vaults I think there was one up there if we can parkour up to it oh yeah I see it there we go are your dogs still going strong the armor is helping out loads I I keeping keeping it alive keep healing it it’s a teamwork it’s doing so much work as well because the the bog are afraid of it because there’re uh skeletons oh okay yeah nice okay so you start then what you get here we go this let see what we get from this revolting the new achievements as well oh oh the dog’s going to grab it straight away I W those treasure oh give me that that’s new so we got for the Finer Things I see yeah we got like five diamonds I think a block of emerald which is kind of nuts and one of the new music discs Lena rain Creator which is one of my favorite tracks actually from the new ones do it nice here we go the beginning’s kind of creepy too again haunted house Vibes yeah [Music] yeah I like that what did you get some wind charges chares nice couple other nice things okay let’s see if we can naturally get the heavy core it’s quite yeah that will be nice my w for luck another disc what am I seeing yeah another disc n got the some wind charges and arrows is it the same [Music] this yeah it’s the same yeah I think so so the same color yeah so we’re looking for what’s it called the core heavy core is the heavye the new item used to craft the mace yes and I’m guessing they’re pretty rare they are we have a few ominous keys and we know the location of a few ominous vaults yeah say let’s try a few more before let’s do it we give up cuz we’re still looking for use for This breeze Rod so I’m guessing that might make a nice handle for the mace exactly uh there was one up here right oh yeah here it is I I trust MOS knows where they are I have a vague idea oh bye dog here it is okay the candles are a nice touch yeah I like how they pull the attention to it okay does anyone have keys I have or I thought I had keys maybe I dropped them I do not have keys I do not have keys we got to have some keys don’t we we grabbed three use I I grabbed three and three yeah just out of that one so I think [Music] y very good stuff yeah that’s really fun I like how this room is like tall enough to do it like you said you could go from from any level and use the mace that you just crafted I really like that that design I spent a lot of time studying our cave systems and different structures from all over Minecraft and the intention was to create a certain kind of scale that makes it feel like yeah this is still Minecraft but we’re able to do more and and bigger yeah I’m hoping the trial Chambers to everyone still feels uh like a very mcraft type of thing to have yeah it feels like it and as well I think when you see this just like someone just built something nice but actually as you’ve been explaining it there’s so much method in it as well like having each layer the way they’re all set out it’s there so much thought that goes into each room which is really cool to hear appreciate it thank you put a lot of you just said by the way what you just did is when you were standing here using your mace and then when you got down you immediately switch to your sword yeah and I think that’s perfect right that’s exact what should happen mace is extremely powerful when used correctly but when you’re just down here surrounded by enemies if you don’t have wind charges probably you want to switch to a sword right and that’s exactly the balance we were trying to to strike the sword is still very useful the ax is still very useful but the mace still so satisfying to use yeah you’re so right and it came like naturally as well you’re like oh yeah this isn’t as good close up you can kind of do your initial damage at the beginning and then going with the the sword or the axe yeah very cool design so we’ve done have we done pretty much everything or is there something else was there something else I mean there is so much more that we can’t really get to I think there is one more enchantment for the mace we haven’t seen which is breach very good in PvP because it lets you uh go through armor basically oh wow okay yeah that’s powerful um we have so many Banner patterns potery shirts uh new tied arrows new potions like the the ominous trials don’t just give you more mobs they give you Mobs with these crazy effects that affect the battlefield there is so much we can talk about here but honestly I would say just it’s best to experience it than just go into the game and play yeah I agree yeah it’s so cool we got all the new paintings as well woo yes oh I love that and those my faite my favorite pilot the it’s just these are not a reward you don’t need to go out and find them this is you have your world that you played on with your sheep and cows a nice house just put on a painting you’ll get new paintings right is about us updating and improving the game all the time it’s not just about new and and shining right I love doing those little things yeah there’s quite a lot of new paintings right this place is looking really nice now yeah exactly we should just move in you’re looking for a you’re looking for a job Dan I’ll try I can spam paintings wherever you want excellent oh this has been really fun yeah if we’re if we’re out of stuff then I guess this is a good place to wrap it up but yeah there’s so much new stuff there’s still new copper blocks loads of variants of those the trapo the door the greates chiseled copper there’s loads of tough stuff and the polished and brick versions of those what else we got Chambers in the trial chambers that you haven’t seen yet yeah we only like scratch the on those soon too so keep an eye out for that new ones oh we’re expanding new changes little minor fixes and some additions nice uh new shards new armor trims which I got one of them on right now music discs which we got two of 20 new paintings nine new ambient tracks this this a big update and that’s not including the little mini update we got with the um oh my camera’s gone never mind but that’s not including the uh armadillos the woles which are already in the game this comes out on the 13th right this week on the 13th and definitely don’t forget about the breeze mob oh the breeze for cool and so dangerous so dangerous especially when there’s with the crafter as well I think this is one of the biggest updates Minecraft has ever had ever it feels so it feels like it fits in too like it’s a massive structure but I feel like it’s going to work it it it fits in so well all the new blogs look sick too I’m really liking the mace this is the first time I’ve tried the mace and I absolutely loved it but I’m going to I’m going to love you and leave you that’s pretty much all I had to show you today but I think you’ll find that was a lot I you know me I love spooky I love evil and this feels a little bit kind of both you know we got the
