how’s it huffing Jank heads welcome back to another episode of potato craft M tato poisonous potato Minecraft update that’s right people we’re doing it again I had a lot of fun with doing this yesterday this ended up being super cool I think this whole dimension everything is sick and I really uh I mean yeah I want to uh keep exploring it and keep figuring it all out so what are we going to do today our second episode that is a great question this has cursive binding on it and I don’t even realize that but that’s okay part of what we’re going to do I guess I don’t need him on right now cuz he just wants us to go defeat the boss which we’ll do that um eventually but we definitely need armor so we’ll make the potato chest plate the poisonous potatoes and then we going to want the potato Hammer I think is the best weapon we have the potato peeler which is already pretty godamn good okay so we do need to hunt those or uh hunt the uh Phantoms potato eyes don’t need to worry about those right now hot potatoes I guess I’ll look out for lava and maybe ore as well we’ll see what kind of ore we can get here and then maybe I’ll make a potato battery if I find the need for it why do you guys keep standing on my goddamn furnace it’s weird and I don’t like it okay well for now I uh I don’t want to lose lose where we are so I’ll get a good look at my cords -240 790 okay okay okay got a good idea of where we are so now I guess the name of the game for now is going to be just to kind of look around and I’ll be uh killing some potato mobs of course as I go to try to collect peels okay did get one from there Great Potato oh that’s just a normal potato peels no color interesting I don’t really know how the color system works yet but I guess we’ll figure that out either way which direction do I want to go let’s see let’s head south for now that kind of looks like the best direction there’s also some real wood over there which is kind of interesting so there’s like real Forest around here Dy potato chicken okay yeah I guess I’ll uh do some looking around do some killing of some mobs if I had a saddle I could get a horse that would be sick actually H well keep a look out for those too I guess O Okay so this is a new block grabat oh this is the gravel okay so it is breakable with a shovel is it going to drop Flint occasionally or not okay maybe not this kind of is given me like um does it fall it does at least fall kind of looks like uh tater tots like a big bowl of ground up tater tots or hash browns I guess is kind of what that would be either way oh we have the potato clouds kind of gross but I do have o a potato cave but I can’t mine the potato Stone yet cuz if I break this it’s not going to give me anything just like if I break that so what do I need to break this that is the question that is certainly the question the potato Hammer doesn’t seem like what I need so maybe I don’t have the tool on locked yet H that is peculiar that is peculiar well at least for the time being we do have ore that we can mine well that we can theoretically mine but we can’t mine it yet so that’s a bit of a shame but I guess we’ll we’ll try to figure that out oh it is night time maybe I should have slept before I left although at the same time actually night time is probably the perfect time to collect some potato skins I imagine perhaps are mobs even going to spawn nothing’s spawning yet maybe it just turned to night I guess I it’s getting pretty solidly night and yet nothing’s spawning so I don’t know okay do sheep drop wool doesn’t actually seem like they do just drop peels like everything else huh all right also not seeing any mobs so I guess I don’t know oh never mind there’s a mob a potato creeper interesting I’m very tempted to see what happens when they blow up but for now I’m even more tempted to see what happens when I kill it what do I get do I get a potato okay I got a green potato peel right I mean fair enough makes sense well that’s the only mob I’ve seen so far was that a oh there’s an Enderman over is that a potato Enderman no way dude did they drop eye of potato or whatever they’re called that would be sick okay hold on we actually need to whoa oh this is all gravel this is a completely different biome in the sound here are terrifying and what is this can I even break this I mean I can but ow something just reset my hey oh it’s a oh God it’s attacking me what the hell is this a potato Hive they got like little faces on them so do they not like it when I try to break them hold on I want to see what happens if I actually vicious potato okay I mean I guess that is an description of what I just encountered hold on do I can I turn my brightness up no it’s all the way bright it’s pretty dark here actually oh so that they just like occasionally attack things around them like what’s the deal here I don’t know I don’t know the The Sounds in this biome are still very freaky wait that almost looks like a potato peel am I crazy or does that look like a big block of block of lime potato peels oh oh well maybe I can’t turn them back into potato peels that’s unfortunate these might be useless then either way I’m very tempted to try my I mean you know what we have the potato peeler I’d say we could probably do it I’d say we could do it you know what you know what come here come here get scared and then come down here [ __ ] come down here [ __ ] tall [ __ ] tall [ __ ] how’s it feel how does it feel to be the tall guy idiot boom oh he dropped no okay dropped a normal ender pearl that’s cool I guess we can still get those here uh didn’t drop a peel oh no he dropped a black one okay cool huh God the noise in this biome what is with the noise it is freaky ah stop that all right I got to we got to keep moving wait is this is this a potato zombie I don’t think it is it looks like a different oh it gave me hunger wait is this just like a husk interesting yeah I don’t think that was a potato zombie I’m not sure what that was actually maybe it was a husk maybe it spawned in this here I guess I can see a biome we’re in hash oh okay yep totally makes sense what’s this biome Fields okay fair enough there’s a potato zombie come on say it say it there it is oh my God po they’re so funny I love them this biome that I’m in seems to be pretty huge I think this the fields biome we did see the uh the hash biome for a while but oh there’s a village over there that must be a new Village cool let’s go check it out gotten a decent amount of potato peel so we could probably make our armor already which is pretty sweet not seeing much else in the area here yeah let’s let’s make it over to that Village and see what’s up over there all right after a brief sleep we can freely explore the village now pretty nice and all what is this kind of curiosity potato pedicle of course where are these do these give off light a potato fruit cool oh and a oh a portal to the Overworld that’s kind of interesting actually is this just a poisonous potato it is huh you know what let’s check this out is this just going to take me to a different Overworld Village because that would be interesting that means we could potentially check this Village as well wait no this is the village we entered oh okay well never mind I guess we can’t Village hop then that’s kind of unfortunate either way you gross Overworld don’t like don’t like take me back take me back please I don’t like it oh much better wait wait we’re back at the oh we’re back at home base Village interesting well hey I guess you know that that’s kind of annoying in a way cuz it ended my adventure but I think something we could take from this even more so is that uh we can get a free teleport back to base anytime we find a village God I want to be able to mine you so bad okay either way let’s go back up to our Hut and uh hopefully we should be able to build armor now the potato armor I believe oh [ __ ] what the hell I didn’t even what man this this has been right here and I had just had no idea you know what I’m just going to oh is this potato Stone what kind of potato stone is this I don’t even know either way I’m going to break this we’re going to make some obsidian I don’t have a diamond pickaxe actually I don’t have a diamond pickaxe maybe I should make a portal like the speedrunner way cuz I was thinking we need blaze rod for the hammer so we maybe have to build a nether portal and I also kind of want to see what happens when you build a nether portal in the potato Dimension you know what I’m saying that sounds interesting to me sir can you leave my house thank you got a bunch of ters done hell yeah that’s what we’re talking about now what do we need for these actually two poisonous potatoes six skins oh I have a bundle that’s right I can use bundles with rabbit hide okay never mind and then okay so we need four poisonous potatoes and then for this we just need that Blaze Rod H then you can dye them all the different colors right so got to hunt the Phantoms right right right okay still on top of what we got to do let’s grab our ters all but one of our ters and now we’ll do [ __ ] what was it it was this right this and then these boom baby and then the other one was this no it was this no it was this hell yeah okay let’s see how much armor this actually gives us what I’m sorry does it give us none it’s not changing my armor bar at all I uh okay well now I’m confused cuz it didn’t change my armor at all so hopefully I guess at this point I’ll just hope they have a like a secret hidden protection value maybe they protect me from potato attacks maybe I honestly don’t know either way let’s just dump a bunch of stuff in here we have the vicious potato which I have no idea what I can do with this thing um perhaps I’ll just set it up as a little bit of a uh burglar deterrent you know what let’s put to uh there good boy all right well that’s our pet now so that’s cool that’s fun Andy too as the old heads might say let’s throw all of you in there you in there and now what I guess here wait we have a bucket we have two obsidian already I think I found that in a blacksmith chest and then do we have a flint and steel we have a flint but no steel interesting how do we break the blocks here man do I need like diamonds is it is it is Diamond level tools what I need that would be unfortunate that would be very here come here come here you come here come here I want to fight you come here oh never mind I guess perhaps for now okay perhaps for now we should just keep exploring because maybe we’ll find like a tool if not I guess I’ll assume wait just out of curiosity just out out of curiosity is this any good at breaking um where’s the stone you know I I’ll bring this with me oh sticky oh I see can you stop I’m investigating a a new occurrence excuse me sir excuse me interesting so it blocked our fall damage and gave me the sticky effect so they just block one Dam damage okay huh I don’t really get it but I I don’t get their usefulness I mean oh oh my God I was right it is a hoe dude I’m so smart I’m my brain is enormous dude you have no idea bro and now we can get iron hell yeah okay yeah yeah yeah let’s keep exploring I can Harvest all the beautiful ore that we see now and I guess I don’t know the armor doesn’t seem that useful I guess I’ll go make myself some more um shoes before I leave but they’re just going to disappear as soon as I take fall damage they’re not going to be around for very long I’m just going to say it how it is I take fall damage all the time how’d you get stuck in here oh wait they have oh they have sugarcane here too sick let’s go okay you know what we’re just going to turn this into um okay you can stay there I guess we’re going to turn this into a sugar cane Farm uh um as much as we can I guess perhaps all right you know what let’s just get rid of this we can put this somewhere else perhaps I don’t know if this potato fruit thing gives off light or not uh but I can also take these brilliant unless like does the hoe no the hoe is not better for everything the axe is definitely better for that okay that’s at least something but here let’s put that there I do want to be able to make some maps like if I can make really big Maps I guess you need to build a cartography table if I can do that yeah so if I could build some really big maps that would be cool I think also if I could get saddles that would be really cool I think either way I’m going to go up make some new boots throw this stuff away and then yeah we’re going to keep exploring and we’re going to find some ore baby oh yeah what wait I’m so hungry I could eat my shirt what oh okay so the boots protect you from Fall damage and then the shirt you ever so often eat to nourish your hungry little self okay wow but it doesn’t give me any armor dude that sucks that sucks did I just eat more of it I did man I mean I don’t have a ton of armor yet so or kind of iron or anything so I guess I’ll keep it for now but I do think I’m going to switch iron armor as soon as I can this does not seem worth it oh [ __ ] and I just immediately immedi I jumped down from there cuz I just forgot I even had the shoes and I immediately used them that sucks dude wait did I did this spawn when I land oh that’s funny oh it gives me the sticky effect what does sticky do oh oh I can climb up walls wait a minute okay okay okay okay this is cool so I have boots that turn you into Spiderman you know what you know what okay okay I’m going to make another pair wait I don’t have any poisonous potatoes left though can I get some out of this oh I can okay cool I’m going to make oh that’s one of those unfortunate I’m going to try to make another pair but this time I’m just going to like keep them on Me Maybe I don’t know that doesn’t really sound useful maybe I’ll just make some iron boots hold on what the [ __ ] is okay that’s my review I remember I perhaps could I could I see it right now perhaps where is H I don’t see Flo any anywhere in here so maybe not interesting though so you can make something out of this maybe I’ll grab some oh god oh it’s all slimy oh I guess this is the poisonous part of the potato huh interesting I also see some like fish looking things down there so I guess we’ll go down there next but I’m going to grab some of let me grab one did we get one not yet all right now if I remember the Hot Potato was that yes indeed and then we do this and five of those gives us a flotator interesting so is this going to like float me if I’m on top of it okay no um does it need like a redstone signal maybe that’s kind of what I’m feeling can I make a button out of this no okay hold on hold on we can make a button uh or a lever perhaps might even be better Tater Stone this is terod right what’s is there another Stone gravitator maybe maybe I’m going crazy either way can I make a lever out of this no I do have bucket actually get some of this uh Gunk whatever it is there is also just slime blocks here I guess I could grab a few of those perhaps oh [ __ ] [ __ ] forget how fast these things break there we go it’s so in depth light great potato peels okay so we can aha we can right click on the potato peel blocks to peel them with the peeler okay well that’s at least something that’s going to be pretty handy uh that does mean we can make infinite of the boots and the chest plate not that that’s really useful like at all so you guys I don’t think these are potato themed unless let’s see let’s see how many hits it takes that was quite a few hits so I don’t actually know which one did more damage the sword or the peeler oh there’s a skeleton down there wait was that another one oh [ __ ] there is kill me son of a [ __ ] what is that thing’s problem well I lost my levels that’s not that big a deal should just be able to run over and grab my stuff again huh I I will say though I’m a little perplexed as to uh that is Handy actually having the mashed potatoes stay there that’s handy um yeah a little perplexed as far as how to kill those things best cuz I hit it with a couple times with an iron sword after and that also didn’t kill it that time so I don’t know I don’t know either way let’s hopefully I can just get my stuff back and no harm no foul other than losing 17 levels unfortunately okay well I made it back seems like pretty much everything is uh here at least so I think we’re pretty much fine let me just oh there are a lot of those things though so I’m not really looking to stick around uh I do want to kill more of them but let me at least get my bearings first if I can okay uh let’s see just throw that all away let’s do this this this this this H not those actually and this and this okay um we did get a toxic beam can I use that for something hopefully oh oh this a lashing potato poisonous potato block oh cool there might actually be some of those out in the field so I guess if I find one I could probably also make one if I get enough poisonous potatoes oh but I need a crafting table so we’ll see we’ll see either way let’s see if I can kill funny [ __ ] dude give me two seconds brother oh the potato bat died sorry boy there’s a spawner over there is that worth going after if it’s a goddamn cave spider spawner then that does suck how much how many blocks do I have not many okay so if I go down there I’m pretty much committing you know what I’m going to grab some blockage just so we can at least hopefully get our way out of there once we uh actually get down there all right well got some blockage I do think this is pretty much as good of a place as ever to use my potatoes beautiful beautiful oh hey buddy get back Fiend I don’t want to deal with you and I don’t want you to blow up this nice little area down here there are some mine tracks so uh could make a little roller coaster at some point a potato coaster if you will a toaster coaster oh I do wonder what’s going to happen if I fall again um like is it going to give me the cut scene again with the poem or like w I am interested all right you know what let’s go check out that spawner cuz it could maybe not be a cave spider I’m kind of envisioning a potato cave spider um and the rest of that it does actually get pretty big there’s a decent amount of mobs and stuff I don’t know if there’s going to be any unique loot here is kind of the problem like I’m trying to look for stuff that’s actually going to progress our game forward which I don’t even know what that specifically is at this point I mean like other than you know diamonds to get better armor and stuff cuz I do think I feel like we’ll want at least full diamond to go after the B boss maybe I’m crazy who knows I don’t I certainly don’t oh God you’re a normal cave spider okay okay not even potato form that does kind of suck in that case let’s try to light this bad [ __ ] up as fast as we can we’ll get a bit of string from this could make a bow I suppose not that I have a particular a particular amount of arrows that I can really uh throw out hold on do that do that do that boom well we have a spider spawner locked down that’s kind of cool Hello potato I wonder if they like are anything special also what does this do what does this do clouded Clarity fishy impurities dude I have that is that is crazy I was not expecting anything as anything close to as convoluted as that item name that we literally just read I guess I’ll explore around this thing for a while but honestly I don’t know I kind of feel like maybe going to a new biome could be our best bet currently I don’t know I’ll at least do this for a little while we can get some monster loot I suppose is uh is something okay I don’t know if we could get a potato dis that’d be kind of hype oh he’s actually hanging in like the perfect spot where did the skeleton go God damn it that was going to be the perfect opportunity to oh God I feel like I’m so going to fall here I’m actually terrified one skeleton shot is all it theoretically takes or one zombie hit for that sake you know what you know what I don’t think I don’t think there’s anything nah what are the chances there’s anything unique down here I don’t think so nah looks pretty Samy to me okay I’m a little scared I’ll admit it but let’s just for now um oh I can swim my way out of here that’s nice at least uh assuming that this is going to work C there there we go all right I’m going to swim my way out and yeah I think we should just keep exploring the surface for a while I don’t know what else we’re going to find wait there’s something wait I see blue there is that a diamond holy [ __ ] I also see something glowing down there okay new objective get those two things if that’s Diamond that’s huge cuz if we can find diamond here I mean it’s j for the potatoes I’ll say that much oh I was trying to find my way to those other ores and I found some down here let’s see if this dude that’s something crazy let’s see if this can be mined oh I guess I need hoe okay did work ah it’s the same thing as okay it’s toxic resin eventual Clarity air bubble impurities okay so a different type of toxic resin one we got from I think it was from killing the fish and then the other one we have just gotten from the ground so still definitely don’t know what to do with those but guess we’ll figure it out um this is the walk wall this face that I’m on right now is the face that the oh there it is Ah hell yeah soon as I start talking again I find it I will take that sick that doesn’t actually really look like diamond so I guess we’ll see what it is it is diamond oh sick dude okay well we have our first two diamonds so that’s pretty [ __ ] Epic uh not that two is going to do a ton for us but hey maybe I’ll make a diamond sword maybe I’ll make a enchantment table if I’m feeling a little bit crazy a little bit kooky I guess three diamonds for a diamond pick is probably uh ultimately what is going to be best but we’ll see we’ll see what we end up doing with it now to get the other uh what is it toxic resin yes the other one was down here somewhere oh oh God okay buddy okay chill out Brother Bear there it is hell yeah let’s see if this is the same as the other one we mined it’s not abysmal Clarity and then air bubble impurities okay so it has the same impurities but then another different Clarity this is insanely indepth by just the the somewhat surface look that I am getting right now I mean we’re starting to dig a little bit beneath the surface especially compared to last episode but still this is uh shocking in a variety of ways to to say the least I guess um my inventory is getting a little bit full but I think we can keep exploring a bit so I’m going to swim back all the way up and then I guess I’ll kind of just get as high as I can and see if we can see anything from a high point of view there’s a lot of these hanging things down here so there’s clearly no shortage of M shaft mine hang to explore if we ever need to do that I guess oh uh here we go let’s climb up here and then I guess I’ll see if I can make my way even higher yeah okay okay well I’m in another new biome and this one interestingly is called corruption Biome Minecraft corruption which is definitely interesting I wouldn’t say there’s anything too corrupt about this biome oh these are the fruits huh what can I do with these can I like eat these I want to do something with you but I just don’t know what maybe they do glow at night and I just haven’t actually noticed yet oh that’s just a straight up beehive and a witch okay I’m going to run away from the witch beehive is kind of interesting can bees pollinate any of this stuff uh you know what I do need a lot of pot potatoes so I’m going to go around and farm some of that stuff down there so let’s just go see if we can fly over there okay okay not so bad I think this thing straight up just works like a normal elytra which you know I’m going to fly down here just for fun as well oh yeah it’s it’s straight up just an elytra oh sick dude well that’s a huge upgrade okay as sick as hell as that is it’s going and it’s going to make exploration way easier I also want to make this thing the lashing potato which we need a poisonous potato block which I’m pretty sure is just nine poisonous potatoes so yeah I’m going to go up to that potato area up there and farm the [ __ ] out of some potatoes which is also good because I do want to make a big old potato house and I want to make it out of baked potato bricks so we’re going to need a lot of potatoes what is that what is that there’s like a big wall of leaves up here okay I just like potato skipped I’ve also seen a couple more lava pools so we are in no shortage of lava either let me just grab some of this stuff and pull my way up here because what is this it’s like a big wall of leaves right next to the oh wait is this a straight up maze no way why is there a maze underneath my Village is there an end to the maze perhaps I guess let’s see huh yeah as far as I can tell this is just a maze with no like end or anything so I don’t know that’s my official verdict I have no idea I also still have no idea what to use wait how do you break these maybe there’s not even a good tool how to use the potato fruit either I feel like there’s got to be some way we can use this either way I don’t know let me uh get my way back up there and yeah time to farm some potatoes all right didn’t take too long just harvested that many potatoes and we got nine poisonous potatoes as well as three more of the plants which I don’t think there’s any reason to collect more than uh one of these devious little bastards but I think I’m just going to throw them the chest with the other ones I don’t know just to see I mean they’re clearly doing something devious sitting in that chest I think I don’t think there was any more notes since I got back from my Venture but I don’t I mean I still got to keep a close eye on them obviously here let’s see yeah still four I’m going to throw you guys in there with your brothers keep an eye on them we did get a lot of potatoes so I will get cooking these up maybe I will um build some smokers and and then we can smoke a shitload of these potatoes and really try to build a big old potato house either way we got nine so let’s do this beautiful with the toxic beam creates a lashing potato sick so is this like a oh um okay let me get away from my my home defense system It’s thing dude vanilla Minecraft who would have thought one day I’d be swinging around on a potato vine in a poisonous potato dimension in vanilla Minecraft I still frankly can’t get over it this whole update has been awesome I’m so here for it people have been talking about how like it feels like almost a bit of a a spit in the face sometimes to like what they could be actually adding to the game which I do somewhat agree like having an actual up an actual new dimension that’s this fully fleshed out in base Minecraft would be awesome it would feel weird I think but it would be be awesome it’s kind of undeniable so I I do see what those people are saying however I do think just them experimenting while and doing this on April fools no harm no foul in my book and this is awesome uh that this is going to be the end of the episode um I think I’m going to do another one it seems like you guys are liking the first one tell me if you want to see more for sure but we have not only the potato elytra but also the potato grappling hook which let’s just see if we can maybe get these things in a bit of a combo before we end the episode dude we can travel so far now this is really going to open this place up and then we do that and we stick oh and then we wait I’m still elytra I think is part of the problem maybe if I okay I can go down from here now it doesn’t seem like the the grappling potato what is it the lashing potato is that helpful for climbing I mean if I throw it up there oh okay it actually has quite a bit of slack to it interestingly but let’s throw it like up there and then I can like sit here okay it’s it’s useful for climbing for sure it’s going to take some getting used to I think but hey uh you know that’s okay it’s an advanced mechanic which is crazy maybe
