Want to talk about storage in Minecraft it doesn’t matter if your world is New or Old but storage is always a big pain in the butt to be honest So today we’re gonna talk about the best way to organize your chests in Minecraft and in doing so I’m gonna revamp my whole chest

Area because this room is just it’s too small it’s dated we gotta make a new chest room so today we’re talking about storage let’s go so as I briefly mentioned there are two ways to tackle storage depending on how old or how big your world is if you don’t have tons of

Items you can actually store a lot of different things in the same chests for example here’s a nature chest where I have all kinds of nature blocks in Minecraft and using only three or four chests I can store just about every single nature Block in the whole game

Which is great if you have the space for that but if you’re like me this doesn’t work too well anymore because I have so much stuff in these shulker boxes same thing with like ma blue I can put all different kinds of loot in a chest and

It actually fits in here pretty nicely but once again in my case if your world is old that’s not working too well anymore so now let’s talk about a superior system for storing items for one don’t have your chests going horizontal all these chests are for Cobblestone right well I could turn them

On their side like this and I could have even more space double to be exact I don’t want to say it over and over but just for one final time if your world isn’t as big as mine this kind system is okay but if you want to make more space

Do this well here comes the fun part replacing all the items back in their original chests oh boy now for all these horizontal chests I have two indicators a sign and an item frame but if you’re gonna go vertical you can only pick one personally I think item frames look a

Lot better for this but it really is up to you but I think this is just easier to navigate and to manage so as opposed to having a stone chest with all different kinds of stone we can do it like this having one chest for each kind

Of stone if I need more chest space I simply just put two of the same blocks there okay I’m stalling I just gotta do this ah it’s so much Stone all right I’ll be back shortly now one thing you might not know that’ll help you out a lot when you’re doing your Renovations

Is you can actually click all one kind of block into a chest with just one click so let’s say I want this chest here to be all full of stone so if you want to move all your inventory Stone into the chest do this put one spot of

Stone into your chest pick it back up hold shift then click three times hovering over another piece of stone so one two three and look at that all the stone goes in I wish someone taught me this years ago but they didn’t so yeah I’m teaching you you’re welcome all

Right update time it’s been about an hour and a half it’s definitely only taking its time but the progress is coming along and check out this almost finished first half of the room so I have like all my building blocks here all my Stones all my Woods I’ll put some

More blocks over there as well but check this out color coding the floor this is a great idea for you if you want more clarity in your chest room use carpet on the floor to tell where the stones are using light gray where the wood is using

Brown it’s such a helpful thing for your eyes I love it and also one more update inside of all these chests I have a very specific organization pattern so let’s look at stone brick I have about three and a half layers full of actual blocks

Then I have walls or fences that I have stairs that I have slabs and I’m doing this for all the blocks it applies to like for example I have drip Stone here where I can’t do that I have bricks where there’s like more stuff so it’s a

Little bit different but overall I want to be like uniform and neat oh God there’s so many extra chests now all over the floor this is just all extra junk that used to be in these old chests oh God but no complaining this must be

Done so back to work we go alright three days later we are done Yes you heard me correctly the rest of the video was recorded three days ago this took me three extra days to finish this there was a lot of items more than I thought

But I did it so we got all our Stones over here we got our Woods we got our grass and dirt variants we got our colorful blocks like glass and Terra Cotta over here we got some miscellaneous blocks we got nether stuff and stuff a bunch of naturey blocks once

Again it’s all color coded so it looks amazing I also put some workstations around the place just to make it look a little bit uh busier in here hang some Banner hung some banners I guess you’d say then down below we got all our tools

Our gear our armor we got a little bit of mob Loot and gems we got hostile model over here now here’s the fun part ready we had extra space so this is gonna be my shulker shell rack for the time being and as new blocks come out

I’ll put more chests in but for now shocker shells all in the neat organized fashion now there are still some chests here that need to be cleaned up but honestly I’m just out of time I have to get this episode out very shortly in

Real life so I don’t have time to do all this now but in the future I will clean up all these chests so don’t worry but all in all things look great also wait there’s something really cool we missed out on there was a secret chest over

Here labeled like chicken loot now why I had a chest just for chicken is beyond me but I forgot about it I looked inside and there was so much cooked chicken and I was so low on food before this so I’ve been blessed by the chicken Gods now one

Thing I also want to do is I kind of want to put a trash can around here I might move this ender chest and put like a cacti back here because I have a lot of junk that I don’t know what to do with so I might just throw it out let’s

See how good my storage system is I need sand so go to the nature area and grab sand need cacti so go to the tall crops area cacti grab a trapdoor from the wooden decorations where’s trap doors oh down here with the doors makes sense and

I’m gonna slide back down here and put a little trash can in the back so I’ll go like this I’ll go like this and like this and put like a trapdoor on top because I think I’m gonna put one there it’ll break the cacti yes it will I

Think you can make like a redstone uh trash can but I don’t want any more Redstone here it’s already laggy enough so this is fine for me but now if I got trapped with this piece of wood I Chuck it and it goes away nice well with this

Being all done it’s time for a very important celebration disco break in the chest room if you’re new don’t ask questions just roll with it this chest room looks sick I’m so proud of myself and my time investment well with that out of the way it’s time to go

Well here we are arriving back home and guys something I’ve been thinking about recently in this world is I really want to have another big build somewhere whether it be something like the church or like that Tower or not even the tree that’s a little too big for me but I

Want to make another like Grand build in this world so if you guys have any cool ideas for like a kingdom themed Grand build let me know because I’ve been making tons of like these kind of houses like small to medium houses that they’re like a shop or something like it has

Some practical use but it’s not like super important like this is my minor shop where we sell like gems and auras and stuff which it is really cool but I want like again like a really big massive build I mean I say that but I also plan on moving out of this Kingdom

When 1.18 comes out so maybe not I’m kind of just talking to myself right now maybe I won’t do a big project but but regardless I just want to get this Kingdom all finished up if you guys are new this is my five-year-old Minecraft world and literally there’s just so much

Stuff in here so many buildings so much activity but we’re not done yet like we still have all this open space here by the church and there’s some back here on this side of the Kingdom I just need to fill up all these open gaps to complete

Yeah that’s fine sure I’m stealing you too like I know it causes so much lag during these videos hopefully you guys don’t notice it that much but gosh I just love having all these mobs and animals just living around my kingdom it just adds so much immersion to the place

And so much liveliness I think I’ll make a separate video for this topic talking about how to make your world more lively and just more enjoyable in general but I think mobs are such a big part of that like passive mobs in particular that’s why Minecraft has to add Birds imagine

Like birds up in the trees making nests and chirping and we got like bugs and stuff crawling around and like squirrels imagine that that’d be so sick come on Minecraft step it up I’m kidding I know they’re busy with updates I’m not I’m it’s a joke it’s a joke please don’t
