What’s up my name is technobo here for troubleshoot and welcome back to another video so with a brand new minecraft launcher comes brand new issues though this one you’ll find solutions for that only apply to the older versions if you come across an area that looks like this Unable to update the minecraft native launcher while trying to launch up the new minecraft launcher from the microsoft store there was a lot of launches in that this is a video that you’re looking for on how to fix that it’s incredibly simple and by the end of it you should have a Working minecraft once again so first of all when you’re installing the minecraft launcher from the microsoft store you need to make sure that the previous minecraft launcher is uninstalled so if you hit start type in minecraft you should only see the new minecraft launcher not the old minecraft Launcher as well i of course have minecraft and minecraft dungeons but they’re unrelated when you uninstall the normal java minecraft launcher you should be able to open up the new minecraft launcher from the microsoft store however if you’re still receiving the issue all you have to do is uninstall And reinstall the microsoft store minecraft launcher hit start and open up these settings or of course you can do this through the control panel head into apps and simply search for minecraft locate the minecraft launcher and simply uninstall it though do keep in mind you shouldn’t have the other minecraft Launcher here as well if you do uninstall that now when you do uninstall this new minecraft launcher head back to the microsoft store and or the xbox app wherever you downloaded the minecraft launcher from and open it up once again after downloading it from here it should be Working properly now of course if you don’t know how to download the minecraft launcher check the description down below and if you’d like to transfer across all of your profiles versions and logged in accounts also check the description down below for a video on how to do so but let’s say that you’re Still experiencing issues what can we do well from now uninstall the normal minecraft launcher if you haven’t already and uninstall the microsoft store minecraft launcher hold start and press r and inside of the run dialog box type percentage app data percentage and hit enter upon doing so a new window Should open and we can open dot minecraft if you don’t see any folders in that folder or nothing opens up open up a file explorer head across to view at the very top and make sure that hidden items is checked upon doing so open up this folder here c users your Username appdata roaming dot minecraft and will simply backup this entire folder so i’ll head up one folder and simply rename dot minecraft to dot minecraft 1. then we’ll try and install the minecraft launcher from the microsoft store once again and upon firing it up it should work properly if It does awesome you can try closing it out completely heading back to this app darter roaming folder and simply swapping things around once again so you’ll have a new.minecraft simply name it save store and move back the original one dot minecraft upon doing so you should be able to fire up the minecraft Launcher once again this time with things working properly that’s the most simple way of getting things done now from this point on there’s not too many tips i can give you about this from many years ago you’ll find tons of information about fixing the unable to update the minecraft native launcher Though this one’s targeted specifically at the one from the microsoft store so that’s about it for this video if you’re still having issues i do wish you luck and it’s probably a solution from any other video out there that’s not specifically targeted to the microsoft store so once again thank you all for Watching my name has been taken over here for troubleshoot and i’ll see you all next time ciao Video Information
