Hello and welcome back to another episode of foxy hotels microsoft adventures here in my survival world and today we’re going to get straight to it no messing about i’m going to add someone to my tree of life and then we are going straight to building because

We’ve got a lot to do today and today is redstone and it’s it’s rather rather complicated uh if you didn’t watch my last video we are building a shop uh i suggest you go back and watch it so you’ve got some idea of what we’re

Doing um so yeah today into my tree of life i am adding olivia bird because she said that i am the coolest youtuber oh sorry i am the yeah the coolest youtuber ever so uh that’s nice to hear so uh yeah if you want to find yourself on my tree of life then

Yeah then tell me something nice and you just might make it and there’s some zombie flesh there i don’t want that cluttering up my inventory thank you very much right um so this is my shop outside of the video i did a little bit of work on

The structure i haven’t done this front but yet but we’ll worry about that uh another time and i’ve dug out a big hole underneath and basically what happens is you go in here armor’s going to be in there you’re going to press that button there and you will suddenly be dressed

In armor and an order that well that bit will work that’s okay that works that that’s fine what we’re going to do is we’re going to have uh these four chests here are then going to be we’re going to put our armor back in there and they’re

Going to make their way back into the dispensers uh via lots and lots of droppers and hoppers so uh yeah with let’s get straight to it so we’ve got three hoppers already we’re going to need more than that so let’s grab some acacia wood or how i have no idea how

You say this this particular wood type but well i like using this for chests and things because i don’t really like the wood itself but i’ve got loads of it so uh yeah let’s let’s make a load of chests and with those chests we can make some more

Hoppers so where is my iron uh it is in there so let’s grab my iron and let’s um i think to be honest we only need another uh one hopper for now we we need four on each side i’m only going to concentrate on one side of the build this time uh in

This episode because otherwise yeah it’s very complicated you’ll see so now we need a load of droppers and droppers are very easy to make they’re basically cobblestone which i should have quite a lot of in here and redstone so let’s grab some redstone and we need absolutely tons of

These so let’s just make as many as we can and that’s not going to be enough but we’ll let oh sorry i’ve done that wrong uh like that so may oh have i made yeah i’ve made droppers i was worried i’d make dispenders then but i don’t

Have arrows on me so i kind of done right let’s make a few more of those like that and like that and uh yeah so so it’s basically going to be hoppers and dispensers that make this work and the way it’s going to work if we go

Downstairs i’ve made a little way to so we can get downstairs down here oh hello hello no we don’t want you in here thank you very much rachel i missed oops oh well uh we’ve got some more room room in the room yeah so uh so that’s how that

Back bit works so this bit is basically we’ll start on this hopper this chest here we have two hoppers coming out um so i’ll just do that to make life a bit easier and they’re gonna go this way like this okay so that those hoppers are gonna go into each other so when

Something goes in the chest they’re gonna go through through those two hoppers and i’m just gonna cheat a little bit and look at my design because i can’t really remember what’s supposed to happen at this point and then yes okay so we’re gonna have to pile up

So then we’re gonna have a dropper like this facing upwards so that’s going to be activated to fire then into another hopper that is going to stick out sideways so if we go out there like that this hopper is going to sit like that sorry not hopper dropper and that is

Going to make its way round into there so we need one uh let’s just run it around like this uh so we’ve got something to build on and let’s stick that there so we’ve got something to build on so we’ll have one there going into that one this one’s

Going to face this way going to there and that one’s going to face that way going to there and then that can then just basically go into there so that’s going to feed that dispenser there and then for the other one it will drop back down again similar

Sort of thing um so we need some more dirt to make that work so we’ve got two hoppers uh droppers hoppers hoppers and droppers i’m getting very confused going that way and this time this one’s going to go up higher uh like so let’s get rid of that there like

That and we just need something underneath it to pop it on so that’s going to go there and this one’s going to go up up up up like that i think let me just check no i’m wrong i’ve done it wrong already this isn’t going well right that oh it’s already

Gone into that dropper hopper which is then gone into that dropout droppers and hoppers uh so yeah that’s going to go to there like that and then it’s going to come i think it does need to go up another one i’m sure it needs to go up another one

The fact let’s just let’s just simplify this let’s let’s go up another one and then we’ll come out like this and then we’ll go out this way so let’s build up the dirt so we can we’ve got something to build on and this is going to come all the way

Around the outside here like this until it gets over to there so we can go one two three four and we need to be able to activate all of these so let me just think about this so this is gonna have to come round the outside of these here like so four

Five six seven and then we’ll have a hopper basically facing into there so we need one more dropper i can’t believe we we nearly we nearly had enough so let’s uh hop back downstairs go back to our crafting table and we’ll make one more dropper and then we need another hopper so

Uh yeah so we’ll get a chest for our hopper and we’ve got enough here for our dropper and uh you can make a game out of that how many times am i gonna say hopper and dropper in this episode probably quite a lot i would imagine so a hopper like that

Let’s get orion back and a dropper and let’s go and put these in here like so one two three four five i can’t get up any higher i’m stuck i’m stuck six uh i’m going to build across now because i haven’t i haven’t left myself enough headroom here right so another dropper

There and this hop is going to go into there so that will fill the top one up so we can get rid of all of this dirt now because we don’t need any of this and what we’ve got to then do is link these up so that they are activated but we don’t

Want them going off all the time because it will make a horrendous noise we only want them to go off when there is something in one of these hoppers and the way we do that it with is with some clever stuff um derek’s clever stuff uh yes uh so

I’m gonna use wood for this because i i like to do my redstone on wood because then i know where it goes so i’m gonna put some water underneath that hopper dropper there and then that’s going to come out this way and same with this one here so one two that way

And what we’re going to do is going to put some comparators in front of the hoppers uh the droppers the first droppers so that when the hoppers automatic because they work automatically anyway they don’t need any redstone have i got any nether quartz in here no have i got any nether quartz anywhere

This could be a problem i might have turned it all into actual quartz blocks in which case we’re going to have a bit of an issue so let’s uh let’s just go and check my uh storage room ah what am i doing wrong button and let’s see if we’ve got any uh nether

Quartz in there because yeah we need to make some comparators so that the comparator basically knows when the when it’s got something in it and it can work from that and have i got any on no please don’t tell me i haven’t got any no this is not good i’ve got another

Glowstone in there have i got any what it would be any in my potion room do you need another quartz for any potions oh this is bad potion room oh and i put a load of nether water in my potion room so i can grow that no there’s none in

There right i’m gonna go to the nether very quickly um and then i’ll cut back into the episode once i’ve got a little bit another course i don’t need much i only need a couple of pieces so i might actually just be able to do this very very quickly um

Yeah while we’re in the video without cutting your head come on come on come on come on come on right into my wonderful nether and uh yeah right there’s another quartz just up there look so we’ll we’ll grab some of that and i can hear a guest i don’t really

Want a guest to come and visit so that’s one two there just get a few more of those let’s hopefully not get killed by lava and one there a little bit up there so yeah we’ve got 12 nether quartz that should be plenty let’s go go go back to uh my

Main world the overworld whatever it’s called and let’s go and make some comparators i can’t believe i used all my nether quartz that was a little bit of an oversight uh not to worry not to worry i thought i was prepared obviously i’m not as prepared as i thought i was

So uh yeah and it’s becoming nighttime already oh my goodness these videos go so fast uh when you’re when you’re busy all right so we need some stone and we need some redstone torches and uh we only need two of these at the moment so

We’ll go one two three one two three uh one two and stone there we go and we’ve got some redstone comparators and we also need some repeaters we’ll take those and we’ll take some normal redstone and let’s go and put these where we want them so

Piling up again as we do where’s my dirt oh god i’ve only got one piece of dirt okay we’ll use another rack because that’s easy to get rid of a one two three and uh yeah so we have a comparator here uh where are they they are i’ve got loads of dirt there

No i can’t place it uh hmm yeah that’s annoying okay what we’ll do is we’ll just come round the side of it like that and then hopefully we can get it facing the right direction one there yep and one there and in front of those we’re gonna have a repeater like so and

You’ll see why all of this is not there there and there and you’ll see yeah soon hopefully why all of this has to be like this and i have worked it all out it does work i’ve probably massively over complicated it to be perfectly honest but uh

It works so that’s the main thing and now we need to to make a we need to go back up here again oh i’m chucking it down everywhere and what this is doing this is basically a little bit of a redstone contraption that says if that dropper’s got

Something in it’s going to activate the signal and if that one’s got something it’s going to activate the signal and all you have to do to do that is i want some redstone across the top of it like this and i think it’s a redstone torch on the other side um

I need to look at my diagrams i have printed them all out so that i uh i know what i’m doing so let me just look very quickly yes it is so it’s a redstone torch on the back there like that and then let’s say there’s something in that one

There the redstone torch will go off because the comparators aren’t the same if i put something in that one there the redstone torch will go off and that’s going to activate uh lots and lots of redstone below this so now all we need to do is bring

This system down here uh so let’s build out uh let’s go out that way and let’s get rid of those do and we will dig into the wall a little bit there because we need to bring the redstone signal right down into this bottom bit here um

Yeah in fact let’s go this way so go one two to there and we can bring that redstone down like this so when it’s active um it’s it’s going to be basically dud and then does that make sense i know i know what i’m talking about uh just just watch

Just watch i can’t explain it it’ll be fine i’ll skip ahead and see see what it all looks like when it’s finished so going one two three to here and then around the corner there and then we’re going to have a block here like this and then this block has got a

Repeater in front of it like that so that it’s active and then this repeater is basically going to have um that’s going to have a redstone torch on it there and that’s going to go there so right that redstone repeater wants to go that way like that so then when the redstone

Signal is broken like this that’ll turn on you see so we’ve got a redstone clock there and then when the redstone’s active it it disables it so that’s how that bit works there and then we just have a big redstone clock going this way like this so um we go one

Let me see if i can remember this two three four five and so then some redstone dust and then one two and then some redstone dust and then another three this way one two three and all of these won’t pull him right back like this so we’ve got a big delay and

This will just basically this is just a clock then that will get activated that will keep all of the hoppers opening and closing and then at that point we have a block of wood there with the redstone torch underneath it like that and then a rough block of wood above

That one there with a redstone torch on the top oh i’ve done this in slightly the wrong place i think oh no i haven’t no that’s fine like that and then we have a redstone uh another block there so when that redstone torch is active that will activate that block which will activate

Those two hoppers we’re getting there we’re getting there slowly but surely so then back up to the top again if we can get back up there can you no i can’t get up okay uh dirt then we’ll hop up here like this and then at the top of this

He says if i can get to it i can’t get to it oh this there’s too many no i’m making a mess there’s too too many uh bits of building in my way right there we go so another block of wood another redstone torch sorry on there and then another block of wood

Above that like that and then we’re just going to basically run redstone dust all around the tops of these like this uh all the way to the end there and same thing here all over there like that so that’s all active now um hopefully hopefully fingers crossed this should work so if i

Put uh let’s put a piece of dirt into this hopper here like that oh yeah so that should have gone through into that dropper which hasn’t activated it that’s there we go it’s now can you hear it clicking it’s clicking away and that should be sending it all the way into

Is it the other dispenser uh into one of the dispensers so let’s go to the top and see if it’s made it through um i can’t remember which one i put it in so the top one yeah it goes through to this top one here so it should be

In there no it’s not either i’ve done it wrong i’ve done it wrong i am trying to do this from memory to a point and i did build this uh a long long time ago so where did it get to so i put it in that one so

How far did it get no i don’t want to place a block let’s see if we can get over a little bit closer to it and find out where exactly it is it might just be that i’ve got one of my dispensers facing the wrong way so uh

Let’s have a look in there not in that one well and he’s falling down again wow this is going well it’s not in there is it it’s not any of those still is it i definitely put it in there so it’s it’s gone a little bit of the way around oh

Dear dear dear i’m sorry about this everyone i am so sorry i will get there in the end right let’s figure out where it is is it that one no no no did it get into it no i don’t want to look at the redstone i want to look in the hopper

The dropper one of them let’s build around the side here this is so awkward is it in there no there no there no there no is it in the hopper oh it’s in the hopper so why hasn’t it gone through the hopper into the dispenser because that last piece of redstone there

Uh it cancels out the hopper that stops it working so there we go the the hopper should now allow it to go through no still not working uh let’s take that one away from there what about now there we go so now it is in that dispenser so if we put one in

The bottom one will it work so we put it in there then it should start counting any second now you can see the redstone clock’s working down there so one two three four five six seven so let’s go back out into there and it should now be in the bottom dispenser

Should we see is the bottom dispenser there it is so it does work so all i’ve got to do now is replicate that the other side which i’ll do outside of the video i’m sorry that this was a bit of an awkward long-winded uh video and it

Was uh very complicated if you’re not into redstone or anything like that then please uh obviously just skip through for another couple of videos and uh yeah hopefully i’ll be doing something a little less complicated and a little bit more uh that that may seem like i know what i’m doing

But yeah it works so all i’ve got to do now is just make it a little bit prettier do this side and then that’s job done so i will say as usual thank you all very much for watching uh please do leave a like send me a comment uh if
