Hermitcraft IX 1110 Withers, Redstone, Wings & Chaos!

Oh that’s right my friends today’s episode is a treat something rather special you see this past week I’ve been unable to get on hermitcraft and play like normal I have been busy building a new computer and then doing all of those tedious things installing the applications transferring across data making sure

Everything works correctly and I can report that it does it’s working like a charm which is wonderful but it just so happened in this week where I didn’t think I’d be making a hermitcraft episode there were loads of events going on on the server and so I have a lot to

Loops back in a weird way and um we actually end up at the tower at the very bottom of the minecart behind you that’s where you’ll end up that’s sort of the aim end up back yeah back there you should be able to see there’s like a a hoop on

The right hand side of it that’s what that’s the last tweet basically and I think there’s like 25 or so roughly wait do you want to follow me or should I let you guys go you should probably lead the way because you’ll know the terms yeah yeah I’ll go kind of slow

Um but you can see the first two Hoops so hopefully we can at least at the beginning right I’m jumping off now all right okay this is and they’re all labeled with numbers as well that’s number one although the band is loading pretty slow this one’s a bit difficult number three

Is great and then wait Club there’s one now whoa that one was right there Quincy’s right down and then you just basically fly diagonally and then you go to the right here is this dude this is the hardest Arrow to see yeah that one I’m loving this Yeah that was sweet oh that’s pretty crazy that’s a wild that’s a wild I had a great idea while I was flying because I was thinking I I could see myself spending a lot of time trying to get good at this course you should open up a Rocket Shop here at the end

All right yeah if I had a farm yeah yeah that’s true um yeah and then you can actually just take the minecart up which is kind of kind of nice oh yeah a bit of flying I’m taking it I’m taking it yep off he goes let’s still take a minecart

Oh yeah those mine carts they’re friendly friendly creatures aren’t they they’re friendly creatures yeah oh this is amazing nice and quiet yeah how did you think like is it I guess there’s a couple of points where you’ve got a sort of really spot the arrow but

Yeah there were there were a couple of like Dives downwards that I only spotted because that’s what everyone else was doing oh yeah I sort of added those towards the end because um because it just they were just like the Hoops were just in a row basically and I

Was like that’s a bit boring so yeah if you can get if you have to go up and down quite quickly that’s quite a challenge and as people learn it as well it’ll be yeah yeah yeah so I think I’ll have everybody at least do it once and

Then properly race all together yeah that’s a good plan it’s a good point it’s a fun course though man do a speed run five oh three two one go oh yeah we’ve got to spam some Rockets here well that’s what they’re for where is it oh no I don’t remember

I’ve got a bottleneck right so I have two sources of input um this machine over here brings in shulker boxes and so it dispenses down through this boat into these hoppers and then I have another segment of like miscellaneous items coming in that’s not from shulker boxes but there’s like a

Bottleneck if you look at the um in here it’s not it’s not sorting very fast okay so I hope a minecart should pick up items really quickly from a container above it but it takes about nine items okay that time it went fast it took 33 then it took five

Oh I think I can see what might be causing this uh yeah I think I know what the issue is right so because it takes from the very first slot in the chest it means that quite often what’s in the very first slot is the latest thing

Coming in from a hopper yeah and the hopper transfers slow so therefore the minecart Hopper takes out the item slow and I have no idea if there’s a workaround for that uh actually I could probably build your work around hang on oh yeah okay I’ve got a little bit of an

Idea and then I spent the next 10 minutes in my Redstone test World figuring out a solution for scar one that kind of increases the efficiency of this process yeah yeah let’s take a look let’s take a look whiz over there oh my gosh what in the world

Oh yeah yeah it’s right up this looks like a game show kinda does yeah yeah here’s how here’s how it’s kind of easy to understand right if you open this book right it’s got page one so like okay page one is like weak signal strength which means not a lot of items

In the chest over here you’re ghosting page 12 which means lots of items in the chest because it’s a stronger signal so right now we don’t have a lot of items in the chest so it’s not going to lock the Hoppers and it’s going to let the

Items come in which is doing yeah while it’s in that state it’s going to have the same problem with the hopper Minecart right but eventually eventually it fills up all the way and that means that this bit over here gets activated remember this is strong signal strength

Because there’s lots of items in the chest yeah that’s 12 right and then then this one was one this piston will activate and the one over here won’t be active um and then the Redstone Block gets moved across and the Redstone wire here it then locks these hoppers right so

Then once the chest is full The Hoppers get locked and it’ll be able to take the items out fast again I get it I understand now okay okay and then that should be able to cycle through what’s in the chest yeah it’ll then drain outstand yeah it will drain out all of

Those items because there’s now Lots in there when there’s hardly any left remember this one is the low signal strength that’s when the um the block is going to be pushed back across and it’s going to unlock so then automatically yes oh that’s really cool

As a redstone genius I got all of that and I totally understand it like brilliant work um and but I I do understand so like in between the Minecarts when one comes down it takes items and then it only has time to maybe put like three or four in

The box and then it just takes that three or four and doesn’t do like a full stack of 16. yeah I’m spooky oh my God what happened to your face jeez oh man assuming you fixed it kinda I think what I’ve done I think what I’ve

Done is I’ve made it so half the time it runs like it was and the other half it will run as fast as it can so yeah I’ve definitely improved it I’ve improved it I’m working better after taking care of some Redstone skull was kind enough to give us an impromptu

Tour of scarland although he started off by trying to troll me and if you’ve been watching the recent episodes you’ll know that I wasn’t gonna fall for this one did you see this over here Zuma this is my new building I built this new one over here this one’s really cool oh yeah

Those on the different uh people walking around like this one’s got a stormtrooper backpack and somebody’s got like a puffer fish and a chicken one over there she is a true artist with this look at that look at this oh the cleaning lady cleaning up of course

Trying to do anything sometimes I forget about the beauty of just hanging out with our fellow Hermits but this next thing was something that I decided to put together you see I was watching efo’s episode where he introduced A New Concept for Gathering Cobble deep slate

Which you can’t instant mine but you can use Withers of all things as you saw in the intro so I had a couple of new ideas to introduce which was the use of ender chests and perhaps golden apples too and so I reached out to a few other Hermits

That had the Wither skulls and potions and so a group of us could get together and just uh have some fun with this whole concept and on the way to the location we picked out I got to see Cub fans extended tunnel which goes ridiculously far into the never and it

Has this like really nice compact design and I just wanted to show that off to you for a moment as I thought it was really cool all right everybody we are gathered together here to get married to get married someone else do they intro just throw it

Throw it out I’ll do the intro all right what’s happening all right we’re here to do something ridiculously stupid in the name of getting cobbled deep slate I think sure sure I think we’re more here together to have fun but IFA I’ll watch the video yeah yeah introduced A New

City yeah yeah that sounds really fun for you and you just pick up the drops behind them you use invisibility potions so they don’t see so you can see them the most sane way to get deep slight here yes yes of course yeah Yeah so basically this is gonna this is

Gonna turn into one of those clickbait videos you like 100 Withers versus 15 wardens who will win right that’s pretty much what’s happening here I’m gonna title my video how many times can Tango die yeah all right so we gotta we got a bed set

At our spawn here so yeah when we do die we come back to the base we got a drop shoot to get down to where we’re going to be doing the mining with the withers everybody’s got no gear on no nothing Zuma’s got some uh special items for

Here yes as well here yeah I brought I brought tons of vendor chests for us that’s I’ve watched a video and I thought oh wow that’s really cool like but is there is there a way it could be a little bit better maybe Ender chess could help and the other thing is uh

Bring bring them yeah like like if everything goes well here the the withers shouldn’t be shooting at us if they’ve if they start shooting at you it means you’ve messed up and you’re gonna die like no matter what you do you want to say like it’s five blocks away from

The withers if you get within five blocks they’ll see you okay okay yeah so don’t follow them if you’re invisible uh totems might be a good idea but we’re not sure yet so just this first run I’m gonna go without him I mean take one with you you don’t have to

Blocks I’m just this is so fascinating yay I’ve successfully put blocks into my under chest I’ve I’ve gone over a stack of Cobble deep sleep this is such an amazing message you were the chosen one [Laughter] have you done the detached cam to have like a little view from above you oh

Chest as well then then you have to start dealing with all those items coming back onto your hot bar it’s a shame there’s not something you could put on there that they don’t see leave this spot empty yeah yeah that’ll be so helpful it’s a lot easier to survive now though yes

Yeah you you don’t know what to do after a while way easier okay I am actually really starting to collect some Cobble I need to find an Ender Chest yeah and I didn’t even notice just hanging out in the chest a couple deep sleep it’s working it’s working

I I need to Die My Ender Chest has been cool for a while I I need to die oh you’re sh you’re showing us up now I’m struggling I’m struggling over here so at the end of chest is a good addition oh it’s not bad yeah the only problem is I

To go yeah what an amazing time that was one of the most fun things I’ve done this season and now I have a plan to build a tunnel Through The Never so we can get back to that location and I think all my live streams are gonna pop

Over there from time to time and have some fun getting my hands on some cobbled deep slate which I now feel like I need a reason to build with and I’ve been inspired lately I’ve got some ideas for projects and the season is going to continue at full force we’re gonna have
