Hidden Doors with the CREATE Mod!

Redstone has always been an integral part of minecraft but normal redstone pales in comparison with one single mod the create mod in this series i will be transforming one mansion from a normal minecraft build to a place filled with great mod contraptions just to show how awesome this mod is welcome

To part one yes we are standing in front of the create mansion in this place i am going to be creating some really cool stuff in the next coming uh weeks maybe i don’t know how long this will take it all really depends on how much you like the videos so um

Are a lot of rooms and stuff and possibilities to change with the great one now i know some of you watching and will not know what the create mod is i’m just gonna quickly show you some of the parts to it this is what the create mod adds

And it’s quite a lot of stuff and it seems you know it’s kind of overwhelming the first time you look at it kind of took me months to learn what i know now i still don’t know everything about the mod but yeah the create mod is special

In the way that you don’t really need redstone to use it it adds uh own power sources that you can then use to to power machines that make cool stuff and it’s just amazing that’s the only word i can think of enough talking let’s get to the actual

Building so as you might have seen in the title and the thumbnail in this episode i’m gonna focus on doors and stuff uh so we’re gonna make like a secret entrance uh i think there was bookshelves yeah here we have bookshelves here and i to make like a secret bookshelf entrance

Uh somewhere around here but firstly i’m going to focus on the front door because i mean look at this minecraft isn’t that nice with the doors it offers it’s all just one by two doors nothing bigger nothing smaller so this this is so sad look at all the trapdoors and then

Just a sad door that you open in the middle of them so my plan is to make these trapdoors into the actual door and i’m not sure if that’s gonna work but i hope so so first off we need a mechanical bearing and then i think we need a sequenced gear shift i

I don’t know i mean if you’re confused right now just i am too okay so it’s fine it’s fine we’re gonna dig down three blocks place our creative motor then our sequenced gear shift and then our bearing that’s that’s the wrong way there we go

And then i can just super glue i don’t know if this is going to work with trapdoors that’s the thing i mean they’re gluing together i can see that but the question is what will happen when i open them up will they still move like this

Or will they close and then move or break oh no what have i done no all right i’m not sure if i screw something up there but this might work hopefully now if we put a button on here and press it okay all right so it kind of works it’s

Just that i lost this entire part so i guess we’ll just have to remove it and put it on there again look at that okay so we there’s i mean the issue is that there’s a block gap here but i guess we could fix that by making a turn the other direction

Will that work 90 degrees but reversed and then this will be forwards that works that definitely works holy crap bro look at that now obviously we don’t want to go down here to open the door all the time and that’s where the redstone link comes in this is

Probably the coolest part about this mod uh just wireless redstone it’s it’s just wireless redstone if i add a block to the frequency and then power this one the receiver over there will also output redstone power which is mad so i just put one red something here

Okay there we go i guess it’s kind of hard to see with the button over there but if you press it door opens up we can walk out and the door will close after i think it was like four seconds oh look at that i mean that was kind of simple right and

It’s it’s already a lot better than it was we now have a massive door for our mansion okay there’s one really cool thing here uh the mansion has an entrance over here and the crater has placed iron bars here how i i really want to make this wireless you

Can stand in the house and open up these gates they just open i don’t know don’t want them to open like this or do i want them to go upwards okay i’m going with opening doors because if i want them to go up and stuff that would take a lot of space

Up here and it would look bad if this works please oh my look at that look at that they just opened up i mean it’s kind of fast and considering it’s a big iron gate i don’t think it’s supposed to be that fast i’m going to

Change the speed of the motor down there oh look at it go alright i finished the doors and hopefully oh oh man that looks so cool then you just pass through and they should in just a second close up behind me there we go oh man all right so we have

Our majestic entrance there we also have our majestic entrance here two incredibly cool doors but i think there are some more things to turn here we’ve reached the part that i think most of you including me are the most excited for have been the most excited for i don’t

Know english i’m going to make a hidden bookshelf door with the create mod now obviously it’s going to work the exact same way as my other doors so it’s not that complicated but it’s going to be five times cooler just because it’s a bookshelf that opens up that’s just it

So if we it’s kind of hard because i’m gonna have to remove this but i guess that that and that which looks kind of weird what if i replace all of these with mechanical bearings i could actually make it so oh yeah yeah no wait screw that

Get away come on be gone i just move this down one more step then our sequence gear shift then the bearing and then i make our spruce wood follow the door that fixes everything guys i think i did it if we now press the button here It opens up i didn’t clear the blocks before that’s kind of dumb but it should close after four seconds and it does oh look at that now we just cover it up over here and that’s it i just need to add like a room behind it to make it actually usable
