What’s going on everybody this is cap and welcome back to another minecraft tutorial today i’m going to show you guys how to get a charged creeper if you live in a biome where rains and thunders okay so what you’re going to do is now this i’m gonna build it up but This can go underground okay so this would be the hole and you build it underground okay let me show you what i mean so what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna build one two we’re gonna put a piece of redstone dust okay then we’re gonna go like this one Two three four five one two three four five one two three four five okay and then we’re sorry not that this goes up here the redstone that’s gonna go here so it’s one two redstone dust and then we’re gonna look up and we’re gonna put an observer like that And then we’re gonna put a lightning rod on top of it okay so that is how it’s going to be built now again this is the hole this is underground all of this okay so now what we’re going to do is we’re going to take our trap doors we’re Going to put them on these three so one two three that way once the lightning rod hits it it’ll affect this and then what you’re going to do is you’re going to put that bottom one out like that okay so the creeper is going to walk in there like this And now i’m going to show you what happens now okay so here’s the creeper i put the creeper in there here is the lightning right now remember this would be the bottom this would be on the floor so this would be one into the floor okay now once it lightnings What’s going to happen is this lightning rod is going to get struck the observer is going to read it it’s going to activate the redstone that the redstone is going to activate this block which is uh touching the um trapdoor that he’s standing on he’s Going to fall in now you can also create a tunnel underneath like so okay just create a tunnel of water into a pit that has obsidian on it once you have that pit you would then go ahead and get other mobs in there to get heads Okay that is exactly how it’s going to happen let’s just wait for the thunder to hit this there we go you could see him fall in there and now we have a charged creeper we actually have two because i had another one in there okay so we have uh our charge creepers And now let me show you how to actually get them in there in case a lot of you are asking okay so to get them in there again after the lightning strikes you’re gonna have to just flip this back up to reset it now remember this is the ground Level okay so it’s gonna look like this so what you’re gonna wanna do to get them in there is just create like a little pathway just like this make it too high though okay so make it make it too high remember this is the ground right here this is ground level and just Get a creeper to follow you just get a creeper to follow you stay far enough away so he’s not going to blow you up and then just walk and when you walk actually you can lift this up too okay when you’re walking just go in the path here go in here and then Lift that up and then as he’ll follow you and he’ll just fall right in okay so you’ll have a creeper in here then you can go ahead and break the wall and then you’re gonna have to wait you’re obviously gonna have to wait for lightning um So just just keep that in mind and you can build these kind of all over the area all right and then once you get that once you build that little pathway underneath and you have your creeper in there just put some trap doors down and you can do the same thing for other Mobs any mob that you want the head for okay so let’s say you get a skeleton or a zombie just have them follow you stand on this side of it and they’ll fall in there then you could break those or just leave them because they’ll be broken anyway And then just aggravate the creeper make sure you have blast protection on aggravate the creeper uh and he will blow up he will give you some heads and yeah there you go also make sure you get a regular creeper in there too so that way you get the the creeper head as well Okay but this is how you store them and you can even build a big like square in the sky like really really high and just you know have little cells like this so this could be one of like a bunch and then you could do another one you know like right here So that would be the hole this would be where you know the lightning rod goes and so on and so on and so on and you can have a bunch of them okay that’s how you do it that’s how i found to be the easiest way cap out peace Video Information

A charged creeper has a significantly increased explosion power.
A charged creeper is created only when lightning strikes within four blocks of a normal creeper. The lightning can be created by any way, including naturally, with the /summon command, by a trident with the Channeling enchantment or attracted to a lightning rod. Charged creepers are distinguished from normal creepers by their blue aura surrounding.
A charged creeper can be summoned with the following command: /summon creeper ~ ~ ~ {powered:1}
Their countdown timers are the same as normal creepers, both in terms of range and time. With a power of 6, an explosion caused by a charged creeper is twice as powerful as the explosion caused by a creeper. Charged creepers’s explosions are 50% more powerful than an explosion of TNT. How close the creeper was to the lightning strike does not affect the size or power of the explosion.
In Java Edition, a charged creeper explosion that kills zombies, skeletons, wither skeletons, or other creepers causes one of those mobs to drop its corresponding mob head. If multiple valid mobs are killed in the explosion, the one that drops a head is chosen at random. In Bedrock Edition, a charged creeper explosion that kills zombies, skeletons, wither skeletons, or other creepers causes all the killed mobs to drop their corresponding heads.
A charged creeper does not drop its own head when it explodes, although any other charged creepers or creepers killed in the explosion drop a creeper head. Players and ender dragons do not drop their heads, nor do mobs without corresponding mob heads, such as livestock animals.
