What’s up guys I’m Andrew and today I’m going to be showing you how to turn your single player Minecraft world into a multiplayer Minecraft world alright let’s get started so the first thing that you’re going to want to do is go ahead and open up your own Minecraft server hosted on your own Computer if you already have one and then you can go ahead and skip this step but just make sure it is not through a third-party website such as alternose or Apex hosting as I’ve not tested out this method on those third-party servers but if it’s hosted on your computer then it Should work just fine I have a card on screen linking to my tutorial on how to set up your own multiplayer server for free so you can go ahead and click on that and follow the tutorial or if you have your own preferred method you can Go ahead and do that and that should work as well once you’re done with that we can go ahead and get your single player world into a multiplayer server all right so the first thing that you’re going to want to do is go ahead and open up Minecraft then go ahead and launch The version that you made your server for for me it’s 1.19 so I’m just going to go ahead and hit play and then you want to go ahead and find the world that you want to make into a multiplayer server so for the sake of this video I’m just Going to go ahead and create a new world real quick all right so I have made my Minecraft world I have just switched to creative real quick just to make a little pillar as a reference as you can see back there now you’re going to want To hit Escape save and quit to title and once you’re back in the menu you want to go ahead and go to single player select the world that you’d like to make into your server click edit down here and click this open world folder button this will open up a finder window go Ahead and hold down the command or Windows key and press the up Arrow as you can see you have your world folder right here whatever you named it for me I named it test world I’m going to drag this out of my saves folder into my desktop I can close the finder window Hit cancel cancel and now we’re going to go and put it into the server so now what you’re going to want to do is go ahead and double click on your server folder and then as you can see there is a world folder right here what we’re going to do Is we’re going to go ahead and drag that one out this was the world that was generated with the making of the server and now I’m going to take my test World folder or the one that you want to turn into your multiplayer server and then right Click hit rename and just rename it to world with all lowercase hit enter and then you should be good to go so now I’m going to run my server by double clicking on the start dot command and then I’m going to open up portnap I’m going to go back to my game once This is open go to multiplayer and as you can see my servers popped up right there if I go ahead and log in and there is the pillar I built and now I am in a multiplayer server with my single player survival world so I went ahead and added my brother’s Account on the server And that is the end of the tutorial on how to turn your single player Minecraft world into a multiplayer Minecraft server I hope you guys enjoyed please remember to leave a like And subscribe I’ll see in the next video bye guys Video Information
