I Transformed a VILLAGE in Minecraft 1.18 | Survival Let’s Play #8

Thriving i mean look at him yeah it’s a good place hello can i be a part of your village oh okay that’s fine honestly i have a few concerns about the safety of this village anyways i mean i don’t know if you’ve ever seen a villager but they’re not the most intelligent species

So maybe what we ought to do in order to get some mending books is just revamp this village i’ll make it super livable for the villagers i’ll get them breeding and i’ll get a couple of villagers like librarians and farmers that can really help me out over at the grove seems like

A pretty foolproof plan to me and look we’ve already got a librarian first thing we need is a lawnmower service this is a lot of grass so much grass next order of business a plan we need a plan honestly the population seems to be doing all right but just in case i think

We ought to get some wool after all we’re going to need a lot of villagers and a lot of villagers means a lot of beds let’s hope they don’t mind pink it’s also getting nighttime which is the perfect time of day to work in a village let’s just plop everything in there my

The villagers are safe in their houses the extra beds are placed mission transform a village is a go now the next step in this transformation is well transforming we have houses like this that are not super useful for what i need so the plan is to take these down

And replace them with something that is a little prettier and a little bit more functional hopefully the villagers appreciate all this hard work you know i think we may actually do both of these houses uh sorry gollum you’re in luck though you’re free to go yeah yeah perfect

Okay transformation stage one these two buildings were nearly in the center of the village but they were pretty useless as they were what i’m gonna do is transform it into a little house of operations for me place where the villagers can store things that they

Need and a place where i can work out of luckily this piece of land should work wonders i think for all of the builds in this village we’ll go with the same palette that we went for over there with the windmill so just spruce birch and

Oak these are easy materials to get and let’s be honest the villagers don’t really care now i know it’s giving sort of starter housy vibes but i think it’s a big improvement on what was there or maybe just a small improvement okay it needs some work it needs some work but

With a few details hopefully i can get it looking its best ta-da hold on ta-da honestly for a small house for the villagers i think it’s pretty good i should be able to get all of the supplies that i need to this area pretty simply and just work out of here now so

Now that i’ve added beds and built a work room for myself as sort of the town hall i guess it’s time to move on to the next step er what is the next step i think logically the next thing that we need to do is work on the defenses of

The village after all the iron golems are doing their best but i bet they could do some reinforcements if i’m going to be getting a mending villager from this village i don’t want to randomly die when i’m away so i think the next order of business is walling in

The village i need to establish a perimeter for us to work around and i think we’ll have a gateway like right here maybe so if this is where you enter then i’ll just have to establish some sort of wall going all the way around everything not gonna lie i think this

Building’s gonna be sacrificed okay peripheral established oh and look they’re having children this is fantastic news absolutely fantastic i can tell that they’re already enjoying my improvements my problem is i don’t have any more cobblestone and everyone knows that the best walls are made out of cobblestone that might not be true i

Just made that up but i really want to use cobblestone oh here we go turns out i left a ton of cobblestone behind so we’re in luck i knew it was a good thing that i was unorganized okay night is falling though so let’s try to establish

Villagers i’m home and i have lots of building supplies so to be honest my main concern right now is keeping all of these villagers inside and making sure no zombies or pillagers get in in order to do this you don’t really need a very fancy wall you just need a little tiny

Wall despite this though i am in the business of making things still look pretty so we’re gonna go with fences logs and cobblestone i’m imagining in a very scattered sort of manner we can just have a bunch of these logs going up and then connecting them together we’ll

Have some fences then we just fill in the gaps like so and now that we have this nothing can get in or out i know i’m a genius now i guess i just gotta uh do it i did it i’m very proud of it to be honest now it may not be completely

Foolproof but uh luckily i have extremely intelligent villagers and i’m sure they aren’t fools so this should be good i mean just look at them which is perfect look they’re burning would seem to me like nobody got inside of my wall which is exactly what i needed it’s

Perfect i have to say the transformation of this village is going quite well we’ve got so many more villagers and jobs and beds around it should be quite easy to get the rest of this going now speaking of it’s time for the next stage we’ve got a wall around to keep

Everybody safe while i build and we’ve got a center to build out of the only thing to do now is to actually build but as with most things in order to build i must first destroy which is a very fun part of the process i have to admit

Since the village is safe i feel like we can finally release all of these lovely villagers hello none of you have jobs that’s probably my fault i’m sorry you’re free though these tiny houses while cute are not that useful to me so they are going to be taken down

Everyone i’ve had an idea i have far too many beds like far too many but i was thinking it’s really convenient that at night the villagers will all go to their beds that’s a really simple concept right i bet we can work with that so my concept

Is we take down a bunch of houses and we combine them into one epic villager hotel if the name is a work in progress but you get my point right are you lost everybody’s going home there’s a child look at them yes it’s perfect it’s perfect oh my gosh

Wait there’s so many oh dear okay yeah to be honest it seems like a really easy space to do this would be like right here so i think this is where i’m gonna mark things out it’s just gonna be real simple pretty much flat walls just enough to keep the villagers all inside

It’s not really meant to be fancy okay villager hotel check well almost it’s pretty cozy in here i would put a fireplace but i think they would die on it so we’re gonna have to pretend that there’s a fire there we’re gonna use our imagination i’ll put a magma block there

Always draws me to them they’re very fun to work in the villagers have very interesting personalities the iron golems are fun to be around i just love helping them out this village’s style ended up coming out very simple some of the houses are really just retextured villager houses i kept them pretty much

Exactly the same but honestly i love it it makes me want to spend a lot more time in this village and i was able to do this whole thing in one sitting which is really fun it’s a good project 10 out of 10 would recommend i think mission

Transform a village is nearly complete or well it’s as complete as it can be because my tools are looking really rough and i don’t want them to break so now that these villagers have homes i think it’s time to get you some employment don’t you think and we need jobs

Jobs i have one librarian but i want to get a bunch of librarians also farmers and some fletcher so let me run back to the grove and see if i can get some materials together walking back to the grove is so fun now look at that statue it’s genuinely so cool

I’m so proud of that build so basically i’m just grabbing everything that i think may be useful to getting these villagers some employment i’m also gonna take the emeralds that i’ve already collected they’ll be super useful this illume is gonna be useful too luckily i’ve already got a great start with the

Farms over here so i can get paper for paper trades and also to make books and i’ll be able to harvest these fields and get a ton of carrots wheat and potatoes for trading oh it’s perfect plan is coming together everyone now i’ve got the stonemason set up in here and i

Emeralds to get more and more books so i think it’s time for a field harvest over at the farms these fields are pretty big so i think we’re definitely going to be in luck one full harvest and even just some of these fields should get us tons

Of emeralds now of course we can automate this eventually but for now starting out this is great now we replant i’m gonna go with some sporadic rows of things this time okay the sun is setting so let’s take our first hall back to the village good morning everybody oh hello how’d

Healed up but they’re definitely looking a lot better so i think it’s time we head back over to the village and continue the job after all the more that we trade with villagers the more xp we’ll get i must admit this is a very relaxing process okay the sun is setting

Our things and with that everything in this village transformation is nearly complete i’m honestly really proud of it obviously we haven’t touched the farms or the paths much but as for daily activities around here i think everything should be able to run a lot smoother and i’m definitely feeling like

The hero of this village there’s one more house to fix though and this is the house that we came to on our very first episode so i wanted to transform this one especially into a tower for the village it’s right up on top of the highest point in this area and i thought

That it would work really well as a defensive structure i don’t know if the villager that lives here will approve of being a guard but i feel like the iron golems at least deserve a guard tower somebody’s gotta be looking out for them i’m doing it villagers it’s the final transformation

I just buff out the foundation a tiny bit to make it look more official then i think it’s just a matter of building it all the way up here we go let’s get these pillars in oh uh okay i think with just a couple of little details the final build in this village

Will be complete honestly i’m really proud of it it’s villager styled but with just a couple of upgrades and differences i enjoy it should give me a great vantage point over the rest of the village the farms everything below the iron golems are happily patrolling the villagers are not

In any danger the bunnies are hopping around freely the pigs seem to be happy in their new enclosure the bees have stayed all is well in this little misty meadows village i’m happy and with my mending book in hand i think it’s time we return to the grove i’ll come back here and

Work on getting more and more upgrades and trading with this village but for now focus back at home goodbye village it’s been wonderful oh it’s good to be back the grove is looking wonderful and i’m so glad that we have a trade partner over in that

Village now i still don’t know what’s up with all the endermen around here but this place is looking good too we are making a lot of upgrades and honestly i’m really proud of us lucy it’s going well but everyone i do believe that is all
