I Tried Minecraft Skyblock, but it’s HARDCORE Survival (#1)

I have survived thousands of days in an infinite Hardcore Minecraft world where I have access to an endless supply of blocks and materials so I asked myself a question what if it all disappeared and all I was left with was a tiny island of dirt what could I create then how long

Can I survive when falling in the void means it’s all over welcome to hardcore Skyblock where I have nothing except a few pieces of dirt and an oak tree to start off my journey to build a mega base in the sky on one life today’s Journey begins with a chest of materials

To get me started but first I need to chop down this tree got the first log we’re good we’re good that’s a good start that last one I’m gonna leave for now as I need a platform to make sure I can get a sapling first Gathering all of the

Dirt I can on my Island while keeping the bottom layer using the four logs I have so far these all need to turn into planks one for a crafting table which is gonna very precariously go here and first and foremost I’m gonna need a pickaxe no time for the most important

Element of Skyblock a cobblestone generator here ice on this side breaking that we got the water flowing right down in the center and then if we place the lava in here we make cobblestone now we’re Sky blocking ah it’s all going into the lava let’s

Try and fix this much better as the sun sets on the first day of Skyblock I gathered Cobblestone converting it into slabs and expanding my base platform there goes the wooden pickaxe which means it’s time to upgrade to the stone pickaxe with the next few bits of cobblestone acquired I need more slabs

And to do something a little daring we have to go underneath the platform here and placing Cobblestone underneath all of the dirt and not drown in the process get me out with a healthy amount of cobblestone to keep me busy for a while next up I need to get this last log and

Try and get as many of these leaves as possible desperately desperately I need a sapling out of this and some apples if I but I am not getting too picky maybe just an apple or two one little snack it’s sapling yes two two we haven’t failed Skyblock we can keep going the

First tree has netted me three saplings which is absolutely insane before we use those Michael is to create a beautiful Skyblock world but there’s an ugly face which means more Cobblestone slabs to create a spot where I can grow some trees with the first dirt down we could

Place the saplings on the back and then the flowers here in the front to maybe get some bees and while those grow the Moon is dropping and coming in at day two where I have no seeds or a way to grow food yet but we can grow sugar cane

Grow little buddy grow the First full stack of cobblestone has been collected trying to beat the timer before the dreaded third night and the Phantom swooping down I stone pickaxe Lee gathered as much as cobblestone as I could get my hands on I am very much going to need another pickaxe at this

Point in time because this is not even close to enough oh my gosh our first tree nice second tree perfect no Bees yet but this is a big upgrade I’m gonna always need more slabs here so let’s just craft up a ton and just add them into the border to hopefully get

All of these leaves to drop their saplings on the platform one sapling acquired yes more perfect okay we can refill I’d like to plant this next one here but I’m only gonna give it one dirt as this is all the dirt I have to work with until I can grit gravel to make

More which I don’t think I can do until we’re in the nether back to the mission at hand as I want to create a dark room to hopefully spawn in some spiders before this sun drops as I need string to craft a bed this I need to move 24

Blocks away from my main island for Hostile Mobs to be able to spawn on this side I just need to create a platform that they can spawn on and then give it a roof oh wait we’ve got another tree you know what to save me time I think

It’s time to upgrade and give ourselves an X little cobstone acquired we take the sticks and craft the stone ax back to the Cobblestone mining as I’m desperately hoping for an apple to drop from the tree as my Hunger is slowly depleting oh another tree

Wow that’s a lot of saplings but the Sun is setting right now meaning Phantoms are coming okay I’ve got to take the dirt more slabs Don’t Panic Don’t Panic don’t panic and plants have links that’s gonna definitely be spawning mobs oh no that’s not good that’s not good this is

Really not good over here we need to build a little wall temporarily and make it so that the mobs cannot get back to us and before the fandoms come I need a little platform over my head very quickly now just take some Oak slabs definitely need more of them I still

Have no food so taking any amount of damage could be fatal until we have some way of getting the hunger bar back for now I’m gonna have to wait out of the night in this little safety bunker of sorts oh gosh let’s smelt a little bit

Of the oak logs down so we can get some charcoal and create torches just to make things a touch safer one of my least favorite parts of Skyblock is grinding Cobblestone but the more I can get done now the better off I’ll be later the sun’s finally coming up day four is

Beginning and right over there oh I’m glad I built that wall that is a spooky platform speaking of which look at all of the Cobblestone we now have to work with that’s almost five and a half stacks and I forgot to plant my last oak sapling so we’ll get those down the sun

Is coming up and hopefully I can get over here yep they’re burning that’s good we’re just gonna pick up the drops after they no no no I thought they couldn’t hit me from Over the slab that’s a bad idea and then I’ll give you a nice roof over your home after you

Burn to death oh there’s a lot of creepers oh yes yep okay we’ve got our first mob kills or is there any more is there I see you sneaky guy not gonna get me here buddy much better there we go we have our first bones with the

Cobblestone I do have I’d like to replace the base of the Cobble gen no that’s that’s a gonder that is a dirt that is gone the reason I’m collecting this is I need more of that grass so if we start a new place so that start growing over here hopefully the grass

Will start growing downwards and we can use the bone meal here to get some seeds No Seeds but I did get two more flowers which means we have another chance for bees and I think it’s time to plant the glow Berry I could have bone milled that

For food oh no back over to the mob spawner we go where for now I think this large of a platform will be enough to get me through the first days you know what to make this look even nicer because isn’t it beautiful so far you

Can take some of the oak logs and get a bunch of Oak slabs blocking this up here means it should be dark on the inside and mobs will begin to spawn hopefully about now in the meantime is waiting for mobs to spawn I got to work chopping down the trees that

I could as well as expanding the platform as much as I could with the Cobblestone slabs I had available the sapling count is really starting to stock up over here and these things are consistently filled up as soon as all of the leaves break down but my Hunger is

Getting dangerously low soon I won’t be able to run anymore so hopefully we can get an Apple out of this tree oh my gosh so close so close we can almost regenerate Hearts yes we got it third Apple perfect and another tree saplings are replanted with nine left

Over and an extra apple as a snack for later right let’s go check the dark room has anything spawned quite yet just bets just a ton of bets you drop anything I’m gonna take that as a net sugarcane has grown however so we can move that right over here and Knight is down

Meaning I need to sit under this platform yet again oh man I wish I saved some of that bone meal speaking of which I can make a composter in here and maybe use a few of the saplings this is gonna be a risk but it might be not worth it

Not worth it at all oh that was a big waste right um back to Breaking cobblestone in the meantime though maybe I grab a torch here pick one of the slabs well be quick I’ll be quick and we just do one here and one here so that the trees can

Continue to grow at night and to make sure this stays safe just in case I’m away from here let’s do another torch on top emerging on a new day I have a new goal for myself but first I have some chores to do like checking the dark room

Where we have mobs next trying my best to safely pick up all the mob jobs and or not kill too many bats along the way we got ourselves one bone for three bone meal two arrows and a string and it’s something maybe I can start my Farmer

Flip Journey with some seeds yes we got one we have a seed crafting a stone hoe here we can start farming meaning soon I’ll have an unlimited source of food through crafting wheat into bread for now I can use the two bone meal I do have on that and hopefully yes we now

Have two wheat moving on to the next chore I’m gonna need another Stone ax here as my first one is very broken quite literally very broken so I moved on with chopping down all of the trees that had grown overnight and I decided use a little bit more of my dirt to

Create even more spaces for trees to be growing because I’m going to be needing a lot of wood for this next project to accomplish my next goal of building a mob farm I need to get out there to the mangrove swamp but it’s getting to be nighttime yet again oh these days are

Flying by it leaves me some more time to chop down trees and gather more Cobblestone before the morning to prepare for the adventure Apple that’s the weirdest way I could have ever said Apple but I’m not hungry anymore so that’s good uh morning is almost here

It’s time to check out oh I’m hearing some mobs oh hello mobs no creepers inside just one more spider to take care of and let’s open the middle for now that way no mob should spawn in here during the day and I can inch my way out oh we have six string

There’s one wool we just need two more before the adventure get a little bit of bone meal and make some more bread and a few more plots of Farmland where we now have our very first bread yummy and I finally have so much junk it’s time to

Expand the storage a little bit risking everything I pillow it across the void in hopes of reaching the swamp Island where I’m really really hoping there’s a bit of water over here yes look at that oh infinite water source oh this is amazing yes yes yes okay I need my

First up here I need to get an infinite water source a little closer to home so I’m thinking we transform the inside of this guy into our farming region Cobble Jen I’ll return this throwing a torch in here before it gets too dark but we can didn’t place that there and yes infinite

Water at home big upgrades double gen is back up and running and I’d like to take all these seeds with me as well as the dirt surrounding the Cobble gem because I think it could be used better somewhere else when the sun comes back up I’ll make it a little bit better

Inside over here something we can actually use but for now let’s clear space with our sugar cane to grow and fill the rest of the room in with dirt with an unlimited source of water acquired all I need now is a bunch of oak logs to build a mob farm in this

Skyblock world now I want this thing to not look awful awful just awful enough so I’m gonna be using Oak planks to build it first branching my platform off this direction you create a platform for standing on while we collect all of the mop drops I’m gonna have all the mobs

Fall on this little slab platform and I can attack them from the outside with a few more slabs going around so I don’t fall off this is feeling much more flip safe makes other mobs can’t attack me I can install some trap doors around here and then we just start building upwards

In case I need to access these points as I’m going upwards I’m I’m thinking some rings where I can see in and place blocks could be a very smart idea 18 blocks above the mob should be taking a good amount of falling damage once they get up here and now we need to

Build a few channels for water to push them into the middle with the pillar created next step is to create space for water to push the mobs down using these channels and Oak trap doors on the sides I can place in water that should push everybody all the way into the middle

It’s supposed to be one block farther hold on I can fix much better I just need a lot more water but night time is coming so I probably don’t want to be stuck up here I built up a good amount of apples here to snack on so I’ll just

Do this with a full belly I spent the rest of the night chopping down more trees for building oh I’m hearing a lot of mobs up here please tell me this is gonna be safe most definitely not safe okay this could be a big problem Oh

There’s no way for them to fall down I severely messed this up this is not good at all that guy’s gonna be up there for a very long time I’ve got an idea if I come in from underneath here and remove all these maybe the mobs will just fall

Down to the center test one test one hit this creeper hello Andy’s in oh yes it worked spider up here we’re just gonna send him off on a journey now I have unlimited water up top and I should probably patch this back up what is in place now we just have to

Line this with all of our Oak trap doors and now we place in the spawning platforms themselves this currently would be very effective during the night once I remove the cobblestone in the middle but I want to make it work at all times of day means we need walls and a

Roof I’m not after Enderman currently so I’m only gonna make it too tall on the interior just so we get zombie skeletons creepers and spiders and I’ve run out of materials great please don’t spawn everything in anything before I get back wait that’s a piece of gold armor oh

Yeah upgrade finishing off the roof removing the cobblestone in the middle oh no oh I never fixed these sides oh they’re supposed to all be one longer oh gross Yep this is Max oh this is going swell working all the way into the night we’ve now fixed

It up and everything is fully extended I should get my torches back open up the middle and get the heck out of here now hopefully many spiders and not just Cobblestone starts dropping here in the center any minute now who our first mob a creeper with that working I can just

Let the mob stack up for a little while so I think it’s time to revisit a Farmland as relying on apples is a little rough and look at that we’ve got eight seeds now and the sugar cane is growing very well with the seeds planted I got to work chopping down the oak

Trees yet again another stack of logs for me and which oh look at that look at all those mobs oh don’t blow it up please don’t load up oh no oh no this is bad yeah I gotta kill the creepers quickly gaps up there bad idea very bad

Idea I got a music disc gaps good idea wait I got a carrot oh this is huge huge today’s a great day we can play to hear it feel yay I saw the creeper exploding please don’t kill everybody we’re just gonna cover these with some trap doors

And open them if I need them oh look at all this loot we’re getting oh this is a good day we now have wheat and we have carrots soon we shall also have potato and I’m keeping my eye out if we can get a zombie villager with all of the bones

I’ve acquired we can turn these into bone meal that I can use for one to get a few more glowberries and expand that food production a bit further and most importantly we can bone meal up the fields to actually fill this entire place in of course including as many

Carrots as I can this is starting to be a really successful Skyblock world I’m happy with everything I’ve accomplished we’ve got a farm we’ve got a place to grow our trees we’ve got a mob farm and I’ve got my Cobble gen which I haven’t used for a little while I’m kind of

Running low I think I saw a witch in here so I want to really see what we can get off of that I see a potato I really should save the witch we’ll get one in the future it’s not gonna be the last it gave sticks I should have saved it there’s

Another string sitting in the middle though that I desperately need got it ignore the arrow in my head that’s enough for two pieces of wool in total meaning one more and we can sleep through the night with the mob farm completed a sustainable tree farm and

Now a solid source of food my next goal is to reach the nether dimension in hopes of obtaining gravel from piglens but hold the phone here we have a zombie villager I desperately need him uh those are super rare also ignore me almost being dead it’s fine wait wait wait big

Upgrades we have three walls with this I can create a bed and sleep away the night oh this is amazing let’s get a little Cobble if I head all the way up here to the Gap that I created I should be able to lock this off so no mobs come

Down okay that was spooky from here we very carefully pick out everything except the zombie villager he should be alone in there now and if I can get inside with a boat or maybe I’d just bring him out and put him right over there okay this is gonna be stressful

Open this back up to get the mobs of flowing and one we’re gonna need gold from the nether which we’ll get to soon and then I need a witch and then we can cure him and get our first zombie villagers our villagers oh they are flowing like water

With my new friend secured from risk of sunburn I’ve decided I want to build my entire base around the mob farm just wonky things sticking out all over the place as I want to get into The Nether next I need 10 obsidian that I can’t

Break so we need to be careful on this one also I’m gonna need the lava you know what well I have all these bows out here I think I can combine them and get a near fully repaired bow yes perfect and I’ve got a stack of arrows any

Should go all the way I am almost out of food again where I can use all my bone meal to get the wheat ready to grow Harvest it all down rinse and repeating this a few different times so I can get as much wheat as possible from this bone

What’s going on in the nether oh there’s another portal right there another Fortress we see a Soul Sand Valley and there’s little biomes around all right so it’s like the Overworld just spread and spooky step one in the nether is to mob proof everything because we don’t want things spawning anywhere especially

On this little platform over here but look at all that gold wait I can get a golden apple off of this I don’t think I can mine it with stone I’m not risking that I think I was supposed to spawn here but uh we kind of built the portal

Somewhere else inside of the chest we have one fire charge I’m gonna leave that till I figure out what I should do with it oh you can light the portal with it it’s a safety way out of here I knew that I’m a professional you get piglets

To spawn I need to reach the Crimson Forest which is across the void so before we get there I would like to create a really simple gold Farm moving out a good way away from the portal on a first and foremost create a safety box for myself so that the zombie piglens

Can’t get to me in a roof so the gas can’t spawn in then building a big platform for the zombie piglings to spawn Greg about the fence gate and hopefully this means they can’t attack me but it looks like they’re not quite spunning in yet hopefully if I move over

Here they’re starting look at them oh piglens too wait that’s huge I don’t have to go all the way over there I’ve got gold on so they shouldn’t attack me but none of them have a bow so I can actually take them out here we go now we

Get the gold Farm action going Skyblock is all about the slow little games so sorry buddy I’m gonna need that as I now have three gold ingots which is huge and the gold helmet before I get too carried away here I need to come back to the basics we got three gold

Ingots so far and I need a total of 16 to actually cure two villagers but I only have a stack of Cobble left and I’m running pretty low on logs too so let’s chop all these guys down and get a little bit of the grind rocking Much better on a second chest with Kabul and nearly four stacks of logs ready to go the only item holding me back at this point is iron which is going to come from zombies at the mob farm wait I just got my first Iron I came back to make

More swords and all right we already got one that’s gonna go right here a few swords ready for a long grind and one other thing to help out here is going to be a fishing rod to grab the items from The Middle are you number two already oh this is going great today I can fishing rod some of the loot wait I think I see a fisherman like in there I gotta clear this out just a touch to make sure it’s actually one that was a chicken there was a chicken kill the chicken oh no yes I see a villager oh my

Gosh there’s two make this a little bit easier I have been adding railings around the base so far well kind of waiting for things to happen no third iron yet but we can’t get ready for villager breeding as soon as I can get a little gold technically I only need one

Of them so I’m gonna get rid of the non-fishermen just in case he’s a nitwit and his friendly skeleton with one more boat ready to go I just need to open this up hi buddy you want to come with me yeah look at you you’re so cute and

More iron and it is all possible I finally got one I finally got one we finally have our third piece of iron it’s just stuck in the middle so I needed a new fishing rod but look at that give me the iron please yes okay there we go perfect I already

Have a bucket so I’m pretty secure on that front here but with this iron we now have three and I can make myself an iron pickaxe oh that feels good I need to be very careful with this pickaxe for now but there’s a few things we can do

With it I’ve got to be extremely careful with this pickaxes I don’t want to break it as it was very difficult to get but now that we have these two blocks of gold and some slaps can go back in there I now have to my name 21 gold ingots we

Take some of our apples I’ve been picking up we can create two golden apples before I attempt this next part I would like a little bit more food because it’s gonna hurt a lot we almost got enough seeds to plant a massive field here soon and I’ve got a ton more

Bread for myself as beautiful as the glow bears are here I think they’re gonna have to go as I need to break this completely down and I think if I get in the boat with this guy he won’t be able to hit me nope we can definitely get

Poisoned that’s not good we’re waiting for weakness we’re gonna start eating food as soon as I can oh I’m in the boat with the other dude oh I hate this take two back in the witch boat come on buddy weakness throw the weakness potion we want the weakness potion desperately

Need the weakness potion nope that’s poison again oh there’s weakness right away please tell me you have the villagers it didn’t hit the villagers no maybe if I stand right here consumed many loaves of bread and now please throw the weakness no that’s poison again that’s damaging I

Don’t like the damaging okay we’re not we’re not being friendly today we try again this is 25 chance come on dude there’s weakness Okay police work yes we have two keyrings I’m getting rid of the Witch and they’re gone we just gotta wait a little longer for these two to

Cure and that’s gonna be a whole new world welcome home buddies no longer alone in this Skyblock world I now have two villagers to help me survive with a solid base setup in this world I’m starting to feel safe soon it’ll be time to turn this world into a home the
