Hello I’m ivy extra care and this is my weekly in-depth at her way I take a pot minecraft and I go in-depth into pet giving you the facts giving me the stats and the fun trivia you need to know all about it and also just have fun thanks To you know taunt your friends with or something like that and this week we can be covering the nether in depth so we can be covering the nether portals the never itself like how it works the sides than ever that’s all thing and we’re also going to be covering a second thing It’s gonna be a double episode because I had so much support and last week’s episode where a lot of people asked me to do the NEB mob so I’m we covering all four and their mobs in the episode two because I really appreciate when people Like and share it so if you could like or share this week’s video if you very much appreciate I’m really enjoying this in-depth show and if you wanna help them out then you can serve also dead pig so um yeah that’d be very much appreciate let’s get straight into it though with The nether in depth so we’re gonna start with d never portal because that’s the entrance than ever and this is something a lot of you know all of you know I would say but basically the NEB portal is made from ten obsidian free like never portal or fourteen of cedron for a Full one the lightener portal is just the simplest way to make one involves using placeholder blocks in the corners and the phone of portal if you use a play on if the phone end portal uses 14 blocks and this is the official one the game uses and if it naturally spawns It’s gonna be a for one of these so if you want you can actually take the corners off the naturally spawning ones and just have free obsidian if obsidian is hard to get for you or something I’d know so next let’s talk about how you light them or activate them so you can Light them with free separate things you can use a flint and steel the more traditional method you can use a blaster a gas Bible sorry just you know heading into you it can light them if it hits it the right angle all the third things that some people don’t know is the fire Charge so the fire charge can be crafted from ingredients you mostly find in than ever so you’ve got gunpowder from a gas you’ve got blaze powder from a blaze of course and then if you bring coal or chalk up with you you can actually create a blur you know fire charge which Can light something on fire including a nerve portal so there’s that so what is the never and why’d you wanna head there so basically they never is a smaller version or smaller helis version I should say off the regular world so it’s three times as small or one-third the Size which means when you create an F portal the cornets you created at depend actually determined your location in the nether so right now my cornets are x3 94 z m– items if you divide those two cornets by three and leave your white core not the same That gives you your rough coordinates in the nether so to quickly divide that in my head you get 132 and minus sixteen that it’ll transform as close to that as it can and this is where it spawns me so it spawns me at 128 so only four blocks Off and minus 18 so exactly there and only four box below where it needs to be so the reason it can’t spawn exactly 130 or cornets is because it tries not spawn you above lava it tries not spoil you in danger and it tries to spawn you somewhere where this actual location and Not just the walks it couldn’t SMO me just in the wall there that wouldn’t make any sense so yeah let’s let’s talk about the never itself now so once you’re in the never you can do all the never break things you can find you on there months like killed zombie pigman You can find your nether fortress and you can also head back to the real world with a separate portal you can even make this within 50 blocks your original one so since never is one-third of the size of the real world 286 by 286 blocks by the way basically what happens is if You’re within 50 blocks your original portal it will just take you to your real world the reason for this is on PC if you’re in 128 blocks it takes you back and just you know the rough Xbox equipment that so if I may turn a portal Here it will just link back to my first portal however if you make one more than 50 blocks away it kind of works like a reverse nether portal so it takes my coordinates from here and it times them’s by free to get my overworld cornets and it makes an Airport of less so what will you just multiply this my head you get 381 and 108 on the x and z so let’s see what it gives us and it tries to get those exact corns it does the same thing work won’t spawn you in a wolf or in zarbor or Something and as you can see 300 and it’s really really close each time so it’s a also even my only went 50 blocks away in the never this is actually a hundred and fifty blocks away from my original portal which means even for short distances like this or fairly Short ones if you go on the nether it’s three times as fast so let’s say I need to cross the entire world oh well 864 blocks as you can see this is the amount of distance I’d have crossed never this is the distance in the real world it’s a Real real big difference change so yeah that’s why they never so awesome for travel you just go three times as fast even for railways if you’ve you know set it up right and you make it actually go faster three times as fast railways you hear from one side at the console world the Other and no all really if you use the never correctly which is one of my favorite things about it so yeah there’s that so next let’s talk about the actual limits on the UM they’re never so the never it has a limit of two hundred eighty six by Two hundred eighty six blocks like I’ve said already it goats you know each way to the corners and whatnot and then there’s bedrock up the edges rather than like the usual just like ocean view you get in the never over world however there’s also a limit for 128 blocks up This is weird because the rest the world got a height limit increased to 256 but they left the never the same so there’s a big cat up there even though there’s 128 buildable knocks up there so how do you get past this because even creative you can’t break this bedrock it’s Unbreakable bedrock however there is a little glitch you can use to kill above it and I warn you before you do this make sure you have some way to get back because once you get up there you’re kind of trapped but basically if you have to ender pearls and even one can do It sometimes time now okay there we go you can use that to get up here to the nether it’s a little difficult to do but once you do you’re rewarded with this just massive open place where there’s nothing but bedrock and a few mushrooms for some reason oh yeah there’s nothing But bedrock and if you create a portal here you have a way back and you can essentially use this as like a secret house thing because if you have friends that are just digging your stuff all the time or something like that and this is a handy way to avoid that because of Course you know if they can’t find your stuff they can’t take it and this is a handy place to do that also it’s a big flat man so if you want a big flat place to build here’s a place to do that but you know using two ender pearls to get Here each time can get tedious because it helped it hurts your mute health and ender pearls aren’t easy to come by so there’s a cool glitch for you actually while we’re up it let’s talk about the first never mob because there’s no mobs up here but we’re gonna make some Anyways so let’s talk about these zombie pigman these are the first one that you’ll probably see and they’re also the oldest of the never mobs they came with the never which was leave alpha version of minecraft PC and they launched version of minecraft Xbox so basically Again that the old spawn the game and they’re also the only mob that can spawn in the overworld – because they can kind of leap through never portals they can actually spawn from euro born their portal which have you seen my let’s play it’s kind of weird and it happens it’s Just this weird thing and it’s a pretty low chance be cancelled I need to eat but yeah so basically they can spawn in the overboard – and they’re pretty much identical to the zombie even though they’re visually not except in three separate merciful they do a lot more damage they Deal 5 to 13 damage depending on the difficulty which is absolutely insane that means turf them together can yeah if they hit you once each you’re dead Yvonne it on hard and if they hit you twice each on easy you’re dead still if you don’t have armor so yeah kind of Dangerous and they also slightly haven’t drops to the ad zombie pig zombie so uh instead of dropping a you know a gold iron bar they drop a gold bar and instead of happening you know other red drops they have gold nuggets as a fairly common drop and that’s just a cool fact About his own pigment finally the last way they differ is their behavior you might notice they’re not attacking me it’s not because we’re just above the never it’s because they don’t they’re really neutral until you attack one of them when you attack one zombie pigmen all the zombie pigmen within 32 blocks Of them will become hostile toward you so they show that now well and then you’ve got to fight them to there so that’s the zombie pigmen for you they have the same hell points as me by the way so that’s 20 health points but to armor points so they’re pretty difficult To kill but if you just don’t provoke them you never have to do me Pigman they just do their own thing so next let’s talk about gas which first of all I’m gonna show you that if you use net portal prop here it will it get you back To your reward portal but you can’t get back to it which is kind of sad in my opinion because the never officially ends aren’t rate blocks and even though there are blocks there to build you’re not allowed to use them really so yeah let’s show you my little gas chamber Which is a co-ed show them so gas are actually again with the zombie pigmen the oldest mob in the or the oldest never mop in the game because they’re added in the alpha console version of release etc and they’re the largest mob in the game taking up five by five by Five blocks which is 125 separate blocks they leave this this is the size but gas this little chamber I have right here it’s kind of ridiculous let me just point you one init show you up in when you do spawn them they don’t it properly take off this place like that and They’re also gonna fire five or so yeah the blaze is a massive massive mob and they’re also very old the thing that makes up for that I guess all they’re over strong kept rates is that they only have ten health points so it only takes two hits to kill them with a diamond Sword or to benign sword or just one hit with an enchant them sword however they make up for their low health with extreme power because they have a hundred blocks vision distance which is roughly a third of the knepper which is kind of insane so they can see you from Over almost 100 blocks away just insane really on top of that they actually have a exclusive which can deal up to 17 damage if you’re on Hard difficulty that is why am I not regeni help anymore I’ll just read something yeah they can deal up to 17 points of damage if it Hits you directly which again just absolutely insane that it can deal that much and also it can break most no block slits fire explosion including never rack and never courts however some blocks that it doesn’t break I’ll list them all on screen right now the most notable is cobblestone so if you just Take cobblestone with you you can make a gas proof shelter and that’s the easiest way to avoid them really so there’s that and finally they drop gunpowder and the drop Costas these things which is actually interesting me a potion ingredient along with the gold nugget and along with the blazer powder you get From blazes Oh Joe thinks really odd and also there’s our the magma cream which you get from magma cubes the next knob we’re gonna be talk about smooth segue right yeah I think that’s a weird coincidence Bell never they all drop potion ingredients when you kill them But yes so well let’s talk about the magma cubes next as they come in three separate variants this is the timer let’s try and show you a large variant okay there’s a small bearing and finally you’ve got the large bag which we’ll talk about first so there we go So the large bearing is a pretty big mob as you can see and they’re essentially never slaves because they have the same splitting into smallest mob stance negative even smaller ones like the clients and they also look very similar being the kind of cube shape that they Are however they differ in a few ways mainly their health points so they have 16 health points like the slimes however they have twelve armor points – which gives them roughly 50% damage reduction giving them effectively 32 health points if ya I’ll show you right now it takes roughly five hits to kill Them even with a diamond sword which is absolutely insane that it takes that many and then they drop into these smaller versions of the slimes so it can turn is two to four of these just randomly based on luck and in addition to turning in small slimes it drops Between sorry drops er between at 25% chance of dropping a magma cream and it also drops four experience points which is a little bit less than most mobs but then you also get more off the kills so then it turns as these small slimes which have just four health points and Six armor points or roughly five effective health points which means you can Gill them in one hit of a dime sort which is nice and then they to have a 25% chance of dropping mammoth creams themselves and they also dropped to experience points then they turn into These tiny slimes which are chased me around which can’t do any damage unless they’re above you like right there only their underside does damage which is a really weird thing about them not sure that’s a glitch or whatever but yeah only the underside does damage and when They do do damage it’s only yeah a tiny half a heart damage and let’s just talk about what they drop it’s one single experience and nothing else so as far as drops go they’re pretty bad but there’s a lot of them to kill and if you just Bring a wooden sword because they have one single health point then you can just you know mop them up really easily so in total if you you have a potential for up to 17 separate mobs from the single blade magma cube you get and then on top of that you also have the Potential to get up to five magma creams and 28 experience from those 17 mobs so yeah crazy you get upset a 17-7 mobs from one mob that’s why the magma cube can be deadly because if you kill it it just multiplies and multiplies and multiplies so that’s the magma cube a Little bit of crazy mob one of the more rare ones to be honest yeah let’s next talk about the blaze so the blaze is the only net mob in the nether that can spawn from a mob spawner I’m sure you’ve seen mobs play spawns around the place And in addition spawning from that they also spawn around but never fortresses so I’m gonna try not to die right now they take a free hits kill a dinosaur because they have 20 health points like most other mobs however their drops are what makes them really interesting to me Because they drop ten experience which is double the usual they drop zero to one blaze rods which are useful because they can be used in furnaces as well as that they drop glowstone dust which is actually unique to the console that drop the reason that it’s exclusive to Console that PC doesn’t get it is because the console never is very small look at it compared to even like even compared to a regular world which is only a hundred blocks they’re just tiny 286 metros eighty-six blocks so if you need a lot of close phone you’ve run out Of natural naturally spawning glowstone eventually and you kind of just need the you know the never close done so that’s why they dropped them so you can farm blazes if Uniqlo stone pass the point I think that’s a weird way to do things but there’s map oh boy they’re just as a Fun fact I am thrown in yeah if you look at the old map and the never it always shows you being in a random direction like the compass because there is no north so I’ve been getting a little bit distracted let’s go back to the blazes the Blazers can be attacked through Conventional methods like you’ve seen already but they can also be attacked rifts Nobles that I’ll show just now so you can hit them with your sort but you can also use snowballs for attack them snowballs will deal free damage Perth’s Nobles so if you want to attack them From a range and you don’t want to use bow and Erik’s it’s a waste beerus you can actually just use snowballs which is a really cool way to do it in my opinion this also means that if you take them to the overworld review then you can Actually use snow golems to attack them and it’s a pretty fun thing to do so yeah you can actually attack blazes with snow golems if you want to if you ever on a custom map so if you enjoyed the video like I said before I’d very much Appreciate a like or a share I’m gonna be covering the wither skeleton which is a new mob coming in tile update 17 as soon as it comes out so if it’s already title updates 17 few you can check the link in the
