Right folks let’s go ahead and get started welcome back to another minecraft video guys today I’ve got a mod spotlight on a mod called brew craft this mod is freaking awesome and I love doing these mod spotlights so before we actually get into that you know we got

Mod spotlight on something that made beer but I was actually very wrong this mod is very very in-depth and I like it a lot so weird like to begin with this mod spotlight you’ve got to know that this mod adds you know like four pages of four pages of brewing into the into

Minecraft which is awesome so to start off there are some basic items and the way I’m gonna cover this mod is I’m not gonna go over every little brewing step to get every little item that’s but fun for you to have it what I’m going to do

Is I’m gonna take you in intervals and show you how this mod breaks down it’s very cool so so start off these are sort of your basic items we have a brewery and the brewery is crafted with iron ingots a potion stand in a cauldron and the brewery is what’s used to craft

Everything now the cool thing about this mod is it just doesn’t take water you know it actually uses a variety of different things to craft so like for example one potion takes a base of lava one may take a base of milk one may take base of water one may take a

Base of another potion so it’s crazy right very fun and so the next item is a sprayer the sprayer is sort of a mod that will you put the potion in toward off the it’s not a mod it’s the item you put the item on the ground you put the

Potion in there and then you put a redstone signal to it and it will spray the potion out as a potion effect very cool next up we’ve got a variety of different bottles right so the glass bottle then we have the splash bottle then we have a glass vial then we have

The splash file which is the small but splash then we have a large potion then we have a large splash potion so it’s a look at these the crafting recipes are pretty easy this is just a glass bottle with gunpowder and it makes three here’s the vial which is this two glass the

Splash vial always has gunpowder the large bottle is a little bit bigger and glass that’s like seven it’s a cauldron recipe and then that one the splash vial has gunpowder with it as well so these are your base items for all of your potions right you’re gonna

Need these things you won’t need the sprayer but you’ll need the brewery and all these so you’re gonna get a lot of glass and a lot of gunpowder for this mod so that’s the base let’s go ahead and move on to some of the ingredients right so let’s talk about some of the

Ingredients and other ways for you to store these potions so first off there is a keg in this and the keg itself actually has a lot of different versions of it you can make a birch and everything else but there’s actually other kegs used for different things so

This mod is extendable into other mods by rubber brass tungsten so it’s got its got like ic2 and you know all those mods that use different types of them so you can store more you can use other ma but the the base of this is it afford to

Store you know for it to store more potions when you want them you can just run up and click it and it does use a metal ring which is just some iron now that what’s the cool thing is is there’s different types of fluids this

Is basic fluid and then as you go down the line here you can see that the iron keg is used for molten and basic so there’s potions that are gonna include lava for your base you’re gonna have to use the iron cake and then there’s slime

Sealed which you gaseous so if it’s more about a light fluid that might escape through a crack that’s one that you would have to use and then there’s a plated one which you know does it all and then all the recipes are just here they kind of build on each other pretty

Much so it’s pretty cool actually now let’s get on to the ingredients so each one of these ingredients can be found in some way in the game by killing mobs by you know mining something there there’s a couple know that notices down here I’ll let you know so there is a there’s

Blessed powder golden feather charred bone spider fang weary spores medicinal slough south or yeah that’s about right steel sea gales pure tear so the pure tear itself there’s actually like a brother tear and if we look here it’s called the plague tear and you can only

Get that in the nether so if you want that – you’ll have to brew with it in the nether because you cannot bring you into the overworld so it’s pretty cool actually and then there’s these hearts and so these hearts kind of act like miniature red hearts from the tinkers

Construct this heart right here drops from mobs it’s a very rare draw 0.5% and it’ll actually heal your hunger which is pretty cool now you can either use this to kill yourself or you can craft it all while the weather trolled me let’s turn that

Off or you can craft it into a heart medallion and the heart medallion is used for one of the better potions now there’s also a brother to that red heart as well called blazing art which you can only get from blazes in the nether so all of these are available somewhere in

The game either by trading by mining and they all go into the potion in some way somehow you know rather than sit here and explain what potion it goes into and take forever to explain it you can find these throughout the game there’s also a wiki

If you if you can’t figure out what it’s used for I will link a wiki down below and you can read through pretty much all of this because it’s actually a very in-depth mod so I think it’s time that we move on to potion brewing because

This is this is the fun part really for me this is it’s like okay let’s have some fun right guys so I’m going to show you how to brew some potions let’s do this thing so we’re gonna be brewing a flight potion today and I’m going to take a base awkward pushing because

That’s what my potion requires and I’m gonna drop it into the tank here oh I’m sorry there we go and as you can see I’ve put a thousand little buckets into the potion tank and let’s open it back up and we’re gonna put a golden feather in

There and that’s going to start crafting our base potion okay now the one thing I am Not sure on the one thing it doesn’t specify in the wiki is how to make the elongated versions so right now we’ve got three potions in here according to the wiki to make the

Elongated versions need redstone first then the pure tier so when I just put that in there and does it work like that okay so I might have to take that out and put it back in there regardless to get the potion out all you have to do is

Click the base just like that like you did with the other ones there we go and one more it put looks like it put some in there actually another one there is that empty no okay so that’s empty there is one potion in here so I was having

Problems with this earlier is it gonna work now yeah for some reason I cannot get the extended versions of these potions to work this is the potion of extension or extension and it’s a post-up use redstone then that’s here but I can’t get it to work regardless

Once you drink this it gives you the potion of flight now remember when you’re 12 seconds runs out you will fall down to the earth so if we let this run out you will see that we will fall down but nevertheless it’s a freaking flight potion which is awesome and so the one

Thing that she needs to be careful about is that when you fall you take damage but the elongated the longest one you can get is a minute long which is pretty cool so now that kind of shows you how to brew some potions let’s have some fun

Alright guys so I’m gonna show you three potions I have picked out from this mod but I think they’re gonna be a lot of fun to play with so the first one is called the potion of eternal flame now this one causes the people that it hits

To be on fire so it’s like a fire potion like an opposite of a fire potion now there is one that’s sort of the same there’s a fire immunity potion as well but there’s a really good one say am i I think I’m on fire guys I think I’m on

Fire but yeah there’s there’s tons of different potions just looking like and then so I want to show you this one right here as well this is called the potion of fire eaters now if I throw it down the correct way the potion of fire eaters makes this cow

Only survive if he is in lava right so I didn’t get to him in time let’s try it again here pushing a fire either lava so he okay maybe that didn’t work out too well for us though I think I’m still on fire actually anyway it’s not the point

So we’ve messed around with the fire potions let’s get let’s get something real fun there’s a potion of cryogenics this potion freezes people so sure hello why you no I’m frozen maybe I get the right one now 99% movement speed no let me try it on a regular animal stupid

Slime ruin and everything no hi I can’t move what the hell does potions broken huh interesting oh wow I I you say oh well because this one that I’ve got my hand right here is the potion of combustion and this my friends is the sweetest potion of all time for it

This explodes people when you throw it down so just throw it down hit some gets the potion effect eight seconds six five four and then they just explode it’s the sweetest potion of all time that’s so cool I love it ah anyways so the this brew craft mod it’s only two versions old

Which means it’s it’s actually relatively new so I feel like it’s got a super bright you know a bright future for Minecraft and I really really hope that it gets included in some of these mod packs and I just I like this model I I think it’s a great mod so if you
