In Minecraft, No One Can Hear You Scream | A Craft of Mine

The planet Minecraft has always been a game where creativity thrives where you can play by yourself or with friends after a long day and just relax and unwind but what if Minecraft was a horror game that’s kind of what we’re gonna be exploring with this title here

And I am very intrigued I got a general synopsis of the story and looked into some of the screenshots and the atmosphere actually looks really good I know some people in my comments have told me that like Minecraft can be scary at times you know maybe you’re lost in

An underground cave with barely any light sources and you have no idea what’s around you this however takes it to the next level and this whole game is a horror game it’s important to mention that this is not a Minecraft mod or a Minecraft map or anything like that this

Is its own indie game made to look and in some cases play like Minecraft and I know there are a lot of you that have a very strong attachment to Minecraft maybe from your childhood or something that you continue to play with your friends to this day so this will be cool

Because you’re gonna see that same kind of experience but in a new light subverting your expectations is always cool and tricky in a horror game so I’m really excited and I hope we can enjoy this experience together with that being said let’s get right into the little

A result all recipes have an output finally infinite possibilities what they promised the game had until they forgot what the game was I will be testing the algorithm to see where its limits are everything has an output what if I do this nothing so nothing happened hmm

Okay well I don’t know exactly what that means then you all recognize that foreign it does get really loamy in a Minecraft world doesn’t it I think there’s too much potential in these crafting tables infinite items would go unnoticed so I thought I’d always go for entity creation okay

Did all right so here’s my guess as to what’s going on with the plot right now I think this new crafting update that Thomas implemented in this version of Minecraft has resulted in the creation of these disturbing entities from basically being able to put anything on the crafting table and something pops out

I think it had unintended consequences so these go here we’re just going to recreate it exactly as it was made on the sheet and we gotta pickaxe all right cool so now we can get through here yeah let me grab coal okay so I can only use the pickaxe on rock it seems

Um Cole and a stick equals a torch okay better bring a light okay yeah obviously so cool this is so first of all they nailed it that it this actually does look and to a certain extent um play like Minecraft obviously you can’t mine anything but that’s in order to you

Know this is still a curated horror experience they’re funneling you in a certain experience but in terms of the aesthetic in the atmosphere they nailed it all right so let’s do coal like yes good torch is very bright okay a little nervous here that doesn’t sound like any Minecraft

Enemy I’m used to or NPC even huh okay A little platforming section not the we can’t handle gamers if it attacks run and these look like they were actually written out as opposed to Thomas’s um you know typed out notes that he’s leaving or I’m assuming it it’s Thomas oh what’s that

What happened I don’t even know what attacked me I don’t even see anything oh I fell okay all right Focus up I didn’t even see anything there whatever we’ll just have to panic okay let’s have this am I really like getting caught that fast oh there’s a spider there okay I see it

Okay oh yeah he’s coming okay I didn’t see him at first it was our diamond why is the hallway so short now that hallway was way shorter than we initially crawled through we got a lever okay can we use that here now I guess we don’t really need that diamond all right

Now we’re in some sort of large Library slash hallway mob crafting is working correctly results are quite unpredictable however and seem to behave in a more intelligent manner than most entities do the game’s code is identifying them as aggressive yet I have not been attacked I wonder if

It’s an error or simply they don’t attack their creator yeah I think my theory is proving true oh I hear something oh we can hide oh shh okay yeah absolutely something there we have to put together okay I don’t know what that is oh I don’t know what that is

All right let’s go collect these items and unfortunately the torch doesn’t illuminate much oh I’m done okay that’s fine we’re good all right we just got to figure out where everything is we need an Ender eye two diamonds two cobblestone I believe cobblestone yeah where is he is the thing not here

Oh I have it okay I don’t know where the enemy went he just like disappeared all right that works for us go ahead and use this oh it’s called oh no he’s here it’s called tripped goats lever oh Game is really pretty honestly All hail the table the crafting table I don’t know what they mean by all hail I get some sort of deity I mean it’s basically creating life in this case can I switch to my can I switch to my pickaxe again Oh okay they cuddle me they show me their warm embrace they do not want me to feel alone they know I made them and they know I made this world with the push of a button their existence belongs to me every breath they take is proof that I

Experience and it is curated but here lighting is really good there’s like actual boss battles all right pull more and then we probably can get in I’m assuming rule of Threes here we’ll see this is really cool And you wonder what did he use to create that entity there All right boom okay we used the pickaxe we’re good to go another area with that black liquid one day I will show them I will give Mojang this Minecraft world and they will repent their decisions they will see that I was right they will see what

I don’t know how do you guys feel about the end there really impressive experience though very impressive um and a really interesting idea that kind of makes sense um I wish it kind of progressed a little more gradually instead of going from like you know zero to 100 like I said before but
