Insane Birdtross Discovery – Thaumcraft 5

Kyouda guys dude here welcome to episode 5 of thumb craft 5 we’re currently steering into the Sun not a recommended practice in the real world but it’s ok to do it in thaumcraft because well not minecraft rather because it’s just a white square in the sky

Some work has been done here in the thorn craft 5 world here now I’ve got some more oak trees being farmed up here on this area here I think I’m actually going to move this oak tree farm down into this area here later on and I’ll

Explain why we have a wheat farm over here near and also the sugarcane farm and we can also say that I have some cobblestone sit up here this is the first Inklings of our sort of little hobbit hole type situation going on here Maude a hundred percent happy with it at

The moment I think I might rework this shape a little bit but just a good idea to get that stuff down and you know working on it just in the background I think that’s the way that I’m going to work on building in this playthrough

Like I did with the TC for world I’m just gonna kind of do most of that off-camera and most of the stuff to do with magic all the stuff to do with magic hopefully will be done on camera or as much as possible a little more of a change that

You may not immediately notice as well is that I also have basically turned myself into a lawnmower for the last hour and a half I’ve been going through and getting rid of all of the tall grass in the surrounding area just to try and increase the frame rate in some areas I

Haven’t done a whole lot is like a whole area over here still I haven’t done I haven’t done up there I haven’t done up by the house I think a little bit over there a little bit in the end kind of up behind there as well

A lot of work and that did at least give me an excuse to get enough seeds to actually get this wheat farm up and running which is actually almost ready to harvest just a little bit of a pro tip for those who are new into the game

Obviously will be to get a cow farm set up I’m not too sure where I’m going to put that but yeah we need to get some cows over here there’s only a few left and I have I’ve had a look around as well as some over in the Savannah area

Of the more interesting stuff that we need to get to later basic out of a thing or like the thermometer for example as I think something that I want to get started with today’s episode with we might read that at some point let’s yeah there’s one other thing in here

That I forgot to read about which is the new enchantments we’ll just quickly take a look at that if you want to read this your exhaust card you can go ahead and pause the video but this basically two new enchantments hast you can put it on your feet Footwear which makes you run

Faster and repair which you can put on tools and I think Armour as well which will make the durability repair but you can only do it on magical stuff so a phormium as well as some tools that we’ll get to later on minutes I’m not

Sure if you heard that the house can a crate there it’s pretty windy at the moment here in all New Zealand the thing I want to get started with today is actually doing some of the research so the first thing that we need to craft up

Is a table and it looks like the recipe for this hasn’t changed it’s two planks and three slabs on top and you can make a stone table now as well with slabs and clean stone and that appears to be the only thing we’ll go ahead and start with the

Wooden table because that’s the material that I have the most of you look so we’re gonna need to head back inside for this really quick so I think we’re only gonna need one table for the research but we should probably actually make two of these things will be a good plan

So we get two of those yeah that will give me six and I need one more that’ll give me enough materials to make two tables like so there we go alright so now the next step that we need to do where we’re gonna even put these things

I guess just for now we can keep them in here put them next to the bed bedside tables I want to get started with the archein workbench crafting with magic and we can also get the research table which is basically what those to tune into so the AirCam table that takes our wand

And you just click on the table fairly simple so let’s get the wand out I haven’t really been keeping this equipped on me right now because the basica doesn’t have a purpose here there’s nothing we can use it for until now that is there we go let’s put that on the tape

And it looks like just in tc4 the orientation of the wand on there appears to just going to be static okay you can take the wand back out like so but then you can’t use it to create any of your magical recipes now this seems to be pretty much identical to what happened

In film craft 4 and the next one that I want to make is the research table to gather knowledge you just need to take some scribing tools in a wooden table okay and there is to be four scribing tools it’s a glass bottle a feather and an ink sack I should have those

Materials around here I did do some harvesting of glass in the desert so I’ve got some of that now I need three of those actually I’m gonna need some feathers and an except there should be this other chest here spot them before bird and there we go

Feathers right there so that is all good to go head over to this crafting station I should probably actually put this arcane workbench over here now just as if I get used to it we don’t need that guy anymore this I can work bench works exactly the same as the normal work

Bench in Minecraft except it does a heck of a lot more you can actually craft magical stuff with it all right let’s go ahead and put in a glass file or glass bottle Lisa yeah the files are the film craft version so there it is the squirming

Get some paper as well my sugar cane I’ve got a decent amount of sugar cane now thanks to the farm I was going to just turn as much of this into paper as we can we’re gonna use up all that paper eventually and probably lend some alright so how you get started with

Only like to use one type of aspect of that like one as one aspect of each type her research if I can which basically means I’ve already used for tension ordered or and looks and n uses well I suppose so I can’t use those ones anymore to finish off this research it’s

Just an extra level of difficulty though but I’ve imposed on myself which I I personally find more enjoyable you can go ahead if you want to and just kind of cheese it a little bit if you want to go in you slugs a nice looks I mean yeah

That works but it’s you know it’s cheese in it a bit I’m gonna go ahead and get two of those and I’m actually gonna get a bit more I’ll tend to you just so that’s kind of in the pool there we’re actually almost running out of juice
