Edinburgh recently won the game of the year award and it comes to No Surprise seeing how it has one of the greatest open worlds of all time in today’s video I’m gonna be recreating Elden ring instead of my favorite game Minecraft so to start us out I’m gonna begin with Creating a map in the program World painter I decided to use Ellen Rings map as an overlay so I could replicate the terrain as accurately as possible but because World painter is pretty boring we’re gonna be skipping over that part as a forward Elden Ring’s map is Gigantic so in this episode we are going to be building all of lim grave which includes the chapel of anticipation the Church of La the dragon Burns ruins the stormgate that’s guarding these stormhills the first minor archery that we can find in the Mist woods and stormwell Castle so why don’t we start Building exactly where we start in the game the chapel of anticipation I began with working on the base of the structure by adding some blocks that are made with world afterwards I started building up the chapel which I then pasted onto the building blocks we already had and extended it more so to The back I then decided to add details to the surrounding area like fences barrels or plants but because I wasn’t happy with how the chapel looked I decided to redesign the roofs of the towers after that it is back to building some of the fences some of the details and finishing Coloring the terrain and the build with the main build finished it is time to move on to the other side of the terrain we’re gonna be starting this off we’re building this relatively small statue and I gotta say it’s really challenging building those statues on such a small scale immediately afterwards I start Designing this wall which is definitely a hard one for me and it went through many different iterations until I finally found something that I was happy with the Statue of America is a statue that you can find spreaded all throughout the world it’s a very big and intricately designed one and so I Decided to start out by using lapis lazuli box to Mark out the rough shape and then fine tune it later on after finishing the statue all that was left to do is pasting it onto the grounds we had built earlier and then finishing up some of the details like adding trees Rocks and Pebbles now we are gonna be building the part where you get after you complete the chapel of anticipation it’s called The Church of LA and it’s a pretty blocky church that is very unique in the world of Elden ring I started off by making a rough guideline out of Diamonds yet again then building up the towers and eventually detailing and painting everything this was quite a quick process seeing how it’s a very basic shape despite that I still quite like how it turned out please keep in mind that I do not have time to show you The interior of this build but be assured that I have done every single interior that needs to be done inside of this game I think it’s time to move on to the dragon burned ruins which we can find in the heart of limbre I started this field off by starting with the Ruins and building them up from the ground making each Building look more devastated than the other after I got the rough shapes of everything down I started coloring by using some Mossy Stone variants moving on to the dragon I started by making a rough guideline where the spine would be and then Shaping out where the belly and chest would be I connected that all to the head which I made into a sphere for now but that will later be replaced by an actual school I also added points where the wings and legs would connect to the Spine all that was left to do now was coloring and the build would be done but at this point I wasn’t very happy with how the build has turned out and so I came back the next day and reshaped the skull I want to use this opportunity to Tell you guys that it’s totally okay to not like something that you’ve built in the past and that you want to change it but one of the most important assets to have is to not fear failure when building such things start building the first minor Earth tree we’re gonna see On this journey it’s located in the Mist Woods which is the most eastern part of lim grave I started off by making a flat cylinder shape stem for the tree out of diamond blocks which I then changed into Spruce locks afterwards I started building the branches and arms of the Tree bit by bit by hand and giving every single Branch the detail and the tension it deserved then needed and this was quite a lengthy process but I think it was totally worth it in the end afterwards I used the combination of shroom light and orange stained glass to Make this amazing glowing effect that you can see in game moving on we have yet another big build in front of us this one is going to be the stormgate ruins and we’re gonna start on well a song it’s quite a big build and I did the usual building process but this time I specifically focused on coloring it just like it was in game and making it as accurately as possible because I had the scale to do so on this map even including the banners and the details as well as all of the erosion that happened over time for the ruins I did the usual Building process of placing down diamond blocks which I would later replace but because these ruins are actually a lot bigger and have a lot more d detail than the other ones it was quite a refreshing thing to do I also placed a whole bunch of these camps around that are made out Of spruce fences and red Sandstone as well as pasting down a whole bunch of trees bushes and rocks now it’s time to move on to the last build that we’re gonna be doing in this video which is the stormvale castle as you can see we started off using red wool blue wool and Yellow wool to Mark out the shapes and the layout of this castle since it’s quite an intricate one after that we jumped into building the front gate which we made out of different types of stone then we started designing this Tower which was the first of many that I Had to build I then pasted them along and built a couple of walls in between I built a couple of flags and then started coloring this entire thing to make it seem more run down it was time to start with the big front gate which was relatively easy to make since it’s just Two towers and the gate afterwards I copied the wall that I had already built and built a completely new tower as well as filling up the rest of the wall then for the inside I started terraforming it a little bit copying the rest of the Walls I had already built as well as the towers we had already done and we were done with the project I want to take a step back and take a look at every single build we did today because I poured my heart and soul into every Single one of them starting off we built a chapel of anticipation we then moved on to the Church of La which was by far the fastest build in this video after that we did the dragon burnt ruin which I think turned out to be very atmospheric then we built our first Minor Earth tree and oh boy was this one a hassle we then built the stormgate on which I exceptionally liked the flags last but not least we built this storm rail castle and oh man it’s a beauty and since I know I’m uploading this video at The end of the year I want to wish all of you you happy holidays and a happy New Year goodbye Video Information
