Okay I have no idea how to start these hi everyone um this is VTO 59 and today is a very different episode we’re actually going to talk about some building ideas for you the player uh for the new blocks of 1.21 so if you don’t know 1.21 has released a snapshot with a Bunch of new and I’m going to utilize them today for the builds but first let’s talk a little bit about them so actually first of all I’m including the pot because it has uh a new feature uh which is to store stuff like that so yeah that’s going to be Included for now but also about the new blocks uh first of all there’s all these new copper variants which uh actually there’s technically double the amount of this because there’s the normal and the wax but for now I’m just going to use the wax variants just to make sure they Stay in their current state so first we have the Copper Door which is a very very pretty color actually all of these are pretty colors uh but this one has actually a really nice design of course you have the little X shape over here at the top and then there’s this lock Looking thing but it’s more of a handle so I guess it’s fine and then you have these grates which actually make quite a pretty sound like do you hear that very nice they’re also transparent blocks so they work like glass yeah you like can’t see the end of it And here we have the what is this the chiseled copper blocks which is which kind of looks like a wheel or like they all have like very similar designs with the X thing so I do think it’s a very nice consistent design and then we have These These are the copper bulbs now if you don’t know what a copper bulb is basically it’s a light source that once you activate it it turns on but if you remove the red P Redstone no yeah Redstone impulse uh it doesn’t actually turn off the block you just have to send Another signal to turn it off so we’ll be using utilizing that mechanic and we’ll just be utilizing like the block itself cuz this is also a very pretty design for a block and then of course we have the trap doors which also make quite nice sounds and yeah that’s all For copper now we have the tough blocks there’s a lot of these now first of all obviously there’s just like the normal T I didn’t bring that out but there we now have the stairs the slabs and the walls as well as this really interesting like almost windy Design for the chiseled tff plus it has a really nice top and I think the Bottom’s the same and then we have all the Polish variants we have the tough bricks and then we have this one this one is a really good pillar pillar color so like for Example okay let’s make it a little taller um oh it’s right yeah look this is a really nice like pillar color also it’s like a just a really nice color palette in general this is like a good in between of stone and deep slay it’s like not too bright but it’s also not Too dark and last but not least we actually have the crafter which is a block that automates crafting I don’t have anything um to show you uh I guess we can do this so for example this is in here now and then this turns into since this is a Crafting recipe it’ll turn into redstone dust and if I activate it yep out comes the Redstone also this is a very directional block so it’s actually like good for design as well cuz like the bottom is very nice and I actually use that a lot we’ll see in a Little bit so let’s actually start with the first idea which is actually very simple uh it’s a piggy bank so well it’s not really a pig it’s more of just like a thing to hold items so for example I can put like uh can I put I can put gold Nuggets like and then like I can just slowly fill it up over time in like my world and then let’s say um I’m ready to like hatch it or like break it I collect all of my stuff and yeah I think it’s a pretty interesting Way to use it and I just got rid of it um there’s also just like the windows in the back I use the copper trap doors over here I actually think they do work very well with like bright colors bright colors and then like maybe a little bit of a darker Color and yeah so that was the piggy bank it’s gone now um so my second idea actually is right here so this is only like a little bit because if I were to build like like a whole building this would take way too long like I think the Tough blocks work really well for like Castle builds cuz it’s like it really is like a perfect color like you can see that and I decided to like build like maybe like an outdoor area where you can like enter through and also uh this floor is actually made out of Polish tff And chisel tough cuz chisel tough has a really really beautiful top area so it makes a good sheered pattern with like polished tough and then I add like the pillars and then I like leave these little middle designs just to keep like the the texture interesting apart from just being like stone Bricks and yeah like these work really well as Pillars and in like our garden over here uh for example this path I decided to also include the Polish tff into into the path play which I think looks really nice and then another thing is that we can now have more detailed tough looking build so for example this little Fountain right here now like utilizes the stairs the slabs and the walls so I think there’s a lot of potential for more natural looking tough integration into like builds instead of it just being like blocky chunks so yeah I think that’s really nice um our next one here is actually Just really utilizing the fact that the chiseled copper looks like a wheel so I kind of made like a little wagon here and I think like it works really well as whe especially this color this color works really well as a wheel and yeah do what you want with That information but I think that it has good potential for like Wheels um oh next we actually have probably the more basic ideas a lamp and actually this is a functional lamp because you can press on it oh uh you can press on it and it turns on and then It actually since the signal is gone you’ll press it again because it’s a button and it’ll turn off so it’s actually a functional a completely functional lamp and I think it’s pretty cool of course you’re going to have to use like a dragon egg or like anything it’s kind of expensive but it’s Fine uh next is a rather bigger like more themed build so I like to utilize the copper like if I were if I were to use copper in my world it would be for more like industrial builds so for example I like kind of made like this Sewer looking place where like the water drips from the ceiling and then it’s covered in pipes and like little machineries I don’t know what they do but they do something and actually here we go here’s our first use of the actual the crafter I don’t think I I don’t Think I actually used the crafter for its proper use at all but it works really well as like a little place to put like a lever because like it has like this little wooden outline and then inside is the stone and I think it looks really Nice now of course I also used a lot of other copper blocks for example there’s a lot of chiseled copper there’s copper trap doors there’s also these copper grates which work really well for like platform oh what the heck that’s weird uh but they work really well as platforms especially if You want to see under you so like they work really well for like kind of underground Industrials s uh like sewer re builds and I think that’s like really nice potential of course I also use the copper bulbs they are still very nice and yeah I also used the tough of course And I made like little little leaks or like little puddles so yeah that was pretty fun to make this was pretty fun to make actually I like this one a lot uh next we have a just a little bit of some lamp design so obviously here are the copper Bulbs and actually these are functional lamps so say you space them out evenly instead of just putting them so close to each other and like when you walk through like the nighttime you walk past them and they turn on and then when you’re leaving again they’ll like turn Off I think it’s really cool actually and then we have some ceiling designs these are more basic and these don’t use like skull sensors like these over here so you have to like turn them off manually but I still think these are quite nice except for this one this one Actually does use like skull sensor but since like this is more for Like Houses I don’t want it to always like turn on and off so I have to specifically jump for this to work and I use this using the skull sensor up here with a comparator uh if you don’t know Basically the comparator like Compares like a block state so so for example this book is on page two so it’ll send out a signal of two and then the calibrated sensor when it’s uh set to two it actually only detects like Landing or jumping so that’s why that’s Why it’s working right now uh that’s just a fun little tip to know uh if you’re going to utilize like Redstone and stuff uh next we have this kind of copper Great Wall design I think these work well as like fences in like more like underground or like storage rooms So like for example or like even like garages so like for example I made this like a little wall and inside here is like a storage uh chamber and inside here is filled with decorated pots that you can probably store stuff in now actually no You can and then I used the tough stairs the the what is this chisel tough and the tough polished tough oh yeah these are all polished except for chisel I use like the slabs and the stairs to make like a little a back and I think it Looks quite nice and I think it Blends quite well with the Deep slay uh of course I did use the copper bulbs again these are just really nice like middle ground layer layering and then you can just fit in the copper bulb every now and then these are just really Nice blocks copper honestly works really well with like dark any any kind of tone actually light light tone Works dark tone works and yeah anything just works really well I just realized that’s not supposed to be like that all right um lastly this one took a Little while uh this is kind of just like me trying to utilize everything to make some sort of build and I’m going to be honest it’s I I don’t know what I was trying to do although it actually looks kind of fun it looks kind of fun I think I do like it so this is kind of a house so for example we use like the base as like tough bricks and Polished tough and chiseled tough and we used copper bulbs as lighting for the most part I think it’s only it’s the only oh no there’s candles actually and then up Here is my uh oxidized copper door with more ooh copper trap doors as like racks I think I don’t know what they’re called and then up here I use more copper bulbs uh out here the grates really work well as just like things to look under so for example this like little balcony And also the copper like trap doors work really well with chiseled like these chiseled things chisel copper because uh they just they literally have the same design so like they it just kind of looks like it’s an extension so I made like fencing and then over here is like a Little real a hook I don’t remember what they’re called and then over here I turned on like a copper bulb to light up the area and then I had all of these like copper like I like to say piping but like I didn’t find like a good one I Was going to use Acacia because like these are a little much but I couldn’t find like a a good green variant so I just used like the cut copper and actually it allowed me to use like gradients and I think it looks really pretty so every now and then like up Here and yeah and then like I added like copper oh these are not oxidized oh these are oxidized uh and then I added like copper supports for like this part of the house right here I think it looks really funky and I kind of like it then Like here’s the bedroom and then over here is like a I don’t know like a a giant mechanical furnace I guess and then I use like the crafter again which would actually works like for example like even if it’s like just the design it is kind of functional Because it’s quite literally next to a oh but I I don’t know where that went wait where did that go uh okay maybe not the most functional maybe you go to I think I I think it’s like no I don’t know whatever but anyway yeah here’s like the furnace with like the little Chimney and then over here up top is like the roof designs and I think it looks very nice actually I think I did very well on this house for how weird I made it look but yeah I hope like seeing all of these builds and some of these ideas Will like give you ation to like building your world when this update comes out because there are definitely going to be like more blocks coming for this update and that’s very exciting because just these blocks alone I really I really just like want to build like an A sewer or like an industrial area in my world now I mean like I am going to do that but like like even here I like now I want to like build like a mountain castle I think that would look really nice uh but that’ll be it for Now maybe I’ll might do another one when more blocks come out in like the snapshots but for now that’s it uh I hope you guys enjoyed some of the ideas if you have any ideas that you want to share with everyone you can like post it Down in the comments and if you like the video just leave a like And subscribe and this is Veil to 59 signing out
