Insane Minecraft Battle: Ultimate PVP Mayhem!

Hey guys antoine here and welcome back to another minecraft video and today i’m going to be showing you guys a multiplayer pvp arena by the name of minefield now this is no ordinary multiplayer pvp arena in fact this is a team based 7v7 map or i should say it’s up to 7v7 because

You can use as many players as you want as long as there’s you know at least one person on each team and this map has three different built-in game types along with a built-in in-map heads-up display for everybody to see so as you can probably imagine there is a whole

Lot to cover just by looking at the redstone i’m sure you guys are you know immediately baffled at this map but i will assure you that i will do my best to explain exactly how this map works and you know what you’re going to

Need to do to get it going um and one thing that i did want to mention or i should say two things is that this is completely vanilla so all you have to do you know bare minimum get some friends together pop it on a server and you are

Good to go or at the very least you can just download this map to check it out to marvel at it yourself just like i’ve been doing uh the second thing that i wanted to mention is that i unfortunately am not able to get that many people or really many people at all

You know for a map organization like that because these videos especially this one has taken me a very long time to record so i didn’t want to go wasting anyone’s time with anything like that um so i’m gonna be you know demonstrating this map showing it to you guys solo you

Know the sort of stuff how it works so if you are a player and you’re playing in the games then you know i’ll explain how you know you get going and stuff like that if you are a host because yes this map does in fact actually require a

Host to control the control board that i just talked about then i will be explaining all of those as well but the first thing that i want to mention is i want to mention the games themselves i’m going to go ahead and i’m going to turn my speed off set speed

1 there we go and uh yeah so if you are just playing this on the vanilla and you you can either show your friends this video or if you want uh if your you know your friends are brand new to this map you can explain the map to them just by

Telling them to come over and look at the sign so this is all the info that the players are going to need this is all of the game info so if you want to explain the game types to them which is what i’m going to be doing first um then

You know bring them to this board and for the host you know if you are the host for this then you can take a look at this board as well but again i’m going to be explaining everything in this video so just leave them lead them

All to this video if you want to but anyways as i said this is one big massive pvp arena that has multiple game types so the three game types that are available for this map are team deathmatch and it’s your standard team deathmatch except you know it’s tracked

A little bit differently so whichever team reaches 10 deaths first or whichever team has the most deaths at the end of five minutes loses so whichever team obviously has the least amount of death wins and that’s essentially how that works uh conquest assault is the red team starts with

Control of all of the capture points and the blue team has to capture all of the points after five minutes are up the winners uh the winners that have the most flag whoever whoever has the most flag captures wins essentially if none are captured blue team wins because red did

Not defend them and that one i’m a little bit skeptical of because wouldn’t it actually be the red should win if they were if they were defended because blue couldn’t capture any of them that one comes across to me as a little weird but i

Mean you can kind of make up the rules for yourself um because you know it’s not like the map blows up for the other team if uh you know or it doesn’t like ban the other players or something if they lose you know you you can kind of

Make up you know that rule for yourself because i think that the blue team winning if the red team doesn’t have any other points captured that one’s kind of silly but anyways the third game type is rush and basically this is a bomb assault map so the red team has to

Defend bomb a and bomb b whilst the blue team has to try and detonate them all uh if a bomb is armed then the bomb will just the the bomb on display will make a sound and flash tnt can also be inserted but it’s a one-time use obviously if that happens

So anyways what i’m going to do first before explaining what the players do or what the host does is i’m going to show you guys the map itself here so i’m going to go ahead and i’m going to uh i’m going to type in fly 5 so i fly

Really fast here and i’m going to go ahead instead of walking you know down either one of these aisles or through the host area i’m just going to go directly into the map itself and as a you know as a player if you want to know

What you have to do then just keep tuned in for the video i’ll be explaining that here in just a second so going into the main part of the map here there are two main areas for each team to spawn so you have this area right here this you know

If you’re playing i believe it’s team deathmatch this is going to be the red team spawn area and if you’re on the blue team then the blue teams area is let me just like fly up here the blue teams area is right there you can sort of see those blue wolves with the

Watering holes right there so anyways uh looking over this map as i said before there are three game types so the first one that i’m going to explain are the conquest and assault flag points so conquest and assault or i should it’s not conquest and assault but it’s conquest assault

The objective is to capture flags so as the red team you’re trying to defend the flags from the blue team so this is flag site a and in order to capture a flag all you have to do is stand on it now because the game is not enabled i’m not

Actually going to wind up capturing them but as you can see here you know if uh yeah so since red is going to have this if a blue team person steps on this uh then it’s going to uncapture it then it’ll recapture by the blue team and

Then this torch will turn on and then when the blue team actually captures it then it’s going this one’s going to light up and yeah and i believe i believe in conquest assault i’m not 100 sure of this but i do believe that the red team can in fact

Recapture their base not 100 sure on that one though so this is flag site a right here so you can see you know it’s indicated by the flag right here flag site b is going to be right here in the same area as one of the bombs and i’ll

Go ahead and i’ll explain that here uh when i’m explaining rush so this is a flag site b works the same way um you know except you these are the only three switches that you have and then if i go over here this is a flag site c and then

You have the flag right here with which to capture all of the same settings as i said before so that is conquest assault in a nutshell so rush what rush is all about as i said before um it’s about bomb destroying so if you want to

Destroy the bomb like you cannot let the other team get to the bomb period if uh i believe it’s red team that has to defend it and blue that has to go to it so if blue even hits the button bombs gone like you hit the button bombs gone

But obviously because the game is off uh you know this torch does not actually stay off so anyways so this is where bomb a is it’s in the same area as bomb site b as uh the b flag capture area i’m so used to saying bomb site because of uh counter-strike so

Yeah just kind of forgive me for that one so it’s in the same area as the flag as you know the b flag capture and let me go and let me set the time of day here and the second bomb is actually located where is that thing it’s located

Over here so it’s kind of located in the middle of this town area you know slightly away from the flagsite sea area so in this little town over here this is where the next bomb is so as i said before you just need to make sure that

You that as the red team you defend the bomb from the blue team and a team death match doesn’t really require any sort of explanation as i said in the as i said before the spawn points uh for the blue team are over there and the spawn points

For the red team are over there so yeah that’s essentially how the game types work in a nutshell and when the games are active uh this little bit right here with the exclamation point if it’s set to green the game is going if it’s set the red that the game is off

And nothing will work in the map so if you just wanted to use it as a standard you know regular pvp map if you didn’t want to learn any of this and you just wanted to have some fun doing pvp you could do that as well you just have to

Set your spawn points within the map itself and go ahead and have some fun you know you don’t even need to learn any of this if you don’t want to um but for those who do want to learn how all the game types work uh then go ahead and

Listen on so i’m gonna go ahead and i’m going to type in home here and now if you are a player playing this game if you’re not the host but you’re the player then i’m gonna explain to you what’s going to happen next here so essentially as a player let me go ahead

Let me go to this rule board here i’m not going to read you know right off the rule board but if you guys want to go ahead and pause the video um you know before after i’m done talking you can read all this for yourself or go ahead

And download the map then you guys can you know walk through it there but essentially the way this works is let’s just say i’m on the red team for example um i’m gonna walk down the red team’s corridor hall here i’m gonna go down here

And then as you can see right here i am met with a blocked door so uh you know as i said before i’m not gonna explain the whole stuff yet but you know if you are the host i’m gonna go ahead and i’m going to type in um go to control

So the controller of the game has to open up these doors so the host of the game has to open up the doors with which to let the players in and the controller can also close those doors to lock the players in so anyways i’m going to type

In go to red here so as you can see oh crap i dr i did below the map there um yeah stupid single player commands so as you can see here the door that was once closed is now open because i hit those because the host hit those switches so

All i have to do is walk through here i’m gonna type in fly i think it’s i think it’s fly that i had enabled yeah okay i’m gonna go through here i’m gonna go up the staircase as a red team the red team’s chanting you know they’re saying the prayers

They’re saying you know we’re gonna win this thing and stuff and then you get up here you read the signs above so please find a free booth get inside and flip the lever so i already had this one flipped because i tried demonstrating this once already and i failed majorly

Which is why i had to organize my thoughts up to explain this but uh as a member of the red team let’s just say i got here first you would flip your switch and then the host of the game would turn you know would turn uh

Day to night so everyone could sleep in the beds and i’m gonna go and i’m going to type in type in slash time night here i’m going to sleep in the bed and i believe the way that beds work is as soon as you are sleeping in the bed

It will automatically set it as your bet if you’re running a bucket server with um i believe it’s essentials then just right clicking on the bed will set it as a teleport that you can go to so if you want to run a bucket server there you go

You can just do it that way though i’m not sure if it would work 100 because i don’t believe it would be your default spawn point you have to actually sleep in the bed for that to be the case uh but anyways so now what the host has to do is the host

Has to enable the game so since the game is not enabled me hitting the switch doesn’t do a thing you know like i can’t go into this room i can’t progress any further so you can’t cheat your way into starting a game so let me just go ahead and let me go to

The host quarter here and again i’m going to explain the host quarter as its own separate thing as soon as i’m done with the whole players bit so i’m going to go ahead and i’m going to type in go to control so now as the controller of the game i’m

Just going to go ahead and i’m going to hit the let’s start team deathmatch for example that’s the easiest one to really start i’m going to hear a whole bunch of noises here the timer is going to start there and so i’m going to type in slash

Go to red here whoa ah i went through it i went through again stupid there we go perfect uh looks like the door is closed yeah the door was closed because the game actually started so i wasn’t even aware of that so that’s kind of cool when the game starts the door automatically

Closes but using the power of world it i am going to go through the store so i can demonstrate this stuff so anyways i’m going to go up here um you know as if you were on the red team and the game started this is what you were supposed to be do

This is what you’d have to you know supposed to be doing so now as a member of the red team i’m ready to go team death match let’s kick some butt so all i have to do is i have to step on here that glass bit comes out you stand right

Here for a little bit and you are going to get a slew of items that are going to drop down from those dispensers and those little waterfalls so you can see i got a full set of armor i got a bow i got you know enough crap to make some uh

Some arrows i’m gonna go ahead now i’m going to craft these here so you get all those ready you get 16 errors and then you’re good to go so as a player of team deathmatch uh what you want to do is you want to head off this way if you’re playing a

Conquest assault then there are different flag captures as flag a b and c as i was explaining before and if you actually capture one of those flag areas then you can spawn at that flag so you’ll have to run down those corridors to go over there but just a regular

Start point we’re going to go down this way because this is not the flag capturing one so as you can see if i wanted to go down flag b during conquest assault i could go down that way and i’ll explain that here as soon as you know um i’m done with the team

Deathmatch so when you’re playing team deathmatch on a pla on the member of the red of the blue team you want to wind up at this point so you only want one person at a time which is why there’s three of them so that plenty of people

Can go at once so at this point you would want to have all of your armor on you’d want to be ready to go and then you would want to hit this little button right here and then you would fall down into the water below so yeah there we go

So anyways um and i think another thing that i probably should have noted as well because as you can see over there um the display board actually ticked a death for me uh so i think what you’d probably want to do um you know as the

Host of the game when the game starts if that does happen it’s something that you just want to keep an eye out for the host should just have to reset that there i’m not sure if you have to be standing on the pressure plate when the

Game starts not 100 sure of that but yeah you can see that the timer is in fact ticking for me we’re even down to four minutes so i’ve spent the whole minute explaining the stuff since i actually started so anyways um so let’s just go ahead and let’s you know shoot

You shoot whatever you know you can collect your arrows you know you fight with the other team it’s a team deathmatch but when i go ahead and i die i’m just going to go ahead and i’m going to i believe i need to i’m not sure if i type

In home no okay that’s not what i type in um home bid not 100 sure okay so i have to go to my bed point so what i’m going to do is i’m going to type in slash go to red i’m going to go through the door here again

So when you die you wind up at your bed spawn point uh that you ended up sleeping at before so it’s definitely imperative that you sleep at your bed i’m gonna go ahead and i’m going to type in slash save red right here so oh not

Slash save i think it’s slash set red so this is where i’ll spawn from now on when i’m explaining stuff so anyways when you die this is where you wind up you wind up back at your bed you wind up right here and then you walk through the

Door again you get you know another set of items so we just go ahead and we wait for those to drop down i’m not going to bother assembling the arrows or anything like that and let’s just go ahead and let’s go through here so let’s go and let’s fly

This way let’s fly this way and then let’s go ahead and let’s go back to our spawn point here and as you can see oh i’m in yeah okay so i still landed in the water you don’t want to move at all while you’re dropping down that otherwise that’ll just be an

Automatic stupid death that’d be a pretty awesome sniping ability though if you just waited for the other team to come back down that’d be pretty funny but since i walked through the door again you can see that it ticked another death so over the course of five minutes

Or however long you want to do and i’ll you know i’ll explain why that’s the case you can set the game time to be whatever you want it to be um that’s the real beauty of this map um you know the first team to die ten times first will

Lose or whichever team has the most death at the end of five minutes will lose so anyways i’m gonna go ahead and i’m going to type in slash go to control i am going to hit stop match here because i want to explain how conquest assault works uh for the player at hand

So we go the game is stopped the timer is resetting and now here’s a big one i mean i’m just gonna go ahead and i’m gonna do it here i’m just gonna reset the blue lives the red lives as you can see here looking at the board

There once that thing crawls up back to 10 hmm did it reset okay there we go so it’s just a little bit slow so yeah as you can see that’s reset and even if the blue team had no deaths i’d still have to reset it because otherwise it just breaks

So anyways i’m going to what i’m going to do now is i am going to start a team no not team deathmatch i want to start a conquest assault so i can show you guys the flag spawn points and the rush the rush one um is this i believe has the

Same spawn point rules as team deathmatch so i’m not going to show rush so anyways i’m going to go ahead and i’m going to type in slash go to red oh uh there we go crap stop that stupid single player commands okay so anyways walking through here we’re gonna get yes

Yet another set of items okay i’m gonna go and i’m going to walk through here and i believe as a member of the red team i get access to every single spawn point to start off with so the red team can split up your team however you want and the blue team will

Only get your one little ranky dink spawn point so flag b i’m just gonna go and i’m going to head out for the head off to this area you know just for the sake of example um and of course if uh the blue team has captured it then they get the ability to

Come here as well i’m gonna go and i’m going to do this i’m going to drop down into the water below so as i said before you know if you have a base captured then you can defend it by spawning at that actual spawn point

In order to capture a flag i’m gonna go and i’m going to stand right here so as you can see it’s capturing i’m just oh let’s spam around these buttons actually all these buttons are the same thing there we go it’s recapturing and then the controllers are swapped if

We go ahead and we look up at this board here you can see that base b it the map itself can’t differentiate what team you’re on so if you’re defending the flag don’t hit the switch because you’d just be screwing yourself over but anyways you can see that b site

Has now been captured and now what i’m going to do let’s just say a piece person from the red team comes along okay yeah so as i was saying earlier i wasn’t 100 sure if a member of the red team could recapture it but it appears as if they can

So there we go the controllers have been swapped and then the whole thing turns off and yeah you can see that now it is a member of the red teams uh so there we go so that’s essentially how conquest assault works uh so you want to obviously remain in control of as many

Flags as you can at any given time up until the five minute timer runs out and rush is pretty uh pretty self-explanatory um as i was saying before if you’re a part of the red team you need to be defending the bombs uh you only get the team death match spawn

Points i believe i’m not 100 sure on that could be totally wrong i could just be completely screwing myself uh but anyways you know as soon as the button would be hit here obviously it’s not going to work because this is not the game type but when the bomb button is

Actually pushed then that’ll be turned red that’ll be turned red and if they both get turned red then the red team loses and if they i i guess yeah i’m not wait no yeah okay the red team would lose if both of them get hit if both of them

Stay alive then the red team wins um so yeah so anyways i’m going to go ahead and i’m going to type in the slides go to control here i am going to stop the match so there we go the match is going to be stopped and now i’m going to reset the

Flags even though they were already even though like they all three of them were captured by red i’m still gonna reset them and then like i’ve done so much explaining of this room but i’m still gonna be doing a separate separate explanation for the host itself because

There’s just i just don’t want you guys to get confused so i hope you guys um get a good understanding now of how from a player’s point of view like as a player you don’t need to worry about this room but i mean at least after watching this video you have a basic

Understanding of how everything works oh and another thing actually i’m not even gonna note that yet i’m gonna note it when i get down here explaining all the control stuff so hopefully you guys understand how this works from a player sort of perspective uh now let’s go

Ahead and let’s move on to the host perspective so if you are hosting the game if you’re hosting the game things are quite a bit different for you i’m going to go ahead and i’m going to clear out my inventory here because that’s a little bit annoying having that much

Crap in there i’m going to give myself a pressure plate too unless it’s already set down over there so as the host of the game this is all the info that you’re going to need or as i said before you can just watch this video

So what you want to do is you want to go through this door right here which is not a does not originally have a pressure plate so that’s actually a little bit weird because you can’t actually get into the door but as the host i’m sure you have creative mode

Anyways um so i’m gonna go and i’m going to walk into the door here there’s this neat little song if you want to if you want to play it or loop it for like a pre-game sort of thing it’s really quite cool um i’m gonna hit the button play the music

Yeah it’s like this neat little like lobby type music and you can loop it if you want to and anyone walking through this area it’s like battle music it’s like getting ready to start it’s like if the tone was a little bit lower i’d almost think like didn’t terminator

Didn’t something like that you know that’s but it does play a really nice melody and if you guys want to you know look at the melody for yourselves i mean this in and of itself is seriously seriously impressive look at this thing this is this this alone is like worth

Its own video and yet it’s embedded into this map that has so much more to offer so anyways as the host what you can do is you can you uh go to the control room you can go down this path and it’s actually a really really long path i’m

Not gonna follow the entire thing but you go down this ladder you can continue following the path out and i’m gonna go and i’m gonna type in slash five five here and where you will ultimately end up is you will ultimately end up on the roof of the control tower so i’m going

To go ahead and i’m going to fly down here so you’ll wind up like i said before this is the end of that path so you’ll wind up down here and then you go down this ladder here and you will be in the control room you are the commander of

The game you are the host of everything you are the person who starts and stops the games and you are the person who controls the amount of time that’s on the clock you can reset the kills if you want you can do anything involving controlling with this map from here you

Are not a player you are the host so as the host you need to understand how everything in this room works so i believe by default all these switches are going to be up and they really should be like i see no reason why they

Wouldn’t be up so when they’re up all of these things are disabled so what you want to do to enable any controls in the control room you want to hit enable control room and you can hear a whole bunch of pistons which basically enables all of these buttons to actually work so

If i were to hit this here and let’s just say i hit the start rush let’s just say i hit the start team death match button nothing over there would happen nothing because the control room has not been enabled so definitely imperative that you enable the control room here

So now if all of the teams are ready let’s just say you know everyone’s ready everyone’s at their doors those doors that i showed earlier if i could go to let’s just say go to red here oh crap crap okay yeah see let me actually type

And slash go to blue because i had one ready for that as well you can see that the door here is closed but if i’m in the control room and i type in or if not if i type in but if i hit these switches right here

Now the doors are going to open i’m going to type in slash go to blue you can even hear them open actually and you can see here this door opened and it opened for the red team as well everyone can go in and if everyone is confirmed

In i’m just going to type in slash go to control then you can go ahead and you can reclose the doors to lock everybody in so that nobody you know cheats and escapes and says you know so are so that nobody gets locked out or whatever or anything like that you know

Just if you for whatever reason want to close those doors you can but when the game starts the doors also automatically close so you don’t need to worry about it that much so there you go so that’s opening and closing those doors and then if it ends up derping for whatever

Reason if any of these things derp you can hit this button i guess to fix them all so anyways this restarts the timer and over here this is the mid this is you know the main stuff if you want to start a team deathmatch you know with default

Settings you know the five minute counter and then it starts up that thing right there then you want to go ahead and you want to hit this button but what i would highly recommend doing before starting that game at all is you want to reset the lives so if you’re doing a

Team deathmatch you want to reset the blue lives and you want to reset the red lives you want to do that because even if like let’s just say you just played a game through and the other team didn’t die for example let’s just say blue team

Did not die but you didn’t reset their counter because you didn’t think it needed to be well then it won’t track any deaths on their side because when i was recording earlier i actually figured this out the hard way i was trying to demonstrate something on

The blue team and the blue team counter was not going and thus i had to stop recording and really think about what was going on here so highly recommended that you reset any settings for whatever game you’re going to be starting so this is the team deathmatch resetting stuff here you know

Blue lives and red lives so yeah um so if i wanted to go and i wanted to start team deathmatch i could go ahead and i could hit this button and you guys saw what i did earlier there you know starting team deathmatch up if

I wanted to start a rush game all i’d have to do is hit this button if i wanted to start conquest assault all i’d have to do is hit this button and if for whatever reason i needed to cut off the games early or something like that or

Let’s just say one team definitely won then there you go you just go ahead and you hit this button right here and what’s cool is that you don’t need to like keep track of anything in like a notepad or anything like that everything in order to keep track of who’s winning and who’s

Looting losing all on that board right there it is the greatest thing being the host here you just kind of get to be lazy there should be like some sort of king’s chair something like that some sort of like lazy boy chair here or something like that

So anyways if i wanted to go ahead and i wanted to start a rush i would go ahead and i would reset the bombs you know just for just for good old sake i’d reset the bombs and then start rush and then uh if i wanted to do for

Example a conquest assault the flag capturing game i would reset point a i’d reset point b and then i’d reset point c and then i’d go ahead and i would start the game up so yeah um oh and if you were let’s just say as i was saying before you can kind

Of make up your own rules with how the stuff works so if i were to start a team deathmatch or any one of these that would have the timer enabled let’s just say here you know i started a team deathmatch it got down to like three minutes or something like that then i

Hit reset timer i think this may toggle through the entire timing set i have no idea doesn’t look like it because there’s no actual game going on so let me go ahead and let me start a quick uh team deathmatch here so you can hear that since the room is

Enabled this little glowstone retracts to show you that a game has actually been started we look at the other end there you can see it is at five minutes let’s just say it’s down to three minutes and you wanna up the ante you wanna up it back up to five minutes so

You want it to be an eight minute game or something like that all you have to do is you have to go ahead and you hit reset counter there and take a look at the counter it is going to toggle from five four three two one

Zero and then i believe it is going to toggle back up to five uh not 100 sure on that one i think it’s actually supposed to let me go ahead and let me hit that one more time see if that ends up happening reset timer not 100 sure on this one

There’s so many things to figure out with this map that it’s just been absolutely crazy um yeah okay so it doesn’t look like that’s the case i’m gonna go ahead and i’m going to get out of this mode here so i guess if you reset the timer then

You have to reset the game so that kind of stinks i guess but oh well what are you going to do so anyways i’m going to go ahead and i’m going to hit stop match here you’re going to hear a little base hit it’s going to uh unretract that piston

It’s going to extend that piston so that the glowstone is popping out as you can see here we are back down to zero minutes and the game has been restarted and even though like i said before there are no deaths on either team i would still recommend resetting the blue lives

And the red lives so anyways guys um i think that’s pretty much it for like everything you know i think i’ve pretty much explained how this entire map works i think this took me a good half an hour to explain or something like that i mean it’s seriously this is

Seriously an impressive map i highly recommend if you guys even have like two if you want to host a game and you have two other friends who are willing to go at it go ahead and do this because it is boatloads of fun and even if you

Don’t have a host and you just want to use the map as a regular pvp style map that has you know no interaction with any bombs or any tracking of any kind this is definitely an awesome pvp map in and of itself so anyways guys i hope you all have

Enjoyed this video um but before i go ending off the video just so you guys can appreciate this a little bit more i’m gonna show you the underside with the redstone and you guys can download this for yourselves as well as i was saying before this is the path

That you can walk on as the controller you know if you want to go into the game but yeah just just just look at this crap here this is like insanity times 9000. i could not imagine the difficulties having to go through this like coding something like this

This is way beyond anything that anyone has ever made in terms of minigames uh in my opinion um i’ve i’ve played you know the stuff that effie disco has made and his stuff is seriously impressive but this just kind of takes it to a whole new level that i just did not i

Would have never fathomed was possible i would have never ever assumed that anything like this was possible so yeah if you guys want to download this for yourselves i highly highly recommend it the link is going to be in the description as well show the guy who made it some

Love um i’m going to link to his youtube video as well be sure to take a look at that because i mean it’s just these guys deserve like the video that i saw when i viewed it had about a thousand views that video deserves about a million views like this map deserves

Way more attention than it’s getting and you guys it’s up to you guys to show this guy some attention you know so give him some love give him some support um i highly recommend it and i i don’t even know who who what the name is of the

Person who emailed this to me but this is actually an email submission and this is a map like this is what makes looking through 500 emails worth it because of one gem like this one hidden gem that for whatever reason didn’t see any sort of attention if you guys know of
