Welcome back to another video on geara Studios and today I’m going to be showing you how to build yourself a gift Mansion for the fourth day of geara so without further Ado let’s investigate how we’d go about this and of course massive pette for this I mean look at How big the footprint is so I’m going to go over it pretty quick choose a primary block for your present and then put another block on top of it a ribbon and then if you want a bow or some designs choose another of course the bow and Designs can be different for Our walls we’re going to be using smooth quartz and then some quartz brick like this the flooring will be a combination of calite birch planks and birch logs which surprisingly I’ve never used before in a video and then the rest of these blocks will will be used intermittently according to how the Signs say they are used also this Mansion includes a farm inside which means you do need some polished diate to cover up the water then build yourself a couple of rectangles three is a good way to start since the rest of them will likely be small ones only used for Getting inside and then divide it into a bunch of Threes like this of course that’s pretty simple but when you add a bunch of them together like this it can get quite difficult but if you can do that and make sure they all have reasonable entrances into each other Even making a little empty area in order to make that easier then you have yourself the basic foot footprint from here what you want to do is go up however many blocks you want each present to be of course they can go up however many four as you want this one’s Going to be four this one’s going to be two and that one the blue one is going to be one and that’s pretty much what we do for the basic exterior since if you can get the shaping done on the exterior the interior comes naturally to avoid a little bit of a Shape crisis on the inside I’m going to be doing the interior first if you want to continue on with the exterior to help you with the interior make it roughly five blocks taller than you actually want it to be since of course our interior is going to be a bit different From from usual we can see that we have some black stone going up arcing across with little holes spiraling upwards into sea lanterns which makes us our farming area I’m going to be doing this first because you know infrastructure is always key in making a good build every About 12 blocks or so place it down another piece of water like this and then of course till the entire area and start planting crops since you will have a lot of food in order to continue on building and here’s the tricky part because if you did not do this Completely correct then you’re going to have an awkward situation when it comes to the bottom since you can see dirt under there we don’t want that so always make sure that if you have Farmland nearby make sure the block under matches the block above in order to make it consistent otherwise continue building The farm and then you’ll be able to to finish off this section and if you want you can potentially replace the blocks down here instead of more quartz brick you could have some of the polished Blackstone which I’m going to be doing in here we have ourselves a farm Using our basic designs we can see how this comes together we have a bunch of quartz a bunch of stairs and then some Blackstone to break it all up but here’s the thing although your general idea would be oh let’s include Blackstone literally everywhere that’s not exactly How it works because if you add too much it stops looking modern and more like a bunker so be careful with adding too much Black Stone as for the plants themselves we need a lot of sea lanterns on the top and then hidden under here seea lanterns at these little connecting Points you can only see a couple of pixels of them so not a big deal for here we can place any slab we want so I said die right over there but it’s gone because I decided you know what polished Blackstone works better of course you Can try it with diorite but I personally enjoy Blackstone a bit more then add doors here don’t spend 10 seconds off camera trying to place a door awkwardly and then start building this design just about everywhere of course avoid the taller areas since this is pretty unfinished we don’t want it to look Super futuristic like this so be careful about including too much of our ice accent block while you’re sorting out the interior with basic designing of course my designs are still work in progress you should probably do pieces of the exterior here and there you know swap between the two and the exterior is Surprisingly easy all you have to do is measure how many blocks tall it will be once it’s done I have copied the ceiling design from down there and then this ends up being the top block which means we create a layer all the way around this we coat the outside completely in Concrete and a couple blocks from the top it depends on the height of the structure there really isn’t any perfect formula here it’s going to be three here it’s likely also going to be three it’s completely up to you but of course make sure to try several different options in Order to see what works best once you figure out what works best then go with that number I’m going to say it’s actually five here then we go around the entire premises and then we have to find the middle in order to add the ribbon and this part can be a little Annoying I’m going to be doing the blue one since it’s the smallest and easiest to measure so we go here and we count how many blocks it takes to get to the middle using this method right here this is the middle right here so do you want It to be three blocks wide if so then what you want to do is wrap around this and then go to the ground and as you go over this bump here and up here what you want to do is round out the edges destroy a couple blocks Here and there or if you’re really wanting to do something else add blocks and this adding blocks works best what you want to do from here is go all the way across the top enter link to the other side and go back down repeating the same thing do this on both sides While keeping the measurements consistent once you have your gifts in with their little Lids here then you’ll have most of the exterior complete but one thing you might notice is our ribbons sometimes don’t align of course sometimes we get them pretty like this but other times it just doesn’t work out So what do we do make this one block off center and annoy everyone well we can make it more than one block off center simply move the little ribbon tie a couple of blocks over if you do it like that then it makes it seem a little bit More authentic since not everyone ties it in the middle and of course you completely bypass that problem by making it do this and another thing is this is more when you place the rectang Tangles together sometimes they’re a little non- idian I mean what’s going on here well I Can explain it using some sound effect well simple as that yeah they don’t need to quite abide by the laws of physics here since this is Minecraft and once you have all those little ribbons in then you might want to consider adding designs and Designs are pretty easy Stripes diagonal Stripes Stars Etc I’m going to be adding some White Stripes to this green present here and make sure that if your Ribbon is three blocks wide the stripes also need to be a similar number of blocks as in don’t have an even number of Stripes well width of the stripe when you have An odd number of your ribbons otherwise your stripes won’t go quite in too nice to the edge so be careful with that but add your designs and see how how you like it now we have ourselves some stripes on these presents of course I only added stripes on one maybe because I’m kind of boring like that but anyways what we want to do from here is determine do we want bows if you have one big one say you’re only following this for one present then yes if you have two probably if you have three maybe consider removing one from one Present essentially if you have a giant pile of presents you should have more bows than you have not bows but in order to do bows of course you have to follow either of these two designs of course you can invent your own but these are the two I recommend either one of those Ones that resemble those very complicated tied ones that are taped on to presents you can see how I have these diagonal connected blocks in order to create a weird design on a little bump here and then forther this one we have a simple tie it’s symmetrical pretty easy To do so it doesn’t really matter which one’s which because both of them often times work on presents of any size but now we have to go and finish ourselves the interior I have done almost everything here for this middle ceiling part you can either add more lighting or Potentially something more unique like a globe design connect everything up more dark oak doors and then we’ll be ready to do the proper interior for the interior you don’t actually have to do terribly much I’ve already got most of this industrial area right here inside the green present Handled and you can see we have a deep site tile flooring some cracks in it a big storage system I recommend replacing the blocks behind this with whatever things you’re sorting if it’s only an item such as bones well bones is is a bad example but string then use an item Frame once you replace all your mosaics you can build yourself a brewing area little bit of Nether wart for good measure an auto smelter of course it’s not completely done but you get the idea this connecting bit here will be trap doors if you built them a little too far Apart from each other notice the presents don’t exactly touch perfectly from the inside and these can be open to reveal a deeper area if you want one I’m not going to be covering that but still and then for each little platform we’re going to have in the main room we’re Going to have some birch logs if they’re nice and cozy and then on the bottoms lights like this same thing is up there except the sea lanterns are a block lower and then fill them up with whatever you need crafting tables trophy displays Etc and for the ceiling put Whatever you want I recommended a globe I ended up putting my own logo in the corners we have all sea lanterns hidden away with clever use of stairs and utilizing the fact that this top is a little thick of course this part doesn’t work right here but ignore that and then You want to fill each individual area with a couple platforms three platforms for this section here works good at least one in here and then you’ll have yourself a completed gift to mansion once you have yourself the Smithy complete with your necessities and a little bit of decoration in the form of Armor stands lava neither or both and if you have more room include more lava we are now ready to see what you can do with the big red present and it’s certainly something to behold I’d say it’s one of my best at Works to date and Here’s what it looks like you can see all the platforms work together in order to make this almost maze like like structure and it looks beautiful we have our splashes of color here with our books and not to mention good storage for enchanted books and then we have ourselves the bubble elevators lined With glow Len to prevent flooding and if you go through right you can hop to this platform get between these two areas and then walk around some more go to the top which is perfectly suited for multiplayer due to our presence of multiple beds and some resupply chest in Case you die some nice music up here which can be moved to the lower layer and how do you get back down from here without no return elevator simple already know no fall damage because we have well I I’m a oneman team we have ourselves some powder snow with Carpet on top although it might be a little tedious to get still while on this no fall damage so it makes a fantastic choice for getting up and down since the only limit is gravity and now from here you have a completed gift Mansion make sure to clean up any little Mistakes here and there such as oops some slabs might be upside down stairs might be upside down and I will say make sure to check all of your roofs I’ve missed a bunch of stairs and prior Clips due to this and then once you’re absolutely sure you have a completed Gift mansion and what do you know it looks fantastic and if we go far away what do you know it’s very visible due to the bright colors so you won’t be losing your base if you’re having trouble with entrances feel free to hide some behind the little ribbons here I Included an extra one over here for good measure and then take a shot at it even if you don’t plan on building a house inside of it still it’s a nice little festive way to spice up your snow biome and what do you know it works And with that it’s the end of today’s video If you enjoyed this video remember please like And subscribe it really helps me out either way enjoy the rest of your day and stay tuned if
